The control strategy introduces expert experiences to adjust the single neuron gain K, while a single neuron PID self-learning and adaptive ability, as well as cascade advantage can be combined to realize the real-time and fast temperature difference control. In the Simulink, the s-function of this control strategy is used to carry out a dynamic simulation experiment with temperature difference characteristics and verify the robustness and response to model mismatch. Compared to conventional temperature difference-flow PID cascade control and single neuron PID cascade control, this control strategy has better robustness and stronger adaptability. The results of real-time control on the THJSK-1 experiment platform indicate this control strategy is feasible.展开更多

It has remained uncertain whether or not it has a lot of positive benefits for the students’ experiences during placement as there have been divided opinions among researchers. Objective and review question: The objective of this qualitative systematic review was to explore the perceptions and experiences of nursing and midwifery students regarding mentorship during clinical placement. The question of the review was: what are the perceptions and experiences of nursing and midwifery students regarding mentorship during clinical placement. Methods and materials: Electronic data bases, journals and grey literature were searched for relevant studies and seven qualitative studies were systematically included in the review. The Joanna Briggs Institute-Qualitative Assessment and Review instrument (JBI-QARI) was used to critically appraise the studies. Data extraction was done using the JBI-QARI Data Extraction Tool. A thematic analysis was used to synthesise the findings. Findings: The findings suggest that there are still gaps within the mentorship programme that could have an impact on the students’ learning experiences during clinical placement. From the themes identified which include: need for feedback, hands on practice, continuity of mentorship and mentor-mentee relationship, the reviewers concluded that such areas of mentorship require attention in order to benefit the students. Conclusions: It can therefore be concluded that there are many lessons to be learnt in order to continue improving mentorship. It is also clear that mentorship will be beneficial to students if a good relationship is established between the mentor and mentee, as this is the beginning of the experience. All staff members should be willing to support students in learning for them to develop the knowledge, skill and attitudes that are necessary to their learning.展开更多

In addition to clear diagnosis and timely treatment, careful nursing throughout the hospitalization is particularly important for the patient’s recovery. Psychological nursing and family emotional support, the treatment of adverse drug reactions, systemic infection wound care, the prevention of pressure sores in long-term bedridden patients, antithrombotic nursing, disinfection isolation and the standard prevention of nosocomial cross infection all play decisive roles in the patient’s prognosis. After one month treatment and medical care, the patient was cured and was discharged from hospital. After discharge, the patient follow-up was carried out up to one year. This patient had completely recovered. In this paper, we report a successful nursing experience of an elderly patient with systemic disseminated Penicillium marneffei. With the summary of nursing key points, it could play a reference in the treatment and rehabilitation of similar patients.展开更多

文摘Safety critical control is often trained in a simulated environment to mitigate risk.Subsequent migration of the biased controller requires further adjustments. In this paper,an experience inference human-behavior learning is proposed to solve the migration problem of optimal controllers applied to real-world nonlinear systems. The approach is inspired in the complementary properties that exhibits the hippocampus, the neocortex, and the striatum learning systems located in the brain. The hippocampus defines a physics informed reference model of the realworld nonlinear system for experience inference and the neocortex is the adaptive dynamic programming(ADP)or reinforcement learning(RL)algorithm that ensures optimal performance of the reference model. This optimal performance is inferred to the real-world nonlinear system by means of an adaptive neocortex/striatum control policy that forces the nonlinear system to behave as the reference model.Stability and convergence of the proposed approach is analyzed using Lyapunov stability theory.Simulation studies are carried out to verify the approach.

文摘To understand the real experiences of patients with cancer-related fatigue and to promote quality of life, the researchers used computer searches of PubMed,EMbase,CINAHL,PsycINFO,Web of Science, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure,China Biology Medicine disc,Wanfang Data,China Science and Technology Journal Database for relevant qualitative studies from the inception to November 1,2021.The results showed that a total of 16 papers were included, and 57 outcomes were distilled into 9 categories, which were pooled into four integrated outcomes, such as somatic, psychological and social support and so on.It is concluded that patients with cancer-related fatigue are not only in the midst of multidimensional, unspeakable somatic experiences, and complex psychological experiences, they are also hindered in coping with fatigue symptom and social life. Therefore, healthcare professionals should provide health interventions and psychological support to those patients whenever possible.
文摘Background: Mentorship has been the model adopted by many countries to support learning and assessment of students in the clinical placement. All staff members should be willing to support students in learning for them to develop the knowledge, skill and attitudes that are necessary to their learning.
文摘BACKGROUND Laparoscopic surgery has reduced morbidity and mortality rates, shorter post-operative recovery periods and lower complication rates than open surgery. It is routine practice in high-income countries and is becoming increasingly common in countries with limited resources. However, introducing laparoscopic surgery in low-and-middle-income countries(LMIC)can be expensive and requires resour-ces,equipment,and trainers.AIM To report the challenges and benefits of introducing laparoscopic surgery in LMIC as well as to identify solutions to these challenges for countries with limited finances and resources.METHODS MEDLINE,EMBASE and Cochrane databases were searched for studies reporting first experience in laparoscopic surgery in LMIC.Included studies were published between 1996 and 2022 with full text available in English.Exclusion criteria were studies considering only open surgery, ear, nose, and throat,endoscopy,arthro-scopy,hysteroscopy,cystoscopy,transplant,or bariatric surgery.RESULTS Ten studies out of 3409 screened papers, from eight LMIC were eligible for inclusion in the final analysis, totaling 2497 patients. Most reported challenges were related to costs of equipment and training programmes, equipment pro-blems such as faulty equipment, and access to surgical kits.Training-related challenges were reliance on foreign trainers and lack of locally trained surgeons and theatre staff. The benefits of introducing laparoscopic surgery were economic and clinical, including a reduction in hospital stay, complications, and morbidi-ty/mortality.The introduction of laparoscopic surgery also provided training opportunities for junior doctors.CONCLUSION Despite financial and technical challenges, many studies emphasise the overall benefit of introducing laparoscopic surgery in LMICs such as reduced hospital stay and the related lower cost for patients. While many of the clinical centres in LMICs have proposed practical solutions to the challenges reported, more support is critically required,in particular regarding training.
文摘With the rapid growth of the Internet of Things paradigm,a tremendous number of applications and services that require minimal or no human involvement have been developed to enhance the quality of everyday life in various domains. In order to ensure that such services provide their functionalities with the expected quality,it is essential tomeasure and evaluate this quality, which can be in some cases a challenging task due to the lack of human intervention and feedback.Recently, the vast majority of the Quality of Experience QoE works mainly address the multimedia services. However, the introduction of Internet of Things IoT has brought a new level of complexity into the field of QoE evaluation. With the emerging of the new IoT technologies such as machine to machine communication and artificial intelligence, there is a crucial demand to utilize additional evaluation metrics alongside the traditional subjective and objective human factors and network quality factors. In this systematic review,a comprehensive survey of the QoE evaluation in IoT is presented. It reviews the existing quality of experience definitions, influencing factors, metrics, and models. The review is concluded by identifying the current gaps in the literature and suggested some future research directions accordingly.
文摘Existing theories of thermal comfort are largely blind to the way heat is delivered to spaces.Field studies, however, show that people create and enjoy thermal conditions that lie outside conventional definitions of comfort-the thermal experience itself is valued-some of which are tied to particular ways of delivering heat. The concept“exergy”can be used to describe the quality of heat energy and its ability to provide warmth.A shift from fossil fuels towards renewable sources heralds a new era of space heating consisting mainly of low exergy sources, such as heat pumps. This marks a major turning point in the history of domestic heating. This paper begins by discussing variations in domestic thermal environments before considering new forms of low carbon heating.Later sections analyse the way in which these systems deliver heat within people’s homes and consider the implications for thermal experience, comfort and energy consumption.
文摘Elderly patients with systemic disseminated Penicillium marneffei are generally more seriously ill with high mortality. With the summary of nursing key points, it could play a reference in the treatment and rehabilitation of similar patients.
