The filter can track the target's position and velocity, but not the acceleration. To extend its capability, a new fourth-order target tracker called α-β-γ-δ filter is proposed. The main objective of this study was to find the optimal set of filter parameters that leads to minimum position tracking errors. The tracking errors between using the α-β-γ-δ filter and the α-β-γ-δ filter are compared. To reduce the computational time, a simulation-based optimization technique via Taguchi method is introduced.展开更多

The objective is to design quantized mode-dependent filters to ensure that the filtering error system is not only mean-square finite-time bounded but also has a prescribed finite-time H_(∞) performance. First, the case where the switching modes of the filter align with those of the MJS is considered. A numerically tractable filter design approach is proposed utilizing a mode-dependent Lyapunov function, Schur’s complement, and Dynkin’s formula. Then, the study is extended to a scenario where the switching modes of the filter can differ from those of the MJS. To address this situation, a mode-mismatched filter design approach is developed by leveraging a hidden Markov model to describe the asynchronous mode switching and the double expectation formula. Finally, a spring system model subject to a Markov chain is employed to validate the effectiveness of the quantized filter design approaches.展开更多

Applying these filters to a distribution network, if not properly designed, may have an adverse effect on the network. This paper presents analysis of the effects of using passive harmonic filters in a power distribution networks. The driving point impedance at the node where the filter installed, as a measure of how harmonic currents would produce harmonic voltages, is determined as function of the filter parameters. Hence, effects of filter parameters on the system impedance, parallel resonant frequency and impedance at resonance are illustrated. The effects of using more than one filter are also examined. A method for the optimal design of a passive filter considering the component limits, harmonic distortion limits and parameter tolerances is also presented. The proposed optimization model has proved its effectiveness through application to measurements at a real distribution feeder.展开更多

Fault detection filters are designed such that the augmented systems are stable, and the residual error signal generated by the filters guarantees the H∞ performance for disturbances and faults. Sufficient conditions for the design of fault detection(FD) filters are presented by linear matrix inequalities. Moreover, the filter gains are characterized according to a solution of a convex optimization. Finally, an example derived from a pulse-width-modulation-driven boost converter is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the FD design approach.展开更多

文摘Multi-rotor aircraft has great potential in urban traffic and military use and its noise problem has attracted more attention recently.Multi-rotor aircrafts are typically controlled by changing the rotation speeds of the rotors. To reduce the noise of multiple frequency-modulated rotors,a global noise attenuation method is proposed in this study.First, the fast prediction method is used to estimate the global noise of the multirotor with different configurations online.Meanwhile, the sound field reproduction method is used to obtain the control signal of the loudspeaker array to achieve global noise attenuation. Then, the influence of array arrangement on noise reduction is analyzed in the acoustic modal domain, which reveals that different optimization models are needed to minimize the noise power or/and the noise pressure in some directions when the scale of the array is limited.Next,to improve the real-time performance of the system, the online calculation of the optimal control signal is transformed into the offline design of the optimal filter, which satisfies the target frequency-domain characteristics. Finally, the experimental results of the noise of a model quadrotor in the anechoic chamber were consistent with the predicted results. The simulation results of noise attenuation for the quadrotor show that the method proposed reduced the global noise power by about 13 dB.Moreover, the noise region radiated from the quadrotor to the ground with the boundary of 40 dB was reduced to 8.4%of that before control.

文摘The problem of fault detection for a class of nonlinear impulsive switched systems is investigated in this paper. Finally, an example derived from a pulse-width-modulation-driven boost converter is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the FD design approach.

文摘The repetitive processing and large quantity of single product represented by 3C products are urgently needed. However, for current processing operations, previous processing data have not been used in the optimization of control input. In order to utilize previous processing data to facilitate the next process and avoid adverse effects caused by repetitive disturbance and noise, the idea of iterative learning was introduced to improve the accuracy of machining. On the control level, since it is difficult to obtain high accuracy by traditional feedback control when faced with complex trajectories,an open⁃loop iterative learning controller and a position loop feedback controller were introduced, which worked fast with good convergence effects.Aiming at reducing the influence of accidental error, step type iterative learning was put forward. The iteration mechanism was stopped when the accuracy converged to the allowable range so as to reduce computational complexity, store the current iterative part of the control input, and make constant value compensation. However,in simulation and experiment,it was found that after superposition of the iterative learning controller, the phenomenon of partial divergence of the system tracking error occurred. Therefore, the speed and acceleration characteristics of input trajectories in time domain and frequency domain were analyzed.High⁃frequency noise was introduced in frequency domain, which was found to be the cause of the abovementioned phenomenon, and high⁃frequency components were filtered to solve the problem. To further improve the accuracy of convergence and avoid filtering effective high⁃frequency information in some area,a switchable filter based on the analysis of the frequency characteristics of input trajectory was proposed.Through SIMULINK simulation and dSPACE experimental verification,it was proved that the iterative learning controller of modifying controlled quantity and filter based iterative learning control method are effective.
