Based on the newly derived formula, THM coupling fracture modes (including tensile, shear and mixed fracture mode) can be predicted by a new fracture criterion of stress intensity factor ratio, where the maximum axial load was measured by self-designed THM coupling fracture test. SEM analyses of THM coupling fractured surface indicate that the higher the temperature and hydraulic pressure are and the lower the confining pressure is, the more easily the intergranular (tension) fracture occurs. The transgranular (shear) fracture occurs in the opposite case while the mixed-mode fracture occurs in the middle case. The tested THM coupling fracture mechanisms are in good agreement with the predicted THM coupling fracture modes, which can verify correction of the newly-derived THM coupling stress intensity factor formula.展开更多

The probability distributions of the critical chloride concentration Cc, the chloride diffusion coefficient D, and the surface chloride concentration Cs were determined based on the collected natural exposure data. And the estimation of probability of corrosion initiation considering the coupling effects of influence factors is presented. It is found that the relative humidity and curing time are the most effective factors affecting the probability of corrosion initiation before and after 10 years of exposure time. At the same exposure time, the influence of load-induced crack and stress state on the probability of corrosion initiation is obvious, in which the effect of crack is the most one展开更多

The modal analysis method is used to discuss the vibration energy of the typical model, as well as the power flow between the two subsystems. Furthermore, the resolution to the coupling loss factor is also derived and compared with the measured values. For the particular LD structure, composed of approximate 4 μm thick n-GaN substrate layer, the maximum optical confinement factor was found to be corresponding to the 5^th order transverse mode, the so-called lasing mode. Moreover, the value of the maximum confinement factor varies periodically when increasing the n-side GaN layer thickness, which simultaneously changes and increases the oscillation mode order of the GaN LD caused by the effects of mode coupling. The effects of the thickness and the average composition of Al in the AlGaN/GaN superlat.tice on the optical confinement factor are also presented. Finally, the mode coupling and optimization of the layers in the GaN-based LD are discussed.展开更多

The process of chloride ion diffusion is analyzed by the CA-based method and a nonlinear solution of the Fick's second law is obtained. Considering the impact of various factors such as stress states, temporal and spatial variability of diffusion parameters and water-cement ratio on the process of chloride ion diffusion, the model of chloride ion diffusion under multi-factor coupling actions is presented. A chloride ion penetrating experiment reported in the literature is used to prove the effectiveness and reasonability of the present method, and a T-type beam is taken as an illustrative example to analyze the process of chloride ion diffusion in practical application. As a result, it is difficult to study the modeling and safety simulation of this system. The dynamic model of the heavy-equipment airdrop is based on the Lagrange analytical mechanics, which has all the degrees of freedom and can accurately pinpoint the real-time coordinates and attitude of the carrier with its cargo. Unfavorable conditions accounted in the factors' models, including aircraft malfunctions and adverse environments, are established from a man-machine-environment perspective. Subsequently, a virtual simulation system for the safety research of the multi-factor coupling heavy-equipment airdrop is developed through MATLAB/Simulink, C language and Flightgear software. The tested THM coupling fracture mechanisms are in good agreement with the predicted THM coupling fracture modes, which can verify correction of the newly-derived THM coupling stress intensity factor formula.

文摘The coupling model of major influence factors such state affecting the chloride diffusion process in concrete is as environmental relative humidity, load-induced crack and stress discussed. At the same exposure time, the influence of load-induced crack and stress state on the probability of corrosion initiation is obvious, in which the effect of crack is the most one

文摘This study presents experimental evidence of the dependence of non-radiative recombination processes on the electron-phonon coupling of perovskite in perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Via A-site cation engineering,a weaker electron-phonon coupling in perovskite has been achieved by introducing the structurally soft cyclohexane methylamine(CMA^(+))cation, which could serve as a damper to alleviate the mechanical stress caused by lattice oscillations, compared to the rigid phenethyl methylamine(PEA^(+))analog. It demonstrates a significantly lower non-radiative recombination rate, even though the two types of bulky cations have similar chemical passivation effects on perovskite, which might be explained by the suppressed carrier capture process and improved lattice geometry relaxation. The resulting PSCs achieve an exceptional power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 25.5%with a record-high opencircuit voltage(V_(OC))of 1.20 V for narrow bandgap perovskite(FAPbI_(3)).The established correlations between electron-phonon coupling and non-radiative decay provide design and screening criteria for more effective passivators for highly efficient PSCs approaching the Shockley-Queisser limit.
文摘The transmission of transverse vibrational energy of a vertically rigid beam plate coupled structure is analyzed to get the theoretical results of coupling loss factor(CLF), a very important parameter in statistical energy analysis(SEA). The modal analysis method is used to discuss the vibration energy of the typical model, as well as the power flow between the two subsystems. Furthermore, the resolution to the coupling loss factor is also derived and compared with the measured values. The analytical results of the coupling loss factor agree with the measured ones fully, this new resolution is significant for the application of SEA.

文摘Within the linear framework, the Modal Electromechanical Coupling Factor(MEMCF)is an important indicator to quantify the dynamic conversion of mechanical energy and electrical energy of piezoelectric structures. It is also an important tool to guide the piezoelectric damping design of linear structures.Advanced aircraft often fly in maneuvers, and the variable working conditions induce drastic changes in the load level on structures.Geometric and contact nonlinearities of thin-walled structures and joint structures are often activated. To achieve a good vibration reduction effect covering all working conditions, one cannot directly use linear electromechanical coupling theory to instruct the piezoelectric damping design for nonlinear structures. Therefore, this paper defines the Nonlinear Modal Electromechanical Coupling Factor(NMEMCF)and proposes the corresponding numerical method for the first time to quantitatively evaluate the electromechanical coupling capability of nonlinear piezoelectric structures.Three candidate definitions of the NMEMCF are given, including two frequency definitions and one energy definition. The energy definition is the most promising one.It is not only applicable to both conservative and dissipative nonlinear structures but also compatible with the linear MEMCF.In addition, based on the energy formula, the NMEMCF can be obtained by only performing one nonlinear modal analysis in the open-circuit state. The analytical findings and the numerical tool are validated against two piezoelectric structures with different types of nonlinearities.A strong correlation among the NMEMCF,geometric parameters, and energy dissipation is observed. The results confirm that the proposed NMEMCF captures the physics of the electromechanical coupling phenomenon associated with nonlinear piezoelectric structures and can be used as an essential design indicator of piezoelectric damping, especially for variable working conditions.

文摘The Taihang Mountains in North China are an important carbon-water ecosystem service supply area.Understanding the coupling effect and influencing mechanisms of mountain carbon sequestration as well as water conservation is essential for regional eco-logical restoration and sustainable development. In this study,we utilized models such as the coupled coordination degree model, the random forest and Geodetector to analyze the spa-tio-temporal changes as well as driving factors of carbon sequestration-water conservation coupling coordination in the Taihang Mountains. The results show that:(1)From 1990 to 2020,the carbon sequestration and water conservation capacity of the Taihang Mountains exhibited a spatial pattern with higher values in the southeast and central regions, while lower values in the northwest region.(2)The average coupling coordination degree from 1990 to 2020 was O.23,which was overall low, with a fluctuating decreasing-rising-decreasing trend over time. The coupling coordination degree exhibited a pattern that is high in the middle and low in the periphery, with a fluctuating distribution that initially decreases and then increases with the increasing altitude. The overall trend of coupling coordination is degradation, with concen-trated degradation in the northwest mountainous regions.(3)Precipitation and soil texture were identified as the main driving factors influencing coupling coordination, with the interac-tion between precipitation and soil sand content showing the strongest explanatory power, while that among topography, vegetation and human activities had relatively low explanatory power. Therefore, enhanced protection and the continuous monitoring of vegetation and soil environments in the Taihang Mountains are essential, with particular emphasis on ecological restoration in areas experiencing a persistent degradation of carbon-water coupling. This study can provide assistance in monitoring and managing carbon sink and water resources in the mountains, meanwhile mitigating potential adverse impacts on human well-being.

文摘We have investigated the transverse mode pattern and the optical field confinement factor of gallium nitride (GaN) laser diodes (LDs) theoretically. Finally, the mode coupling and optimization of the layers in the GaN-based LD are discussed.

文摘The electron-phonon interaction can reveal the microscopic mechanism of heat transfer in metals. The two-step heat conduction considering electron-phonon interaction has become an effective theoretical model for extreme environments, such as micro-scale and ultrafast processes. In this work, the two-step heat transfer model is further extended by considering the Burgers heat conduction model with the secondorder heat flux rate for electrons. Then,a novel generalized electron-phonon coupling thermoelasticity is proposed with the Burgers electronic heat transfer. Then, the problem of one-dimensional semi-infinite copper strip subject to a thermal shock at one side is studied by the Burgers two-step(BTS)model.The thermoelastic analytical solutions are systematically derived in the Laplace domain, and the numerical Laplace inversion method is adopted to obtain the transient responses. The new model is compared with the parabolic two-step(PTS)model and the hyperbolic two-step(HTS)model.The results show that in ultrafast heating, the BTS model has the same wave front jump as the HTS model. The present model has the faster wave speed, and predicts the bigger disturbed regions than the HTS model.More deeply, all two-step models also have the faster wave speeds than one-step models. This work may benefit the theoretical modeling of ultrafast heating of metals.

文摘In order to accurately simulate the diffusion of chloride ion in the existing concrete bridge and acquire the precise chloride ion concentration at given time, a cellular automata (CA)-based model is proposed. The results indicate that CA-based method can simulate the diffusion of chloride ion in the concrete structures with acceptable precision.

文摘Electron-phonon coupling (EPC) in cuprate and iron-based superconducting systems, as revealed by Raman scat- tering, is briefly reviewed. We introduce how to extract the coupling information through phonon lineshape. Then we discuss the strength of EPC in different high-temperature superconductor (HTSC) systems and possible factors affecting the strength. A comparative study between Raman phonon theories and experiments allows us to gain insight into some crucial electronic properties, especially superconductivity. Finally, we summarize and compare EPC in the two existing HTSC systems, and discuss what role it may play in the HTSC.

文摘Heavy-equipment airdrop is a highly risky procedure that has a complicated system due to the secluded and complex nature of factors' coupling. To verify the veracity of the theory, the verification model is built based on dynamic software ADAMS. Finally, the emulation is put to the test with the input of realistic accident variables to ascertain its feasibility and validity of this method.

文摘Wetland is a transition zone between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, and is the source and sink of various biogenic elements in the earth’s epipelagic zone.In order to investigate the driving force and coupling mechanism of carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)migration in the critical zone of lake wetland, this paper studies the natural wetland of Dongting Lake area, through measuring and analysing the C,N and P contents in the wetland soil and groundwater. Methods of Pearson correlation,non-linear regression and machine learning were employed to analyse the influencing factors, and to explore the coupling patterns of the C,N and P in both soils and groundwater, with data derived from soil and water samples collected from the wetland critical zone. The results show that the mean values of organic carbon(TOC),total nitrogen(TN)and total phosphorus(TP)in groundwater are 1.59 mg/L,4.19 mg/L and 0.5 mg/L,respectively,while the mean values of C,N and P in the soils are 18.05 g/kg,0.86 g/kg and 0.52 g/kg.The results also show that the TOC,TN and TP in the groundwater are driven by a variety of environmental factors. However, the concentrations of C,N and P in the soils are mainly related to vegetation abundance and species which influence each other. In addition, the fitted curves of wetland soil C-N and C-P appear to follow the power function and S-shaped curve, respectively. In order to establish a multivariate regression model, the soil N and P contents were used as the input parameters and the soil C content used as the output one.By comparing the prediction effects of machine learning and nonlinear regression modelling, the results show that coupled relationship equation for the C,N and P contents is highly reliable.Future modelling of the coupled soil and groundwater elemental cycles needs to consider the complexity of hydrogeological conditions and to explore the quantitative relationships among the influencing factors and chemical constituents.
