The flood center shifted from North China and the Yangtze-Huaihe basin in the 1950s towards the south, north and west of China, and located in the south of the Yangtze River and South China after the 1990s. The FA in the western provinces was continuously on the rise since the 1950s. There are two characteristics for the future flood pattem in China. The pattern of "flood in the south and drought in the north" depends on the north-south shift of the maximum rainfall region in eastern China. The flood intensification to the west of Hu Huanyong's line mainly results from the increase of rainfall, extreme precipitation and the melting of glaciers under the background of human activity magnification.展开更多

Water flooding experiments of five-spot well pattern, nine-spot well pattern, five-spot to nine-spot well pattern, the relationship between relative well and fracture positions, and injection rate in dissolution vug-cave reservoirs with/without fractures were carried out to analyze variation regularities of development indexes, find out development characteristics of water flooding with different well patterns and sort out the optimal water flooding development mode. For dissolution vug-cave reservoirs without fractures, five-spot well pattern waterflooding has very small sweeping area, serious water channeling and low oil recovery. When the well pattern was adjusted from five-spot to nine-spot well pattern, oil recovery could be largely improved, but the corner well far from the injector is little affected. In dissolution vug-cave reservoirs with fractures, when the injector and producer are not connected by fractures, the fractures could effectively connect the poorly linked vugs to improve the development effect of water flooding. Whether there are fractures or not in dissolution vug-cave reservoirs, the development effect of nine-spot well-pattern is much better than that of five-spot well pattern and five-spot to nine-spot well pattern, this is more evident when there are fractures, and the edge well has better development indexes than corner well. At the high-water cut stage of water flooding with nine-spot well pattern, the oil recovery can be further improved with staggered line-drive pattern by converting the corner well into injection well. It is helpful to increase the oil production of corner well of nine-spot well pattern by increasing the injection rate, and improve ultimate oil recovery, but the water-free production period would be greatly shortened and water-free recovery would decrease.展开更多

A revised approach enabling an automatic extraction of the wet areas to create more accurate and detailed Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) is here presented. LiDAR-derived elevations of dry surfaces, water depths of wetted areas derived from aerial photos and a predictive depth-colour relationship were adopted. This methodology was applied at two different reaches of a northeastern Italian gravel-bed river (Tagliamento) before and after two flood events occurred in November and December 2010. In-channel dGPS survey points were performed taking different depth levels and different colour scales of the river bed. More than 10,473 control points were acquired, 1107 in 2010 and 9366 in 2011 respectively. A regression model that calculates channel depths using the correct intensity of three colour bands (RGB) was implemented. LiDAR and water depth points were merged and interpolated into DTMs which features an average error, for the wet areas, of ±14 cm. The different number of calibration points obtained for 2010 and 2011 showed that the bathymetric error is also sensitive to the number of acquired calibration points. The morphological evolution calculated through a difference of DTMs shows a prevalence of deposition and erosion areas into the wet areas.展开更多
