Different types of questions can be designed to achieve different purposes in reading. While designing questions, teachers should take into consideration such points as the language used, manner of presentation and types of questions etc. Moreover, once questions have been designed, it’s essential for teachers to think about the techniques for the use of these questions. If appro- priately used, questions contribute greatly to students’ understanding of what they’ re reading by helping to explore the meaning that language conveys, in addition to developing proper reading skills. Therefore, teachers should be able to teach reading with well-designed questions so that the ultimate goal of understanding the text is likely to be achieved. 展开更多

Obesity is recognized as the second highest risk factor for cancer. The pathogenic mechanisms underlying tobaccorelated cancers are well characterized and efective programs have led to a decline in smoking and related cancers, but there is a global epidemic of obesity without a clear understanding of how obesity causes cancer. Obesity is heterogeneous, and approximately 25% of obese individuals remain healthy(metabolically healthy obese, MHO), so which fat deposition(subcutaneous versus visceral, adipose versus ectopic) is "malignant"? What is the mechanism of carcinogenesis? Is it by metabolic dysregulation or chronic inflammation? Through which chemokines/genes/signaling pathways does adipose tissue influence carcinogenesis? Can selective inhibition of these pathways uncouple obesity from cancers? Do all obesity related cancers(ORCs) share a molecular signature? Are there common(overlapping) genetic loci that make individuals susceptible to obesity, metabolic syndrome, and cancers? Can we identify precursor lesions of ORCs and will early intervention of high risk individuals alter the natural history? It appears unlikely that the obesity epidemic will be controlled anytime soon; answers to these questions will help to reduce the adverse efect of obesity on human condition. 展开更多

Objective:Formulating critical clinical questions and outcomes is essential for developing clinical practice guidelines(CPGs).This study aims to formulate the key clinical questions and outcomes for the CPG on acupuncture and moxibustion for allergic rhinitis(AR).Methods:PICO(patient,intervention,comparator,and outcome)question survey,Delphi survey,and consensus conference of the guideline development group(GDG)were employed.PICO questionnaires were used to gather and analyze the target users’key demands and interests.The GDG then selected the critical clinical questions and outcomes via a mixed method of Delphi survey and consensus conference.Results:Fifteen potential clinical questions and ten types of outcomes were formulated based on the analysis of 123 responses from seventeen countries on five continents.After two rounds of the Delphi survey and complete discussions,a consensus was reached by the GDG that all potential questions were included.After three rounds of the Delphi survey and complete debate,the consensus was reached that nine outcomes were considered important.Conclusion:Fifteen key clinical questions and nine important outcomes were formulated for the CPG.These covered issues elicited the most attention from global users in acupuncture therapy and AR.The results will contribute to the CPGs development and future clinical studies. 展开更多

As the world’s largest developing country,the ability of China’s agricultural resource utilization to effectively support the current and future food security goals has been affected by a variety of factors(e.g.,transformed supply channels,tightening international situation and frequent emergencies)in recent years and has attracted extensive attention from the academic community subject to multiple factors.This study uses literature review,statistical analysis,and spatial analysis methods to systematically explore China’s food security situation in the context of farmland resource constraints.It is found that the demand-side pressures such as demographic changes,social class differentiation,and dietary structure adjustments derived from economic growth and rapid urbanization have placed extremely high expectations on food supply.However,the quantitative restrictions,utilization ways,and health risks of farmland resources on the supply side constitute a huge hidden concern that affects the stability of food production.Although China’s farmland protection system is undergoing a transition from focusing on quantity management to sustainable use,the matching and coordinating demand pressure and supply capacity for food security is unbalanced.Therefore,facing uncertain future development scenarios,policymakers should focus on building a resilient space for China’s farmland protection to withstand the interference of major emergencies.The existing farmland protection space policy can be integrated by establishing a national farmland strategic reserve system(based on resilient space),and further development of targeted use control measures for zoning,grading,and classification will help realize sustainable China’s farmland resources use. 展开更多

With the emergence of large-scale knowledge base,how to use triple information to generate natural questions is a key technology in question answering systems.The traditional way of generating questions require a lot of manual intervention and produce lots of noise.To solve these problems,we propose a joint model based on semi-automated model and End-to-End neural network to automatically generate questions.The semi-automated model can generate question templates and real questions combining the knowledge base and center graph.The End-to-End neural network directly sends the knowledge base and real questions to BiLSTM network.Meanwhile,the attention mechanism is utilized in the decoding layer,which makes the triples and generated questions more relevant.Finally,the experimental results on SimpleQuestions demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

The mechanism of induction of the fatigue sensation following viral infection has not been well understood. Purpose, The present article was built on the assumption that the form of an examination may influence learning, and may also reflect different kinds of knowledge. The aim of the study was to evaluate whether the results of an examination differ when short answer questions (SAQ) or modified essay questions (MEQ) are used. Method, Forty-nine students in the internal medicine course in Gothenburg, Sweden, performed a written examination in 2003, which included both SAQ and MEQ. Result, The correlation between the results of SAQ and MEQ was 0.59 (P < 0.001). The percentage correctly answered questions in the two types did not differ significantly. Some students had poor results in either SAQ or MEQ. Conclusion, The general outcome of the study indicates that results of SAQ and MEQ demonstrate a significant correlation. However, they may also reflect differences in mastery of the knowledge domain, which should be considered in relation to aspects of 展开更多
