Aqueous iron-ion batteries are regarded as one of the most promising candidates for grid applications owing to their low cost,high theoretical capacity,and excellent stability of iron in aqueous electrolytes.However,t...Aqueous iron-ion batteries are regarded as one of the most promising candidates for grid applications owing to their low cost,high theoretical capacity,and excellent stability of iron in aqueous electrolytes.However,the slow Fe(de)insertion caused by the high polarity of Fe^(2+)makes it difficult to match suitable cathode materials.Herein,defect-rich MoS_(2)with abundant 1T phase is synthesized and successfully applied in aqueous iron-ion batteries.Benefit from abundant active sites generated by the heteroatom incorporation and S vacancy,as well as the highly conductive 1T phase,it can deliver a specific capacity of 123 mAh/g at a current density of 100mA/g,and demonstrates an impressive capacity retention of 88%after 600 cycles at 200mA/g.This work presents a novel pathway for the advancement of cathode materials for aqueous iron-ion batteries.展开更多

Noise pollution is one of the most significant harmful physical factors in the industrial and occupational environments.Due to the high costs of exposure to excessive noise;continuous sound evaluation,propose and impl...Noise pollution is one of the most significant harmful physical factors in the industrial and occupational environments.Due to the high costs of exposure to excessive noise;continuous sound evaluation,propose and implement noise control plans in occupational environments is necessary.Thus,the present study aimed to review environmental sound measurements,drawing of noise maps,and prioritizing the engineering noise control methods using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).This study was a descriptive-analytical study that aimed to assess occupational noises and present a control plan in the City Gas Stations(CGSs)of Kerman,Iran in 2021.The present study was done in two phases.In the first phase,six CGSs were investigated to measure and evaluate the noise.In addition,the noise map of a CGS was drawn using the Surfer software.Finally,the AHP was used in the second phase of the research to prioritize the control measures.In this phase,four criteria and ten alternatives were identified.According to first phase results,the sound pressure level(SPL)of the stations varied from 76 to 98 dBA.Besides,the majority of the studied stations had a sound level higher than 85 dBA(danger zone).The second phase of the study showed that out of the four evaluated criteria,the executability criterion had the highest impact and the cost criterion had the lowest impact on the selection of control measures with a weight of 0.587 and 0.052,respectively.Based on the results of prioritization of the alternatives,using a silenced regulator(weight of 0.223)and increasing the thickness of the tube(weight of 0.023)had the highest and lowest priorities among the alternatives,respectively.The use of engineering noise control methods such as using silenced regulators was the best way to control the noises of CGSs.Additionally;it is noteworthy that AHP is a practical method for prioritizing alternatives to achieve the most accurate decision-making.The results of AHP can be of great help to health and safety experts and managers in choosing the sound engineering control measures more precisely.展开更多

In this work, the Raman spectra of monolayer ReS2 with external strain are determined theoretically based on the density function theory. Due to the lower structural symmetry, deformation induced by external strain can only regulate the Raman mode intensity but cannot lead to Raman mode shifts. Traditional centralized Proportional Integral(PI)controller design methods based on Equivalent Transfer Functions(ETFs)have poor decoupling effect in turboprop engines.In this paper,a centralized PI design method base...Traditional centralized Proportional Integral(PI)controller design methods based on Equivalent Transfer Functions(ETFs)have poor decoupling effect in turboprop engines.In this paper,a centralized PI design method based on dynamic imaginary matrix and equivalent transfer function is proposed.Firstly,a method for solving equivalent transfer functions based on the dynamic imaginary matrix is proposed,which adopts dynamic imaginary matrix to describe the dynamic characteristics of the system,and obtains the equivalent transfer function based on the dynamic imaginary matrix characteristics.Secondly,for the equivalent transfer function,a central-ized PI control gain is designed using the Taylor expansion method.Meanwhile,this paper further proves that the centralized PI design method proposed in this paper has integral stability.Consid-ering the impact of altitude and Mach number on turboprop engines,a linear feedforward control method based on the transfer function matrix is further proposed based on the centralized PI con-troller,and the stability of the entire comprehensive control method is proved.Finally,to ensure the safe and effective operation of the turboprop engine,a temperature and torque limiting protection controller is designed for the turboprop engine.Simulation results show that the centralized PI con-troller design method and linear feedforward control method proposed can effectively improve the control quality of turboprop engine control systems.展开更多

The reliability of an Engine Electronic Controller(EEC)attracts attention,which has a critical impact on aircraft engine safety.Reliability assessment is an important part of the design phase.However,the complex compo...The reliability of an Engine Electronic Controller(EEC)attracts attention,which has a critical impact on aircraft engine safety.Reliability assessment is an important part of the design phase.However,the complex composition of EEC and the characteristic of the Phased-Mission System(PMS)lead to the difficulty of assessment.This paper puts forward an advanced approach,considering the complex products and uncertain mission profiles to evaluate the Mean Time Between Failures(MTBF)in the design phase.The failure mechanisms of complex components are deduced by Bayesian Deep Learning(BDL)intelligent algorithm.And copious samples of reliability simulation are solved by cloud computing technology.Based on the result of BDL and cloud computing,simulations are conducted with the Physics of Failure(Po F)theory and Failure Behavior Model(FBM).This reliability assessment approach can evaluate MTBF of electronic products without reference to physical tests.Finally,an EEC is applied to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the method.展开更多

The problem of decreasing stability margins in L1 adaptive control systems is discussed and an out-of-loop L1 adaptive control scheme based on Lyapunov’s stability theorem is proposed.This scheme enhances the effecti...The problem of decreasing stability margins in L1 adaptive control systems is discussed and an out-of-loop L1 adaptive control scheme based on Lyapunov’s stability theorem is proposed.This scheme enhances the effectiveness of the adaptation,which ensures that the system has suffi-cient stability margins to achieve the desired performance under parametric uncertainty,additional delays,and actuator faults.The stability of the developed control system is demonstrated through a series of simulations.Compared with an existing control scheme,the constant adjustment of the sta-bility margins by the proposed adaptive scheme allows their range to be extended by a factor of 4–5,bringing the stability margin close to that of variable gain PD control with adaptively scheduled gains.The engineered practicability of adaptive technology is verified.A series of flight tests verify the practicability of the designed adaptive technology.The results of these tests demonstrate the enhanced performance of the proposed control scheme with nonlinear parameter estimations under insufficient stability margins and validate its robustness in the event of actuator failures.展开更多

Beginning with the jacket skirt pile grouting construction scheme, grouting pressure is estimated on the basis of engineering fluid mechanics theory and variable frequency control technique. Programmable logic controller is the center of grouting pressure control system, which accomplishes the flow control of cement buffer tank, water buffer tank, additive buffer tank, cement metering tank, water metering tank, additive metering tank, mixer and agitator. Based on PROFIBUS-DP network, the output pressure of the slurry pump is controlled by the inverter. The reduction of fuel consumption in engines is always considered of vital importance.Along these lines,in this work,this goal was attained by optimizing the heavy-duty commercial vehicle engine control strategy.More ...The reduction of fuel consumption in engines is always considered of vital importance.Along these lines,in this work,this goal was attained by optimizing the heavy-duty commercial vehicle engine control strategy.More specifically,at first,a general first principles model for heavy-duty commercial vehicles and a transient fuel consumptionmodel for heavy-duty commercial vehicles were developed and the parameters were adjusted to fit the empirical data.The accuracy of the proposed modelwas demonstrated fromthe stage and the final results.Next,the control optimization problem resulting in low fuel consumption in heavy commercial vehicles was described,with minimal fuel usage as the optimization goal and throttle opening as the control variable.Then,a time-continuous engine management approach was assessed.Next,the factors that influence low fuel consumption in heavy-duty commercial vehicles were systematically examined.To reduce the computing complexity,the control strategies related to the time constraints of the engine were parametrized using three different methods.The most effective solution was obtained by applying a global optimization strategy because the constrained optimization problem was nonlinear.Finally,the effectiveness of the low-fuel consumption engine control strategy was demonstrated by comparing the simulated and field test results.展开更多
A new hybrid control scheme is presented with a robust multiple model fusion control(RMMFC) law for a UH-60 helicopter and an active disturbance rejection control(ADRC) controller for its engines.This scheme is a ...A new hybrid control scheme is presented with a robust multiple model fusion control(RMMFC) law for a UH-60 helicopter and an active disturbance rejection control(ADRC) controller for its engines.This scheme is a control design method with every subsystem designed separately but fully considering the couplings between them.With three subspaces with respect to forward flight velocity,a RMMFC is proposed to devise a four-loop reference signal tracing control for the helicopter,which escapes the closed-loop system from unstable state due to the extreme complexity of this integrated nonlinear system.The engines are controlled by the proposed ADRC decoupling controller,which fully takes advantage of a good compensation ability for unmodeled dynamics and extra disturbances,so as to compensate torque disturbance in power turbine speed loop.By simulating a forward acceleration flight task,the RMMFC for the helicopter is validated.It is apparent that the integrated helicopter and engine system(IHES) has much better dynamic performance under the new control scheme.Especially in the switching process,the large transient is significantly weakened,and smooth transition among candidate controllers is achieved.Over the entire simulation task,the droop of power turbine speed with the proposed ADRC controller is significantly slighter than with the conventional PID controller,and the response time of the former is much faster than the latter.By simulating a rapid climb and descent flight task,the results also show the feasibility for the application of the proposed multiple model fusion control.Although there is aggressive power demand in this maneuver,the droop of power turbine speed with an ADRC controller is smaller than using a PID controller.The control performance for helicopter and engine is enhanced by adopting this hybrid control scheme,and simulation results in other envelope state give proofs of robustness for this new scheme.展开更多

In this paper, the time-triggered and state-machine combination software architecture is implemented for a 25 kg thrust micro turbine engine (MTE) used for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system; also model-based-design development workflow for airworthiness software directive DO-178B is utilized. Experimental results show that time-triggered state-machine software architecture and development method could shorten the system development time, reduce the system test cost and make the turbine engine easily comply with the airworthiness rules.展开更多

The aircraft engine multi-loop control system is firstly described and the control problems are formulated. Secondly, the theory of the smooth switching control is devoted and a new extended scheme for the smooth switching of a switched control system is introduced. Then, for the key technologies of aero-engines switching control, a design algorithm is presented which can determine which candidate controller should be put in feedback with the plant to achieve a desired performance and the procedure to design the aircraft engine multi-loop control system is detailed. The switching performance objectives and the switching scheme are given and a family of PID controllers and compensators is designed. The simulation shows that using the switching control design method can not only improve the dynamic performance of the aircraft engine control system and reduce the switching times, but also guarantee the stability in some peculiar occasions.展开更多

Thermodynamic characteristics are of great importance for the performance of a high-temperature flow-rate control valve,as high-temperature environment may bring problems,such as blocking of spool and increasing of le...Thermodynamic characteristics are of great importance for the performance of a high-temperature flow-rate control valve,as high-temperature environment may bring problems,such as blocking of spool and increasing of leakage,to the valve.In this paper,a high-temperature flow-rate control valve,pilot-controlled by a pneumatic servo system is developed to control the fuel supply for scramjet engines.After introducing the construction and working principle,the thermodynamic mathematical models of the valve are built based on the heat transfer methods inside the valve.By using different boundary conditions,different methods of simulations are carried out and compared.The steady-state and transient temperature field distribution inside the valve body are predicted and temperatures at five interested points are measured.By comparing the simulation and experimental results,a reasonable 3D finite element analysis method is suggested to predict the thermodynamic characteristics of the high-temperature flow-rate control valve.展开更多

文摘This article aims to enhance seismic hazard assessment methods for Kazakhstan’s seismotectonic conditions.It combines probabilistic seismic hazard analysis(PSHA),ground motion simulation,sitespecific geological and geotechnical data analysis,and seismic scenario analysis to develop Probabilistic General Seismic Zoning(GSZ)maps for Kazakhstan and Probabilistic Seismic Microzoning maps for Almaty.These maps align with Eurocode 8 principles,incorporating seismic intensity and engineering parameters like peak ground acceleration(PGA).The new procedure,applied in national projects,has resulted in GSZ maps for the country,seismic microzoning maps for Almaty,and detailed seismic zoning maps for East Kazakhstan.These maps,part of a regulatory document,guide earthquake-resistant design and construction.They offer a comprehensive assessment of seismic hazards,integrating traditional Medvedev-Sponheuer-Karnik(MSK-64)intensity scale points with quantitative parameters like peak ground acceleration.This innovative approach promises to advance methods for quantifying seismic hazards in specific regions.

文摘The reliability of an Engine Electronic Controller(EEC)attracts attention,which has a critical impact on aircraft engine safety.Reliability assessment is an important part of the design phase.However,the complex composition of EEC and the characteristic of the Phased-Mission System(PMS)lead to the difficulty of assessment.This paper puts forward an advanced approach,considering the complex products and uncertain mission profiles to evaluate the Mean Time Between Failures(MTBF)in the design phase.The failure mechanisms of complex components are deduced by Bayesian Deep Learning(BDL)intelligent algorithm.And copious samples of reliability simulation are solved by cloud computing technology.Based on the result of BDL and cloud computing,simulations are conducted with the Physics of Failure(Po F)theory and Failure Behavior Model(FBM).This reliability assessment approach can evaluate MTBF of electronic products without reference to physical tests.Finally,an EEC is applied to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the method.
文摘Networked control system is new hot-point in control engineering. A new delayed model for networked control systems is presented, based on which an LQR controller is designed. A method of delays estimation online is also given. For the difficulty on implementation of LQR in NCSs with time-variant delays, the Mamdani intelligent logic with LQR controller is addressed. The stability of the networked control system is also given. Simulation results prove that the novel controller can make the system stable and robustly preserve the performance in terms of time-variant delays.

文摘The problem of decreasing stability margins in L1 adaptive control systems is discussed and an out-of-loop L1 adaptive control scheme based on Lyapunov’s stability theorem is proposed.This scheme enhances the effectiveness of the adaptation,which ensures that the system has suffi-cient stability margins to achieve the desired performance under parametric uncertainty,additional delays,and actuator faults.The stability of the developed control system is demonstrated through a series of simulations.Compared with an existing control scheme,the constant adjustment of the sta-bility margins by the proposed adaptive scheme allows their range to be extended by a factor of 4–5,bringing the stability margin close to that of variable gain PD control with adaptively scheduled gains.The engineered practicability of adaptive technology is verified.A series of flight tests verify the practicability of the designed adaptive technology.The results of these tests demonstrate the enhanced performance of the proposed control scheme with nonlinear parameter estimations under insufficient stability margins and validate its robustness in the event of actuator failures.
文摘Automotive engine control has been continuously improved due to the strong demands from the society and the market since introducing electronic controls but not always following control theories. Therefore, it is not easy for researchers from academia and even engineers from the automotive industry to grasp the whole aspect of engine control. To encounter the issue, important features of engine control are extracted and generalized from the standpoint of control engineering. Comparisons of the control and model predictive control (MPC) showed an outstanding performance of the control generalized from engine controls and how to apply MPC in the framework.

文摘Deep-water jacket skirt pile grouting is a critical step in ocean platform construction. Because of the complexity of the skirt pile structure and grouting pipeline, the calculation of grouting pressure and the control of output pressure are involved. Beginning with the jacket skirt pile grouting construction scheme, grouting pressure is estimated on the basis of engineering fluid mechanics theory and variable frequency control technique. Programmable logic controller is the center of grouting pressure control system, which accomplishes the flow control of cement buffer tank, water buffer tank, additive buffer tank, cement metering tank, water metering tank, additive metering tank, mixer and agitator. Based on PROFIBUS-DP network, the output pressure of the slurry pump is controlled by the inverter. This method has been applied successfully in JZ20-2 Nor. high spot jacket platform construction.

文摘The reduction of fuel consumption in engines is always considered of vital importance.Along these lines,in this work,this goal was attained by optimizing the heavy-duty commercial vehicle engine control strategy.More specifically,at first,a general first principles model for heavy-duty commercial vehicles and a transient fuel consumptionmodel for heavy-duty commercial vehicles were developed and the parameters were adjusted to fit the empirical data.The accuracy of the proposed modelwas demonstrated fromthe stage and the final results.Next,the control optimization problem resulting in low fuel consumption in heavy commercial vehicles was described,with minimal fuel usage as the optimization goal and throttle opening as the control variable.Then,a time-continuous engine management approach was assessed.Next,the factors that influence low fuel consumption in heavy-duty commercial vehicles were systematically examined.To reduce the computing complexity,the control strategies related to the time constraints of the engine were parametrized using three different methods.The most effective solution was obtained by applying a global optimization strategy because the constrained optimization problem was nonlinear.Finally,the effectiveness of the low-fuel consumption engine control strategy was demonstrated by comparing the simulated and field test results.

文摘A new hybrid control scheme is presented with a robust multiple model fusion control(RMMFC) law for a UH-60 helicopter and an active disturbance rejection control(ADRC) controller for its engines.This scheme is a control design method with every subsystem designed separately but fully considering the couplings between them.With three subspaces with respect to forward flight velocity,a RMMFC is proposed to devise a four-loop reference signal tracing control for the helicopter,which escapes the closed-loop system from unstable state due to the extreme complexity of this integrated nonlinear system.The engines are controlled by the proposed ADRC decoupling controller,which fully takes advantage of a good compensation ability for unmodeled dynamics and extra disturbances,so as to compensate torque disturbance in power turbine speed loop.By simulating a forward acceleration flight task,the RMMFC for the helicopter is validated.It is apparent that the integrated helicopter and engine system(IHES) has much better dynamic performance under the new control scheme.Especially in the switching process,the large transient is significantly weakened,and smooth transition among candidate controllers is achieved.Over the entire simulation task,the droop of power turbine speed with the proposed ADRC controller is significantly slighter than with the conventional PID controller,and the response time of the former is much faster than the latter.By simulating a rapid climb and descent flight task,the results also show the feasibility for the application of the proposed multiple model fusion control.Although there is aggressive power demand in this maneuver,the droop of power turbine speed with an ADRC controller is smaller than using a PID controller.The control performance for helicopter and engine is enhanced by adopting this hybrid control scheme,and simulation results in other envelope state give proofs of robustness for this new scheme.
文摘Time-triggered (TT) embedded software pattern is well accepted in aerospace industry for its high reliability. Fi-nite-state-machine (FSM) design method is widely used for its high efficiency and predictable behavior. In this paper, the time-triggered and state-machine combination software architecture is implemented for a 25 kg thrust micro turbine engine (MTE) used for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system; also model-based-design development workflow for airworthiness software directive DO-178B is utilized. Experimental results show that time-triggered state-machine software architecture and development method could shorten the system development time, reduce the system test cost and make the turbine engine easily comply with the airworthiness rules.

文摘The aircraft engine multi-loop control system is described and the switching control theory is introduced to solve the regulating and protecting control problems in this paper. The aircraft engine multi-loop control system is firstly described and the control problems are formulated. Secondly, the theory of the smooth switching control is devoted and a new extended scheme for the smooth switching of a switched control system is introduced. Then, for the key technologies of aero-engines switching control, a design algorithm is presented which can determine which candidate controller should be put in feedback with the plant to achieve a desired performance and the procedure to design the aircraft engine multi-loop control system is detailed. The switching performance objectives and the switching scheme are given and a family of PID controllers and compensators is designed. The simulation shows that using the switching control design method can not only improve the dynamic performance of the aircraft engine control system and reduce the switching times, but also guarantee the stability in some peculiar occasions.
文摘Today’s vehicles use electronic control units(ECU) to control engine/transmission, body and other amenities. All the vehicle performance depends on a lot of physical values and influence factors. This leads to a large number of control and regulation parameters in the ECU software. The ultimate objective of calibration work is the optimum determination of these parameters. Qualitatively excellent results can only be achieved in a shorter time by using a highly efficient calibration system. This paper provided an overview of a new calibration tool based on KWP2000 and gave an example calibration with this tool.
文摘Thermodynamic characteristics are of great importance for the performance of a high-temperature flow-rate control valve,as high-temperature environment may bring problems,such as blocking of spool and increasing of leakage,to the valve.In this paper,a high-temperature flow-rate control valve,pilot-controlled by a pneumatic servo system is developed to control the fuel supply for scramjet engines.After introducing the construction and working principle,the thermodynamic mathematical models of the valve are built based on the heat transfer methods inside the valve.By using different boundary conditions,different methods of simulations are carried out and compared.The steady-state and transient temperature field distribution inside the valve body are predicted and temperatures at five interested points are measured.By comparing the simulation and experimental results,a reasonable 3D finite element analysis method is suggested to predict the thermodynamic characteristics of the high-temperature flow-rate control valve.
