Latitude Distribution and N-S Asymmetry of GLE Event Source Locations during 1942–2024

We examined the heliolatitude distribution and North-South(N-S)asymmetry of Ground Level Enhancement(GLE)event source locations from 1942 to 2024,finding distinct patterns between the periods 1942–1979 and1980–2024.Between 1942 and 1979,33 GLE events were recorded:5 from the southern hemisphere within[S3,S11]and 28 from the northern hemisphere within[N7,N37].The southeast quadrant was devoid of any source locations for GLE events.45.4%of the source locations of the GLE events were within the latitudinal range of[S15,N15].The remaining source locations of the GLE events were distributed at latitudes above 15°in the northern hemisphere.Between 1980 and 2024,43 GLE events were recorded:25 from the southern hemisphere and 18 from the northern hemisphere,with all events above 30°latitude originating from the northern hemisphere.Approximately 44.2%of the source locations of the GLE events were distributed within the latitudinal band[S15,N15].Over the period from 1942 to 2024,44.7%within[S15,N15],63.2%within[S20,N20],80.3%within[S25,N25],88.2%within[S30,N30],and 11.8%at latitudes above 30°.N-S asymmetry was significant at latitudes above 0°,5°,10°,15°,20°and 30°,with northern hemisphere dominance.Moreover,a strong inverse correlation exists between the number of GLE events from the northern and southern hemispheres at latitudes above 0°,5°,10°,15°,20°,25°and 30°. 展开更多

Suppression of Vortex-Induced Vibration by Fairings on Marine Risers 被引量:7

Vortex-induced vibration is quite common during the operation of offshore risers or umbilical cables,commonly leading to serious damage to risers and reduced service life.Vortex-induced vibration of the offshore risers could be effectively suppressed by fairing devices.In this paper,a newly developed vortex-induced vibration fairing and large eddy simulation model of the FLUENT software were used for numerical analysis,experimental research and stimulating vortex-induced vibration at 0.1–2 ms^-1.The data of the numerical model with fairing was compared and analyzed to study the vortex shedding frequency at different Reynolds numbers and changes in drag and lift coefficients.The displacement state of 12 in risers with and without fairing was experimentally tested using a five degree-of-freedom balance.The vortex-induced vibration effect of the fairing was tested at different velocities.The result shows the drag reduction effect of the fairing is more obvious when the flow velocity is 0.4–1.2 ms^-1 and the maximum drag reduction reaches 55.6%when the flow velocity is 0.6 ms^-1.Additionally,the drag reduction effect was obvious when the flow velocity was greater than 1.3 ms^-1 and less than 0.3.The result indicates that the developed 12 in fairing,with good potential in engineering applications,has good vortex-induced vibration-suppression effects. 展开更多

[目的]评价Fares法与Hippocrates法治疗肩关节前脱位合并肱骨大结节骨折的疗效。[方法]采用回顾性研究方法,选取2007年3月-2015年12月因肩关节前脱位合并肱骨大结节撕脱骨折患者60例,其中男36例,女24例,手法复位分为FARES法治疗组与传统Hippocrates法治疗组,其中Fares法治疗组32例,传统Hippocrates组28例。对比分析两组患者复位时主观疼痛感觉、复位成功率、平均复位操作时间、复位后并发症等,并基于CT扫描评估肱骨大结节骨折块的位置。[结果]FARES复位法可更有效放松患者紧张肌群,减轻复位时痛苦,VAS评分明显低于Hippocrates组(P〈0.05);Fares法复位成功率93.75%(30/32)显著高于Hippocrates法的75%(21/28)(P〈0.05);FARES法复位平均操作时间3.07 min明显短于Hippocrates法的5.45 min(P〈0.05);并且复位术后并发症发生概率亦明显低于Hippocrates组(P〈0.01);两种方法复位后其肱骨大结节骨折块移位距离差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05),两者复位效果相当。[结论]FARES复位法可有效降低肩关节脱位合并肱骨大结节骨折复位时主观疼痛感,复位操作时间短、成功率高,复位后并发症发生率低;且复位后肱骨大结节骨折块位置与Hippocrates法相当。 展开更多

目的比较快速、可靠、安全(FARES)法与Hippocrates法手法复位治疗肩关节前脱位的临床疗效。方法回顾分析2014年3月至2019年3月于上海长海医院骨科急诊就诊的106例肩关节前脱位患者的临床资料。依据复位方法将患者分为两组,A组54例采用FA... 目的比较快速、可靠、安全(FARES)法与Hippocrates法手法复位治疗肩关节前脱位的临床疗效。方法回顾分析2014年3月至2019年3月于上海长海医院骨科急诊就诊的106例肩关节前脱位患者的临床资料。依据复位方法将患者分为两组,A组54例采用FARES法复位,B组52例采用传统Hippocrates法复位。比较两组患者的复位成功率,复位操作时间,尝试复位次数,复位后并发症发生情况,疼痛的视觉模拟评分(VAS)。结果A组患者复位成功51例,成功率94.4%,B组复位成功42例,成功率80.8%,两组间存在差异(χ^2=2.496,P=0.039)。A组复位操作时间为(2.16±0.96)min,B组为(5.68±1.33)min,两组间存在差异(t=6.126,P=0.001)。复位过程中A组的疼痛VAS评分为(1.60±0.96)分,B组为(5.44±0.44)分,A组明显低于B组(t=6.461,P=0.000)。复位前与复位后两组的疼痛VAS评分无差异(P>0.05)。结论FARES法处理肩关节前脱位具有复位成功率高,时间短,安全性高,患者疼痛小的优势,是治疗肩关节前脱位较理想的方法,值得推广应用。 展开更多

To relieve traffic congestion in urban rail transit stations,a new identification method of crowded passenger flow based on automatic fare collection data is proposed.First,passenger travel characteristics are analyzed by observing the temporal distribution of inflow passengers each hour and the spatial distribution concerning cross-section passenger flow.Secondly,the identification method of crowded passenger flow is proposed to calculate the threshold via the probability density function fitted by Matlab and classify the early-warning situation based on the threshold obtained.Finally,a case study of Xinjiekou station is conducted to prove the validity and practicability of the proposed method.Compared to the traditional methods,the proposed comprehensive method can remove defects such as efficiency and delay.Furthermore,the proposed method is suitable for other rail transit companies equipped with automatic fare collection systems. 展开更多

This paper is mainly concerned with how to increase rail transit ridership and how to coordinate with multimodity to optimize the entire public transportation systems. Three case cities, Montreal, Toronto and San Francisco, with metro systems are reviewed in different aspects, including urban planning, transport policy, flexible fare system, safety and security measure, special service, new technical application to improve the quality and value of its service for increasing revenues and profit, comtributing to the long term development of public transit. Some conclusions can be drawn: 1) urban planning should be closely connected with urban transport planning; 2) the role of government is predominant to implement railtransit; 3) the facilifies of railtransit should be advanced, reliable and safe; 4) quality service should be match with rail facilities; 5) special service for the disabled, yound and senior should be advocated. 展开更多

目的比较改良FARES法与Hippocrates法治疗肩关节前脱位的临床效果。方法选取2014年1月至2018年12月肩关节前脱位患者80例,随机分为观察组(采用改良FARES法)与试验组(采用Hippocrates法)。观察比较两组患者复位前基本资料、复位操作时间... 目的比较改良FARES法与Hippocrates法治疗肩关节前脱位的临床效果。方法选取2014年1月至2018年12月肩关节前脱位患者80例,随机分为观察组(采用改良FARES法)与试验组(采用Hippocrates法)。观察比较两组患者复位前基本资料、复位操作时间、复位时视觉模拟评分(VAS)、一次性复位成功率、末次随访时肩关节UCLA评分与总有效率。结果两组患者复位前基本资料比较差异均无统计学意义(均P>0.05);与试验组相比,观察组复位操作时间明显减少(t=6.67,P<0.01),复位时VAS分值较低(t=12.76,P<0.01)、一次复位成功率更高(χ^2=7.718,P<0.01);观察组患者总有效率明显高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论两种手法均能有效复位肩关节,相比于Hippocrates法,改良FARES法复位操作时间短,一次复位成功率高,大大减轻患者疼痛度,总有效性高,是一种安全性高、值得推荐的复位方法。 展开更多

A comfortable environment in railway passenger coaches can be regarded as a resource for social consumption during the transport process. Railway passenger comfort benefits (RPCBs) can be regarded as a special generalized cost. In this paper, we select a series of objective and subjective indexes to formulate a quantitative method of calculating the RPCB with considering ticket fares. This method includes three steps: make the initial data dimensionless, calculate the weight of each index, and finally calculate the RPCBs. The proposed method was validated with the data collected from two types of trains: G13 from Beijing South to Shanghai Hongqiao and T109 from Beijing to Shanghai. Also, questionnaire survey was conducted in both trains. After data processing, the results show that there is a linear relationship between the RPCB and ticket fare with a correlation coefficient of 0.9616. 展开更多

The smart card-based automated fare collection (AFC) system has become the main method for collecting urban bus and rail transit fares in many cities worldwide. Such smart card technologies provide new opportunities for transportation data collection since the transaction data obtained through AFC system contains a significant amount of archived information which can be gathered and leveraged to help estimate public transit origin–destination matrices. Boarding location detection is an important step particularly when there is no automatic vehicle location (AVL) system or GPS information in the database in some cases. With the analysis of raw data without AVL information in this paper, an algorithm for trip direction detection is built and the directions for any bus in operation can be confirmed. The transaction interval between each adjacent record will also be analyzed to detect the boarding clusters for all trips in sequence. Boarding stops will then be distributed with the help of route information and operation schedules. Finally, the feasibility and practicality of the methodology are tested using the bus transit smart card data collected in Guangzhou, China. 展开更多

目的对比分析肩关节前脱位并肱骨大结节骨折患者应用Fares法与Hippocrates法治疗优劣差异。方法将我院收治的70例肩关节前脱位并肱骨大结节骨折患者选为观察对象,随机分为甲、乙两组各35例。甲组患者予以Fares法治疗,乙组患者予以Hippoc... 目的对比分析肩关节前脱位并肱骨大结节骨折患者应用Fares法与Hippocrates法治疗优劣差异。方法将我院收治的70例肩关节前脱位并肱骨大结节骨折患者选为观察对象,随机分为甲、乙两组各35例。甲组患者予以Fares法治疗,乙组患者予以Hippocrates法治疗,对比两组患者治疗效果。结果甲组复位成功率高于乙组差异显著(P<0.05)。甲组复位疼痛评分低于乙组差异显著(P<0.05)。甲组复位操作时间短于乙组差异显著(P<0.05)。甲组并发症发生率低于乙组差异显著(P<0.05)。结论肩关节前脱位并肱骨大结节骨折患者应用Fares法治疗的效果更加确切,不仅可以减轻患者疼痛程度,缩短操作时间,还可以减少并发症的发生,临床应用优势十分显著。 展开更多

The urban transit fare structure and level can largely affect passengers’travel behavior and route choices.The commonly used transit fare policies in the present transit network would lead to the unbalanced transit assignment and improper transit resources distribution.In order to distribute transit passenger flow evenly and efficiently,this paper introduces a new distance-based fare pattern with Euclidean distance.A bi-level programming model is developed for determining the optimal distance-based fare pattern,with the path-based stochastic transit assignment(STA)problem with elastic demand being proposed at the lower level.The upper-level intends to address a principal-agent game between transport authorities and transit enterprises pursing maximization of social welfare and financial interest,respectively.A genetic algorithm(GA)is implemented to solve the bi-level model,which is verified by a numerical example to illustrate that the proposed nonlinear distance-based fare pattern presents a better financial performance and distribution effect than other fare structures. 展开更多
