So comprehensive profession-cultivating, socialization and economy-serving should be the direction of the education of foreign languages department, related foreign forensic document translation and professional direction of public foreign language teaching as well are the aims of this reform of education. In modern society, the essence of social competition is the competition of talents who are in need of education, and the education's quality can decide a nation's future and destiny. With the continuous development of China, Chinese educational system is also facing a new stage of development. Starting with analyzing the case of New Oriental School, a very popular training institution in China, this paper finds its sponsoring characteristics and the current situation of education in China by surveying and comparing some data. It is found that New Oriental School's success is the integration of Chinese and western culture. On the one hand, New Oriental School pays attention to training teachers and learning advanced teaching ideas and methods of western countries, on the other hand, its education is directed towards Chinese examination-oriented education, which results from the current situation that China has a large population and sharp competitions and the examination-oriented education can not be replaced in this moment. Chinese education can get a lot of inspirations from New Oriental School's successful experience. This paper makes a suggestion that China can benefit from the mode of New Oriental School, learning the advanced concepts and teaching methods of western countries, and doing some improvements to explore a suitable way for Chinese educational development. 展开更多

The survey, undertaken in the Czech Republic, is based on a sample of students (in total 432) in part of South Bohemia. This paper presents the results of a qualitative research based on a focus group organized within the specializations of Tourism-Services,and Management of FSEAA Brasov,and based on evaluation questionnaires of Management in Tourism courses,organized by SFMT during 2016.In this research,the main features of current graduates(Generation Z born after 1994)were captured,the first generation raised in a digital environment with an online childhood,in relationship with their attitude towards the labor market compared to previous generations(X-born between 1966 and 1976 and Y-Millennials-born between 1977 and 1995),and the need to adapt to the educational system,and the employers’attitude towards these new perspectives,where personal time becomes often more important than the work place.This is a generation of independent people that will change the world!The research has led to conclusions and recommendations at several levels:(1)at a national level-the need to propose some strategies for retaining employment inside the national economy and attracting labor from Diaspora;here an important role can be played within the European funding programs POCU and PNRDP to finance entrepreneurial initiatives;(2)at the employers level-implementing appropriate strategies of attracting and creating loyalty of human resources,of reduction or elimination of seasonality;and(3)at the educational system-strategies to encourage completion of studies at all levels,adapting the system to the needs of new generations,through employers’involvement in the educational process by stimulating the dual vocational education. 展开更多

The Roma represents one of the major ethnolinguistic minorities in Serbia. According to the last census, 108,193 Roma citizens live in the Republic of Serbia, and they represent 1.44% of the total population. Because of the frequent migrations and unreported places of residence, it may be considered that this data do not demonstrate the real situation. According to the unofficial data of the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights, it is considered that there are between 400 to 500 thousand Roma citizens in Serbia. Due to a number of economic and social reasons less than 40% of Roma children become part of the overall formal education system. Even though many Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) programs try to include Roma children into educational system, segregation and discrimination are still present. The causes tbr exclusion of the Roma children from the Serbian educational system are numerous: poor economic situation of Roma families, complicated bureaucracy, and low level of competence in language of education, etc.. This paper examines the main reasons for exclusion of the Roma children from the Serbian educational system, and offers some ideas for programs that could change the present situation and help Roma children integrate in educational system and society. 展开更多

This sphere forces us to implement new methods and approaches in everyday learning process. The following academic research done on psycho-pedagogical sphere in higher education showed that the enhancement in the educational system is developing slowly because of the lack of research. By all means, it is the right time to follow the objectives and try to develop and suggest the current teaching process using technology that of course will be based on the development of quality control and thesaurus-agency approaches. As mentioned in Bolkan and Goodboy, their research showed that teachers who promote intellectual stimulation empower and enrich students both cognitive and affective getting knowledge and experience process in the classroom. The main objective of current experiment is that it suggests intellectual stimulation which is linked to intrinsic motivation, and that intrinsic motivation has all the advantages to influence students' use of effective studying behaviors. According to Dunlosky, Marsh, Nathan, Willingham and Rawson, there are specific techniques which can influence on the overall process of higher education. 展开更多

This study was based on a descriptive research design. The population comprised of males and females aged between 15 and 19 years studying at the high school, college, and university levels in Phetchaburi, Thailand. The sample group size was calculated by using Taro Yamane's formula at a reliability level of .95. The instrument used was the questionnaire of College of Public Health as modified by Chulalongkorn University for use in research. Instrument quality was calculated by using the Kuder-Richardson 20 formula; an internal consistency value of.86 was obtained. According to the findings, the comparison of access to reproductive health services by adolescents at each level of education, the educational levels of the adolescents were similar to one another in that they were found to have received instruction about sexuality and reproductive health. The instruction most frequently received was on reproductive health and the least frequent subject was life skills, ability to adjust to daily lifestyles. The findings suggested that the capacity of medical and academic personnel should be developed in order to gain knowledge, attitudes to provide reproductive health services, especially on subjects concerning life skills and ability to adjust to daily life and interacting with the people surrounding adolescents, including skills on how to refuse sexual activity with partners. 展开更多

The paper is written against the backdrop of the South African educational system that is at the crossroads regarding its adoption of a participatory form of education (i.e., an educational system that is rooted on egalitarian ideals) or a system of education that is more elitist and has little, if any, to do with the uplifting of the historically marginalized. Since the paper is based on a conceptual analysis of theories of non-formal and/or adult education, the praxis of the argument is informed by philosophers who have written extensively on the subject. Solid and educational policies are also compared in order to formulate conclusions and strategies based on the analysis of educational trends that encourage democratic ideals. 展开更多

The aim of this study was to contribute to the teaching of sexually transmitted diseases(STDs)in high schools.The study was done from the research knowledge about STDs of 61 students from two schools of Rio Claro-SP,Brazil:A state and a private school,through a questionnaire(pre-test)and an interview with two biology professors,and each one from each school.The results indicated that,in general,the students in the private school had more knowledge about the subject.The public school students showed more problems with knowledge about the symptoms of STDs.In those two schools,the knowledge on the subject proved to be generic and superficial.According to the biology teachers,both of them teach about the content,and the teaching material contains themes of sexuality and STDs.From these results,an intervention was developed with students,using methods such as group dynamics and lecture dialogued lessons.After the intervention,there was an increase in the percentage of correct answers for the students of both schools(post-test)which shows that it was effective.We conclude that this work has achieved the objective of clarifying the theme to the students,but lack the schools a better dialogue with them for the planning of this content,since,although it is foreseen the your teaching,you're not going on an apprenticeship. 展开更多

Purpose:The aim was to synthesize quantitative and qualitative research that identified the most effective educational strategies for nurse-led inhaler technique(IT)education in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD)patients,as perceived by patients,healthcare providers,and nurses.Methods:A systematic literature search in Embase,PubMed,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,and CINAHL from 2018 to 30 June 2024 was conducted.In total,327 articles were identified.The results of 14 studies that met the inclusion criteria were synthesized.Data were analyzed with des-criptive and semi-quantitative methods to yield summarizing findings on the effectiveness of different educational strate-gies.All investigations had assessed patient adherence to IT.Results:Data indicated that nurse-led IT teaching strategies are effective in promoting IT adherence and correctness in COPD patients utilizing the personalized Teach-Back method.However,studies in disease control and comparison of patient IT satisfaction and self-efficacy need further investigation.Conclusion:The results of this study may contribute to the understanding of the most effective educational strategies in nurse-led IT education for COPD patients.The synthesized findings can be used for the development of new educational interventions and assessment instruments for IT adherence. 展开更多

The integration of visual elements,such as emojis,into educational content represents a promising approach to enhancing student engagement and comprehension.However,existing efforts in emoji integration often lack systematic frameworks capable of addressing the contextual and pedagogical nuances required for effective implementation.This paper introduces a novel framework that combines Data-Driven Error-Correcting Output Codes(DECOC),Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)networks,and Multi-Layer Deep Neural Networks(ML-DNN)to identify optimal emoji placements within computer science course materials.The originality of the proposed system lies in its ability to leverage sentiment analysis techniques and contextual embeddings to align emoji recommendations with both the emotional tone and learning objectives of course content.A meticulously annotated dataset,comprising diverse topics in computer science,was developed to train and validate the model,ensuring its applicability across a wide range of educational contexts.Comprehensive validation demonstrated the system’s superior performance,achieving an accuracy of 92.4%,precision of 90.7%,recall of 89.3%,and an F1-score of 90.0%.Comparative analysis with baselinemodels and relatedworks confirms themodel’s ability tooutperformexisting approaches inbalancing accuracy,relevance,and contextual appropriateness.Beyond its technical advancements,this framework offers practical benefits for educators by providing an Artificial Intelligence-assisted(AI-assisted)tool that facilitates personalized content adaptation based on student sentiment and engagement patterns.By automating the identification of appropriate emoji placements,teachers can enhance digital course materials with minimal effort,improving the clarity of complex concepts and fostering an emotionally supportive learning environment.This paper contributes to the emerging field of AI-enhanced education by addressing critical gaps in personalized content delivery and pedagogical support.Its findings highlight the transformative potential of integrating AI-driven emoji placement systems into educational materials,offering an innovative tool for fostering student engagement and enhancing learning outcomes.The proposed framework establishes a foundation for future advancements in the visual augmentation of educational resources,emphasizing scalability and adaptability for broader applications in e-learning. 展开更多

This study explores the cultural and value foundations of the educational goals of higher education in Kazakhstan and China.Based on the historical development and cultural traditions of the two countries,this study compares the similarities and differences of the educational goals of the two countries through qualitative literature content analysis.Both countries have taken“modernization and internationalization”as one of the core development directions of higher education development,but China’s educational philosophy is rooted in Confucianism and socialist core values,emphasizing country and collectivism;while Kazakhstan,based on neoliberal orientation,draws on the European education framework,gradually integrates multicultural concepts,emphasizes national identity and attaches importance to students’individual development.This study uses Hofstede’s cultural dimensions and postcolonial education theory to explore how different nation-building narratives affect the educational goals of higher education.By comparing value systems,institutional logics,and student training models,it helps to understand how the educational systems of the“Global South”countries seek a balance between international standards and local cultural identity.It provides inspiration for the development of education based on culture and mutual reference under the global education trend,and provides a comparative education perspective for reform localization. 展开更多
