The reconstruction of demographic history using ancient and modern genomic resources reveals extensive interactions and admixture between ancient nomadic pastoralists and the social organizations of the Chinese Centra...The reconstruction of demographic history using ancient and modern genomic resources reveals extensive interactions and admixture between ancient nomadic pastoralists and the social organizations of the Chinese Central Plain.However,the extent to which Y-chromosome genetic legacies from nomadic emperor-related ancestral lineages influence the Chinese paternal gene pool remains unclear.Here,we genotype 2717 ethnolinguistically diverse samples belonging to C2a lineages,perform whole-genome sequencing on 997 representative samples,and integrate these data with ancient genomic sequences.We reconstruct the evolutionary histories of Northern Zhou-,Qing emperor-,and pastoralist-related lineages to assess their genetic impact on modern Chinese populations.This reassembled fine-scale Ychromosome phylogeny identifies deep divergence and five Neolithic expansion events contributing differently to the formation of northern Chinese populations.Phylogeographic modeling indicates that the nomadic empires of the Northern Zhou and Qing dynasties genetically originated from the Mongolian Plateau.Phylogenetic topology and shared haplotype patterns show that three upstream ancestors of Northern Zhou(C2a1a1b1a2a1b-FGC28857),Donghu tribe(C2a1a1b1-F1756),and Qing(C2a1a3a2-F10283)emperor-related lineages expanded during the middle Neolithic,contributing significantly to genetic flow between ancient northeastern Asians and modern East Asians.Notably,this study reveals limited direct contributions of Emperor Wu of Northern Zhou’s lineages to modern East Asians.展开更多

The presence of the reversals of the geomagnetic field within the Brunhes is indicated by paleomagnetic stuides on Cenozoic volcanic rocks in the Leizhou Peninsula, loess strata and Quaternary marine sediments in the ...The presence of the reversals of the geomagnetic field within the Brunhes is indicated by paleomagnetic stuides on Cenozoic volcanic rocks in the Leizhou Peninsula, loess strata and Quaternary marine sediments in the Pearl River Mouth basin in China. These regional reversals occured at 0.58±0.13 Ma, 0.45 Ma and 0.47—0.48 Ma respectively according to the results of K-Ar isotopic dating and climatostratigraphic and biostratigraphic analyses. The reversals equivalent to the Emperor Event is suggested.The reversals revealed in different regions with various lithologic characters in China prove that the Emperor Event is a global reversal event rather than a geomagnetic excursion, and its confirmation will permit a precise definition of the Middle/Late Pleistocene boundary.展开更多

Nowadays,due to the increase in information resources,the number of parameters and complexity of feature vectors increases.Optimizationmethods offermore practical solutions instead of exact solutions for the solution ...Nowadays,due to the increase in information resources,the number of parameters and complexity of feature vectors increases.Optimizationmethods offermore practical solutions instead of exact solutions for the solution of this problem.The Emperor PenguinOptimizer(EPO)is one of the highest performing meta-heuristic algorithms of recent times that imposed the gathering behavior of emperor penguins.It shows the superiority of its performance over a wide range of optimization problems thanks to its equal chance to each penguin and its fast convergence features.Although traditional EPO overcomes the optimization problems in continuous search space,many problems today shift to the binary search space.Therefore,in this study,using the power of traditional EPO,binary EPO(BEPO)is presented for the effective solution of binary-nature problems.BEPO algorithm uses binary search space instead of searching solutions like conventional EPO algorithm in continuous search space.For this purpose,the sigmoidal functions are preferred in determining the emperor positions.In addition,the boundaries of the search space remain constant by choosing binary operators.BEPO’s performance is evaluated over twenty-nine benchmarking functions.Statistical evaluations are made to reveal the superiority of the BEPO algorithm.In addition,the performance of the BEPO algorithm was evaluated for the binary feature selection problem.The experimental results reveal that the BEPO algorithm outperforms the existing binary meta-heuristic algorithms in both tasks.展开更多
Recently,there has been a considerable rise in the number of diabetic patients suffering from diabetic retinopathy(DR).DR is one of the most chronic diseases and makes the key cause of vision loss in middle-aged peopl...Recently,there has been a considerable rise in the number of diabetic patients suffering from diabetic retinopathy(DR).DR is one of the most chronic diseases and makes the key cause of vision loss in middle-aged people in the developed world.Initial detection of DR becomes necessary for decreasing the disease severity by making use of retinal fundus images.This article introduces a Deep Learning Enabled Large Scale Healthcare Decision Making for Diabetic Retinopathy(DLLSHDM-DR)on Retinal Fundus Images.The proposed DLLSHDM-DR technique intends to assist physicians with the DR decision-making method.In the DLLSHDM-DR technique,image preprocessing is initially performed to improve the quality of the fundus image.Besides,the DLLSHDM-DR applies HybridNet for producing a collection of feature vectors.For retinal image classification,the DLLSHDM-DR technique exploits the Emperor Penguin Optimizer(EPO)with a Deep Recurrent Neural Network(DRNN).The application of the EPO algorithm assists in the optimal adjustment of the hyperparameters related to the DRNN model for DR detection showing the novelty of our work.To assuring the improved performance of the DLLSHDMDR model,a wide range of experiments was tested on the EyePACS dataset.The comparison outcomes assured the better performance of the DLLSHDM-DR approach over other DL models.展开更多
The primary purpose of the Energy Management Scheme(EMS)is to monitor the energy fluctuations present in the load profile.In this paper,the improved model predictive controller is adopted for the EMS in the power syst...The primary purpose of the Energy Management Scheme(EMS)is to monitor the energy fluctuations present in the load profile.In this paper,the improved model predictive controller is adopted for the EMS in the power system.Emperor Penguin Optimization(EPO)algorithm optimized Artificial Neural Network(ANN)with Model Predictive Control(MPC)scheme for accurate prediction of load and power forecasting at the time of preoptimizing EMS is presented.For the power generation,Renewable Energy Sources(RES)such as photo voltaic(PV)and wind turbine(WT)are utilized along with that the fuel cell is also presented in case of failure by the RES.Such a setup is connected with the grid and applies to the household appliances.In improved model predictive control(IMPC),the set of constraints for the powerflow in the system is optimized by the ANN,which is trained by EPO.Such a tuning based prediction model is presented in the IMPC technique.The proposed work is implemented in the MATLAB/Simulink platform.The energy management capability of the proposed system is analyzed for different atmospheric conditions.The total system cost,life cycle cost and annualized cost for IMPC are 48%,45%and 15%,respectively.From the performance analysis,the cost obtained by the proposed method is very low compared to that obtained by the existing techniques.展开更多

文摘Recently,there has been a considerable rise in the number of diabetic patients suffering from diabetic retinopathy(DR).DR is one of the most chronic diseases and makes the key cause of vision loss in middle-aged people in the developed world.Initial detection of DR becomes necessary for decreasing the disease severity by making use of retinal fundus images.This article introduces a Deep Learning Enabled Large Scale Healthcare Decision Making for Diabetic Retinopathy(DLLSHDM-DR)on Retinal Fundus Images.The proposed DLLSHDM-DR technique intends to assist physicians with the DR decision-making method.In the DLLSHDM-DR technique,image preprocessing is initially performed to improve the quality of the fundus image.Besides,the DLLSHDM-DR applies HybridNet for producing a collection of feature vectors.For retinal image classification,the DLLSHDM-DR technique exploits the Emperor Penguin Optimizer(EPO)with a Deep Recurrent Neural Network(DRNN).The application of the EPO algorithm assists in the optimal adjustment of the hyperparameters related to the DRNN model for DR detection showing the novelty of our work.To assuring the improved performance of the DLLSHDMDR model,a wide range of experiments was tested on the EyePACS dataset.The comparison outcomes assured the better performance of the DLLSHDM-DR approach over other DL models.
文摘The primary purpose of the Energy Management Scheme(EMS)is to monitor the energy fluctuations present in the load profile.In this paper,the improved model predictive controller is adopted for the EMS in the power system.Emperor Penguin Optimization(EPO)algorithm optimized Artificial Neural Network(ANN)with Model Predictive Control(MPC)scheme for accurate prediction of load and power forecasting at the time of preoptimizing EMS is presented.For the power generation,Renewable Energy Sources(RES)such as photo voltaic(PV)and wind turbine(WT)are utilized along with that the fuel cell is also presented in case of failure by the RES.Such a setup is connected with the grid and applies to the household appliances.In improved model predictive control(IMPC),the set of constraints for the powerflow in the system is optimized by the ANN,which is trained by EPO.Such a tuning based prediction model is presented in the IMPC technique.The proposed work is implemented in the MATLAB/Simulink platform.The energy management capability of the proposed system is analyzed for different atmospheric conditions.The total system cost,life cycle cost and annualized cost for IMPC are 48%,45%and 15%,respectively.From the performance analysis,the cost obtained by the proposed method is very low compared to that obtained by the existing techniques.
