BACKGROUND Hepatic venous outflow obstruction(HVOO)is a rare but serious complication of liver transplantation,particularly in piggyback liver transplantation techniques where the inferior vena cava(IVC)is preserved.C...BACKGROUND Hepatic venous outflow obstruction(HVOO)is a rare but serious complication of liver transplantation,particularly in piggyback liver transplantation techniques where the inferior vena cava(IVC)is preserved.CASE SUMMARY A transplanted liver patient underwent retransplantation due to hepatic artery thrombosis and subsequently developed HVOO caused by graft compression of the IVC.A novel approach using a retrohepatic tissue expander effectively relieved the IVC compression,restored venous outflow,and stabilized hemodynamics.We discuss this case in the context of current treatment options and advances in HVOO management,from endovascular interventions such as balloon dilation and stenting to innovative surgical solutions such as graft repositioning and retrohepatic implants.CONCLUSION This case shows how important personalized treatments are for managing HVOO and how tissue expanders can be an adjustable and less invasive option.展开更多
The scroll expander,as the core component of the micro-compressed air energy storage and power generation system,directly affects the output efficiency of the system.Meanwhile,the scroll profile plays a central role i...The scroll expander,as the core component of the micro-compressed air energy storage and power generation system,directly affects the output efficiency of the system.Meanwhile,the scroll profile plays a central role in determining the output performance of the scroll expander.In this study,in order to investigate the output characteristics of a variable cross-section scroll expander,numerical simulation and experimental studies were con-ducted by using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)methods and dynamic mesh techniques.The impact of critical parameters on the output performance of the scroll expander was analyzed through the utilization of the control variable method.It is found that increasing the inlet pressure and temperature within a certain range can improve the output power of the scroll expander.However,the increase in temperature and meshing clearance leads to a decline in the overall output performance of the scroll expander,leading to a decrease in volumetric efficiency by 8.43%and 12.79%,respectively.The experiments demonstrate that under equal inlet pressure conditions,increasing the inlet temperature elevates both the rotational speed and torque output of the scroll expander.Specifically,compared to operating at normal temperatures,the output torque increases by 21.8%under high-temperature conditions.However,the rate of speed and torque variation decreases as a consequence of enlarged meshing clearance,resulting in increased internal leakage and reduction in isentropic efficiency.展开更多

Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is one of the most common pathogenic bacterial infections and is found in the stomachs of approximately half of the world’s population. It is the primary known cause of gast...Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is one of the most common pathogenic bacterial infections and is found in the stomachs of approximately half of the world’s population. It is the primary known cause of gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer disease and gastric cancer. However, combined drug therapy as the general treatment in the clinic, the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, adverse reactions and poor patient compliance are major obstacles to the eradication of H. pylori. Oral site-specific drug delivery systems that could increase the longevity of the treatment agent at the target site might improve the therapeutic effect and avoid side effects. Gastroretentive drug delivery systems potentially prolong the gastric retention time and controlled/sustained release of a drug, thereby increasing the concentration of the drug at the application site, potentially improving its bioavailability and reducing the necessary dosage. Recommended gastroretentive drug delivery systems for enhancing local drug delivery include floating systems, bioadhesive systems and expandable systems. In this review, we summarize the important physiological parameters of the gastrointestinal tract that affect the gastric residence time. We then focus on various aspects useful in the development of gastroretentive drug delivery systems, including current trends and the progress of novel forms, especially with respect to their application for the treatment of H. pylori infections.展开更多

For this purpose, ...This study aimed to reveal how amoxicillin(AMX) affected the microbial community and the spread mechanism of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs) in the AMX manufacture wastewater treatment system. For this purpose, a 1.47 L expanded granular sludge bed(EGSB) reactor was designed and run for 241 days treating artificial AMX manufacture wastewater. 454 pyrosequencing was applied to analyze functional microorganisms in the system. The antibiotic genes OXA_(-1), OXA_(-2), OXA_(-10), TEM_(-1), CTX-M_(-1), class I integrons(intI1) and 16 SrRNA genes were also examined in sludge samples. The results showed that the genera Ignavibacterium, Phocoenobacter,Spirochaeta, Aminobacterium and Cloacibacillus contributed to the degradation of different organic compounds(such as various sugars and amines). And the relative quantification of eachβ-lactam resistance gene in the study was changed with the increasing of AMX concentration.Furthermore the vertical gene transfer was the main driver for the spread of ARGs rather than horizontal transfer pathways in the system.展开更多

The expander and the compressor are connected to the same shaft and integrated into one unit, with the latter being driven by the former, thus the transfer loss and leakage loss can be decreased greatly. In these systems, the expander can be either connected with the first stage compressor (shortened as DCDL cycle) or the second stage compressor (shortened as DCDH cycle), but the two configuration ways can get different performances. By setting up theoretical model for two kinds of expander configuration ways in the transcritical carbon dioxide two-stage compression cycle, the first and the second laws of thermodynamics are used to analyze the coefficient of performance, exergy efficiency, inter-stage pressure, discharge temperature and exergy losses of each component for the two cycles. From the model results, the performance of DCDH cycle is better than that of DCDL cycle. The analysis results are indispensable to providing a theoretical basis for practical design and operating.展开更多

Gastroesophageal reflux is a common adverse outcome after placement of esophageal stent for cancer involving the gastroesophageal junction and the gastric cardia. Anti-reflux stents with valve have been designed to prevent the acid reflux. The superiority of anti-reflux stent over standard stent in preventing gastroesophageal reflux has not been established well. This study compares the anti-reflux stent and the standard stent in terms of their efficacy to prevent acid reflux.AIM To compare the standard and the anti-reflux stents in terms of their efficacy,safety, and complications.METHODS The meta-analysis included 8 randomized clinical trials(RCTs) to compare pooled outcomes of total 395 patients. Primary outcomes include improvement in reflux symptoms and dysphagia score. Secondary outcomes include complications of stent migration, occlusion, and bleeding.RESULTS A total of eight RCTs were included in the meta-analysis. Compared to the standard stent, the anti-reflux stent showed a trend towards reduction in the dysphagia score without reaching a statistical significance [Standardized mean difference(SMD):-0.33(-0.71, 0.05); P = 0.09, I2: 37%]. There was no statistical difference in the gastrointestinal reflux(GER) scores between the two types of stents [SMD:-0.17(-0.78, 0.45); P = 0.008, I2: 74%]. Compared to standard stent,anti-reflux stent showed no difference in the risk of stent migration [OR: 1.37(0.66, 2.83); P = 0.40, I2: 0 %], bleeding [OR: 1.43(0.40, 5.13); P = 0.59, I2: 0 %], and obstruction [OR: 1.66(0.60, 4.60); P = 0.33, I2: 0 %].CONCLUSION Traditional self-expanding standard esophageal stent and anti-reflux stent with valve are similar in terms of outcomes and complications.展开更多
To improve the coefficient of performance (COP) of CO2 transcritical reverse cycle and determine the most efficient cycle, comparison analysis on (single-and) two-stage CO2 transcritical cycles with internal heat ...To improve the coefficient of performance (COP) of CO2 transcritical reverse cycle and determine the most efficient cycle, comparison analysis on (single-and) two-stage CO2 transcritical cycles with internal heat exchanger (IHX) or expander is presented adopting the principle of thermodynamics. Results indicate that the COP of four cycles,namely single-stage compression with IHX (SI), single-stage compression with expander (SE), two-stage compression with IHX (TI) and two-stage compression with expander (TE), can be ranged as TE>SE>TI>SI. It presents that adopting an expander to recover expansion power is the primary method to improve the COP of CO2 transcritical reverse cycle if the efficiency of the expander is up to a certain value. Under supposed operating condition, where the outlet temperature of gas cooler is 35 ℃ and the evaporating temperature is 5 ℃, the COP of TE cycle is about 4200 higher than that of SI cycle when the expander efficiency is 0.6 and the degree of superheat of IHX is 15 ℃. Therefore TE cycle is the most recommendatory one and it is better to adopt TE in those high-cooling capacity systems because its technology cost will be higher.展开更多
Background:Plasma expanders are widely used for acute normovolemic hemodilution(ANH).However,existing studies have not focused on large-volume infusion with colloidal plasma expanders,and there is a lack of studies th...Background:Plasma expanders are widely used for acute normovolemic hemodilution(ANH).However,existing studies have not focused on large-volume infusion with colloidal plasma expanders,and there is a lack of studies that compare the effects of different plasma expanders.Methods:The viscosity,hydrodynamic radius(Rh)and colloid osmotic pressure(COP)of plasma expanders were determined by a cone-plate viscometer,Zetasizer and cut-off membrane,respectively.Sixty male rats were randomized into five groups with Gelofusine(Gel),Hydroxyethyl Starch 200/0.5(HES200),Hydroxyethyl Starch 130/0.4(HES130),Hydroxyethyl Starch 40(HES40),and Dextran 40(Dex40),with 12 rats used in each group to build the ANH model.ANH was performed by the withdrawal of blood and simultaneous infusion of plasma expanders.Acid-base,lactate,blood gas and physiological parameters were detected.Results:Gel had a lower intrinsic viscosity than HES200 and HES130(P<0.01),but at a low shear rate in a mixture of colloids,red cells and plasma,Gel had a higher viscosity(P<0.05 or P<0.01,respectively).For hydroxyethyl starch plasma expanders,the COP at a certain concentration decreases from 11.1 mmHg to 6.1 mmHg with the increase of Rh from 10.7 nm to 20.2 nm.A severe ANH model,with the hematocrit of 40%of the baseline level,was established and accompanied by disturbances in acid-base,lactate and blood gas parameters.At the end of ANH and 60 min afterward,the Dex40 group showed a worse outcome in maintaining the acid-base balance and systemic oxygenation compared to the other groups.The systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),and mean arterial pressure(MAP)decreased significantly in all groups at the end of ANH.The DBP and MAP in the Dex40 group further decreased 60 min after the end of ANH.During the process of ANH,the Dex40 group showed a drop and recovery in SBP,DBP and MAP.The DBP and MAP in the HES200 group were significantly higher than those in the other groups at some time points(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions:Gel had a low intrinsic viscosity but may increase the whole blood viscosity at low shear rates.Rh and COP showed a strong correlation among hydroxyethyl starch plasma expanders.Dex40 showed a worse outcome in maintaining the acid-base balance and systemic oxygenation compared to the other plasma expanders.During the process of ANH,Dex40 displayed a V-shaped recovery pattern for blood pressure,and HES200 had the advantage in sustaining the DBP and MAP at some time points.展开更多

Then we expand some differential operators presented in the paper to deduce two types of expanding dynamical models. By taking the generalized Burgers dynamical system as an example, we deform its expanding model to get a half-expanding system, whose recurrence operator is derived from Lax representation, and its Hamiltonian structure is also obtained by adopting a new way. Finally, we expand the generalized Burgers dynamical system to the (29-1)-dimensional case whose Hamiltonian structure is derived by Poisson tensor and gradient of the Casimir function. Besides, a kind of (29-1)-dimensional expanding dynamical model of the (29-1)-dimensionaJ dynamical system is generated as well.展开更多

Improvement of measurement precision and repeatability is one of the issues currently faced by the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique, which is expected to be capable of precise and accurate quant...Improvement of measurement precision and repeatability is one of the issues currently faced by the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique, which is expected to be capable of precise and accurate quantitative analysis. It was found that there was great potential to improve the signal quality and repeatability by reducing the laser beam divergence angle using a suitable beam expander (BE). In the present work, the influences of several experimental parameters for the case with BE are studied in order to optimize the analytical performances: the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and the relative standard deviation (RSD). We demonstrate that by selecting the optimal experimental parameters, the BE-included LIBS setup can give higher SNR and lower RSD values of the line intensity normalized by the whole spectrum area. For validation purposes, support vector machine (SVM) regression combined with principal component analysis (PCA) was used to establish a calibration model to realize the quantitative analysis of the ash content. Good agreement has been found between the laboratory measurement results from the LIBS method and those from the traditional method. The measurement accuracy presented here for ash content analysis is estimated to be 0.31%, while the average relative error is 2.36%.展开更多

Since the dynamics of the coupled tanks system can be formulated as a nonlinear system, determination of the optimal water level in the tanks is useful for the operation decision. On this point of view, the coupled tanks system dynamics is usually linearized to give the steady state operating height. In our approach, a model-based optimal control problem, which is adding with adjusted parameters, is considered to obtain the true operating height of the real coupled tanks system. During the computation procedure, the differences between the real plant and the model used are measured repeatedly, where the optimal solution of the model used is updated. On this basis, system optimization and parameter estimation are integrated. At the end of the iteration, the iterative solution approximates to the correct optimal solution of the original optimal control problem, in spite of model-reality differences. In conclusion, the efficiency of the approach proposed is shown.展开更多

文摘Sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors(SGLT2i),including empagliflozin,dapagliflozin,and canagliflozin,are now widely approved antihyperglycemic therapies.Although initially considered to be only glucose-lowering agents,the effects of SGLT2i have expanded far beyond that,and their use is now being studied in the treatment of heart failure and chronic kidney disease,even in patients without diabetes.Because of their unique glycosuric mechanism,SGLT2i also reduce weight.Perhaps more important are the osmotic diuretic and natriuretic effects contributing to plasma volume contraction,and decreases in systolic and diastolic blood pressures by 4 to 6 and 1 to 2 mm Hg,respectively,which may underlie cardiovascular and kidney benefits.

文摘Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is one of the most common pathogenic bacterial infections and is found in the stomachs of approximately half of the world’s population. It is the primary known cause of gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer disease and gastric cancer. However, combined drug therapy as the general treatment in the clinic, the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, adverse reactions and poor patient compliance are major obstacles to the eradication of H. pylori. Oral site-specific drug delivery systems that could increase the longevity of the treatment agent at the target site might improve the therapeutic effect and avoid side effects. Gastroretentive drug delivery systems potentially prolong the gastric retention time and controlled/sustained release of a drug, thereby increasing the concentration of the drug at the application site, potentially improving its bioavailability and reducing the necessary dosage. Recommended gastroretentive drug delivery systems for enhancing local drug delivery include floating systems, bioadhesive systems and expandable systems. In this review, we summarize the important physiological parameters of the gastrointestinal tract that affect the gastric residence time. We then focus on various aspects useful in the development of gastroretentive drug delivery systems, including current trends and the progress of novel forms, especially with respect to their application for the treatment of H. pylori infections.

文摘This study aimed to reveal how amoxicillin(AMX) affected the microbial community and the spread mechanism of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs) in the AMX manufacture wastewater treatment system. For this purpose, a 1.47 L expanded granular sludge bed(EGSB) reactor was designed and run for 241 days treating artificial AMX manufacture wastewater. 454 pyrosequencing was applied to analyze functional microorganisms in the system. The antibiotic genes OXA_(-1), OXA_(-2), OXA_(-10), TEM_(-1), CTX-M_(-1), class I integrons(intI1) and 16 SrRNA genes were also examined in sludge samples. The results showed that the genera Ignavibacterium, Phocoenobacter,Spirochaeta, Aminobacterium and Cloacibacillus contributed to the degradation of different organic compounds(such as various sugars and amines). And the relative quantification of eachβ-lactam resistance gene in the study was changed with the increasing of AMX concentration.Furthermore the vertical gene transfer was the main driver for the spread of ARGs rather than horizontal transfer pathways in the system.
文摘To investigate the configuration consideration of expander in transcritical carbon dioxide two-stage compression cycle, the best place in the cycle should be searched for to reinvest the recovery work so as to improve the system efficiency. The expander and the compressor are connected to the same shaft and integrated into one unit, with the latter being driven by the former, thus the transfer loss and leakage loss can be decreased greatly. In these systems, the expander can be either connected with the first stage compressor (shortened as DCDL cycle) or the second stage compressor (shortened as DCDH cycle), but the two configuration ways can get different performances. By setting up theoretical model for two kinds of expander configuration ways in the transcritical carbon dioxide two-stage compression cycle, the first and the second laws of thermodynamics are used to analyze the coefficient of performance, exergy efficiency, inter-stage pressure, discharge temperature and exergy losses of each component for the two cycles. From the model results, the performance of DCDH cycle is better than that of DCDL cycle. The analysis results are indispensable to providing a theoretical basis for practical design and operating.

文摘We construct the grand partition function of the system of massive Dirac fermions in a uniform magnetic field from Landau levels,through which all thermodynamic quantities can be obtained.Making use of the Abel–Plana formula,these thermodynamic quantities can be expanded as power series with respect to the dimensionless variable𝑏b=2eB/T^(2).The zero-field magnetic susceptibility is expanded at zero mass,and the leading order term is logarithmic.We also calculate scalar,vector current,axial vector current and energy-momentum tensor of the system through ensemble average approach.Mass correction to chiral separation effect is discussed.For massless chiral fermions,our results recover the chiral magnetic effect for right-and left-handed fermions,as well as chiral separation effect.
文摘BACKGROUND Self-expanding metal stents are the main palliative treatment modality for unresectable esophageal cancer. Gastroesophageal reflux is a common adverse outcome after placement of esophageal stent for cancer involving the gastroesophageal junction and the gastric cardia. Anti-reflux stents with valve have been designed to prevent the acid reflux. The superiority of anti-reflux stent over standard stent in preventing gastroesophageal reflux has not been established well. This study compares the anti-reflux stent and the standard stent in terms of their efficacy to prevent acid reflux.AIM To compare the standard and the anti-reflux stents in terms of their efficacy,safety, and complications.METHODS The meta-analysis included 8 randomized clinical trials(RCTs) to compare pooled outcomes of total 395 patients. Primary outcomes include improvement in reflux symptoms and dysphagia score. Secondary outcomes include complications of stent migration, occlusion, and bleeding.RESULTS A total of eight RCTs were included in the meta-analysis. Compared to the standard stent, the anti-reflux stent showed a trend towards reduction in the dysphagia score without reaching a statistical significance [Standardized mean difference(SMD):-0.33(-0.71, 0.05); P = 0.09, I2: 37%]. There was no statistical difference in the gastrointestinal reflux(GER) scores between the two types of stents [SMD:-0.17(-0.78, 0.45); P = 0.008, I2: 74%]. Compared to standard stent,anti-reflux stent showed no difference in the risk of stent migration [OR: 1.37(0.66, 2.83); P = 0.40, I2: 0 %], bleeding [OR: 1.43(0.40, 5.13); P = 0.59, I2: 0 %], and obstruction [OR: 1.66(0.60, 4.60); P = 0.33, I2: 0 %].CONCLUSION Traditional self-expanding standard esophageal stent and anti-reflux stent with valve are similar in terms of outcomes and complications.
文摘To improve the coefficient of performance (COP) of CO2 transcritical reverse cycle and determine the most efficient cycle, comparison analysis on (single-and) two-stage CO2 transcritical cycles with internal heat exchanger (IHX) or expander is presented adopting the principle of thermodynamics. Results indicate that the COP of four cycles,namely single-stage compression with IHX (SI), single-stage compression with expander (SE), two-stage compression with IHX (TI) and two-stage compression with expander (TE), can be ranged as TE>SE>TI>SI. It presents that adopting an expander to recover expansion power is the primary method to improve the COP of CO2 transcritical reverse cycle if the efficiency of the expander is up to a certain value. Under supposed operating condition, where the outlet temperature of gas cooler is 35 ℃ and the evaporating temperature is 5 ℃, the COP of TE cycle is about 4200 higher than that of SI cycle when the expander efficiency is 0.6 and the degree of superheat of IHX is 15 ℃. Therefore TE cycle is the most recommendatory one and it is better to adopt TE in those high-cooling capacity systems because its technology cost will be higher.

文摘Background:Plasma expanders are widely used for acute normovolemic hemodilution(ANH).However,existing studies have not focused on large-volume infusion with colloidal plasma expanders,and there is a lack of studies that compare the effects of different plasma expanders.Methods:The viscosity,hydrodynamic radius(Rh)and colloid osmotic pressure(COP)of plasma expanders were determined by a cone-plate viscometer,Zetasizer and cut-off membrane,respectively.Sixty male rats were randomized into five groups with Gelofusine(Gel),Hydroxyethyl Starch 200/0.5(HES200),Hydroxyethyl Starch 130/0.4(HES130),Hydroxyethyl Starch 40(HES40),and Dextran 40(Dex40),with 12 rats used in each group to build the ANH model.ANH was performed by the withdrawal of blood and simultaneous infusion of plasma expanders.Acid-base,lactate,blood gas and physiological parameters were detected.Results:Gel had a lower intrinsic viscosity than HES200 and HES130(P<0.01),but at a low shear rate in a mixture of colloids,red cells and plasma,Gel had a higher viscosity(P<0.05 or P<0.01,respectively).For hydroxyethyl starch plasma expanders,the COP at a certain concentration decreases from 11.1 mmHg to 6.1 mmHg with the increase of Rh from 10.7 nm to 20.2 nm.A severe ANH model,with the hematocrit of 40%of the baseline level,was established and accompanied by disturbances in acid-base,lactate and blood gas parameters.At the end of ANH and 60 min afterward,the Dex40 group showed a worse outcome in maintaining the acid-base balance and systemic oxygenation compared to the other groups.The systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),and mean arterial pressure(MAP)decreased significantly in all groups at the end of ANH.The DBP and MAP in the Dex40 group further decreased 60 min after the end of ANH.During the process of ANH,the Dex40 group showed a drop and recovery in SBP,DBP and MAP.The DBP and MAP in the HES200 group were significantly higher than those in the other groups at some time points(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions:Gel had a low intrinsic viscosity but may increase the whole blood viscosity at low shear rates.Rh and COP showed a strong correlation among hydroxyethyl starch plasma expanders.Dex40 showed a worse outcome in maintaining the acid-base balance and systemic oxygenation compared to the other plasma expanders.During the process of ANH,Dex40 displayed a V-shaped recovery pattern for blood pressure,and HES200 had the advantage in sustaining the DBP and MAP at some time points.
文摘BACKGROUND High-riding nipple is one of the common complications after mastopexty and breast reconstruction.However,to date,a limited number of techniques have concentrated on how to lower the high-riding nipple with enlarged areola.CASE SUMMARY This is a case report describing a combination of surgical techniques to decrease high-riding nipple.A 26-year-old woman,who previously underwent several breast operations,sought correction for high-riding nipple with enlarged areola.Expanders were used and multi-stage techniques were performed.After one year of follow-up,lowered nipple,reduced areola size,ensured nipple blood supply,and improved breast ptosis were achieved,and the patient was satisfied with the breast contour.CONCLUSION The proposed technique offers a feasible treatment option for postoperative nipple over-elevation combined with areola dilation.

文摘We extend two known dynamical systems obtained by Blaszak, et al. via choosing Casimir functions and utilizing Novikov-Lax equation so that a series of novel dynamical systems including generalized Burgers dynamical system, heat equation, and so on, are followed to be generated. Then we expand some differential operators presented in the paper to deduce two types of expanding dynamical models. By taking the generalized Burgers dynamical system as an example, we deform its expanding model to get a half-expanding system, whose recurrence operator is derived from Lax representation, and its Hamiltonian structure is also obtained by adopting a new way. Finally, we expand the generalized Burgers dynamical system to the (29-1)-dimensional case whose Hamiltonian structure is derived by Poisson tensor and gradient of the Casimir function. Besides, a kind of (29-1)-dimensional expanding dynamical model of the (29-1)-dimensionaJ dynamical system is generated as well.

文摘We propose a method suitable for the fast calculation and evaluation of aberration-induced intensity distribution in partially coherent imaging systems,such as projection lithographic tools.The method is based on transmission cross coefficient(TCC)decomposition by a general operator,namely cross triple correlation(CTC).By expanding the aberrated pupil function into a Taylor series,the TCC is decomposed into different terms.Each term is further represented as a weighted sum of several CTCs.By exploring the properties of CTC,the aerial image intensity induced by wavefront aberration is calculated quickly and separated clearly from that without aberration.Simulation results and discussion are presented.

文摘Improvement of measurement precision and repeatability is one of the issues currently faced by the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique, which is expected to be capable of precise and accurate quantitative analysis. It was found that there was great potential to improve the signal quality and repeatability by reducing the laser beam divergence angle using a suitable beam expander (BE). In the present work, the influences of several experimental parameters for the case with BE are studied in order to optimize the analytical performances: the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and the relative standard deviation (RSD). We demonstrate that by selecting the optimal experimental parameters, the BE-included LIBS setup can give higher SNR and lower RSD values of the line intensity normalized by the whole spectrum area. For validation purposes, support vector machine (SVM) regression combined with principal component analysis (PCA) was used to establish a calibration model to realize the quantitative analysis of the ash content. Good agreement has been found between the laboratory measurement results from the LIBS method and those from the traditional method. The measurement accuracy presented here for ash content analysis is estimated to be 0.31%, while the average relative error is 2.36%.
文摘In this paper, an expanded optimal control policy is proposed to study the coupled tanks system, where the random disturbance is added into the system. Since the dynamics of the coupled tanks system can be formulated as a nonlinear system, determination of the optimal water level in the tanks is useful for the operation decision. On this point of view, the coupled tanks system dynamics is usually linearized to give the steady state operating height. In our approach, a model-based optimal control problem, which is adding with adjusted parameters, is considered to obtain the true operating height of the real coupled tanks system. During the computation procedure, the differences between the real plant and the model used are measured repeatedly, where the optimal solution of the model used is updated. On this basis, system optimization and parameter estimation are integrated. At the end of the iteration, the iterative solution approximates to the correct optimal solution of the original optimal control problem, in spite of model-reality differences. In conclusion, the efficiency of the approach proposed is shown.
