Treatment is warranted if the pain or a pathologic fracture occurs or if a child is at risk of pathologic fractures. The spectrum of treatments proposed for SBC management ranges from simple Kirschner wire drill-hole, resection or curettage with or without bone grafting to using a cannulated screw for continuous decompression, steroid injection and the latest experience of the use of percutaneous autologous marrow grafting. However, clinical practice of these treatments is limited because of their unsatisfactory effect and possible complications.展开更多
