Methods: A sample of 411 schoolchildren participated in the study. It was collected data on exposure to ACEs, PTSD, CPTSD, and attachment styles. Results: It was found that exposure to bullying and threats of violence was significantly associated with PTSD and CPTSD diagnosis, and exposure to physical violence and serious illness was associated with CPTSD diagnosis. Exposure to one ACE and exposure to 2 - 3 ACEs were associated with PTSD and CPTSD diagnosis, while exposure to 4 - 5 ACEs was associated with CPTSD diagnosis. Preoccupied and fearful attachment styles were significantly associated with PTSD and CPTSD diagnosis. Conclusion: The results of the study suggest that biological, psychological, and social factors interact and contribute to the differential prevalence of ACE, attachment styles, and PTSD/CPTSD. This study emphasizes the need of addressing childhood trauma as a public health priority in India.

文摘Background This study aimed to explore the influence of prior gaming experience on the intensity and onset of cybersickness symptoms by comparing the effects of virtual reality(VR)immersion in gamers and nongamers. Methods This study involved 50 male participants, with equal numbers of gamers and nongamers, who were subject to a VR environment using head-mounted displays in a sitting position for a 15-minute session. The intensity of cybersickness symptoms, such as nausea, oculomotor disturbances, and disorientation, was measured using a simulator sickness questionnaire, and the onset of cybersickness was measured using the fast motion sickness scale.Physiological indices were measured based on heart rate variability(HRV)parameters. Results This study found that prior gaming experience significantly affected symptoms of cybersickness during VR immersion.Nongamers experienced more severe symptoms, including higher levels of nausea, disorientation, and oculomotor disturbances, with symptoms appearing earlier than those in gamers. These differences were linked to increased fluctuations in HRV and reduced parasympathetic activity in nongamers, indicating higher autonomic nervous system strain.By contrast, gamers showed more stable HRV responses, suggesting better physiological adaptability to VR environments. Conclusion These findings indicate that familiarity of gamers with dynamic visual and sensory inputs may help them manage VR-induced sensory conflicts more effectively.

文摘Although numerousfindings show that people experience both positive and negative experiences with regards to solitude, the relationship between solitude capacity and emotional experience remains unclear. The current study investigated the extent to which emotion regulation may play a suppressive role in the relationship between solitude capacity and emotional experience.Questionnaires on solitude capacity, emotion regulation, and emotional experience were completed by a sample of Chinese college students(n=844;432 females;Meanage=19.79 years,SD=1.43 years). The results of the indirect effect test showed that cognitive reappraisal suppresses the prediction of solitude capacity on positive emotions, while the solitude capacity prediction of negative emotions was suppressed by both cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression. This suggests that solitude capacity does not predict emotional experience directly, but instead is realized through an antagonistic system consisting of adaptive and nonadaptive emotion regulation strategies.Thesefindings provide cross-sectional empirical support for the ecological niche hypothesis of solitude, and are of theoretical significance in clarifying the role of internal mechanisms of solitude capacity on the human emotional experience.
文摘Objective:This study aimed to systematically evaluate the measurement characteristics and methodological quality of childbirth experience assessment tools, with a view to informing the selection of healthcare professionals who can provide high-quality assessment tools.Method:A systematic search was performed on specific databases:PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,CINAHL,SinoMed,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and Wanfang, from inception to February 29,2024.The researchers retrieved studies on the measurement attributes of the childbirth experience assessment tool, and traced back the references of the included studies to supplement relevant literature.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, screening and data extraction were independently undertaken by two reviewers. Two researchers individually used the Consensus-based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments(COSMIN)Risk of Bias Checklist to assess the methodological quality of the scale, applied the COSMIN criteria to evaluate the measurement properties of the scale, and used a modified Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development, and Evaluation(GRADE)system to assess the certainty of evidence.Result:A total of 15 studies were included to evaluate the psychometric properties of 11 childbirth experience assessment tools(including different language versions).Eight studies’methodological quality of content validity was doubtful, and the remaining studies did not report content validity.None of the tools reported measurement error,cross-cultural validity,or responsiveness. In light of the questionable or unreported content validity of the tools, the evidence quality was deemed moderate or below.Consequently, the 11 assessment tools were recommended as grade B.Conclusion:In contrast, the Questionnaire for Assessing the Childbirth Experience(QACE)is recommended for provisional use, given its relatively good methodological and measurement attributes and appropriate content for evaluation. However, further validation of other measurement properties is needed.
