Aim: To measure the effect of an educative intervention on the clinical ability of family physicians of two First Contact Units, (UMF, IMSS) from the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, in the Risk Factor Identification...Aim: To measure the effect of an educative intervention on the clinical ability of family physicians of two First Contact Units, (UMF, IMSS) from the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, in the Risk Factor Identification of metabolic syndrome. Methodology: A quasi-experimental study was carried out with a control group using basal and final measurements. The educative intervention of the experimental group included one in-the- classroom work and another at the consulting room. Instrument was validated by a panel of experts and consisted of 40 questions of five cases presenting problems, reaching a reliability index of 0.84. Results: There was no significant difference at base measurement among the different levels of clinical ability among groups (p = 0.82). At the end of the follow-up, a significant increase in the experimental group (29 with 20 - 23 vs 29 with 24 - 33 in the control group) was observed. Conclusions: The advantage observed at the different levels of the experimental group reflects the impact of the alternative educative program which needs to be a programmatic guide for future educative interventions for health workers seeking to transform their own clinical practice.展开更多

Its versatility allows being adapted to the Clinical and Educational Psychology. The objective to give access to all people a friendly-user tool with a touch screen that stimulates and catches the attention, enabling to teach knowledge, skills and values. It is divided in 2 complementary and interdependent parts. On one hand, the mixed contents are found in the Digital Boards (interactive and dynamic) structured in sessions that are combined into an entire psycho-educational program. This program facilitates the comprehension, acquisition and practice of the learning object. On the other hand, the process and the instructions of the material are described by a script which contributes to a better attitude that attracts the participants and stimulates to keep on learning. The efficiency and value of the methodology is evaluated at the beginning and at the end of the learning process, showing quantitative features in graphs and a weekly field study gathering the qualitative data. The Average improves significantly in every group, apart from the program that was used (Emotional Skills, Self-esteem, attention, Sexuality, Self-control, Problem-solving) and also in every individual according to the specific target of every subject. The application of this tool enables to diversify the knowledge to every area of the Psychology. The aim was to establish the importance of nurse training by using innovative techniques to develop skills in adolescent mental health education. <strong>Methods:</strong> Qualitative and descriptive research with an exploratory approach. Six nurse students of 20 - 25 years of age, both sexes, were invited to participate in a public university setting. Immersion tools were implemented such as, testimony, hexagrams, interactive didactic materials, all of them previously validated by expert judges. Data collection was through a semi-structured interview, after a signed informed consent letter. <strong>Results: </strong>Five categories emerged, Category I. Innovative educational strategies, like immersion tools;Category II. Innovative strategy to treat complex topics;Category III. Innovative techniques that favor health education;Category IV. Importance of upgrading nurse professionals;Category V. BACKGROUND Orthopaedic surgical education has traditionally depended on the apprenticeship model of“see one,do one,teach one”.However,reduced operative exposure,stricter work-hour regulations,medicolegal constraints...BACKGROUND Orthopaedic surgical education has traditionally depended on the apprenticeship model of“see one,do one,teach one”.However,reduced operative exposure,stricter work-hour regulations,medicolegal constraints,and patient safety concerns have constrained its practicality.Simulation-based training has become a reliable,safe,and cost-efficient alternative.Dry lab techniques,especially virtual and augmented reality,make up 78%of current dry lab research,whereas wet labs still set the standard for anatomical realism.AIM To evaluate the effectiveness,limitations,and future directions of wet and dry lab simulation in orthopaedic training.METHODS A scoping review was carried out across four databases-PubMed,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,and EBSCOhost-up to 2025.Medical Subject Headings included:"Orthopaedic Education","Wet Lab","Dry Lab","Simulation Training","Virtual Reality",and"Surgical Procedure".Eligible studies focused on orthopaedic or spinal surgical education,employed wet or dry lab techniques,and assessed training effectiveness.Exclusion criteria consisted of non-English publications,abstracts only,non-orthopaedic research,and studies unrelated to simulation.Two reviewers independently screened titles,abstracts,and full texts,resolving discrepancies with a third reviewer.RESULTS From 1851 records,101 studies met inclusion:78 on dry labs,7 on wet labs,4 on both.Virtual reality(VR)simulations were most common,with AI increasingly used for feedback and assessment.Cadaveric training remains the gold standard for accuracy and tactile feedback,while dry labs-especially VR-offer scalability,lower cost(40%-60%savings in five studies),and accessibility for novices.Senior residents prefer wet labs for complex tasks;juniors favour dry labs for basics.Challenges include limited transferability data,lack of standard outcome metrics,and ethical concerns about cadaver use and AI assessment.CONCLUSION Wet and dry labs each have unique strengths in orthopaedic training.A hybrid approach combining both,supported by standardised assessments and outcome studies,is most effective.Future efforts should aim for uniform reporting,integrating new technologies,and policy support for hybrid curricula to enhance skills and patient care.展开更多

BACKGROUND Patients with depression following coronary heart disease often exhibit insufficient psychological resilience and self-care abilities;therefore,emphasis must be placed on nursing interventions.AIM To analyz...BACKGROUND Patients with depression following coronary heart disease often exhibit insufficient psychological resilience and self-care abilities;therefore,emphasis must be placed on nursing interventions.AIM To analyze the application value of problem-oriented education combined with nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model in depressed patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS This study included 150 patients diagnosed with PCI postoperative depression because of coronary heart disease between February 2022 and February 2024.Participants were divided into two groups:A control group(n=75)receiving problem-oriented education and an observation group(n=75)receiving combined nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model.Depression status,psychological resilience,self-care ability,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Before nursing interventions,there were no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).After the interventions,depression scores decreased while psychological resilience,self-care ability,and quality of life scores increased significantly in the observation group compared to that in the control group,with statistically significant differences noted(P<0.05).This combined approach can enhance psychological resilience,improve self-care abilities,and elevate the overall quality of life,warranting further promotion in clinical practice.CONCLUSION Combination of problem-oriented education and nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model effectively alleviates depression in patients following PCI for coronary heart disease.展开更多
The advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI)has garnered significant attention within the academic research community,reflecting the prevailing zeitgeist.However,there is a paucity of literature that has delved into...The advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI)has garnered significant attention within the academic research community,reflecting the prevailing zeitgeist.However,there is a paucity of literature that has delved into its connection with the higher order thinking skills of human beings.The purpose of this systematic review is to investigate the relationship between AI utilization and the development of critical thinking(CT)in the field of education.A systematic literature search was performed in two databases,Web of Science and Scopus,with a focus on empirical studies related to AI and CT.The review process followed the PRISMA framework and adopted a bottom-up approach,Ultimately,the integrated review synthesized 21 eligible studies from a total of 649 articles.The systematic review identified three relationships between AI technologies and CT.The results suggest that AI technologies can help to enhance learners’CT skills(n=13).However,excessive or inappropriate utilization of AI may hinder CT development(n=7).Moreover,the cultivation of CT skills has been shown to positively influence the effectiveness of AI utilization(n=4).This article represents the first literature review to delve into the reciprocal relationship between AI implementation and CT development within the education field,striving to illuminate the ways in which learners can enhance their higher-order thinking skills through more effective utilization of AI technologies.展开更多

Background:We aimed to study physician attitudes toward ultrasound-guided procedures and possible improvements.We hypothesized that the usage of ultrasound in procedures may be limited by a high barrier of entry and t...Background:We aimed to study physician attitudes toward ultrasound-guided procedures and possible improvements.We hypothesized that the usage of ultrasound in procedures may be limited by a high barrier of entry and that most physicians would choose to adopt software that provides real-time image guidance if accessible.Methods:A voluntary,cross-sectional survey of physicians at a single site was conducted using a five-point Likert scale.Data analysis included both descriptive and inferential statistical analyses and stratified by categorical descriptors,including variables of formal training,years of experience,and specialty of practice.Results:One hundred sixteen physicians responded to the survey.The majority disagreed that there was a steep learning curve(57.5%)and that they need more time to identify structures under ultrasound(85.0%).Overall attitudes were mixed about the use of additional software to improve ease of use,but most(55.4%)had positive opinions toward the addition of real-time 3D reconstruction.Respondents without formal training were significantly more likely to agree that additional software would improve ease of ultrasound-guided procedures(p=0.0389).Radiologists were significantly more likely to perceive a steeper learning curve and less likely to advocate for supplemental software compared to emergency medicine physicians,surgeons,or anesthesiologists.Conclusions:Surveyed physicians demonstrated comfort with ultrasound-guided procedures and a mixed stance toward the use of additional software to assist with procedures.Those without formal training had significantly more positive attitudes toward the use of additional technology to augment ultrasound-guided procedures,suggesting a knowledge gap that may benefit from such technology.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Orthopaedic surgical education has traditionally depended on the apprenticeship model of“see one,do one,teach one”.However,reduced operative exposure,stricter work-hour regulations,medicolegal constraints,and patient safety concerns have constrained its practicality.Simulation-based training has become a reliable,safe,and cost-efficient alternative.Dry lab techniques,especially virtual and augmented reality,make up 78%of current dry lab research,whereas wet labs still set the standard for anatomical realism.AIM To evaluate the effectiveness,limitations,and future directions of wet and dry lab simulation in orthopaedic training.METHODS A scoping review was carried out across four databases-PubMed,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,and EBSCOhost-up to 2025.Medical Subject Headings included:"Orthopaedic Education","Wet Lab","Dry Lab","Simulation Training","Virtual Reality",and"Surgical Procedure".Eligible studies focused on orthopaedic or spinal surgical education,employed wet or dry lab techniques,and assessed training effectiveness.Exclusion criteria consisted of non-English publications,abstracts only,non-orthopaedic research,and studies unrelated to simulation.Two reviewers independently screened titles,abstracts,and full texts,resolving discrepancies with a third reviewer.RESULTS From 1851 records,101 studies met inclusion:78 on dry labs,7 on wet labs,4 on both.Virtual reality(VR)simulations were most common,with AI increasingly used for feedback and assessment.Cadaveric training remains the gold standard for accuracy and tactile feedback,while dry labs-especially VR-offer scalability,lower cost(40%-60%savings in five studies),and accessibility for novices.Senior residents prefer wet labs for complex tasks;juniors favour dry labs for basics.Challenges include limited transferability data,lack of standard outcome metrics,and ethical concerns about cadaver use and AI assessment.CONCLUSION Wet and dry labs each have unique strengths in orthopaedic training.A hybrid approach combining both,supported by standardised assessments and outcome studies,is most effective.Future efforts should aim for uniform reporting,integrating new technologies,and policy support for hybrid curricula to enhance skills and patient care.
文摘Healthy behavior has long been linked to mental health outcomes.However,the role of artificial intelligence(AI)literacy in shaping healthy behaviors and its potential impact on mental health remains underexplored.This paper presents a scoping review offering a novel perspective on the intersection of healthy behaviors,mental health,and AI literacy.By examining how individuals’understanding of AI influences their choices regarding nutrition and their susceptibility to mental health issues,the current study explores emerging trends in health behavior decision-making.This emphasizes the need for integrating AI literacy into mental health and health behaviors education,as well as the development of AI-driven tools to support healthier behavior choices.It highlights that individuals with low AI literacy may misinterpret or overly depend on AI guidance,resulting in maladaptive health choices,while those with high AI literacy may be more likely to engage reflectively and sustain positive behaviors.The paper outlines the importance of inclusive education,user-centered design,and community-based support systems to enhance AI literacy for digitally marginalized groups.AI literacy may be positioned as a key determinant of health equity,better allowing for interdisciplinary strategies that empower individuals to make informed,autonomous decisions that promote both physical and mental health.
文摘The advent of artificial intelligence(AI)in recent years has brought about transformative changes across various sectors,including healthcare.In nursing practice,education,and research,AI has the potential to revolutionize traditional methodologies,enhance learning experiences,and improve patient outcomes.Integrating AI tools and techniques can provide clinicians with smarter clinical solutions and nursing students with more robust and interactive learning environments,while also advancing research capabilities in the field.Despite the promising prospects,the incorporation of AI into nursing practice,education,and research presents several challenges.Firstly,there is a concern about the potential displacement of human roles in nursing due to automation,which may affect the human-centric nature of nursing care.Secondly,there are issues related to the lag in AI competency among nurses.Many current nursing curricula do not include comprehensive AI training,leading to a lack of preparedness in utilizing these technologies effectively.Lastly,the ethical implications of AI in healthcare,such as data privacy,patient consent,and the potential for biased algorithms,need to be meticulously addressed.To harness the full potential of AI in nursing practice,education,and research,several strategic actions including reinvesting in humanistic practice,revising core competencies and curriculum,and developing new ethical guidelines.
文摘BACKGROUND Patients with depression following coronary heart disease often exhibit insufficient psychological resilience and self-care abilities;therefore,emphasis must be placed on nursing interventions.AIM To analyze the application value of problem-oriented education combined with nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model in depressed patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS This study included 150 patients diagnosed with PCI postoperative depression because of coronary heart disease between February 2022 and February 2024.Participants were divided into two groups:A control group(n=75)receiving problem-oriented education and an observation group(n=75)receiving combined nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model.Depression status,psychological resilience,self-care ability,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Before nursing interventions,there were no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).After the interventions,depression scores decreased while psychological resilience,self-care ability,and quality of life scores increased significantly in the observation group compared to that in the control group,with statistically significant differences noted(P<0.05).This combined approach can enhance psychological resilience,improve self-care abilities,and elevate the overall quality of life,warranting further promotion in clinical practice.CONCLUSION Combination of problem-oriented education and nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model effectively alleviates depression in patients following PCI for coronary heart disease.

文摘The advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI)has garnered significant attention within the academic research community,reflecting the prevailing zeitgeist.However,there is a paucity of literature that has delved into its connection with the higher order thinking skills of human beings.The purpose of this systematic review is to investigate the relationship between AI utilization and the development of critical thinking(CT)in the field of education.A systematic literature search was performed in two databases,Web of Science and Scopus,with a focus on empirical studies related to AI and CT.The review process followed the PRISMA framework and adopted a bottom-up approach,Ultimately,the integrated review synthesized 21 eligible studies from a total of 649 articles.The systematic review identified three relationships between AI technologies and CT.The results suggest that AI technologies can help to enhance learners’CT skills(n=13).However,excessive or inappropriate utilization of AI may hinder CT development(n=7).Moreover,the cultivation of CT skills has been shown to positively influence the effectiveness of AI utilization(n=4).This article represents the first literature review to delve into the reciprocal relationship between AI implementation and CT development within the education field,striving to illuminate the ways in which learners can enhance their higher-order thinking skills through more effective utilization of AI technologies.
文摘The micro-public opinion environment,characterized by information fragmentation,instantaneous dissemination,emotional contagion,and diverse values,has profoundly transformed the information acquisition patterns and cognitive formation processes of college students.It also poses new challenges and opportunities for innovation in ideological and political education(hereinafter referred to as“IPE”)for college students.Starting from the contemporary value of IPE for college students,this paper analyzes the logical connection between the micro-public opinion environment and IPE,thoroughly examines the core challenges faced by IPE in this context,and proposes specific innovative paths from four perspectives:content,methods,subjects,and mechanisms.The aim is to provide insights for enhancing the pertinence and effectiveness of IPE for college students in the micro-public opinion environment.
文摘Background:We aimed to study physician attitudes toward ultrasound-guided procedures and possible improvements.We hypothesized that the usage of ultrasound in procedures may be limited by a high barrier of entry and that most physicians would choose to adopt software that provides real-time image guidance if accessible.Methods:A voluntary,cross-sectional survey of physicians at a single site was conducted using a five-point Likert scale.Data analysis included both descriptive and inferential statistical analyses and stratified by categorical descriptors,including variables of formal training,years of experience,and specialty of practice.Results:One hundred sixteen physicians responded to the survey.The majority disagreed that there was a steep learning curve(57.5%)and that they need more time to identify structures under ultrasound(85.0%).Overall attitudes were mixed about the use of additional software to improve ease of use,but most(55.4%)had positive opinions toward the addition of real-time 3D reconstruction.Respondents without formal training were significantly more likely to agree that additional software would improve ease of ultrasound-guided procedures(p=0.0389).Radiologists were significantly more likely to perceive a steeper learning curve and less likely to advocate for supplemental software compared to emergency medicine physicians,surgeons,or anesthesiologists.Conclusions:Surveyed physicians demonstrated comfort with ultrasound-guided procedures and a mixed stance toward the use of additional software to assist with procedures.Those without formal training had significantly more positive attitudes toward the use of additional technology to augment ultrasound-guided procedures,suggesting a knowledge gap that may benefit from such technology.

文摘With the development of new media technology and the popularity of the TikTok platform in China,a large number of popular vocal music teachers have flocked to online platforms for teaching.Online vocal music education in China is undergoing a transformation and facing challenges.This study adopts an exploratory research approach,interviewing students learning pop vocal music,and observing popular pop teachers on TikTok.The advantages,disadvantages,techniques,and methods of domestic TikTok pop vocal music teaching were investigated and studied,and a series of experiences and suggestions for optimizing TikTok teaching were put forward.The results of this study are helpful for understanding the advantages and disadvantages of TikTok pop vocal music teaching and grasping the correct development direction.These guidance and suggestions can stimulate teachers’creativity and improve their vocal music teaching level.

文摘Based on the educational evaluation reform,this study explores the construction of an evidence-based value-added evaluation system based on data-driven,aiming to solve the limitations of traditional evaluation methods.The research adopts the method of combining theoretical analysis and practical application,and designs the evidence-based value-added evaluation framework,which includes the core elements of a multi-source heterogeneous data acquisition and processing system,a value-added evaluation agent based on a large model,and an evaluation implementation and application mechanism.Through empirical research verification,the evaluation system has remarkable effects in improving learning participation,promoting ability development,and supporting teaching decision-making,and provides a theoretical reference and practical path for educational evaluation reform in the new era.The research shows that the evidence-based value-added evaluation system based on data-driven can reflect students’actual progress more fairly and objectively by accurately measuring the difference in starting point and development range of students,and provide strong support for the realization of high-quality education development.

文摘Pharmacy is an important subfield of the medical sciences,and its development is inseparable from pharmacy education.Pharmacy education outputs indispensable professionals and expertise for the healthcare industry,promotes the development of pharmacy skills,and supports the development of the pharmaceutical and health sectors.To this end,many insightful studies have been carried out to promote the development and progress of pharmacy education.These studies have been published in high-quality pharmacy education journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection(WoSCC),and the two journals with the largest number of published articles are the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning.The 200 most-cited papers historically in these two journals have a significant impact on the research paradigm and future directions in the field of pharmacy education.Therefore,this paper summarizes the knowledge domains of these 200 papers and uses the scientometric method to study their basic information,authorship distribution,citation performance,publishing paradigm and hotspot mining.The era of Holistic Integrative Pharmacy(HIP),in which the focus has shifted from isolated pharmacological interventions to more collaborative,patient-centered,and interdisciplinary approaches,underscores the importance of evolving educational methodologies.In this context,understanding the scientometric trends in pharmacy education becomes even more crucial.This study aims to explore the current development status of pharmacy education,develop more innovative and effective educational models,and promote the widespread application of HIP in pharmacy education.The goal is to enhance the overall quality of pharmacy education and provide guidance and insights for the future development of pharmacy education.
