Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of the internal limiting membrane(ILM)flipping and covering technique in the treatment of patients with high myopic macular hole(HMMH).Methods:One hundred and two patients with ...Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of the internal limiting membrane(ILM)flipping and covering technique in the treatment of patients with high myopic macular hole(HMMH).Methods:One hundred and two patients with HMMH who were admitted to the hospital from June 2019 to June 2024 were selected.The minimum diameter of the macular hole(MH)in all patients was≤500μm.The patients were randomly divided into two groups.The experimental group received 25G pars plana vitrectomy(PPV)combined with ILM flipping and covering technique,while the reference group received PPV combined with ILM peeling.The efficacy indicators and best corrected visual acuity levels were compared between the two groups.Results:The MH closure rate and retinal reattachment rate were higher in the experimental group than in the reference group at 3 and 6 months postoperatively(P<0.05).The best corrected visual acuity level was higher in the experimental group than in the reference group at 3 and 6 months postoperatively(P<0.05).The Chinese version of the Visual Function-Related Quality of Life Questionnaire-25(CVRQOL-25)score was higher in the experimental group than in the reference group at 3 and 6 months postoperatively(P<0.05).No serious complications were observed in both groups postoperatively,and there was no difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The ILM flipping and covering technique can improve the MH closure rate and retinal reattachment rate in patients with HMMH(diameter≤500μm),enhance the best corrected visual acuity level,and improve the quality of life related to visual function,with fewer postoperative complications.展开更多

The significant difference between CFP and T-CFP is that CFP supports only two users while T-CFP can support many users to exchange special information. The synthesis,structure,and properties of pyrene-based conformationally adaptive macrocycles are described.This new type of conformationally adaptive macrocycle was constructed through Perkin reaction,followed by imid...The synthesis,structure,and properties of pyrene-based conformationally adaptive macrocycles are described.This new type of conformationally adaptive macrocycle was constructed through Perkin reaction,followed by imidization.By changing the condensation partner as the linking unit,a family of conjugated macrocycles with different sizes of the cavity was synthesized,which provide a simple and modular synthetic strategy towards the conformationally adaptive macrocycles.Furthermore,the macrocycles provide two well-defined conformations through flipping pyrene subunit,which were unambiguously determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.The conformational interconversion barrier was determined by density functional theory(DFT)calculations.This new macrocycle also demonstrated unique properties,such as vapochromic behavior and aggregation emission enhancement effect.Furthermore,we have also investigated the effect of the linker on the shape and photophysical properties of the resulting macrocyclic products.展开更多
Tabletop integral imaging display with a more realistic and immersive experience has always been a hot spot in three-dimensional imaging technology,widely used in biomedical imaging and visualization to enhance medica...Tabletop integral imaging display with a more realistic and immersive experience has always been a hot spot in three-dimensional imaging technology,widely used in biomedical imaging and visualization to enhance medical diagnosis.However,the traditional structural characteristics of integral imaging display inevitably introduce the flipping effect outside the effective viewing angle.Here,a full-parallax tabletop integral imaging display without the flipping effect based on space-multiplexed voxel screen and compound lens array is demonstrated,and two holographic functional screens with different parameters are optically designed and fabricated.To eliminate the flipping effect in the reconstruction process,the space-multiplexed voxel screen consisting of a projector array and the holographic functional screen is presented to constrain light beams passing through the corresponding lens.To greatly promote imaging quality within the viewing area,the aspherical structure of the compound lens is optimized to balance the aberrations.It cooperates with the holographic functional screen to modulate the light field spatial distribution.Compared with the simulation results,the distortion rate of the imaging display is reduced to less than 9%from more than 30%.In the experiment,the floating high-quality reconstructed three-dimensional image without the flipping effect can be observed with the correct 3D perception at 96°×96°viewing angle,where 44,100 viewpoints are employed.展开更多

Polar codes are considered as one of the most competitive channel coding schemes for the future wireless communication system.To improve the performance of polar codes with short code-length for control channels,a sph...Polar codes are considered as one of the most competitive channel coding schemes for the future wireless communication system.To improve the performance of polar codes with short code-length for control channels,a sphere decoding algorithm based on received value flipping is proposed in this paper.When a codeword fails the cyclic redundancy check,the algorithm flips the received value with low reliability and forms a new received sequence.Then,this new sequence is sent to the decoder for another decoding attempt.In addition,we also compare the performance of different flipping sets and evaluate the influence of the associated flipping set sizes.Simulation results show that,the proposed algorithm can achieve performance improvement over additive white Gaussian noise channel with acceptable complexity.For the(64,16)polar code,the proposed algorithm can achieve about 0.23 dB 10-3performance gain at frame error rate=,compared to the conventional sphere decoding algorithm.Finally,we also verify the applicability of the proposed algorithm over Rayleigh fading channel and observe similar results.展开更多

Here, we fabricate a high-magnetization (〉 1 Tesla) high-resistance (-0.1 Ωcm) sub-nanostructured (grain size 〈 3 nm) Fe304 film via grain-size control and nano-engineering. We report a new phenomenon of spin- flipping of the valence-spin tetrahedral FeB* in the sub-nanostructured Fe304 film, which produces the high magnetization. Using soft X-ray magnetic circular dichroism and soft X-ray absorption, both at the Fe L3,2- and O K-edges, and supported by first-principles and charge-transfer multiple calculations, we observe an anomalous enhancement of double exchange, accompanied by a suppression of the superexchange interactions because of the spin-flipping mechanism via oxygen at the grain boundaries. Our result may open avenues for developing spin- manipulated giant magnetic Fe304-based compounds via nano-grain size control.展开更多
Recently,it was demonstrated that implicit solvent models were capable of generating stable B-form DNA structures.Specifically,generalized Born(GB)implicit solvent models have improved regarding the solvation of confo...Recently,it was demonstrated that implicit solvent models were capable of generating stable B-form DNA structures.Specifically,generalized Born(GB)implicit solvent models have improved regarding the solvation of conformational sampling of DNA[1,2].Here,we examine the performance of the GBSW and GBMV models in CHARMM for characterizing base flipping free energy profiles of undamaged and damaged DNA bases.Umbrella sampling of the base flipping process was performed for the bases cytosine,uracil and xanthine.The umbrella sampling simulations were carried-out with both explicit(TIP3P)and implicit(GB)solvent in order to establish the impact of the solvent model on base flipping.Overall,base flipping potential of mean force(PMF)profiles generated with GB solvent resulted in a greater free energy difference of flipping than profiles generated with TIP3P.One of the significant differences between implicit and explicit solvent models is the approximation of solute-solvent interactions in implicit solvent models.We calculated electrostatic interaction energies between explicit water molecules and the base targeted for flipping.These interaction energies were calculated over the base flipping reaction coordinate to illustrate the stabilizing effect of the explicit water molecules on the flipped-out state.It is known that nucleic base pair hydrogen bonds also influenced the free energy of flipping since these favorable interactions must be broken in order for a base to flip-out of the helix.The Watson-Crick base pair hydrogen bond fractions were calculated over the umbrella sampling simulation windows in order to determine the effect of base pair interactions on the base flipping free energy.It is shown that interaction energies between the flipping base and explicit water molecules are responsible for the lower base flipping free energy difference in the explicit solvent PMF profiles.展开更多

Objective:To explore the application effect of group cooperative learning combined with flipped classroom in standardized training of emergency surgery resident physicians.Methods:95 resident physicians undergoing eme...Objective:To explore the application effect of group cooperative learning combined with flipped classroom in standardized training of emergency surgery resident physicians.Methods:95 resident physicians undergoing emergency surgery standardized training in our hospital were randomly divided into an experimental group(46,group cooperative learning+flipped classroom)and a control group(49,traditional teaching).The training period was 2 months.Results:The graduation assessment scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The improvement in critical thinking ability and self-learning ability was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The response rate of“yes”to all items of course teaching satisfaction was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores for training teachers were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The teaching model of group cooperative learning combined with flipped classroom,through reconstructing the learning process and activating interactive participation,can significantly improve the clinical operation and theoretical foundation of emergency surgery standardized training students.It also cultivates core professional qualities such as critical thinking,self-learning,and team collaboration,providing a feasible paradigm for integrated medical education in this discipline.展开更多

文摘Objective:To explore the application effect of group cooperative learning combined with flipped classroom in standardized training of emergency surgery resident physicians.Methods:95 resident physicians undergoing emergency surgery standardized training in our hospital were randomly divided into an experimental group(46,group cooperative learning+flipped classroom)and a control group(49,traditional teaching).The training period was 2 months.Results:The graduation assessment scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The improvement in critical thinking ability and self-learning ability was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The response rate of“yes”to all items of course teaching satisfaction was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores for training teachers were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The teaching model of group cooperative learning combined with flipped classroom,through reconstructing the learning process and activating interactive participation,can significantly improve the clinical operation and theoretical foundation of emergency surgery standardized training students.It also cultivates core professional qualities such as critical thinking,self-learning,and team collaboration,providing a feasible paradigm for integrated medical education in this discipline.
