By using GIS, RS and landscape ecology, LandsatTM (1993 and 2009) and ETM (2001) remote sensing images of Licheng District of Ji’nan City, Shandong Province were interpreted, and dynamic changes of landscape pattern ...By using GIS, RS and landscape ecology, LandsatTM (1993 and 2009) and ETM (2001) remote sensing images of Licheng District of Ji’nan City, Shandong Province were interpreted, and dynamic changes of landscape pattern in the district were analyzed at the levels of class and landscape. The results showed that during the 16 years the landscape pattern in the district had changed significantly. (a) From the perspective of patch category, areas of arable land, woodland and grassland decreased unceasingly, and arable land accounted for the largest reduction from 488.15 km 2 in 1993 down to 324.37 km 2 in 2009, witnessing a reduction rate of 33.56%. But the patch quantity and fragmentation increased, patch connectivity reduced. Spatial pattern of construction land expanded and its area witnessed a significant increase of 147.05%. Patch cohesion index increased and connectivity grew better. (b) From the perspective of overall landscape, patch quantity, contagion and perimeter-area fractal dimension decreased, patch shape became simple, the Shannon’s diversity index, Shannon’s evenness index and splitting index increased, landscape heterogeneity rose. [Result] Under the three land use patterns, soil microorganisms were domi- nated by bacteria; soil microbial quantity ranked as wood land's〉cheery tree land's〉 corn field's; and total microbial activity, catalase activity and urease activity all ranked as cherry tree land's〉wood land's〉corn field's. In this context, the concept of "sponge city" is proposed. This paper, based on the theory of sponge city and low impact development, elaborated the origin, development, connotation, and construction method of "sponge city" concept. In this paper, the urban design scheme of Renbei District in Chengdu was taken for example to analyze the geographical environment and climate characteristics of Chengdu and explain the formation and verification of the scheme. It is considered that the "sponge city" is different from the traditional urban infrastructure. It is essentially an ecological approach. It has been the serious problem of many cities in file world, especially in urban areas in developin...Urban flooding has impacted siginficantly on people's living: economic development, environmental pollution, etc.. It has been the serious problem of many cities in file world, especially in urban areas in developing countries because urbanization is too fast but lack of adaptive management planning and infrastructure. In Vietnam, the big cities, such as HCM (Ho Chi Minh) City, Hanoi, etc. have also been influenced severely by floods. By early 2017, HCM City has 171 flooded sites assigned by the district level; 40 submergence points assigned by Steering Center of Flooding Control Program, and 9 tidal flooded points. The paper will establish a suitable method for assessing flood vulnerability in HCM City from natural, social and environmental aspects. The results of a case study in District 6 show that there are four wards with high vulnerability and 10 wards with average vulnerability.展开更多

[Method] By using the daily and hourly precipitation data in Hanbin District of Ankang City during 1961-2003, the occurrence rule and variation characteristics of rainstorm weather in 43 years in the zone were analyzed. [Result] The distribution of rainstorm days in Hanbin District of Ankang City had the obvious season characteristic. The earliest rainstorm days occurred in May and started to increase in June. It frequently happened in July, August and gradually decreased in September. The latest rainstorm finished in the middle ten-day of October. The storm rainfall and days in Hanbin District of Ankang City during 1961-2003 both presented the obvious linear increase trend. From the 1970s to the end of 1980s, it was the period when the storm rainfall was more. The rainstorm days during the 1960s-early 1970s and early 1990s were fewer. The rainstorm days were more from the metaphase of 1970s to late 1980s and after the metaphase of 1990s. The time distribution characteristic of hourly precipitation in the rainstorm days was obvious and based mainly on the single peak type. The time mainly concentrated in the daytime, and the short-time strong precipitation was more. [Conclusion] The research provided the reference basis for accurately forecasting the rainstorm occurrence, disaster prevention and reduction work.展开更多

And then it obtained that urban green land of Wuhua District was dominated by small patches, and patches' average area was small; urban green patches were small and fragmented, and landscape fragmentation was high; landscape connectivity was weak and ecological corridor was narrow, failing to bring ecological effect of landscape corridor into full display. Finally, in view of these problems, it had proposed suggestions for optimization, so as to provide reference and theoretical guidance for optimizing and creating excellent landscape spatial characteristic of urban green land in Wuhua District and constructing landscape pattern of ecological security.展开更多

The time distribution characteristic of hourly precipitation in the rainstorm days was obvious and based mainly on the single peak type. The time mainly concentrated in the daytime, and the short-time strong precipitation was more. [Conclusion] The research provided the reference basis for accurately forecasting the rainstorm occurrence, disaster prevention and reduction work.
文摘With the help of 1∶20 000 satellite image of Kunming City and its satellite remote sensing image with resolution ratio 10 m, based on statistic data from Greening Department of Wuhua District and data collected through field study, by making use of landscape ecological theory and methods, the paper had selected three indexes reflecting landscape spatial characteristic including average patch area, landscape fragmentation and landscape connectivity, to analyze landscape spatial characteristic of urban green land. And then it obtained that urban green land of Wuhua District was dominated by small patches, and patches' average area was small; urban green patches were small and fragmented, and landscape fragmentation was high; landscape connectivity was weak and ecological corridor was narrow, failing to bring ecological effect of landscape corridor into full display. Finally, in view of these problems, it had proposed suggestions for optimization, so as to provide reference and theoretical guidance for optimizing and creating excellent landscape spatial characteristic of urban green land in Wuhua District and constructing landscape pattern of ecological security.

文摘Ecological restoration refers to the containment of soil erosion,restoration of water conservation,climate regulation,maintenance of ecological functions of biodiversity,and improvement of ecological environment and landscape pattern based on self-repairing capacity of the nature and combined with appropriate artificial measures. Since the natural restoration process of karst desertification mountain is very long,it needs to be supplemented by artificial vegetation restoration. This paper introduced the ecological restoration technologies implemented in karst rocky desertification mountains in Xixiu District,Anshun City of Guizhou Province,and also introduced the afforestation tending management measures. It assessed the ecological benefits of the ecological restoration project from five aspects: mountain community characteristics,vegetation coverage,species diversity,afforestation survival rate and landscape effect.

文摘Urban landscape, as an important part of the overall landscape or the overall image of the city, is of great significance in highlighting city features, building green cities, and improving city image, so image of green spaces has become one of the key construction objectives for many cities. Taking Huadu District in Guangzhou City for example, urban green landscape pattern was analyzed from the level of region and district, according to the landscape ecology. The results showed that local green landscapes had many problems such as unreasonable structure, high fragmentation, unbalanced distribution of green space types, poor corridor networks etc.. In view of these problems, countermeasures for improving green landscape images in Huadu District were proposed.
