From the results of researches of active faults in resent years, a correlation analysis between segments of the faults according to surface ruptures in nine historical strong earthquakes occurring in downfaulted system and active structures around Ordos block is conducted in paper. The result shows that there is a good correlation between them, except few individual data that have more uncertain parameters. It shows that intensity and segments of surface ruptures in these strong earthquakes are intrinsically related with the active structures. These strong earthquakes produced stable and unstable rupture boundaries of characteristic-earthquake type and successive occurrence of strong earthquakes on the different boundary faults in the same tectonic unit. 展开更多

Displacement Field due to Nonuniform Slip along a Long Dip-Slip Fault in Two Welded Half-Spaces

The solution of static deformation of two homogeneous, isotropic, and perfectly elastic half-spaces in welded contact due to a long dip-slip fault with uniform slip is well known. The aim of the present article is to obtain the static deformation of two homogeneous, isotropic, and perfectly elastic half-spaces in welded contact due to nonuniform slip along a long dip-slip fault. The fault is vertical and lies entirely in the lower half-space, extending up to the interface. Four slip profiles are considered: lin- ear, parabolic, elliptic, and cubic. Closed-form expressions for the elastic residual field have been ob- tained for the different slip profiles. The displacement field due to four nonuniform slip profiles is com- pared with the displacement field due to uniform slip. For comparison, we have assumed the source potency for different slip profiles to be the same, which is achieved by taking the fault slip at the inter- face constant and varying the fault width. It is found that the displacement field varies significantly at the fault width rather than at the interface. Moreover, uniform slip along the fault makes the edges singular. This singularity at the lower edge is not present in the case of nonuniform slip along a long dip-slip fault. 展开更多

Most of the earthquake faults in North-East India, China, mid Atlantic-ridge, the Pacific seismic belt and Japan are found to be predominantly dip-slip in nature. In the present paper a dip-slip fault is taken situated in an elastic layer over a viscoelastic half space representing the lithosphere-asthenosphere system. A movement of the dip-slip nature across the fault occurs when the accumulated stress due to various tectonic reasons e.g. mantle convection etc., exceeds the local friction and cohesive forces across the fault. The movement is assumed to be slipping in nature, expressions for displacements, stresses and strains are obtained by solving associated boundary value problem with the help of integral transformation and Green’s function method and a suitable numerical methods is used for computation. A detailed study of these expressions may give some ideas about the nature of stress accumulation in the system, which in turn will be helpful in formulating an earthquake prediction programme. 展开更多

Fault geometrical model of Dujiangyan section in Longmenshan fault zone

The focal mechanism solution on the seismic fault plane can reflect the geometric and kinematic characteristics of faults, and it is an important way to further study the fine structure of fault plane. From the focal mechanism solution of the earthquakes around the Dujiangyan fault in Longmenshan fault zone, we derived the average dip angle of Dujiangyan fault is 45.1° based on the seismic moment tensor theory. In order to refine the fault geometry structure, this paper decomposed it into multiple sub-fault planes along the length and width of the fault plane and forms a number of models A13, B13, A23 a, A23 b, A23 c, B23 a,B23 b and B23 c, then calculated the sub-fault’s dip of each model. In order to clarify exactly which one of the fault models is closest to the real fault model, the fault slip was carried out for each model in turn, then compared the surface displacement of each model with GPS observations. The results show that B23 c model with high dip in shallow and small dip in deep is the best model, the lengths of each subfault of Dujiangyan fault from south to north are 33 km, 21 km and 46 km, respectively. When the depth of the fault bottom is about 11 km, the dip angles are 70.56°, 67.41° and 45.55°.When the depth of the fault bottom is about 30 km, The fault dip angles are 44.55°, 29.18° and 44.25°. 展开更多

Abstract The Nansha ultra-crust layer-block is confined by ultra-crustal boundary faults of distinctive features, bordering the Kangtai-Shuangzi-Xiongnan extensional faulted zone on the north, the Baxian-Baram-Yoca-Cuyo nappe faulted zone on the south, the Wan'an-Natuna strike-slip tensional faulted zone on the west and the Mondoro-Panay strike-slip compressive faulted zone on the east. These faults take the top of the Nansha asthenosphere as their common detachmental surface. The Cenozoic dynamic process of the ultra-crust layer-block can be divided into four stages: K2-E21, during which the northern boundary faults extended, this ultra-crust layer-block was separated from the South China-Indosinian continental margin, the Palaeo-South China Sea subducted southwards and the Sibu accretion wedge was formed; E22-E31, during which the Southwest sub-sea basin extended and orogeny was active due to the collision of the Sibu accretion wedge; E32-N11, during which the central sub-sea basin extended, the Miri accretion wedge was formed and “A-type” subduction of the southern margin of the north Balawan occurred; N12-the present, during which large-scale thrusting and napping of the boundary faults in the south and mountain-building have taken place and the South China Sea stopped its extension. 展开更多

The solution is valid for arbitrary values of the fault-depth and the dip angle. The effect of fault-depth on the displacement and stress fields for different values of dip angle has been studied numerically. It is found that the displacement field varies significantly for a buried fault from the corresponding displacement field for an interface-breaking fault. The contour maps showing the stress field for various dip angles for buried and interface-breaking fault have been plotted. It has been observed that the stress field varies significantly for a buried fault from the corresponding stress field for an interface-breaking fault. 展开更多

断层倾角对声发射信号传播规律影响的试验研究

因存在断层和岩层间层理面等不连续界面,天然岩体并非均匀连续介质,声发射信号经过断层和层理面时传播规律必然会发生改变,因此研究断层中声发射信号的传播规律成为岩石力学的重点课题之一。基于惠更斯原理对含断层的非均匀介质条件下... 因存在断层和岩层间层理面等不连续界面,天然岩体并非均匀连续介质,声发射信号经过断层和层理面时传播规律必然会发生改变,因此研究断层中声发射信号的传播规律成为岩石力学的重点课题之一。基于惠更斯原理对含断层的非均匀介质条件下的波面方程进行推导,并通过室内相似模拟模型试验制作45°、60°、75°以及其他类型断层试件,结合超声波测速仪和DS5-16B全信息声发射信号分析仪对跨断层的声发射信号进行监测和记录,采用非线性拟合和Matlab软件数值计算的方式,研究不同倾角的断层、层理面数量对声发射信号传播速度以及信号特征的影响。结果表明:声发射信号的传播速度随着断层倾角的增大逐渐增加,传播速度与断层倾角呈正相关,断层倾角越大信号传播速度越快,信号穿过断层后传播速度会发生衰减,断层倾角越大速度衰减比例越小,层理面会使传播速度发生衰减,单个层理面对速度的影响较小,2个层理面对速度的影响较大;断层会使信号的最大幅值减小,主频率降低,频率区间向低频方向移动,断层倾角越大,最大幅值、主频率、频率区间越大。1个层理面对信号的影响较小,与无层理面的信号时频特征基本相同,2个层理面对信号的影响较大,会使信号的最大幅值、主频、频率区间有较大幅度的减小;断层的存在会导致声发射信号的瞬时能量发生巨大衰减,倾角越小衰减越为严重。研究成果可为射线理论下波速模型的建立提供理论依据。 展开更多

The purpose of this note is to study the modifications in the stress field of a long inclined strike-slip, dip-slip or tensile fault caused by the welded-contact boundary conditions across the interface between two elastic half-spaces. The Poisson’s ratios of the two half-spaces do not appear in the stress field of a strike-slip fault. In the case of a dip-slip fault, the Poisson’s ratio of the half-space in which the fault lies, has a significant influence on the stress field across the interface. However, for a tensile fault, the modification in the stress field is significantly affected by the Poisson’s ratios of both the half-spaces. 展开更多

The Use of Seismic Attributes to Enhance Fault Interpretation of OT Field, Niger Delta

An integrated approach to the study of the fault patterns and seismic attributes was carried out on the OT field using a 3D swamp seismic data covering approximately 420 Km2 of western belt of the Niger Delta. This study aimed at improving the visualization of faults in the study area using different seismic attributes. Three major growth faults dipping south with few antithetic faults dipping in opposite direction to the growth faults and other minor faults were identified manually on the original and steered seismic cube in the inline 11669, while in the cross line only one major fault was identified manually. The seismic volume was subjected to several stages of post-stack processing to enhance discontinuities. First, a dip-steering volume was created. Several dip-steered filters were then applied to enhance faults and fractures visualization. Finally, similarity and curvature attributes were calculated on the dip-steered and fault enhanced volume. These final attributes show detailed geometry of the fault system and the numerous subtle lineaments in the study area. The integration of the attributes has increased confidence in the seismic mapping of the faults and the other numerous subtle lineaments which were difficult to identify on the input data. Similarity and curvature attributes of the seismic volume preserve subtle structural details and permit a more robust interpretation of the structures. 展开更多

与远场地震动相比,近断层地震动具有上盘效应、速度脉冲等特征,将加剧地下结构震害。提出一种可高效模拟倾滑断层动态破裂—隧道反应全过程的快速多极间接边界元—有限元混合方法(FMM-IBEM-FEM):采用快速多极间接边界元(FMM-IBEM)模拟... 与远场地震动相比,近断层地震动具有上盘效应、速度脉冲等特征,将加剧地下结构震害。提出一种可高效模拟倾滑断层动态破裂—隧道反应全过程的快速多极间接边界元—有限元混合方法(FMM-IBEM-FEM):采用快速多极间接边界元(FMM-IBEM)模拟断层破裂和大尺度场地地震动,发挥其求解精度高、计算存储量小的优势;采用有限元(FEM)精细化模拟隧道及周围近地表场地域,通过施加黏弹性人工边界,将断层错动激发的地震动转化为施加在边界节点上的等效节点力,实现FMM-IBEM计算域和FEM计算域的应力和位移传递。基于所建方法,研究了断层距和断层倾角对近倾滑断层衬砌隧道地震响应的影响。结果表明:地震响应水平分量作用下衬砌隧道环向应力峰值出现在拱肩和拱脚,地震响应竖向分量作用下衬砌隧道环向应力峰值出现在拱腰和拱顶,且存在较大残余应力。当断层距为2000 m时,地震响应水平分量作用下隧道拱脚内壁环向应力峰值相较断层距为0 m对应结果降低54%;90°倾角断层产生的地震动对衬砌隧道影响最为显著,但同时要特别关注小于45°的倾滑断层场地中衬砌隧道的动力响应。 展开更多

工作面仰斜开采受断层影响导致矿山压力显现异常,造成液压支架压架、煤壁片帮、巷道围岩变形,严重影响工作面回采安全。为掌握综采工作面仰斜遇断层开采矿山压力显现规律,明晰其机理。以枣庄矿业集团新安煤矿31608工作面为工程背景,采... 工作面仰斜开采受断层影响导致矿山压力显现异常,造成液压支架压架、煤壁片帮、巷道围岩变形,严重影响工作面回采安全。为掌握综采工作面仰斜遇断层开采矿山压力显现规律,明晰其机理。以枣庄矿业集团新安煤矿31608工作面为工程背景,采用理论分析、现场实测验证的方法,对比水平和仰斜这2种开采条件下的矿山压力分布,从而对工作面仰斜遇断层开采情况下的矿山压力偏移问题展开研究。研究结果表明,工作面回采至初次来压前,水平开采时垂直应力峰值位于基本顶中部,应力呈中心对称分布;仰斜开采时应力集中区域向煤壁侧偏移2%,工作面两端头出现应力集中,且初次来压步距变短。工作面周期来压至遇断层前,水平开采时基本顶应力集中区域位置向采空区侧偏移,煤壁应力较均匀;仰斜开采条件下基本顶应力集中区域位置进一步向采空区侧偏移,易发生片帮现象。工作面仰采条件下顶板应力集中区域位置向煤壁侧偏移,且应力集中程度和峰值显著增大,导致煤壁更易破坏;仰采条件的应力集中区域向煤壁侧偏移,同时主应力值降低,且靠近采空区侧应力较高。最后再将理论计算结果与现场矿压监测结果相互比对,验证了研究成果的可靠性。 展开更多

跨断层山岭隧道地震响应特性

以北京至秦皇岛高速公路项目为工程背景,采用数值分析手段研究了跨断层山岭隧道地震受荷机理。结果表明:地震荷载横向作用下,断层破碎带的存在不会影响隧道地震响应规律,但会明显提高隧道受荷强度。其中,隧道拱顶加速度提高1.14倍,最大... 以北京至秦皇岛高速公路项目为工程背景,采用数值分析手段研究了跨断层山岭隧道地震受荷机理。结果表明:地震荷载横向作用下,断层破碎带的存在不会影响隧道地震响应规律,但会明显提高隧道受荷强度。其中,隧道拱顶加速度提高1.14倍,最大收敛值提高1.45倍,但依旧满足横断面变形限值。在断层区域隧道主应力明显升高,远离断层后降低,最大主应力出现在隧道拱腰,为6.9 MPa。最大主应力明显增大范围约70 m,超出断层宽度,应将抗震设防范围提高至隧道跨度的4.1倍。此外,断层倾角和断层带宽度均会对跨断层隧道结构产生明显影响。当隧道以大角度穿越断层带时,位于断层带内的隧道长度较小,对隧道抗震最有利。同时,较大的断层宽度会使得隧道受力趋于平稳。 展开更多

盐窗是油气运移的重要通道,其是否发育决定盐下油气能否向上运移,影响盐上领域的成藏和勘探。为了研究盐窗发育及控制因素,以盐上油气富集差异较大的下刚果和南加蓬盆地为研究对象,类比坎波斯盆地,综合利用地震、测井及油气发现资料,分... 盐窗是油气运移的重要通道,其是否发育决定盐下油气能否向上运移,影响盐上领域的成藏和勘探。为了研究盐窗发育及控制因素,以盐上油气富集差异较大的下刚果和南加蓬盆地为研究对象,类比坎波斯盆地,综合利用地震、测井及油气发现资料,分析三者在残留盐岩成分、盐上断层特征和围岩物性方面的差异及对盐窗发育的影响。研究结果表明:残余盐岩为硬石膏时比石盐更易于形成盐窗,因为前者脆性大,形成连续分布的盖层需要更大的厚度;盐上正向断层比反向断层更能促进盐岩的伸展减薄和盐窗的形成;围岩物性较好时,水动力以及水流量的因素可促进盐溶解,利于盐窗形成。该认识对研究区盐上油气勘探具有一定的指导意义。 展开更多

塔里木盆地顺北油田SH区走滑断裂带空间结构非常复杂,断裂解释难度大,特别是随着油气滚动勘探与开发的快速推进,对断裂解释效率和精度都提出了很高的要求。传统人工解释方法利用相干算法、最大似然性、蚂蚁体等断裂敏感属性约束进行断... 塔里木盆地顺北油田SH区走滑断裂带空间结构非常复杂,断裂解释难度大,特别是随着油气滚动勘探与开发的快速推进,对断裂解释效率和精度都提出了很高的要求。传统人工解释方法利用相干算法、最大似然性、蚂蚁体等断裂敏感属性约束进行断裂解释,效率太低,无法满足油气勘探与开发的需求。为了提升顺北油田SH区复杂断裂带的解释效率和精度,以目标增强解释性处理和混合神经网络原理为基础,采用ResNet与U-Net构成的混合神经网络模型ResU-Net,应用GeoPlat AI人工智能地震解释软件对断裂进行智能识别和解释。研究结果表明:①通过倾角导向滤波和倾角控制增强技术处理后,地震资料信噪比提升超过8%,主干断裂断点识别精度有了明显提升;②所构建的ResU-Net混合神经网络模型经1×10^(5)组样本预训练后,断裂自动识别效率较传统方法提高了20倍;③在局部断裂解释结果与断裂地质模式、构造样式匹配度不足的区域,引入地质模式约束后,断裂解释精度提升至91.88%,划分出4类走滑断裂构造样式(正花状、单支状、半花状、负花状);④实际工区应用证实,采用该方法在SH1井区成功解释25组断裂,与该井区的漏失、放空等动态、静态资料吻合性好,有效指导了7口井位部署。结论认为,人工智能与地质模式协同的断裂解释技术可以有效解决复杂构造区断裂解释难题,所建立的断裂模型为井轨迹设计提供了可靠依据。 展开更多

趋势面校正技术在深水油田构造畸变条件下的应用

断层阴影带构造畸变表现为断层三角区地震同相轴“上拉”“下拉”或假断层的现象,是地震成像中的一种典型干扰现象,给构造落实和油田的开发生产带来很大挑战。流花深水A油田为一受断层阴影带影响严重的深水油田,构造预测深度与井点实钻... 断层阴影带构造畸变表现为断层三角区地震同相轴“上拉”“下拉”或假断层的现象,是地震成像中的一种典型干扰现象,给构造落实和油田的开发生产带来很大挑战。流花深水A油田为一受断层阴影带影响严重的深水油田,构造预测深度与井点实钻深度误差高达40m,无法满足构造研究的需求。针对这一难题,在充分分析地震资料有效信息和区域海相砂岩沉积特点后,提出利用地震属性定量刻画断层阴影带范围,再采用地层倾角趋势面约束校正恢复断层阴影带构造技术。该技术在流花深水油区首次应用。结果 表明,井点深度误差由40m降至10m以内,构造精度提高了12%,其构造形态与开发井生产动态的更为吻合,解决了该区严重的动静态生产矛盾问题。该方法适应性强,效果显著,对类似地质条件下油气田的构造研究具有良好的推广应用价值。 展开更多
