English has obviously become the main working language on ocean-going ships. Apart from being able to communicate smoothly in English, the crew must also have certain writing and reading skills. "Marine Engineering English" is a professional course specially designed to improve engineers' reading and writing ability. Based on the characteristics of this course, this paper summarizes the representative grammatical structures and discusses how to improve reading comprehension through long sentence analysis.展开更多
