Climate change and human activities on runoff in northern Shaanxi:Based on Budyko framework analysis

Studying runoff characteristics and quantifying human activities’impact on northern Shaanxi,a crucial mineral resource area in China,is crucial to alleviate water resource contradictions.In this study,hydrological element trends were analyzed using theβ-z-h three-parameter indication method.The Mann-Kendall,Pettitt,moving T,and Yamamoto methods were used to test the mutation point of hydrological elements.The Budyko framework was used to quantitatively assess the impacts of climate change and multiple human activities on runoff reduction.The results showed that(1):Precipitation(PRE),potential evapotranspiration(E0),and temperature(TEM)showed increasing trends;runoff in the Huangfuchuan,Gushanchuan,Kuye River,Tuwei River,Wuding River,Qingjian River,and Yanhe River catchments showed decreasing trends(HFC,GSC,KYR,TWR,WDR,QJR,YR);whereas runoff in the Jialu River(JLR)catchment showed a“V-shaped”trend from 1980 to2020.(2)Runoff was positively correlated with PRE and negatively correlated with E0and the subsurface index(n),with the elasticity coefficients of PRE,E0,and n showing an increasing trend in the change period.(3)Human activities were a key factor in runoff reduction,although the impact of different human activities showed spatial variations.This study provides a scientific foundation for achieving the sustainable development of water resources in mining areas. 展开更多

Sensitive fluorescence detection of baicalin in biological samples using Eu^(3+)-based metal-organic frameworks

Baicalin,a major flavonoid compound found in Scutellariae radix,is the first SARS-CoV-23CLpro virus inhibitor.Therefore,developing an accurate and reliable strategy to detect baicalin in biological systems is vital.Herein,we report the first indolyl-lanthanide metal-organic framework(MOF)materials and their application as baicalin sensors.The results of this study indicate that the new crystal structure has good stability and luminous performance.The detection limits of baicalin in serum and urine are 0.05 and 0.04μmol/L,respectively,suggesting high sensitivity and selectivity.Various background substances present in practical samples,such as anions,cations,and amino acids,do not interfere with the photoluminescence analytical signal of Eu^(3+).We identified that the quenching of the Eu-MOF is due to the inner filter effect,absorption energy competition,and photoinduced electron transfer among the baicalin,ligand,and MOF through powder X-ray diffraction analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,luminescence lifetimes,ultraviolet studies,and computational analysis.Thus,we designed a convenient,sensitive,and facile detection method using the Eu-MOF and demonstrate that Eu^(3+)-based materials are promising sensors for baicalin detection in actual serum and urine.Additionally,the prepared Eu-MOF@polyvinyl alcohol composite matrix membrane test film has considerable practical application value for the portable detection of baicalin. 展开更多

数字技术特别是人工智能技术正在改变工业时代的教育形态,催生新的数字教育形态,然而相关理论阐释却相对滞后。基于形态学分析方法,文章界定了数字教育形态的概念,构建了包含结构、功能和演化的三维分析框架。之后,文章从结构维度分析... 数字技术特别是人工智能技术正在改变工业时代的教育形态,催生新的数字教育形态,然而相关理论阐释却相对滞后。基于形态学分析方法,文章界定了数字教育形态的概念,构建了包含结构、功能和演化的三维分析框架。之后,文章从结构维度分析数字教育形态的构成要素与形态特征,从功能维度分析其功能及价值实现,从演化维度分析其演化过程及影响因素。结果表明:依据数字技术是否影响数字教育形态的基本结构或典型功能而非技术的不同进行分类,可以揭示不同形态类别之间的实质性差异,为构建数字教育形态谱系奠定基础;通过分析数字教育形态的功能给教育带来的正负效应,不仅能理解其价值取向,还有助于制定形态判别的标准;基于数字技术对教育形态结构和功能演化的影响分析,可以区分数字教育形态的渐进性变异和突破性变异、构想形态和现实形态,由此预判未来发展走向,识别促进预期形态实现的关键条件。上述研究将有助于对数字教育形态相关概念及研究进行梳理、对数字教育形态从构想到现实的演化过程进行研究,以及采用更为综合的视角对数字时代教育面临的新问题、新挑战进行研究。 展开更多

我国农业绿色全要素生产率提升组态路径研究

It is well known that the Two-step Weighted Least-Squares(TWLS) is a widely used method for source localization and sensor position refinement. For this reason, we propose a unified framework of the TWLS method for joint estimation of multiple disjoint sources and sensor locations in this paper. Unlike some existing works, the presented method is based on more general measurement model, and therefore it can be applied to many different localization scenarios.Besides, it does not have the initialization and local convergence problem. The closed-form expression for the covariance matrix of the proposed TWLS estimator is also derived by exploiting the first-order perturbation analysis. Moreover, the estimation accuracy of the TWLS method is shown analytically to achieve the Cramér-Rao Bound(CRB) before the threshold effect takes place. The theoretical analysis is also performed in a common mathematical framework, rather than aiming at some specific signal metrics. Finally, two numerical experiments are performed to support the theoretical development in this paper. 展开更多

Owing to frequent environmental monitoring of tetrabromobisphenol-A(TBBPA)analogs and their potential ecotoxicological effects on organisms,analysis of trace levels of TBBPA analogs with more non-polar and less water-soluble characteristics is of great significance for studying their environmental behaviors and toxic effects.Herein,a fast and sensitive technique is developed for directly detecting aqueous TBBPA analogs,including TBBPA mono(allyl ether)(TBBPA-MAE),TBBPA mono(2,3-dibromopropyl ether)(TBBPAMDBPE),TBBPA mono(2-hydroxyethyl ether)(TBBPA-MHEE)and TBBPA mono(glycidyl ether)(TBBPAMGE),by combining solid phase microextraction(SPME)based on porous covalent organic frameworks(Porous-COFs)with constant flow desorption ionization-mass spectrometry(CFDI-MS).As chromatographic separation is replaced by constant flow desorption,each sample can be analyzed within 7 min.The hierarchical porous structures(microporous,mesoporous and macroporous)of COFs lead to the enhanced mass transfer and the easier accessibility of active sites to TBBPA analogs,so that the extraction efficiency is 2.3-3.6 times higher than pure microporous COFs,and far superior to commercial coatings.The detection limit and quantification limit of this method are 0.1-1 and 0.4-3.2 ng/L,respectively.Ultratrace levels of TBBPA analogs from 5.0 ng/L to 66 ng/L have been successfully detected in river and sea water samples,showing great potential for subsequent studies of their environmental behaviors and toxicological effects. 展开更多

Firstly,a total of 357 Chinese men were selected to make a dataset. Secondly, the experiences of these data were not accumulated to build general models. Five body angles were extracted as independent variables. Four clusters were the most efficient cluster number for our study. Finally,the accuracy of body classifications is compared between KNN and MSVM. In this study,the body classification framework was studied to transfer the body feature data to intuitive types. Moreover,the adaptive made-tomeasure( MTM) framework based on body classification was studied. The case demonstration and analysis show the effectiveness of the study. 展开更多

Interfacial engineering to alter the configuration of active sites in heterogeneous catalysts is a potential strategy for activity enhancement,but it remains unelucidated for metal-organic frameworks(MOFs).Here,we demonstrate that the surface of two-dimensional Co-based MOF is modified by decorating Ag quantum dots(QDs)simply through in-situ reduction of Ag+ions.Toward oxygen evolution reaction(OER),it reveals that the catalysis is mediated by the reversible redox of Co sites between Co^(3+) and Co^(4+) states coupling with transfer of OHions.The decoration of Ag QDs decreases the redox potential of Co sites,and thus effectively decreases the overpotential of OER.The TOFs of Co sites are increased by 77 times to reach 5.4 s^(-1) at an overpotential of 0.35 V.We attribute the activity enhancement to the tuning of the coupling process between Co sites and OHions during the redox of Co sites by Ag QDs decoration based on Pourbaix analysis. 展开更多

In several fields like financial dealing,industry,business,medicine,et cetera,Big Data(BD)has been utilized extensively,which is nothing but a collection of a huge amount of data.However,it is highly complicated along with time-consuming to process a massive amount of data.Thus,to design the Distribution Preserving Framework for BD,a novel methodology has been proposed utilizing Manhattan Distance(MD)-centered Partition Around Medoid(MD–PAM)along with Conjugate Gradient Artificial Neural Network(CG-ANN),which undergoes various steps to reduce the complications of BD.Firstly,the data are processed in the pre-processing phase by mitigating the data repetition utilizing the map-reduce function;subsequently,the missing data are handled by substituting or by ignoring the missed values.After that,the data are transmuted into a normalized form.Next,to enhance the classification performance,the data’s dimensionalities are minimized by employing Gaussian Kernel(GK)-Fisher Discriminant Analysis(GK-FDA).Afterwards,the processed data is submitted to the partitioning phase after transmuting it into a structured format.In the partition phase,by utilizing the MD-PAM,the data are partitioned along with grouped into a cluster.Lastly,by employing CG-ANN,the data are classified in the classification phase so that the needed data can be effortlessly retrieved by the user.To analogize the outcomes of the CG-ANN with the prevailing methodologies,the NSL-KDD openly accessible datasets are utilized.The experiential outcomes displayed that an efficient result along with a reduced computation cost was shown by the proposed CG-ANN.The proposed work outperforms well in terms of accuracy,sensitivity and specificity than the existing systems. 展开更多

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems have become an important tool for fine-resolution mapping and other remote sensing operations. The multi-channel SAR ground moving-target indication (GMTI) must process its data to produce not only the image of surveillance area but also the information of the ground moving-targets. The topic of moving-target detection in clutter has been extensively studied, and there are many methods that are used to detect moving targets, such as displaced phase center antenna (DPCA) method, along-track interfero-metric (ATI) phase, space-time adaptive processing (STAP), or some other metrics. A canonical framework is proposed that encompasses all the multi-channel SAR-GMT methods, namely, DPCA and ATI. The statistical test metric for multi-channel SAR-GMTI is established in a simple form, via the definition of the complex central Wishart distribution, to deduce the statistics of the test metric, and the probability distribution of the test metric for multichannel SAR-GMTI has the complex central Wishart distribution of 1×1 case, namely the X^2 distribution. The theory foundation offers the possibility to construct the united multi-channel SAR-GMTI detector, and derives the constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detector tests for separating moving targets from clutter. 展开更多

Systematic Security Guideline Framework through Intelligently Automated Vulnerability Analysis

This research aims to propose a practical framework designed for the automatic analysis of a product’s comprehensive functionality and security vulnerabilities,generating applicable guidelines based on real-world software.The existing analysis of software security vulnerabilities often focuses on specific features or modules.This partial and arbitrary analysis of the security vulnerabilities makes it challenging to comprehend the overall security vulnerabilities of the software.The key novelty lies in overcoming the constraints of partial approaches.The proposed framework utilizes data from various sources to create a comprehensive functionality profile,facilitating the derivation of real-world security guidelines.Security guidelines are dynamically generated by associating functional security vulnerabilities with the latest Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure(CVE)and Common Vulnerability Scoring System(CVSS)scores,resulting in automated guidelines tailored to each product.These guidelines are not only practical but also applicable in real-world software,allowing for prioritized security responses.The proposed framework is applied to virtual private network(VPN)software,wherein a validated Level 2 data flow diagram is generated using the Spoofing,Tampering,Repudiation,Information Disclosure,Denial of Service,and Elevation of privilege(STRIDE)technique with references to various papers and examples from related software.The analysis resulted in the identification of a total of 121 vulnerabilities.The successful implementation and validation demonstrate the framework’s efficacy in generating customized guidelines for entire systems,subsystems,and selected modules. 展开更多

This paper explores the contribution of teamwork skills in serious adverse events, using the TeamSTEPPS<sup>&reg;</sup> framework. Adverse events are the undesirable events that are not due to the natural course of a disease;they are considered serious when they prolong a hospital stay, lead to a physical disability or to death. Failures in teamwork, particularly with interprofessional teams, can lead to potential risks to patient safety. Using a dataset of de-identified reports of serious adverse events in 2016 in a tertiary teaching hospital, we explored the contribution of teamwork skills according to the TeamSTEPPS<sup>&reg;</sup> framework to these adverse events. We found that 61% of the 41 analyzed events involved failures in teamwork skills, with 80% of these involving communication, 52% in situation monitoring and team structure, 44% in mutual support and 40% in leadership. Sixty-four percent of the events involved more than one teamwork component. Our findings emphasize the need to improve teamwork training in healthcare, focusing not only on communication, but also on other teamwork skills as they often contribute together in adverse events. Future analyses of serious adverse events should include a focus on teamwork competencies, to guide the development of future quality and safety training programs. 展开更多

Purpose:This paper reports on a scientometric analysis bolstered by human-in-the-loop,domain experts,to examine the field of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)research.Scientometric analyses reveal the intellectual landscape of a field.The study engaged MOF scientists in the design and review of our research workflow.MOF materials are an essential component in next-generation renewable energy storage and biomedical technologies.The research approach demonstrates how engaging experts,via human-in-the-loop processes,can help develop a comprehensive view of a field’s research trends,influential works,and specialized topics.Design/methodology/approach:Ascientometric analysis was conducted,integrating natural language processing(NLP),topic modeling,and network analysis methods.The analytical approach was enhanced through a human-in-the-loop iterative process involving MOF research scientists at selected intervals.MOF researcher feedback was incorporated into our method.The data sample included 65,209 MOF research articles.Python3 and software tool VOSviewer were used to perform the analysis.Findings:The findings demonstrate the value of including domain experts in research workflows,refinement,and interpretation of results.At each stage of the analysis,the MOF researchers contributed to interpreting the results and method refinements targeting our focus Research evolution of metal organic frameworks:A scientometric approach with human-in-the-loop on MOF research.This study identified influential works and their themes.Our findings also underscore four main MOF research directions and applications.Research limitations:This study is limited by the sample(articles identified and referenced by the Cambridge Structural Database)that informed our analysis.Practical implications:Our findings contribute to addressing the current gap in fully mapping out the comprehensive landscape of MOF research.Additionally,the results will help domain scientists target future research directions.Originality/value:To the best of our knowledge,the number of publications collected for analysis exceeds those of previous studies.This enabled us to explore a more extensive body of MOF research compared to previous studies.Another contribution of our work is the iterative engagement of domain scientists,who brought in-depth,expert interpretation to the data analysis,helping hone the study. 展开更多

The co-rotational finite element formulation is an attractive technique extending the capabilities of an existing high performing linear element to geometrically nonlinear analysis.This paper presents a modified co-rotational framework,unified for beam,shell,and brick elements.A unified zero-spin criterion is proposed to specify the local element frame,whose origin is always located at the centroid.Utilizing this criterion,a spin matrix is introduced,and the local frame is invariant to the element nodal ordering.Additionally,the projector matrix is redefined in a more intuitive way,which is the derivative of local co-rotational element frame with respect to the global one.Furthermore,the nodal rotation is obtained with pseudo vector and instantaneous rotation,under a high-order accurate transformation.The resulting formulations are achieved in unified expression and thus a series of linear elements can be embedded into the framework.Several examples are presented to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed framework for large displacement analysis. 展开更多

Security breaches can seriously harm the Internet of Things(IoT)and Industrial IoT(IIoT)environments.The damage can exceedfinancial and material losses to threaten human lives.Overcoming these security risks is challenging given IoT ubiquity,complexity,and restricted resources.Security intrusion man-agement is a cornerstone in fortifying the defensive security process.This paper presents an integrated multilayered framework facilitating the orchestration of the security intrusion management process and developing security decision support systems.The proposed framework incorporates four layers with four dedicated processing phases.This paper focuses mainly on the analytical layer.We present the architecture and models for predictive intrusion analytics for reactive and proactive defense strategies.We differentiate between the device and network levels to master the complexity of IoT infrastructure.Benefiting from the singu-larity of IIoT devices traffic,we approach the reactive security intrusion predic-tion through outlier detection models mean.We thoroughly experiment with ten outlier detection models on the IIoT wustl realistic dataset.The obtained results show the adequacy of the approach with an area under the curve(AUC)results surpassing 98%for several models with a good level of precision and time effi-ciency.Furthermore,we investigate the use of survival analysis semi-parametric predictive models to forecast the security intrusion before its occurrence for the proactive security strategy.The experiments show encouraging results with a con-cordance index(c-Index)reaching 89%and an integrated brier score(IBS)of 0.02.By integrating outlier intrusion detection and survival forecasting,the fra-mework provides a valuable means to monitor the security intrusions in IoT. 展开更多
