Chain extenders, which are an important class of compounds, facilitate the elongation of polymer chains through reactive functional groups, thereby enhancing the performance of the materials. Epoxy-based chain extenders, due to their cost-effectiveness, low toxicity, high reaction efficiency, and effective reactivity with hydroxyl and carboxyl groups, have emerged as a promising class of chain extenders. This manuscript comprehensively elaborates on the varieties, structural characteristics, and performance of chain extenders, the challenges they face, and the methods for their modification. Special emphasis is placed on the application of epoxy-based chain extenders in biodegradable polymers, such as polylactic acid (PLA), and their subsequent influence on the structural and performance properties of these materials.展开更多

Several variable-coefficient equations are obtained. The solutions of these resulting equations can be constructed by the solutions of original models if their solutions are well known, such as the standard constant coefficient KdV equation and the standard compound KdV--Burgers equation, and so on. Then any one of these variable-coefficient equations can be considered as an original model to obtain new variable-coefficient equations whose solutions can also be known by means of transformation relations between solutions of the resulting new variable-coefficient equations and the original equation.展开更多

Compound 1 is built up of [P2WlsO62]6- cluster as the structural motif covalently linked by [Cu(2,2'-bipy)2]^2+ coordination complexes to yield the 1D chains, which axe further in close contact forming a 3D supramolecular framework via aromatic π-π stacking interactions and extensive hydrogen-bonding interactions among polyoxoanions, coordinated 2,2'-bipy organic ligands, free dpdo organic molecules and lattice water molecules.展开更多

We provide soli...We give the bilinear form and n-soliton solutions of a(2+1)-dimensional [(2+1)-D] extended shallow water wave(eSWW) equation associated with two functions v and r by using Hirota bilinear method. We provide solitons, breathers,and hybrid solutions of them. Four cases of a crucial φ(y), which is an arbitrary real continuous function appeared in f of bilinear form, are selected by using Jacobi elliptic functions, which yield a periodic solution and three kinds of doubly localized dormion-type solution. The first order Jacobi-type solution travels parallelly along the x axis with the velocity(3k12+ α, 0) on(x, y)-plane. If φ(y) = sn(y, 3/10), it is a periodic solution. If φ(y) = cn(y, 1), it is a dormion-type-Ⅰ solutions which has a maximum(3/4)k1p1 and a minimum-(3/4)k1p1. The width of the contour line is ln■. If φ(y) = sn(y, 1), we get a dormion-type-Ⅱ solution(26) which has only one extreme value-(3/2)k1p1. The width of the contour line is ln■. If φ(y) = sn(y, 1/2)/(1 + y2), we get a dormion-type-Ⅲ solution(21) which shows very strong doubly localized feature on(x, y) plane.
