In recent years,with the advent of the era of educational digitalization,the curriculum ideological and political teaching of gerontological nursing in higher vocational colleges has ushered in new development opportunities.Under the background of educational digitalization,in addition to teaching students’professional knowledge and skills of gerontological nursing,teachers should also focus on improving their ideological and moral literacy,guiding students to establish correct values in their hearts,promoting their all-round development in a true sense,and thus cultivating them into gerontological nursing talents with exquisite medical skills and noble medical ethics.This will better meet the social demand for professional gerontological nursing talents and inject inexhaustible motivation into the development of the elderly care industry.In this regard,this paper first elaborates on the value implication of the curriculum ideological and political teaching reform of higher vocational gerontological nursing under the background of educational digitalization,and then puts forward effective implementation strategies for teaching reform,aiming to provide certain reference for relevant researchers and better improve the effectiveness of curriculum ideological and political education in higher vocational gerontological nursing teaching. 展开更多

Healthy behavior has long been linked to mental health outcomes.However,the role of artificial intelligence(AI)literacy in shaping healthy behaviors and its potential impact on mental health remains underexplored.This paper presents a scoping review offering a novel perspective on the intersection of healthy behaviors,mental health,and AI literacy.By examining how individuals’understanding of AI influences their choices regarding nutrition and their susceptibility to mental health issues,the current study explores emerging trends in health behavior decision-making.This emphasizes the need for integrating AI literacy into mental health and health behaviors education,as well as the development of AI-driven tools to support healthier behavior choices.It highlights that individuals with low AI literacy may misinterpret or overly depend on AI guidance,resulting in maladaptive health choices,while those with high AI literacy may be more likely to engage reflectively and sustain positive behaviors.The paper outlines the importance of inclusive education,user-centered design,and community-based support systems to enhance AI literacy for digitally marginalized groups.AI literacy may be positioned as a key determinant of health equity,better allowing for interdisciplinary strategies that empower individuals to make informed,autonomous decisions that promote both physical and mental health. 展开更多

Digital educational content is gaining importance as an incubator of pedagogical methodologies in formal and informal online educational settings. Its educational efficiency is directly dependent on its quality, however educational content is more than information and data. This paper presents a new data quality framework for assessing digital educational content used for teaching in distance learning environments. The model relies on the ISO2500 series quality standard and beside providing the mechanisms for multi-facet quality assessment it also supports organizations that design, create, manage and use educational content with the quality tools (expressed as quality metrics and measurement methods) to provide a more efficient distance education experience. This article explores the transformative role of digital education in overcoming geographic and systemic challenges in the Maldives,an archipelagic nation facing unique educational constraints.Leveraging digital tools offers a critical solution to bridge these barriers and ensure accessible,quality education across the islands.The Maldives National University(MNU)has undertaken initiatives to expand digital education offerings,accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic to facilitate online learning across the Maldives.Drawing on MNU’s 2021 study,“The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on the Higher Education Sector of Maldives:Responses and Challenges,”this paper examines challenges such as infrastructure limitations,digital literacy gaps,and student engagement,alongside MNU’s strategies to address these issues.This article also highlights MNU’s ongoing research initiatives,including participation in the EU Erasmus project DIGITAsia and a completed e-learning project with the EU,and discusses the value of international collaboration in advancing digital education.Furthermore,it outlines current government initiatives aimed at enhancing digital literacy among citizens.Future directions are discussed,including the integration of adaptive technologies to further personalize learning and prepare students for the demands of a global digital economy. 展开更多

This systematic review aims to examine the role of modern technologies in supporting quality in teaching and learning processes.Using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)guidelines,a comprehensive analysis of literature published between 2020-2025 was conducted to identify current trends,challenges,and advances in technology-enhanced education.The study analyzed 15 peer-reviewed articles focusing on the implementation of modern technologies such as technology-enhanced learning platforms,professional development systems,electronic educational resources,information technology applications,and next-generation learning systems in educational settings.The findings reveal that modern technologies significantly enhance learning outcomes,student engagement,and teaching effectiveness when properly implemented.Key benefits include improved 21st century skills development(up to 38%improvement),enhanced teaching competency(37%improvement),increased learning efficiency(41%enhancement),and better classroom performance(35%improvement in efficiency).However,challenges such as systematic implementation requirements,pedagogical integration needs,infrastructure limitations,technical investment requirements,and institutional coordination barriers remain significant obstacles to widespread adoption.The review identifies emerging technologies including next-generation learning systems,interactive digital platforms,and innovative teaching technologies as promising solutions for future educational enhancement.The study concludes that successful integration of modern technologies requires systematic implementation approaches,comprehensive teacher training,robust institutional support,pedagogical alignment,and continuous evaluation processes.Critical success factors include strategic planning,quality assurance frameworks,sustainability planning,and evidence-based decision making.These findings provide valuable insights for educators,policymakers,and technology developers working to improve educational quality through technological innovation.The research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on technology-enhanced education and offers practical recommendations for implementing sustainable and effective digital learning solutions that prioritize pedagogical effectiveness while leveraging technological capabilities for comprehensive educational enhancement. 展开更多
