Purpose:The study examines the synergy and hysteresis in the evolution of funding and its supported literature,depicts their temporal correlation mechanism,which aids in improving trend predictions.Design/methodology/...Purpose:The study examines the synergy and hysteresis in the evolution of funding and its supported literature,depicts their temporal correlation mechanism,which aids in improving trend predictions.Design/methodology/approach:The study uses the LDA model to identify topics in funding texts and supported papers.A cosine similarity algorithm was employed to estimate the nexus between topics and construct the topic evolution time series.Similarly,the hysteresis effect in topic evolution is analyzed based on topic popularity and content,leading to insights into their temporal correlation mechanism.Findings:The study finds that fund and sponsored paper topics exhibit strong collaboration with a noticeable lag in evolution.The fund topics significantly influence sponsored paper topics after a two-year lag.Moreover,the lag effect is inversely proportional to the topic’s similarity.Research limitations:We use the LDA model to determine the hysteresis effect in topic evolution despite its limitations in handling long-tail words and domain-specific vocabulary.Furthermore,the timing of the emergence of the focal topic in funds is undermined,affecting the findings.Practical implications:These findings enhance the accuracy and scientific validity of trend prediction.Estimating and identifying patterns can help technology managers anticipate future research hotspots,supporting informed decision-making and technology management.Originality/value:This study introduces a research framework to quantitatively and visually analyze the hysteresis effect,revealing the correlation and evolutionary patterns between fund research topics and their funded papers.展开更多
Purpose:This paper proposes a method of detecting emerging trends in research topics from a more micro perspective.Design/methodology/approach:Through co-word clustering to identify research topics and analyzing posit...Purpose:This paper proposes a method of detecting emerging trends in research topics from a more micro perspective.Design/methodology/approach:Through co-word clustering to identify research topics and analyzing position changes of topic words in the keywords life-cycle diagram during different time periods,we detected emerging trends in research topics from a more micro perspective.I'he method was applied to the field of nanotechnology to verify its effectiveness and practicability.Findings:The results show that this method can be used to detect emerging trends in research topics from a more micro perspective,as it divides keywords into five categories:Potential keywords,emerging keywords,hot keywords,stable keywords and recession keywords,through which more details of topic changes can be found.Research limitations:We used keywords provided by authors and database indexers for keywords extraction.But this approach may lead to the problem of 'indexer effect'.The method may have a limited effect when applied to a disciplinary domain such as mathematics,which evolves slowly.Practical implications:This study provides information analysts with insights into the way to better understand specialty areas of a discipline domain and formulate research policies and strategic plans.Originality/value:This study contributes to the current literature by proposing a new method,which can detect emerging trends in research topics from a more micro perspective.展开更多

However, it has become essential for organizations to ensure the security of their applications, data, and cloud-based networks to use cloud services effectively. This systematic literature review aims to determine the latest information regarding cloud computing security, with a specific emphasis on threats and mitigation strategies. Additionally, it highlights some common threats related to cloud computing security, such as distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, account hijacking, malware attacks, and data breaches. This research also explores some mitigation strategies, including security awareness training, vulnerability management, security information and event management (SIEM), identity and access management (IAM), and encryption techniques. It discusses emerging trends in cloud security, such as integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), serverless computing, and containerization, as well as the effectiveness of the shared responsibility model and its related challenges. Tunas are among the most economically important fish species and play critical roles in food composition and nutrition of humans.As apex predators,they also keep the marine ecosystem healthy and balanced.Both natural ...Tunas are among the most economically important fish species and play critical roles in food composition and nutrition of humans.As apex predators,they also keep the marine ecosystem healthy and balanced.Both natural and human factors influence the status of this important marine resource and their habitats.There is a large cadre of studies on how tunas are of great significance to the exploitation and management of their fisheries,yet there are few summaries of this research.We aimed to quantitatively and qualitatively synthesize the global knowledge structure and emerging trends in tuna research using bibliometric software.References with"Tuna","Katsuwonus",or"Thunnus"as the subject in the Web of Science Core Collection Database from 1995 to 2019 were visually analyzed using CiteSpace.Publication rate and output,active countries,institutions,authors,and co-cited references were performed.Results suggested that the number of international tuna research papers increased significantly between 2000 and 2010,as a considerable number of high-impact articles emerged during this period.Researchers paid more attention to 19 main topics during this period,notably"overfishing","bycatch","climate change","marine pollution",and"fish management",which all posed potential risks and challenges to tuna survival.Future research should emphasize resolving these challenges and building international cooperation for the proper management of tuna populations.展开更多
