An analytical model for contact area and contact stress considering the loading history in incremental sheet forming(ISF)was established.Then,by integrating with the directional characteristics of friction force and horizontal force in the process,a friction test method reflecting the forming characteristics of ISF was proposed.Friction coefficients during the forming processes of parts with different wall angles were measured under various plane curves,process paths,and lubrication conditions.Furthermore,the accuracy of the analytical model,as well as the measured friction coefficients and their variation trends,was verified through comparative analysis with experimental results,simulation data,and outcomes from other existing models.The results indicate that the influence of the plane curve characteristics and process paths of parts on the friction condition is not significant.Under the lubrication conditions of L-HM46 oil,MoS_(2)grease,graphite powder,and dry friction,the friction coefficient shows a gradually increasing trend.Notably,when the wall angle is≤40°,the friction coefficient remains relatively constant;however,when the wall angle exceeds 40°,the friction coefficient increases progressively. 展开更多

The microstructural characteristics, elemental distribution law and microscopic formation mechanism of the burning products of TA15 titanium alloy were investigated by friction oxygen concentration method, associated with in situ observation, X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) analyses, providing the thoughts to improve fireproof property. The results show that, when the friction contact pressure(p) is 0.20 MPa and oxygen concentration of premixed air flow(c) is 60 vol%, TA15 titanium alloy produces violent sparks and presents dazzling white light during combustion. The generated products after burning are mainly TiOand small amount of AlOoxides. Four distinct zones form from the combustion surface to the alloy matrix, and they are in the sequence of combustion zone, fusion zone, heat-affected zone and transition zone. Further, combustion zone is composed of TiOand A1203 compounds, containing obvious cracks. In the fusion zone, discontinuous oxygenrich Al-based solid solution forms, and the elemental distribution has strong volatility. In the heat-affected zone,there are abundant of Ti-based solid solution and small amount of Al-and Mo-based solid solution. Transition zone is made of lamellar structure. Two technical approaches are given to prevent oxygen diffusion inside the reaction zone and reaction-affected zone. On the one hand,the content of Al is designed as the upper limit of alloy composition; on the other hand, fireproof coatings are deposited on the surface of the alloy. 展开更多

It is pointed out that the friction and lubrication conditions in for drawing are different from that in mechanical motion or machine work or other plastic process. The common test methods in laboratories are analyzed. It shows that though all those test methods can test the friction coefficient, the probe test method is most suitable for the research of friction and lubrication and the process in deep drawing, for this method is identical with the actual work condition either from the test principle or deformation status of the blank. The tribological properties of newly developed friction material were evaluated by statistical analysis of the major affecting factors.The material for investigation was non-metallic friction material synergistically reinforced with aramid fibre and CaSO 4 whisker,which was developed for hoisting applications in coal mine.The response surface method(RSM)was employed to analyze the material performances affected by the independent and interactive effect of the factors under the normal working condition and severe working condition,respectively.Results showed that under the normal working condition,the newly developed material exhibited stable tribological properties which were insensitive to the test conditions.While under the severe working condition,the sliding velocity was the most dominant factor affecting the friction coefficient.Additionally,compared to the commercially available material,the modified material showed superior wear resistance and thermal stability. 展开更多

A method of dry friction hysteresis loop calculation is proposed based on friction force analysis of contact beam. The friction force is modeled as an equivalent distributed moment to use the finite element method (FEM) to calculate the dry friction vibration isolator hysteresis loop, so the damping characteristics can be obtained. A comparison of the hysteresis loop calculation results and the experimental results shows the average relative error is 2.7 %, it proves the calculation method is feasible. 展开更多

It has the advantages of both boundary element method and compliance matrix methods: small number of inputting data, simple and convenient model, precise solution, short calculating time and requirements for a small quantity of computer memory. In comparison to the other BEM with friction problems, we obtain more precise solution and less iteration times. The effect of friction coefficient on contact area. contace state, and relative displacement, normal and tangential stress was analyzed by two examples. And because of the quickness of calculation of program and efficient method, we visualize the result in virtual reality (VR) environment. A Dynamical Model to Analyze the Influence of Sliding Friction on Motion on a Curve—An Analytical Method

To demonstrate the influence of sliding friction of motion on a curve, a circular path is considered for simplicity on which a person slides from the highest point to the lowest point. A slide which represents a quadrant of radius 5 m and a person of mass 60 kg are considered for comparison in this paper. A Differential equation for motion considering the fact that the normal force depends both on the sin component of weight and also on the tangential velocity, is established and is solved using integrating factor method, and the motion is analysed for different surface roughness of the slide and is compared using superimposed graphs, also the limiting value of friction coefficient at which the person just exits the slide is determined. The correction factor for exit velocity with friction as compared with the exit velocity for zero friction is determined. The fraction of energy lost to friction at the exit is evaluated. The Variation of normal force with the position of the person on the slide is plotted for different surface roughness of the slide, and the position on the slide where the normal force or the force experienced by the person is maximum, is determined and hence its maximum value is evaluated for different surface roughness. For simplicity, a point contact between the body and the slide is considered. 展开更多

Considering the difficulties for the solution of 3 D frictional contact problems, the key part is the determination of the tangential slip states at the contact points, and a great amount of computing work is needed for a high accuracy result. A new method based on a combination of programming and iteration methods, which are respectively known as two main kinds of methods for contact analysis, was put forward to deal with 3 D elastic-plastic contact problems. This method is able to predict accurately the forced response of bladed disks in frequency domain, which is validated by numerical integration method in time domain. The resonant features of both tuned and mistuned systems are investigated by using this method under various system coupling strengths, viscous dampings, and dry friction darnpings, etc. The results demonstrate that the proposed multi-harmonic method is very efficient for studying the mistuning effects on the resonant response of bladed disks with blade-to-blade dry friction damping, especially considering the combined effects of various system parameters. 展开更多

Most numerical transient flow models that consider dynamic friction employ a finite differences approach or the method of characteristics. These models assume a single fluid (water only) with constant density and pressure wave velocity. But when transient flow modeling attempts to integrate the presence of air, which produces a variable density and pressure-wave velocity, the resolution scheme becomes increasingly complex. Techniques such as finite volumes are often used to improve the quality of results because of their conservative form. This paper focuses on a resolution technique for unsteady friction using the Godunov approach in a finite volume method employing single-equivalent twophase flow equations. The unsteady friction component is determined by taking into account local and convective instantaneous accelerations and the sign of both convective acceleration and velocity values. The approach is used to reproduce a set of transient flow experiments reported in the literature, and good agreement between simulated and experimental results is found. 展开更多

The reaction of earth to pull-out process of frictional rock bolts was here modeled by the distinct element method (DEM). Ten frictional bolts were prepared;the expanding shells of five bolts included convex edges and the others had the shells with concave bits. The strength of bolts was measured by applying a standard pull-out test;the results confirmed that the strength of shells with convex edges was remarkably more than the strength of other shells. Furthermore, a two-dimensional DEM model of the test was developed by a particle flow code;the obtained results showed that the reaction of rock particles to the contacts occurring between the convex edges and earth was considerably more than those of the concave bits. In the other words, the convex edges transferred the pull-out force into a large area of the surrounded rock, causing these bolts to have the highest resistance against earth movements. 展开更多

沉管隧道是指将若干预制完成的基本结构单元通过浮运、沉放、对接形成的水下隧道。为适应岸上段与沉管段不同基础的刚度变化,沉管隧道岸上最终接头一般设置短管节进行过渡。短管节拉合施工一般在干坞内采用体外预应力方法,即通过设置拉... 沉管隧道是指将若干预制完成的基本结构单元通过浮运、沉放、对接形成的水下隧道。为适应岸上段与沉管段不同基础的刚度变化,沉管隧道岸上最终接头一般设置短管节进行过渡。短管节拉合施工一般在干坞内采用体外预应力方法,即通过设置拉合装置采用预应力钢绞线或高强螺杆进行拉合。以襄阳鱼梁洲沉管隧道工程为依托,为了降低施工措施费,短管节拉合设计采用体内预应力张拉方法。为此研究制定并应用了干坞内短管节拉合施工工艺,解决了短管节拉合过程偏转、GINA止水带压缩不均匀的问题。根据施工实践,得到如下结论:混凝土管节与基础之间的静摩擦系数约为0.84,滑动摩擦系数处于0.55~0.68;研发了截止阀式液压同步控制系统,实现了穿心千斤顶的分级加载、同步移动及单个调控的功能;钢绞线工作锚具锁定、穿心千斤顶泄压回油后,钢绞线平均回弹量约为2.4 mm、回弹率约为0.026%。 展开更多

针对飞行器机构在运输、转载、挂飞等工况下的磨损失效问题,结合激光熔覆技术制备GH4169/WC复合涂层,开展激光熔覆工艺参数优化研究以及材料在运输振动工况下的常温干摩擦磨损行为和机理研究。基于田口-灰色关联理论,建立了GH4169/WC复... 针对飞行器机构在运输、转载、挂飞等工况下的磨损失效问题,结合激光熔覆技术制备GH4169/WC复合涂层,开展激光熔覆工艺参数优化研究以及材料在运输振动工况下的常温干摩擦磨损行为和机理研究。基于田口-灰色关联理论,建立了GH4169/WC复合材料激光熔覆工艺参数优化方法,对激光熔覆工艺参数进行优化。以实际地面运输试验数据作为输入,开展飞行器机构动力学仿真与有限元分析,确定磨损试验中接触应力、滑动速度等试验参数。利用往复摩擦磨损试验机开展不同接触参数下的摩擦磨损试验,对比GH4169/WC复合涂层与单一GH4169材料的耐磨性能,分析磨损形貌和磨损量随接触应力与滑动速度的变化规律和机理。结合田口-灰色关联理论成功将多响应目标转化为单一灰色关联度,实现了激光熔覆工艺的优化。优化后的激光功率为650 W,扫描速度为2 mm/s,送粉速率为4.7 g/min。并且预测的灰色关联度(0.6697)与实验值(0.6729)吻合较好,误差仅为0.5%。同时,与单一GH4169镍基高温合金相比,GH4169/WC复合涂层磨损深度以及对磨副磨损量均得到了降低。田口-灰色关联法能够快速准确地实现复合材料激光熔覆工艺参数优化,有效提高熔覆层质量,为激光熔覆复合材料的工业应用提供了理论依据。同时,利用激光熔覆技术制备GH4169/WC复合涂层能够提高材料耐磨性能,改善飞行器在运输、转载、挂飞等工况下的磨损失效问题。 展开更多
