Use of scrap iron filings (SIF) as the PRB (Permeable Reactive Barrier) material can be used to recycle certai...Reduction of nitrate by zero-valent iron is a highly exergonic reaction that has long been known to occur. Use of scrap iron filings (SIF) as the PRB (Permeable Reactive Barrier) material can be used to recycle certain by-products, and identify cheaper replacements for expensive conventional PRB materials, especially pure metallic iron. The feasibility of reductive denitrification of nitrate by SIF was studied by batch experiments. Operational parameters such as pH value, SIF dosage and initial concentration of nitrate were investigated. The removal efficiency of nitrate reached 80% under the conditions of pH of 2.5, nitrate initial con- centration of 45 mg/L and SIF dosage of 100 g/L within 4 h. Results indicated that nitrate removal is inversely related to pH. Low pH value condition favors for the nitrate transformation. Different from the results of others who studied nitrate reduction using iron powder, we found that there was a lag time before nitrate reduction occurs, even at low pH. Finally, the possible mechanism of nitrate reduction by Fe0 is discussed.展开更多

It takes into account the results of measur...An experimental study on the thermal properties of iron filings and steel-fiber-reinforced concrete for solar/thermal energy storage application is presented in this report. It takes into account the results of measurements of thermal conductivity, thermal resistivity, thermal diffusivity and the results of compressive strength, density as well as energy storage capacity calculated from the knowledge of the above measured parameters. The experimental testing method is described as well: based upon the linear heat source theory, it requires the use of a special probe to be inserted into the sample. The experimentation was forwarded to test concrete aggregate mixtures with three different sizes and same quantity of steel fibers;two different quantities of iron filings and one plain concrete. The measurements were carried out from the pouring time of cubic samples and were ended up when hardened conditions were achieved. The results indicate that the steel fibers and iron filings have influence on the thermal and mechanical properties of the concretes tested, thus the iron filings and steel fibers reinforced concrete is suitable for better solar/thermal energy storage due to an increase in storage capacity over plain concrete.展开更多

Objective:To summarize and analyze the application of traditional technology in preparing traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)preparations in medical institutions in Shaanxi Province after implementing the“Implementatio...Objective:To summarize and analyze the application of traditional technology in preparing traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)preparations in medical institutions in Shaanxi Province after implementing the“Implementation Rules for the Record Management of Traditional Chinese Medicine Preparations in Medical Institutions in Shaanxi Province(Trial)”(“Implementation Rules”),and to provide a reference for the filing of TCM preparations.Methods:The TCM preparations recorded by medical institutions in Shaanxi Province since March 2019 were statistically summarized.The filing status was comprehensively and systematically analyzed based on the number of institutions and preparations,the ratio of commissioned to self-production,dosage form distribution,and the level of medical institutions.Results:Since implementing the Implementation Rules,a total of 479 TCM preparations have been filed in the province.Among these,262 were commissioned for production,and 217 were self-produced,covering 17 dosage forms such as granules,pills,capsules,mixtures,and powders.A total of 86 medical institutions have filed preparations,most of which are located in Xi’an,Xianyang,and Weinan,with these three cities accounting for the largest number of filings.Conclusion:The policy on the TCM preparation filing system has been widely recognized and deeply implemented in Shaanxi Province.Third-level medical institutions are the primary contributors to preparation filings.Regional differences exist in the development of preparation filing,indicating significant potential for further growth in the province’s filing efforts.展开更多

This study focuses on identifying the factors under which mixed microbial seeds assist bio-chemical denitrification when Scrap Iron Filings(SIF)are used as electron donors and adsorbents in low C/N ratio waters.Batch ...This study focuses on identifying the factors under which mixed microbial seeds assist bio-chemical denitrification when Scrap Iron Filings(SIF)are used as electron donors and adsorbents in low C/N ratio waters.Batch studies were conducted in abiotic and biotic reactors containing fresh and aged SIF under different dissolved oxygen concentrations with NO_(3)^(-)−N and/or PO_(4)^(3−)influent(s)and their nitrate/phosphate removal and by-product formations were studied.Batch reactors were seeded with a homogenized mixed microbial inoculum procured from natural sludges which were enriched over 6 months under denitrifying conditions in the presence of SIF.Results indicated that when influent containing 40 mg/L of NO_(3)^(-)−N was treated with 5 g SIF,79.9%nitrate reduction was observed in 8 days abiotically and 100%removal was accomplished in 20 days when the reactor was seeded.Both abiotic and seeded reactors removed more than 92%PO_(4)^(3−)under high DO conditions in 12 days.Abiotic and biochemical removal of NO_(3)^(-)−N and abiotic removal of PO_(4)^(3−)were higher under independent NO_(3)^(-)−N/PO_(4)^(3−)loading,while 99%PO_(4)^(3−)was removed biochemically under combined NO_(3)^(-)−N and PO_(4)^(3−)loading.This study furthers the understandings of nitrate and phosphate removal in Zero Valent Iron(ZVI)assisted mixed microbial systems to encourage the application of SIF-supported bio-chemical processes in the simultaneous removals of these pollutants.展开更多

The Taguchi method was used to investigate the relationship between the fatigue performance and filling parameters. The results show that filling speed is the most significant factor among the four parameters. Synchronous pressures is less influential on the fatigue life when the value of synchronous pressure is from 400 kPa to 600 kPa.展开更多

With the increase in the quantity and scale of Static Random-Access Memory Field Programmable Gate Arrays (SRAM-based FPGAs) for aerospace application, the volume of FPGA configuration bit files that must be stored ha...With the increase in the quantity and scale of Static Random-Access Memory Field Programmable Gate Arrays (SRAM-based FPGAs) for aerospace application, the volume of FPGA configuration bit files that must be stored has increased dramatically. The use of compression techniques for these bitstream files is emerging as a key strategy to alleviate the burden on storage resources. Due to the severe resource constraints of space-based electronics and the unique application environment, the simplicity, efficiency and robustness of the decompression circuitry is also a key design consideration. Through comparative analysis current bitstream file compression technologies, this research suggests that the Lempel Ziv Oberhumer (LZO) compression algorithm is more suitable for satellite applications. This paper also delves into the compression process and format of the LZO compression algorithm, as well as the inherent characteristics of configuration bitstream files. We propose an improved algorithm based on LZO for bitstream file compression, which optimises the compression process by refining the format and reducing the offset. Furthermore, a low-cost, robust decompression hardware architecture is proposed based on this method. Experimental results show that the compression speed of the improved LZO algorithm is increased by 3%, the decompression hardware cost is reduced by approximately 60%, and the compression ratio is slightly reduced by 0.47%.展开更多

The multi-stage development strategy is often adopted in the gas field.However,when the productivity decline occurs,many large processing stations will be severely idle and underutilized,significantly reducing operati...The multi-stage development strategy is often adopted in the gas field.However,when the productivity decline occurs,many large processing stations will be severely idle and underutilized,significantly reducing operating efficiency and revenue.This study proposes a novel operation mode of multiple gathering production systems for gas field multi-stage development,integrating the decisions about processing capacity allocation and infrastructure construction to share processing stations and improve multi-system operating efficiency.A multi-period mixed integer linear programming model for multisystem operation optimization is established to optimize the net present value(NPV),considering the production of gas wells,time-varying gas prices,and the capacity of processing stations.The decision of processing capacity,location,construction timing,and capacity expansion of processing stations,as well as transmission capacity of pipelines and processing capacity allocation schemes,can be obtained to meet long-term production demand.Furthermore,a real case study indicates that the proposed processing capacity allocation approach not only has a shorter payback period and increases NPV by 4.8%,but also increases the utilization efficiency of processing stations from 27.37% to 48.94%.This work demonstrates that the synergy between the processing capacity allocation and infrastructure construction can hedge against production fluctuations and increase potential profits.展开更多

文摘This paper presents the design and implementation of a Python-based conversion tool for Apple Live Photo files(.livp).The tool converts.livp files into standard image formats(JPEG/HEIC/PNG)by renaming them to.zip and extracting the static images while optionally removing the embedded short video(.mov).It supports one-click batch processing of all.livp files within a folder.The software adopts a modular design,consisting of file renaming,batch decompression,temporary file cleaning,and a Tkinter-based graphical user interface(GUI).A multithreading mechanism ensures a smooth user experience without interface freezing.With a compact size of approximately 10.7 MB,the software is easy to deploy and suitable for users who need to batch-convert Live Photos into static images.This paper introduces the system design,key implementation details,performance analysis,and potential improvements,providing references for developing lightweight format conversion applications.

文摘The multi-stage development strategy is often adopted in the gas field.However,when the productivity decline occurs,many large processing stations will be severely idle and underutilized,significantly reducing operating efficiency and revenue.This study proposes a novel operation mode of multiple gathering production systems for gas field multi-stage development,integrating the decisions about processing capacity allocation and infrastructure construction to share processing stations and improve multi-system operating efficiency.A multi-period mixed integer linear programming model for multisystem operation optimization is established to optimize the net present value(NPV),considering the production of gas wells,time-varying gas prices,and the capacity of processing stations.The decision of processing capacity,location,construction timing,and capacity expansion of processing stations,as well as transmission capacity of pipelines and processing capacity allocation schemes,can be obtained to meet long-term production demand.Furthermore,a real case study indicates that the proposed processing capacity allocation approach not only has a shorter payback period and increases NPV by 4.8%,but also increases the utilization efficiency of processing stations from 27.37% to 48.94%.This work demonstrates that the synergy between the processing capacity allocation and infrastructure construction can hedge against production fluctuations and increase potential profits.
