Efficient implementation of fundamental matrix operations on quantum computers,such as matrix products and Hadamard operations,holds significant potential for accelerating machine learning algorithms.A critical prereq...Efficient implementation of fundamental matrix operations on quantum computers,such as matrix products and Hadamard operations,holds significant potential for accelerating machine learning algorithms.A critical prerequisite for quantum implementations is the effective encoding of classical data into quantum states.We propose two quantum computing frameworks for preparing the distinct encoded states corresponding to matrix operations,including the matrix product,matrix sum,matrix Hadamard product and division.Quantum algorithms based on the digital encoding computing framework are capable of implementing the matrix Hadamard operation with a time complexity of O(poly log(mn/ε))and the matrix product with a time complexity of O(poly log(mnl/ε)),achieving an exponential speedup in contrast to the classical methods of O(mn)and O(mnl).Quantum algorithms based on the analog-encoding framework are capable of implementing the matrix Hadamard operation with a time complexity of O(k_(1)√mn·poly log(mn/ε))and the matrix product with a time complexity of O(k_(2)√1·poly log(mnl/ε)),where k_(1)and k_(2)are coefficients correlated with the elements of the matrix,achieving a square speedup in contrast to the classical counterparts.As applications,we construct an oracle that can access the trace of a matrix within logarithmic time,and propose several algorithms to respectively estimate the trace of a matrix,the trace of the product of two matrices,and the trace inner product of two matrices within logarithmic time.展开更多

This recognition involves understanding short-...Accurate recognition of flight deck operations for carrier-based aircraft, based on operation trajectories, is critical for optimizing carrier-based aircraft performance. This recognition involves understanding short-term and long-term spatial collaborative relationships among support agents and positions from long spatial–temporal trajectories. While the existing methods excel at recognizing collaborative behaviors from short trajectories, they often struggle with long spatial–temporal trajectories. To address this challenge, this paper introduces a dynamic graph method to enhance flight deck operation recognition. First, spatial–temporal collaborative relationships are modeled as a dynamic graph. Second, a discretized and compressed method is proposed to assign values to the states of this dynamic graph. To extract features that represent diverse collaborative relationships among agents and account for the duration of these relationships, a biased random walk is then conducted. Subsequently, the Swin Transformer is employed to comprehend spatial–temporal collaborative relationships, and a fully connected layer is applied to deck operation recognition. Finally, to address the scarcity of real datasets, a simulation pipeline is introduced to generate deck operations in virtual flight deck scenarios. Experimental results on the simulation dataset demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method.展开更多

This paper solves the problem of model-free dual-arm space robot maneuvering after non-cooperative target capture under high control quality requirements.The explicit system model is unavailable,and the maneuvering mi...This paper solves the problem of model-free dual-arm space robot maneuvering after non-cooperative target capture under high control quality requirements.The explicit system model is unavailable,and the maneuvering mission is disturbed by the measurement noise and the target adversarial behavior.To address these problems,a model-free Combined Adaptive-length Datadriven Predictive Controller(CADPC)is proposed.It consists of a separated subsystem identification method and a combined predictive control strategy.The subsystem identification method is composed of an adaptive data length,thereby reducing sensitivity to undetermined measurement noises and disturbances.Based on the subsystem identification,the combined predictive controller is established,reducing calculating resource.The stability of the CADPC is rigorously proven using the Input-to-State Stable(ISS)theorem and the small-gain theorem.Simulations demonstrate that CADPC effectively handles the model-free space robot post operation in the presence of significant disturbances,state measurement noise,and control input errors.It achieves improved steady-state accuracy,reduced steady-state control consumption,and minimized control input chattering.展开更多

Dual-polarization(dual-pol)radar variables provide information about the quantity,type,size,and water content of hydrometeors.Assimilating these dual-pol radar variables into numerical weather prediction models can en...Dual-polarization(dual-pol)radar variables provide information about the quantity,type,size,and water content of hydrometeors.Assimilating these dual-pol radar variables into numerical weather prediction models can enhance forecast accuracy.Observation operators are essential for radar data assimilation.This study focuses on applying a realistic dual-pol radar observation operator to more accurately calculate dual-pol radar variables.Previously reported dual-pol radar observation operators tended to overestimate radar variables near 0℃ in convective precipitation and simulate unrealistic dual-pol radar variables in subfreezing regions.To address this,the improved operator(KNU dual-pol radar observation operator;K-DROP)limits the distribution of mixed-phase hydrometeors,which have both solid and liquid properties,in areas with strong updrafts and downdrafts,improving the overestimation of radar variables near the melting layer.Additionally,by applying the observed snow axis ratio during winter to K-DROP,the issue of differential reflectivity(Z_(DR))being calculated as a constant value in subfreezing regions has been improved.By incorporating the observed maximum radius of hydrometeors into K-DROP,the overestimation of reflectivity(Z_(H))in subfreezing regions,the overestimation of Z_(DR)in warm regions,and the underestimation of specific differential phase(K_(DP))in subfreezing regions and overestimation in warm regions,are improved.Compared to previous operators,the enhanced version reported in the present work produces more realistic dual-pol radar variables.展开更多
Offshore support operations must balance safety and sustainability under highly variable sea conditions.Deterministic motion analyses can underestimate extreme vessel responses,leading to insufficient operational limi...Offshore support operations must balance safety and sustainability under highly variable sea conditions.Deterministic motion analyses can underestimate extreme vessel responses,leading to insufficient operational limits and increased environmental impact.We develop a fuzzy‐enhanced multi‐body dynamics framework in which key inputs significant wave height,peak period,added mass,and radiation damping are represented as fuzzy numbers.Anα-cut decomposition yields interval bounds at each confidence level,and a fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme integrates the six-degree-of-freedom equations of motion for both lower and upper“vertex”systems.A case study off the Karnataka coast applies both full 6-DoF and single-DOF heave approximations to demonstrate methodology.The heave response envelopes under calm(nominalα=1:0.73 m;full range atα=0:0.64–1.64 m)and severe(nominal 1.58 m;range 1.32–2.36 m)sea states reveal potential underestimations of 124%and 49%,respectively,when using only nominal values.By selecting an operationalα-level(e.g.,α^(*)=0.35 to cap heave≤1.8 m),decision-makers can balance risk tolerance and conservatism.Sensitivity analysis identifies significant wave height as the dominant uncertainty driver.Computational trade-offs and adaptiveα-sampling strategies are discussed.This work provides a self-contained,uncertainty-aware tool for deriving operational envelopes that improve risk-informed planning and enable fuel-efficiency optimization.By embedding fuzzy uncertainty quantification into vessel dynamics,the methodology supports safer,more sustainable marine operations and can be extended to real-time sensor fusion,multi-vessel interactions,and frequency-dependent hydrodynamics.展开更多

Aircraft assembly is characterized by stringent precedence constraints,limited resource availability,spatial restrictions,and a high degree of manual intervention.These factors lead to considerable variability in oper...Aircraft assembly is characterized by stringent precedence constraints,limited resource availability,spatial restrictions,and a high degree of manual intervention.These factors lead to considerable variability in operator workloads and significantly increase the complexity of scheduling.To address this challenge,this study investigates the Aircraft Pulsating Assembly Line Scheduling Problem(APALSP)under skilled operator allocation,with the objective of minimizing assembly completion time.A mathematical model considering skilled operator allocation is developed,and a Q-Learning improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(QLPSO)is proposed.In the algorithm design,a reverse scheduling strategy is adopted to effectively manage large-scale precedence constraints.Moreover,a reverse sequence encoding method is introduced to generate operation sequences,while a time decoding mechanism is employed to determine completion times.The problem is further reformulated as a Markov Decision Process(MDP)with explicitly defined state and action spaces.Within QLPSO,the Q-learning mechanism adaptively adjusts inertia weights and learning factors,thereby achieving a balance between exploration capability and convergence performance.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,extensive computational experiments are conducted on benchmark instances of different scales,including small,medium,large,and ultra-large cases.The results demonstrate that QLPSO consistently delivers stable and high-quality solutions across all scenarios.In ultra-large-scale instances,it improves the best solution by 25.2%compared with the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and enhances the average solution by 16.9%over the Q-learning algorithm,showing clear advantages over the comparative methods.These findings not only confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm but also provide valuable theoretical references and practical guidance for the intelligent scheduling optimization of aircraft pulsating assembly lines.展开更多

文摘Our concern is to investigate controlled remote implementation of partially unknown operations with multiple layers.We first propose a scheme to realize the remote implementation of singlequbit operations belonging to the restricted sets.Then,the proposed scheme is extended to the case of single-qudit operations.As long as the controller and the higher-layer senders consent,the receiver can restore the desired state remotely operated by the sender.It is worth mentioning that the recovery operation is deduced by general formulas which clearly reveal the relationship with the measurement outcomes.For the sake of clarity,two specific examples with two levels are given respectively.In addition,we discuss the influence of amplitude-damping noise and utilize weak measurement and measurement reversal to effectively resist noise.
文摘Digital twin shows broad application prospects in the aerospace field.This paper introduces a generalized satellite digital twin system in detail.With the innovative design concepts of modularization,generalization and modeling,on the one hand,the system has successfully achieved the reuse of software modules among different satellite models;on the other hand,it has achieved the reuse of software modules between the digital twin and the testing system,significantly improving the development efficiency of the digital twin system.The paper elaborates on the technical architecture and application fields of this digital twin system,and further prospects its future development.At the same time,through a real inorbit case,the engineering value of the digital twin system is strongly demonstrated.
文摘The global public HPC(high-power charging)network for EVs(electric vehicles)is rapidly expanding.This growth is crucial for supporting the increasing adoption of EVs but highlights the industry’s early stage.Regional maturity varies,with China leading due to strong government support,followed by Europe and the United States.A significant challenge is the lack of industry standards,causing inconsistencies in charger types and payment systems.Efforts are underway,to ensure interoperability and reliability.Interoperability is crucial for the success of EV HPC infrastructure,ensuring seamless integration among charge points,management systems,and service providers.Despite the use of protocols like the OCPP(Open Charge Point Protocol),variations in implementation create complexities.Ensuring uniform standards across the ecosystem is essential for reliability and efficiency.Vendor-specific error codes,which are more detailed than standardized codes,are vital for diagnosing issues but lack standardization,adding complexity.Addressing these challenges is key to supporting widespread EV adoption and enhancing user experience.To provide a compelling driver value proposition,EV charging services must be reliable and seamless.The operations and maintenance of the HPC network must be cost-effective and leverage the intelligence of the integrated ecosystem.The technical complexity of managing high-power DC charging,combined with diverse authentication and payment systems,results in numerous potential issues.Moving from reactive to predictive maintenance is essential for undisrupted operations and a smooth driver experience.Shell’s Intelligent Operations Technology Strategy incorporates GenAI elements in its advanced analytics and operational performance management tools.By ingesting big data from multiple sources across the EV ecosystem,Shell engineers can perform detailed pattern recognition and targeted troubleshooting.Monitoring,configurable alerting,and remote fixing based on auto-healing and targeted auto-allocation enhance charger availability and reduce downtime.This automation has evolved Shell’s maintenance and operations strategy from reactive to predictive,improving overall charger performance and user satisfaction.Key achievements include transitioning to prescriptive and preventive asset management approaches,significantly improving uptime and charging experience,and increasing commercial value through cost reduction and enhanced revenue.Future challenges include evolving OCPP,integrating data from non-OCPP systems,and ensuring interoperability across diverse systems.Standardization and cross-collaboration within the industry are essential for smooth interoperability,higher uptime,and increased CSR(charging success rate).Technological innovations will further shape the industry,promoting stabilization and efficiency as it matures.

文摘This paper solves the problem of model-free dual-arm space robot maneuvering after non-cooperative target capture under high control quality requirements.The explicit system model is unavailable,and the maneuvering mission is disturbed by the measurement noise and the target adversarial behavior.To address these problems,a model-free Combined Adaptive-length Datadriven Predictive Controller(CADPC)is proposed.It consists of a separated subsystem identification method and a combined predictive control strategy.The subsystem identification method is composed of an adaptive data length,thereby reducing sensitivity to undetermined measurement noises and disturbances.Based on the subsystem identification,the combined predictive controller is established,reducing calculating resource.The stability of the CADPC is rigorously proven using the Input-to-State Stable(ISS)theorem and the small-gain theorem.Simulations demonstrate that CADPC effectively handles the model-free space robot post operation in the presence of significant disturbances,state measurement noise,and control input errors.It achieves improved steady-state accuracy,reduced steady-state control consumption,and minimized control input chattering.

文摘This paper studies cooperative robust parallel operation of multiple actuators over an undirected communication graph.The plant is modeled as an uncertain linear system,and the actuators are linear and identical.Based on the internal model principle,a distributed dynamic output feedback control law is proposed to achieve both robust output regulation of the closed-loop system and plant input sharing among the actuators.A practical example of five motors cooperatively driving an uncertain shaft under an external load torque is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed control law.

文摘Digital twin technology brings more opportunities and challenges to chemical engineering in both academic and industry.A complex process could have multiple digitalization needs,including simulation,monitoring,operator training,etc.;thus,a hierarchical digital twin would be a comprehensive solution to that.In this study,a novel and general framework of the digital twin is proposed for operations in process industry.With the hierarchical structure,the framework can handle various tasks driven by different roles in process industry,including managers,engineers,and operators.To complete these tasks,the framework consists of three modules:OAS(Operation Analysis System),OMS(Operation Monitoring System),and OTS(Operator Training System).Each module focuses on one unique type of demand from the staff,as well as interactions among them enabling efficient data sharing.Based on the hierarchical framework,a digital twin system is applied for one complex industrial nitration process,which successfully enhances the operation efficiency and safety in several industrial scenarios with different demands.

文摘Dual-polarization(dual-pol)radar variables provide information about the quantity,type,size,and water content of hydrometeors.Assimilating these dual-pol radar variables into numerical weather prediction models can enhance forecast accuracy.Observation operators are essential for radar data assimilation.This study focuses on applying a realistic dual-pol radar observation operator to more accurately calculate dual-pol radar variables.Previously reported dual-pol radar observation operators tended to overestimate radar variables near 0℃ in convective precipitation and simulate unrealistic dual-pol radar variables in subfreezing regions.To address this,the improved operator(KNU dual-pol radar observation operator;K-DROP)limits the distribution of mixed-phase hydrometeors,which have both solid and liquid properties,in areas with strong updrafts and downdrafts,improving the overestimation of radar variables near the melting layer.Additionally,by applying the observed snow axis ratio during winter to K-DROP,the issue of differential reflectivity(Z_(DR))being calculated as a constant value in subfreezing regions has been improved.By incorporating the observed maximum radius of hydrometeors into K-DROP,the overestimation of reflectivity(Z_(H))in subfreezing regions,the overestimation of Z_(DR)in warm regions,and the underestimation of specific differential phase(K_(DP))in subfreezing regions and overestimation in warm regions,are improved.Compared to previous operators,the enhanced version reported in the present work produces more realistic dual-pol radar variables.
文摘Offshore support operations must balance safety and sustainability under highly variable sea conditions.Deterministic motion analyses can underestimate extreme vessel responses,leading to insufficient operational limits and increased environmental impact.We develop a fuzzy‐enhanced multi‐body dynamics framework in which key inputs significant wave height,peak period,added mass,and radiation damping are represented as fuzzy numbers.Anα-cut decomposition yields interval bounds at each confidence level,and a fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme integrates the six-degree-of-freedom equations of motion for both lower and upper“vertex”systems.A case study off the Karnataka coast applies both full 6-DoF and single-DOF heave approximations to demonstrate methodology.The heave response envelopes under calm(nominalα=1:0.73 m;full range atα=0:0.64–1.64 m)and severe(nominal 1.58 m;range 1.32–2.36 m)sea states reveal potential underestimations of 124%and 49%,respectively,when using only nominal values.By selecting an operationalα-level(e.g.,α^(*)=0.35 to cap heave≤1.8 m),decision-makers can balance risk tolerance and conservatism.Sensitivity analysis identifies significant wave height as the dominant uncertainty driver.Computational trade-offs and adaptiveα-sampling strategies are discussed.This work provides a self-contained,uncertainty-aware tool for deriving operational envelopes that improve risk-informed planning and enable fuel-efficiency optimization.By embedding fuzzy uncertainty quantification into vessel dynamics,the methodology supports safer,more sustainable marine operations and can be extended to real-time sensor fusion,multi-vessel interactions,and frequency-dependent hydrodynamics.

文摘Aircraft assembly is characterized by stringent precedence constraints,limited resource availability,spatial restrictions,and a high degree of manual intervention.These factors lead to considerable variability in operator workloads and significantly increase the complexity of scheduling.To address this challenge,this study investigates the Aircraft Pulsating Assembly Line Scheduling Problem(APALSP)under skilled operator allocation,with the objective of minimizing assembly completion time.A mathematical model considering skilled operator allocation is developed,and a Q-Learning improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(QLPSO)is proposed.In the algorithm design,a reverse scheduling strategy is adopted to effectively manage large-scale precedence constraints.Moreover,a reverse sequence encoding method is introduced to generate operation sequences,while a time decoding mechanism is employed to determine completion times.The problem is further reformulated as a Markov Decision Process(MDP)with explicitly defined state and action spaces.Within QLPSO,the Q-learning mechanism adaptively adjusts inertia weights and learning factors,thereby achieving a balance between exploration capability and convergence performance.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,extensive computational experiments are conducted on benchmark instances of different scales,including small,medium,large,and ultra-large cases.The results demonstrate that QLPSO consistently delivers stable and high-quality solutions across all scenarios.In ultra-large-scale instances,it improves the best solution by 25.2%compared with the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and enhances the average solution by 16.9%over the Q-learning algorithm,showing clear advantages over the comparative methods.These findings not only confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm but also provide valuable theoretical references and practical guidance for the intelligent scheduling optimization of aircraft pulsating assembly lines.
