Large solidification ranges and coarse columnar grains in the additively manufacturing of Al-Mg-Si alloys are normally involved in hot cracks during solidification.In this work,we develop novel crack-free Al-Mg_(2) Si alloys fabricated by laser powder-bed fusion(L-PBF).The results indicate that the eutectic Mg_(2) Si phase possesses a strong ability to reduce crack susceptibility.It can enhance the grain growth restriction factor in the initial stage of solidification and promote eutectic filling in the terminal stage of solidifica-tion.The crack-free L-PBFed Al-x Mg_(2) Si alloys(x=6 wt.%,9 wt.%,and 12 wt.%)exhibit the combination of low crack susceptibility index(CSI),superior ability for liquid filling,and grain refinement.Particularly,the L-PBFed Al-9Mg_(2) Si alloy shows improved mechanical properties(e.g.yield strength of 397 MPa and elongation of 7.3%).However,the cracks are more likely to occur in the region near the columnar grain boundaries of the L-PBFed Al-3Mg_(2) Si alloy with a large solidification range and low eutectic content for liquid filling.Correspondingly,the L-PBFed Al-3Mg_(2) Si alloy shows poor bearing capacity of mechanical properties.The precise tuning of Mg_(2) Si eutectic content can offer an innovative strategy for eliminating cracks in additively manufactured Al-Mg-Si alloy. 展开更多

Graphene-based thermally conductive composites have been proposed as effective thermal management materials for cooling high-power electronic devices.However,when flexible graphene nanosheets are assembled into macroscopic thermally conductive composites,capillary forces induce shrinkage of graphene nanosheets to form wrinkles during solution-based spontaneous drying,which greatly reduces the thermal conductivity of the composites.Herein,graphene nanosheets/aramid nanofiber(GNS/ANF)composite films with high thermal conductivity were prepared by in-plane stretching of GNS/ANF composite hydrogel networks with hydrogen bonds andπ-πinteractions.The in-plane mechanical stretching eliminates graphene nanosheets wrinkles by suppressing inward shrinkage due to capillary forces during drying and achieves a high in-plane orientation of graphene nanosheets,thereby creating a fast in-plane heat transfer channel.The composite films(GNS/ANF-60 wt%)with eliminated graphene nanosheets wrinkles showed a significant increase in thermal conductivity(146 W m^(−1)K^(−1))and tensile strength(207 MPa).The combination of these excellent properties enables the GNS/ANF composite films to be effectively used for cooling flexible LED chips and smartphones,showing promising applications in the thermal management of high-power electronic devices. 展开更多

Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)featuring a Ni-rich cathode exhibit increased specific capacity,but the establishment of a stable interphase through the implementation of a functional electrolyte strategy remains challenging.Especially when the battery is operated under high temperature,the trace water present in the electrolyte will accelerate the hydrolysis of the electrolyte and the resulting HF will further erode the interphase.In order to enhance the long-term cycling performance of graphite/LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)LIBs,herein,Tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate(TDI)additive containing lone-pair electrons is employed to formulate a novel bifunctional electrolyte aimed at eliminating H_(2)O/HF generated at elevated temperature.After 1000 cycles at 25℃,the battery incorporating the TDI-containing electrolyte exhibits an impressive capacity retention of 94%at 1 C.In contrast,the battery utilizing the blank electrolyte has a lower capacity retention of only 78%.Furthermore,after undergoing 550 cycles at 1 C under45℃,the inclusion of TDI results in a notable enhancement of capacity,increasing it from 68%to 80%.This indicates TDI has a favorable influence on the cycling performance of LIBs,especially at elevated temperatures.The analysis of the film formation mechanism suggests that the lone pair of electrons of the isocyanate group in TDI play a crucial role in inhibiting the generation of H_(2)O and HF,which leads to the formation of a thin and dense interphase.The existence of this interphase is thought to substantially enhance the cycling performance of the LIBs.This work not only improves the performance of graphite/NCM811 batteries at room temperature and high temperature by eliminating H_(2)O/HF but also presents a novel strategy for advancing functional electrolyte development. 展开更多

During the development of the nervous system,there is an overproduction of neurons and synapses.Hebbian competition between neighboring nerve endings and synapses performing different activity levels leads to their elimination or strengthening.We have extensively studied the involvement of the brain-derived neurotrophic factor-Tropomyosin-related kinase B receptor neurotrophic retrograde pathway,at the neuromuscular junction,in the axonal development and synapse elimination process versus the synapse consolidation.The purpose of this review is to describe the neurotrophic influence on developmental synapse elimination,in relation to other molecular pathways that we and others have found to regulate this process.In particular,we summarize our published results based on transmitter release analysis and axonal counts to show the different involvement of the presynaptic acetylcholine muscarinic autoreceptors,coupled to downstream serine-threonine protein kinases A and C(PKA and PKC)and voltage-gated calcium channels,at different nerve endings in developmental competition.The dynamic changes that occur simultaneously in several nerve terminals and synapses converge across a postsynaptic site,influence each other,and require careful studies to individualize the mechanisms of specific endings.We describe an activity-dependent balance(related to the extent of transmitter release)between the presynaptic muscarinic subtypes and the neurotrophin-mediated TrkB/p75NTR pathways that can influence the timing and fate of the competitive interactions between the different axon terminals.The downstream displacement of the PKA/PKC activity ratio to lower values,both in competing nerve terminals and at postsynaptic sites,plays a relevant role in controlling the elimination of supernumerary synapses.Finally,calcium entry through L-and P/Q-subtypes of voltage-gated calcium channels(both channels are present,together with the N-type channel in developing nerve terminals)contributes to reduce transmitter release and promote withdrawal of the most unfavorable nerve terminals during elimination(the weakest in acetylcholine release and those that have already become silent).The main findings contribute to a better understanding of punishment-rewarding interactions between nerve endings during development.Identifying the molecular targets and signaling pathways that allow synapse consolidation or withdrawal of synapses in different situations is important for potential therapies in neurodegenerative diseases. 展开更多

Three-dimensional internal multiple elimination in complex structures using Marchenko autofocusing theory

Internal multiples are commonly present in seismic data due to variations in velocity or density of subsurface media.They can reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of seismic data and degrade the quality of the image.With the development of seismic exploration into deep and ultradeep events,especially those from complex targets in the western region of China,the internal multiple eliminations become increasingly challenging.Currently,three-dimensional(3D)seismic data are primarily used for oil and gas target recognition and drilling.Effectively eliminating internal multiples in 3D seismic data of complex structures and mitigating their adverse effects is crucial for enhancing the success rate of drilling.In this study,we propose an internal multiple prediction algorithm for 3D seismic data in complex structures using the Marchenko autofocusing theory.This method can predict the accurate internal multiples of time difference without an accurate velocity model and the implementation process mainly consists of several steps.Firstly,simulating direct waves with a 3D macroscopic velocity model.Secondly,using direct waves and 3D full seismic acquisition records to obtain the upgoing and down-going Green's functions between the virtual source point and surface.Thirdly,constructing internal multiples of the relevant layers by upgoing and downgoing Green's functions.Finally,utilizing the adaptive matching subtraction method to remove predicted internal multiples from the original data to obtain seismic records without multiples.Compared with the two-dimensional(2D)Marchenko algo-rithm,the performance of the 3D Marchenko algorithm for internal multiple prediction has been significantly enhanced,resulting in higher computational accuracy.Numerical simulation test results indicate that our proposed method can effectively eliminate internal multiples in 3D seismic data,thereby exhibiting important theoretical and industrial application value. 展开更多

The high incidence of hand,foot,and mouth disease(HFMD)in children,coupled with improper management,can lead to complications,causing significant distress to both patients and their parents.This article reports on the successful treatment of a case of HFMD with dampness-heat accumulation in the spleen type using a therapeutic approach of applying herbal patches to acupoints to disperse dampness,promote heat dissipation,and unblock the fu organs.The herbs selected primarily include honeysuckle,Forsythia,and mint to relieve the exterior and promote heat dissipation;Agastache and magnolia bark to transform and dry dampness;Scutellaria,blackberry lily,and licorice to clear heat,detoxify,and benefit the throat;and magnolia bark and bitter orange to unblock the fu organs and purge heat.The flexible combination of these herbs with acupoints such as Shenque,Zhongwan,Tiantu,and Feishu fully leverages the synergistic effects of both the herbs and acupoints,resulting in a significant therapeutic effect.This approach provides valuable insights and methodologies for the prevention and treatment of HFMD in children. 展开更多

Quantifying and categorizing development paths of poverty-elimination counties in China:Based on the perspective of population-land-industry

China has achieved the poverty reduction goal of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development 10 years ahead of schedule,contributing significantly to global poverty reduction.Despite extended efforts in poverty elimination,there is a lack of quantitative studies categorizing and comparing poverty-elimination counties(PECs)based on their processes.This study proposes an innovative framework for analyzing PECs’development paths from the perspective of population-land-industry(PLI).We quantify the PLI matching degree of PECs in China during the critical phase of the battle against poverty through a multivariate matching model,classify PECs via K-means clustering according to the consistency in PLI matching degree evolution,and summarize the typical development patterns of PECs.Results indicate that the PLI matching degree of PECs in China increased substantially from 2015 to 2020,particularly in eastern areas,while the western region,including the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and southwestern Xinjiang,shows untapped potential for improvement.Five types of PECs are identified,with the majority(30.1%)showing sustained moderate PLI matching and a minority(9.6%)experiencing long-term PLI mismatch.Industry is the shortfall of various PECs,and effective strategies to facilitate all types of PECs include the development of emerging businesses and the expansion of secondary and tertiary industries.Additionally,enriching rural labor force and increasing farmland use efficiency are essential for optimal PLI matching and positive interaction,ultimately ensuring poverty elimination and sustainable development. 展开更多

Internal-multiple-elimination with application to migration using two-way wave equation depth-extrapolation scheme

Internal multiple interference,affecting both seismic data processing and interpretation,has been observed for long time.Although great progress has been achieved in developing a variety of internal-multiple-elimination(IME)methods,how to increase accuracy and reduce cost of IME still poses a significant challenge.A new method is proposed to effectively and efficiently eliminate internal multi-ples,along with its application in internal-multiple-eliminated-migration(IMEM),addressing this issue.This method stems from two-way wave equation depth-extrapolation scheme and associated up/down wavefield separation,which can accomplish depth-extrapolation of both up-going and down-going wavefields simultaneously,and complete internal-multiple-elimination processing,adaptively and effi-ciently.The proposed method has several features:(1)input data is same as that for conventional migration:source signature(used for migration only),macro velocity model,and receiver data,without additional requirements for source/receiver sampling;(2)method is efficient,without need of iterative calculations(which are typically needed for most of IME algorithms);and(3)method is cost effective:IME is completed in the same depth-extrapolation scheme of IMEM,without need of a separate pro-cessing and additional cost.Several synthesized data models are used to test the proposed method:one-dimensional model,horizontal layered model,multi-layer model with one curved layer,and SEG/EAGE Salt model.Additionally,we perform a sensitivity analysis of velocity using smoothed models.This analysis reveals that although the accuracy of velocity measurements impacts our proposed method,it significantly reduces internal multiple false imaging compared to traditional RTM techniques.When applied to actual seismic data from a carbonate reservoir zone,our method demonstrates superior clarity in imaging results,even in the presence of high-velocity carbonate formations,outperforming conven-tional migration methods in deep strata. 展开更多

Semi-supervised new intent discovery is a significant research focus in natural language understanding.To address the limitations of current semi-supervised training data and the underutilization of implicit information,a Semi-supervised New Intent Discovery for Elastic Neighborhood Syntactic Elimination and Fusion model(SNID-ENSEF)is proposed.Syntactic elimination contrast learning leverages verb-dominant syntactic features,systematically replacing specific words to enhance data diversity.The radius of the positive sample neighborhood is elastically adjusted to eliminate invalid samples and improve training efficiency.A neighborhood sample fusion strategy,based on sample distribution patterns,dynamically adjusts neighborhood size and fuses sample vectors to reduce noise and improve implicit information utilization and discovery accuracy.Experimental results show that SNID-ENSEF achieves average improvements of 0.88%,1.27%,and 1.30%in Normalized Mutual Information(NMI),Accuracy(ACC),and Adjusted Rand Index(ARI),respectively,outperforming PTJN,DPN,MTP-CLNN,and DWG models on the Banking77,StackOverflow,and Clinc150 datasets.The code is available at https://github.com/qsdesz/SNID-ENSEF,accessed on 16 January 2025. 展开更多

Due to this discovery, the principle of eliminating resonance byusing anti-bifurcation technique is presented, which makes that the theoretical bases of verymeasure to eliminate resonance are unified firstly from a point of view of basic theory. Ourdiscussion models depend on a class of nonlinear control model. Using the direct Lyapunov method, acomplete theoretical proof is given in accordance with the measure of eliminating resonance byconnecting nonlinear resistor in series to the neutral point of P. T., and the feedback control lawbeing applied. It comprises the action of parameters of resistor to eliminate resonance and theactual process of eliminating resonance, i.e., to go against bifurcation process which forces thebig harmonic solutions to retreat to the integral manifold gradually and disappear eventually, whichby using the nonlinear controllers. This makes it sure that the intrinsic cause of resonance iseliminated thoroughly. The obtained theory results and computing results are better than thepresented results. 展开更多

AIM To study the effects of Radix Salviae Militiorrhiza (RSM), other blood-activating and stasis-eliminating Chinese herbs on hemodynamics of portal hypertension.METHODS Portal pressure of cirrhotic dogs after chronic common bile duct ligation was measured directly; portal blood flow in patients with liver cirrhosis were detected by ultrasound Doppler.RESULTS After administration of RSM and Radix Angelicae Sinensis (RAS) by intravenous infusion in cirrhosis dogs, the portal venous pressure (Ppv), wedge hepatic venous pressure (WHVP), hepatic venous pressure gradient (HVPG), were significantly decreased (P<0.05-0.01), but the mean arterial pressure (MAP), and the heart rate (HR) remained unchanged. When nifedipine was used, Ppv, WHVP, MAP and HR were significantly decreased (P<0.05), and the MVPG unchanged (P>0.05). After administration of RSM, RSM+nifedipine and RSM+Hirudin+Nifedpin for 10-12 weeks, the diameter of portal vein (Dpv), spleen vein (Dsv), the portal venous flow (Qpv) and splenic venous flow (Qsv) in patients with hepatic cirrhosis were significantly lowered (P<0.05-0.01), and the effect of RAS was weaker.CONCLUSIONS The efficacy of decreasing Ppv by Chinese herbs-RSM, RAS, etc. as compared with nifedipine, demonstrated that the Chinese herbs were slower in action than that of nifedipine, but more long-lasting and without side effects. Hence, long-term administration of Chinese herbs, would be more beneficial. 展开更多

Estuarine wetlands serve as a natural barrier to remove the land-generated pollutants and attenuate the pollutant load from the land to the sea. As one of the most important estuarine wetlands, the Yangtze estuarine wetlands have attracted particular interests in the biogeochemical studies of nutrients. The objectives of this study were to characterize the seasonal and spatial distribution of dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) fluxes across the sediment-water interface; to calculate the total DIN fluxes in a year and different seasons; and to evaluate the DIN removing capability of the sediment in the tidal wetlands of the Yangtze Estuary. The spatial distribution of DIN fluxes shows complicated seasonal variations and spatial differences. The annual DIN fluxes range from -22.22 mmol N m^-2 h^-1 to 19.54 mmol N m^-2 h^-1, with an average of -1.48±1.34 mmol N mm^-2 h^-1. The tidal wetlands in the Yangtze Estuary behave as a source of water DIN in spring when DIN is released from sediment into overlying water, and the released amount of DIN is 1.33×10^4 tons of nitrogen (T N). In summer, autumn and winter, the sediment absorbs the DIN from the overlying water, and the absorbed amounts of DIN are 4.36×10^4 T N, 6.81×10^4 T N and 2.24×10^4 T N, respectively. The average amount of DIN in overlying water of the Yangtze Estuary is 52.6×10^4 T N yr^-1, and the perennial average amount of DIN absorbed from the overlying water by the sediment is 12.1 × 10^4 T N yr^-1. The annual DIN elimination rate of the tidal wetlands was 23.0%. 展开更多
