Confronting the situation of China’s entry into WTO, all county/tomnship - run enterprises should analyze their own distinguishing features and then develop the strong points and discard weak ones. Generally the county/township run enterprises are labor - intensive and resource - intensive ones and noted for their close relation with agriculture, countryside and farmers with relatively low technology and management level. Therefore, after China’s entry into WTO, labor - intensive and resource - intensive features of these enterprises should be brought into full play, and they should devote major efforts to the processing of agricultural and sideline products and to make more foreign exchange. They would also make best use of the opportunities of seeking foreign fund and importing raw materials at lower prices. What’s more the county/township- run enterprises should mainly reply upon themselves and improve their management so as to be more creative and competitive. The enterprise structure should also be adjusted and more attention be paid to the cultivation of talent people.展开更多
