This paper presents a new data quality framework for assessing digital educational content used for teaching in distance learning environments. The model relies on the ISO2500 series quality standard and beside providing the mechanisms for multi-facet quality assessment it also supports organizations that design, create, manage and use educational content with the quality tools (expressed as quality metrics and measurement methods) to provide a more efficient distance education experience. 文摘This article explores the transformative role of digital education in overcoming geographic and systemic challenges in the Maldives,an archipelagic nation facing unique educational constraints.Leveraging digital tools offers a critical solution to bridge these barriers and ensure accessible,quality education across the islands.The Maldives National University(MNU)has undertaken initiatives to expand digital education offerings,accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic to facilitate online learning across the Maldives.Drawing on MNU’s 2021 study,“The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on the Higher Education Sector of Maldives:Responses and Challenges,”this paper examines challenges such as infrastructure limitations,digital literacy gaps,and student engagement,alongside MNU’s strategies to address these issues.This article also highlights MNU’s ongoing research initiatives,including participation in the EU Erasmus project DIGITAsia and a completed e-learning project with the EU,and discusses the value of international collaboration in advancing digital education.Furthermore,it outlines current government initiatives aimed at enhancing digital literacy among citizens.Future directions are discussed,including the integration of adaptive technologies to further personalize learning and prepare students for the demands of a global digital economy.
文摘This systematic review aims to examine the role of modern technologies in supporting quality in teaching and learning processes.Using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)guidelines,a comprehensive analysis of literature published between 2020-2025 was conducted to identify current trends,challenges,and advances in technology-enhanced education.The study analyzed 15 peer-reviewed articles focusing on the implementation of modern technologies such as technology-enhanced learning platforms,professional development systems,electronic educational resources,information technology applications,and next-generation learning systems in educational settings.The findings reveal that modern technologies significantly enhance learning outcomes,student engagement,and teaching effectiveness when properly implemented.Key benefits include improved 21st century skills development(up to 38%improvement),enhanced teaching competency(37%improvement),increased learning efficiency(41%enhancement),and better classroom performance(35%improvement in efficiency).However,challenges such as systematic implementation requirements,pedagogical integration needs,infrastructure limitations,technical investment requirements,and institutional coordination barriers remain significant obstacles to widespread adoption.The review identifies emerging technologies including next-generation learning systems,interactive digital platforms,and innovative teaching technologies as promising solutions for future educational enhancement.The study concludes that successful integration of modern technologies requires systematic implementation approaches,comprehensive teacher training,robust institutional support,pedagogical alignment,and continuous evaluation processes.Critical success factors include strategic planning,quality assurance frameworks,sustainability planning,and evidence-based decision making.These findings provide valuable insights for educators,policymakers,and technology developers working to improve educational quality through technological innovation.The research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on technology-enhanced education and offers practical recommendations for implementing sustainable and effective digital learning solutions that prioritize pedagogical effectiveness while leveraging technological capabilities for comprehensive educational enhancement.

This study aims to draw awareness of the seriousness of cyber dangers and emphasize employing proactive steps to protect our digital future. This paper stresses the necessity of cybersecurity, digital literacy education, and cybercrime awareness in mitigating these widespread hazards through extensive analysis and empirical research. A more resilient and secure digital environment for current and future generations can be established by cultivating a collective understanding of cyber dangers and developing effective preventative measures.

文摘The rapid development of new-generation information technology has triggered the evolution of education and teaching towards digitalization,accelerating the digital transformation of higher education and bringing an important opportunity for the high-quality development of higher education.Firstly,we give an overview of the digital development of higher education and discuss how information technology is reshaping the teaching and learning of higher education.Secondly,we explain the consensus on the digital development of higher education,and focus on summarizing the digital achievements of higher education in China and analyzing the successful experience through the introduction of the digital development trend of higher education in the world.Finally,we point out the current problems and challenges and make a preliminary discussion.Digital empowerment has arrived,and in the era of digitization,the transformation and development of higher education will lead to systemic changes in universities.This is an inevitable stage in the process of higher education development.Digital transformation will drive higher education to be more competitive,inclusive,and accessible,enabling universities to unleash their digital vitality in various service functions and contribute to the construction of a digital China.
