With the development of modem social productivity improvement, people' s material life is more and more abundant. But the social environment is getting more and more bad corresponding, haze, water pollution, dust and... With the development of modem social productivity improvement, people' s material life is more and more abundant. But the social environment is getting more and more bad corresponding, haze, water pollution, dust and so on make people' s life quality decreased greatly. Therefore, in the design community an advocate for environmental protection design trend has been emerged, namely green design trends. There is a lot of inspiration of the green design trend to the modem city public environment facilities. It advocates the ecological principles of green design are applied to the design of urban public facilities. Insist on a full process control principle, that is, in design of the urban public environment facilities fully consider the use environmental protection material, or reduce the use of raw materials, through the design make the limited resources to achieve the processing, use, scrap, recycling and reuse of a benign cycle, and reduce the impact on the environment from. 展开更多

Where a virtual representation of the Earth must contain data values observed within the physical Earth system,data models are required that allow the integration of data across the silos of various Earth and environmental sciences domains.Creating a mapping between the well-defined terminologies of these silos is a stubborn problem.This paper presents a generalised ontology for use within Web 3.0 services,which builds on European Commission spatial data infrastructure models.The presented ontology acknowledges that there are many complexities to the description of environmental properties which can be observed within the physical Earth system.The ontology is shown to be flexible and robust enough to describe concepts drawn from a range of Earth science disciplines,including ecology,geochemistry,hydrology and oceanography.This paper also demonstrates the alignment and compatibility of the ontology with existing systems and shows applications in which the ontology may be deployed. 展开更多

Enhancing the social inclusivity of public transportation from a perspective of gender equality has become more significant in the context of China's rapidly expanding urbanization.However,female commuters’personal safety is severely impacted by sexual harassment,which is pervasive in public transportation,especially during the summer and rush hours in densely populated first-and second-tier cities.The challenges confronting efforts to address this issue are manifold,including insufficient law enforcement,the particular spatial constraints of public transportation,and people’s weak awareness of protecting women’s rights.This study focuses on the prevention of sexual harassment on buses from the perspective of spatial design to address the behavioral patterns and psychological needs of female commuters and proposes a product-service system based on the theory of natural surveillance.Consisting of a spatial layout design module,three product modules,and a software module,the system improves natural surveillance within the space to deter potential offenders by optimizing the arrangement of hardware facilities,guiding passenger orientation,and improving visibility.Its overall design centers on spatial layout and integrates functions of products and service to prevent crimes before they start.Furthermore,this study innovatively introduces crime prevention theories in environmental design to propose high-quality and visually appealing solutions as alternatives to traditional defensive measures.In addition to being applicable to public transportation,the research findings may also be applied to other public areas to improve the protection of women. 展开更多
