The detection sensitivity is shifted 52 times toward larger wavelength compared with that of laser interferometer space antenna (LISA). The mission orbits of the three spacecrafts forming a nearly equilateral triangular array are chosen to be near the Sun–Earth Lagrange points L3, L4, and L5. The three spacecrafts range interferometrically with one another with an arm length of about 260 million kilometers. In order to attain the required sensitivity for ASTROD-GW, laser frequency noise must be suppressed to below the secondary noises such as the optical path noise, acceleration noise, etc. For suppressing laser frequency noise, we need to use time delay interferometry (TDI) to match the two different optical paths (times of travel). Since planets and other solar-system bodies perturb the orbits of ASTROD-GW spacecraft and affect the TDI, we simulate the time delay numerically using CGC 2.7 (here, CGC stands for center for gravitation and cosmology) ephemeris framework. To conform to the ASTROD-GW planning, we work out a set of 20-year optimized mission orbits of ASTROD-GW spacecraft starting at June 21, 2028, and calculate the differences in optical path in the first and second generation TDIs separately for one-detector case. In our optimized mission orbits of 20 years, changes of arm lengths are less than 0.0003 AU; the relative Doppler velocities are all less than 3m/s. All the second generation TDI for one-detector case satisfies the ASTROD-GW requirement.展开更多

The LP/HCC signal ratios had a significant difference(F = 12.453, P < 0.001) among various HBP-DT points, as well as between CP-A and CP-B/C subgroups(F = 9.761, P < 0.001). The constituent ratios of HCC foci identified as obvious hypointensity(+++), moderate hypointensity(++), and mild hypointensity or isointensity(+/-) kept stable from DT-10 to DT-25: 90.6%, 9.4%, and 0.0% in the CP-A subgroup; 50.0%, 50.0%, and 0.0% in the CP-B subgroup; and 0.0%, 0.0%, and 100.0% in the CP-C subgroup, respectively.CONCLUSION The severity of liver cirrhosis has significant negative influence on the HCC visualization by GED-MRI. DT-10 is more efficient and practical than other HBP-DT points to identify most of HCC foci emerging in CP-A cirrhosis, as well as in CP-B cirrhosis; but an HBP-DT of 15 min or longer seems more appropriate than DT-10 for visualization of HCC in patients with CP-C cirrhosis.展开更多

METHODS: We prospectively enrolled 20 patients(age 59.45 ± 18.1 years; male: 65%) with CHB, who were implanted with a dual chamber pacemaker. The left ventricular outflow tract velocity time-integral was measured after AV/PV delay optimization by both echocardiography and Quick Opt algorithm method. Bland-Altman analysis was used for agreement between the two techniques. RESULTS: The optimal AV and PV delay determined by echocardiography was 155.5 ± 14.68 ms and 122.5 ± 17.73 ms(P < 0.0001), respectively and by Quick Opt method was 167.5 ± 16.73 and 117.5 ms ± 9.10 ms(P < 0.0001), respectively. A good agreement was observed between optimal AV and PV delay as measured by two methods. However, the correlation of the optimal AV(r = 0.0689, P = 0.77) and PV(r = 0.2689, P = 0.25) intervals measured by the two techniques was poor. The time required for AV/PV optimization was 45.26 ± 1.73 min by echocardiography and 0.44 ± 0.08 min by Quick Opt method(P < 0.0001).CONCLUSION: The programmer based IEGM method is an automated, quick, easier and reliable alternative to echocardiography for the optimization of AV/PV delay in CHB patients, implanted with a dual chamber pacemaker.展开更多

This article presents a systematic method for finding the optimal feedback gains by taking the stability of an inverted pendulum system with a delayed proportional-derivative controller as an example. First, the condition for the existence and uniqueness of the stable region in the gain plane is obtained by using the D-subdivision method and the method of stability switch. Then the same procedure is used repeatedly to shrink the stable region by decreasing the real part of the rightmost characteristic root. Finally, the optimal feedback gains within the stable region that minimizes the real part of the rightmost root are expressed by an explicit formula. With the optimal feedback gains, the controlled inverted pendulum decays to its trivial equilibrium at the fastest speed when the initial values around the origin are fixed. The main results are checked by numerical simulation.展开更多

The fact that different types of links have different degree of Self-Similarity is also obtained. By constructing appropriate network architecture and neural functions, functional networks can be used to model the Internet end-to-end nonlinear delay time series. Furthermore, by using adaptive parameter studying algorithm, the nonstationarity can also be well modeled. The numerical results show that the provided functional network architecture and adaptive algorithm can precisely characterize the Internet end-to-end delay dynamics.展开更多

A linear quadratic cost function is considered as the performance index of the closed-loop system. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed cost controllers via state feedback are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and the design of an optimal guaranteed cost controller can be reduced to a convex optimization problem. It is shown that the designed controller not only guarantees the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop fuzzy descriptor delay system, but also provides an optimized upper bound of the guaranteed cost. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the perfect performance of the optimal guaranteed cost controller.展开更多

Furthermore, these time domain specifications tend to be conflicting to each other to make the control design even more challenging. This paper presents a cell mapping method for multi-objective optimal feedback control design in time domain for a nonlinear Duffing system with time delay. We first review the multi-objective optimization problem and its formulation for control design. We then introduce the cell mapping method and a hybrid algorithm for global optimal solutions. 文摘In industrial wireless networks, data transmitted from source to destination are highly repetitive. This often leads to the queuing of the data, and poor management of the queued data results in excessive delays, increased energy consumption, and packet loss. Therefore,a nature-inspired-based Dragonfly Interaction Optimization Algorithm(DMOA)is proposed for optimization of the queue delay in industrial wireless networks. The term“interaction”herein used is the characterization of the“flying movement”of the dragonfly towards damselflies(female dragonflies)for mating. As a result, interaction is represented as the flow of transmitted data packets,or traffic, from the source to the base station. This includes each and every feature of dragonfly movement as well as awareness of the rival dragonflies, predators, and damselflies for the desired optimization of the queue delay. These features are juxtaposed as noise and interference, which are further used in the calculation of industrial wireless metrics:latency, error rate(reliability),throughput, energy efficiency, and fairness for the optimization of the queue delay.Statistical analysis, convergence analysis, the Wilcoxon test, the Friedman test, and the classical as well as the 2014 IEEE Congress of Evolutionary Computation(CEC)on the benchmark functions are also used for the evaluation of DMOA in terms of its robustness and efficiency. The results demonstrate the robustness of the proposed algorithm for both classical and benchmarking functions of the IEEE CEC 2014.Furthermore,the accuracy and efficacy of DMOA were demonstrated by means of the convergence rate,Wilcoxon testing, and ANOVA.Moreover, fairness using Jain’s index in queue delay optimization in terms of throughput and latency, along with computational complexity,is also evaluated and compared with other algorithms.Simulation results show that DMOA exceeds other bio-inspired optimization algorithms in terms of fairness in queue delay management and average packet loss. The proposed algorithm is also evaluated for the conflicting objectives at Pareto Front, and its analysis reveals that DMOA finds a compromising solution between the objectives, thereby optimizing queue delay. In addition,DMOA on the Pareto front delivers much greater performance when it comes to optimizing the queuing delay for industry wireless networks.

文摘The minimization problem of time delays in networked control system (NCS) is concered, which is a hot area of such research field. First, some analysis and comments on time-delayed NCS model listed in previous work are given. Then, time delay minimization problem based on average behavior of network queuing delay is presented. Under fixed routing scheme and certain optimization performance indexes, the delay minimization problem is translated into convex optimization problem. And the solution of the delay minimization problems is attained through optimized allocation of flow rates among network links.
文摘The vehicle routing problem(VRP)is a typical discrete combinatorial optimization problem, and many models and algorithms have been proposed to solve the VRP and its variants.Although existing approaches have contributed significantly to the development of this field, these approaches either are limited in problem size or need manual intervention in choosing parameters. To solve these difficulties, many studies have considered learning-based optimization(LBO)algorithms to solve the VRP.This paper reviews recent advances in this field and divides relevant approaches into end-to-end approaches and step-by-step approaches. We performed a statistical analysis of the reviewed articles from various aspects and designed three experiments to evaluate the performance of four representative LBO algorithms. Finally,we conclude the applicable types of problems for different LBO algorithms and suggest directions in which researchers can improve LBO algorithms.

文摘In the dynamics analysis and synthesis of a controlled system, it is important to know for what feedback gains can the controlled system decay to the demanded steady state as fast as possible. The main results are checked by numerical simulation.

文摘The primary resonance of a single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF)system subjected to a harmonic excitation is mitigated by the method of optimal time-delay feedback control. The stable regions of the time delays and feedback gains are obtained from the stable conditions of eigenvalue equation.Attenuation ratio is applied for evaluating the performance of the vibration control by taking aproportion of peak amplitude of primary resonance for the suspension system with or without controllers.Taking the attenuation ratio as the objective function and the stable regions of the time delays and feedback gains as constrains, the optimal feedback gains are determined by using minimum optimal method. Finally, simulation examples are also presented.

文摘As a classical technique for chaos suppression, the time-delayed feedback controlling strategy has been widely developed by stabilizing unstable periodic orbits(UPOs)embedded in chaotic systems.A critical issue for achieving high controlling precision is to search for an appropriate time delay. This paper proposes a simple yet effective approach, based on incremental harmonic balance method,to determine the optimal time delay in the delayed feedback controller. The time delay is adjusted within the iterative scheme provided by the proposed method, and finally converges to the period of the target UPO.As long as the optimal time delay is fixed, moreover, the attained solution makes it quite convenient to analyze its stability according to the Floquet theory, which further provides the effective interval of the feedback gain.

文摘End-to-end delay is one of the most important characteristics of Internet end-to-end packet dynamics, which can be applied to quality of services (OoS) management, service level agreement (SLA) management, congestion control algorithm development, etc. Nonstationarity and nonlinearity are found by the analysis of various delay series measured from different links. The numerical results show that the provided functional network architecture and adaptive algorithm can precisely characterize the Internet end-to-end delay dynamics.

文摘Based on the delay-independent rule, the problem of optimal guaranteed cost control for a class of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy descriptor systems with time-varying delay is studied. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the perfect performance of the optimal guaranteed cost controller.

文摘It is generally difficult to design feedback controls of nonlinear systems with time delay to meet time domain specifications such as rise time, overshoot, and tracking error. Numerical simulations of the PID control are presented to show the features of the multi-objective optimal design. @ 2013 The Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. 文摘This paper is concerned with a Pontryagin's maximum principle for the stochastic optimal control problem with distributed delays given by integrals of not necessarily linear functions of state or control variables.By virtue of the duality method and the generalized anticipated backward stochastic differential equations,we establish a necessary maximum principle and a sufficient verification theorem. In particular,we deal with the controlled stochastic system where the distributed delays enter both the state and the control. To explain the theoretical results,we apply them to a dynamic advertising problem.

文摘In this paper, we study the stochastic maximum principle for optimal control prob- lem of anticipated forward-backward system with delay and Lovy processes as the random dis- turbance. This control system can be described by the anticipated forward-backward stochastic differential equations with delay and L^vy processes (AFBSDEDLs), we first obtain the existence and uniqueness theorem of adapted solutions for AFBSDEDLs; combining the AFBSDEDLs' preliminary result with certain classical convex variational techniques, the corresponding maxi- mum principle is proved.

文摘With the rapid development of urban road traffic and the increasing number of vehicles, how to alleviate traffic congestion is one of the hot issues that need to be urgently addressed in building smart cities. Therefore,in this paper,a nonlinear multi-objective optimization model of urban intersection signal timing based on a Genetic Algorithm was constructed.Specifically,a typical urban intersection was selected as the research object, and drivers’acceleration habits were taken into account. What’s more, the shortest average delay time, the least average number of stops, and the maximum capacity of the intersection were regarded as the optimization objectives. The optimization results show that compared with the Webster method when the vehicle speed is 60 km/h and the acceleration is 2.5 m/s^(2),the signal intersection timing scheme based on the proposed Genetic Algorithm multi-objective optimization reduces the intersection signal cycle time by 14.6%,the average vehicle delay time by 12.9%,the capacity by 16.2%,and the average number of vehicles stop by 0.4%.To verify the simulation results, the authors imported the optimized timing scheme into the constructed Simulation of the Urban Mobility model. The experimental results show that the authors optimized timing scheme is superior to Webster’s in terms of vehicle average loss time reduction, carbon monoxide emission, particulate matter emission, and vehicle fuel consumption. The research in this paper provides a basis for Genetic algorithms in traffic signal control.
文摘Objective In order to provide the maximum benefit of cardiac resynchronization therapy(CRT),we tried to use an echocardiography method to optimize the atrioventricular and interventricular delay. Methods The study included 6 patients who underwent implantation of biventricular pacemakers for drug-resistant heart failure.Two-dimensional echocardiography and tissue Doppler imaging were carried out before and after the pacemaker implantation. The optimal AV delay was defined as the AV delay resulting in maximum timevelocity integral(TVI)of transmitral filling flow, the longest left ventricular filling time(LVFT)and the minimum mitral regurgitation(MR).The optimal VV delay was defined as the VV delay producing the maximum LV synchrony and the largest aortic TVI.Results CRT was successfully performed in all patients. After pacemaker implantation,an acute improvement in left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was observed from 26.5%to 35%.Meanwhile,the QRS duration decreased from 170ms to 150ms.The optimal AV delay was programmed at 130,120,120,120,150 and 110ms respectively with heart rate corrected,LVFT significantly lengthened and TVI of MR decreased(non-optimal vs optimal AV delay:LVFT:469ms vs 523ms;TVI of MR:16.43cm vs 13.06cm,P<0.05).The optimal VV delay was programmed at 4,4,4,8,12 and 8ms with LV preactivation respectively.Programming the optimal VV delay increased the aortic TVI from 17.33cm up to 21.42cm(P<0.05).In the septal and lateral wall, peak systolic velocities improved from2.70cm/s to 3.02cm/s(P>0.05)and froml.31cm/s to 2.50cm/s(P<0.05)respectively.The septal-to-lateral delay in peak velocity improved from 56.4ms to 13.3ms after CRT(P<0.01).Conclusions Optimization of AV and VV delays may further enhance the efficacy of CRT.However, there was interindividual variability of optimal values, warranting individual patient examination.
