The emergency treatment of thoracic injuries varies of general conditions and modern warfare. However, there are no unified battlefield treatment guidelines for thoracic injuries in the Chinese People's Liberation... The emergency treatment of thoracic injuries varies of general conditions and modern warfare. However, there are no unified battlefield treatment guidelines for thoracic injuries in the Chinese People's Liberation Army(PLA). An expert consensus has been reached based on the epidemiology of thoracic injuries and the concept of battlefield treatment combined with the existing levels of military medical care in modern warfare. Since there are no differences in the specialized treatment for thoracic injuries between general conditions and modern warfare, first aid, emergency treatment, and early treatment of thoracic injuries are introduced separately in three levels in this consensus. At Level Ⅰfacilities, tension pneumothorax and open pneumothorax are recommended for initial assessment during the first aid stage. Re-evaluation and further treatment for hemothorax, flail chest, and pericardial tamponade are recommended at Level Ⅱ facilities. At Level Ⅲ facilities, simple surgical operations such as emergency thoracotomy and debridement surgery for open pneumothorax are recommended. The grading standard for evidence evaluation and recommendation was used to reach this expert consensus. 展开更多

Comprehensive recycling of spent automotive lithium-ion batteries in China:Full-chain processes and recycling strategies

The recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)has aroused considerable interest among the general public,industry professionals,and academic researchers,driven by its environmental,resource recovery,and economic benefits,particularly for those used in new energy vehicles.However,recycling spent automotive LIBs for industrial production remains challenging due to technical feasibility,recycling efficiency,economic viability,and environmental sustainability.This review aims to systematically analyze the status of spent automotive LIBs recycling,and provide an overall review of the full-chain recycling processes for technical evaluation and selection.Firstly,it carefully describes the pre-treatment process,which includes discharging,disassembly,inspection,crushing,pyrolysis,and sieving of LIBs.Subsequently,it examines the principal technologies in extracting valuable metals,including pyro-metallurgy,hydro-metallurgy,microbial metallurgy,mechanical chemistry,and electrochemical deposition.A comprehensive analysis of the operation,mechanism,efficiency,and economics is provided,helping readers understand the technical advantages,disadvantages,and applicable scenarios of each process.Furthermore,it also considers novel environmentally-friendly processes,such as direct regeneration and direct synthesis,and analyzes their potential and limitations in the resource recycling field.Finally,differentiated comprehensive recycling strategies are proposed for typical spent automotive LIBs,aiming at providing effective guidance and recommendations for industrial investors and practitioners,and promoting sustainable development of the comprehensive recycling industry. 展开更多

Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs), as the first choice for green batteries, have been widely used in energy storage, electric vehicles, 3C devices, and other related fields, and will have greater application prospects in th... Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs), as the first choice for green batteries, have been widely used in energy storage, electric vehicles, 3C devices, and other related fields, and will have greater application prospects in the future. However, one of the obstacles hindering the future development of battery technology is how to accurately evaluate and monitor battery health, which affects the entire lifespan of battery use. It is not enough to assess battery health comprehensively through the state of health(SoH) alone, especially when nonlinear aging occurs in onboard applications. Here, for the first time, we propose a brand-new health evaluation indicator—state of nonlinear aging(SoNA) to explain the nonlinear aging phenomenon that occurs during the battery use, and also design a knee-point identification method and two SoNA quantitative methods. We apply our health evaluation indicator to build a complete LIB full-lifespan grading evaluation system and a ground-to-cloud service framework, which integrates multi-scenario data collection, multi-dimensional data-based grading evaluation, and cloud management functions. Our works fill the gap in the LIBs’ health evaluation of nonlinear aging, which is of great significance for the health and safety evaluation of LIBs in the field of echelon utilization such as vehicles and energy storage. In addition, this comprehensive evaluation system and service framework are expected to be extended to other battery material systems other than LIBs, yet guiding the design of new energy ecosystem. 展开更多

En Echelon Faults and Basin Structure in Huizhou Sag, South China Sea: Implications for the Tectonics of the SE Asia 被引量:2

The Huizhou sag is situated on the continental shelf of the northern continental margin of the South China Sea. In this paper we present a grid of reflection seismic and well data to characterize the basin structure and prominent unconformities. We employ EBM and 2DMOVE softwares to explore the subsidence history and stratigraphic development history of the basin. We found a rapid subsidence period since 15.5 Ma. Moreover, we calculated the stretching factors of the upper crust and the whole crust in the Huizhou sag. The results show the values are 1.10–1.13 and 1.08–1.31, respectively, indicating faulting in Huizhou sag is relatively small. It is noteworthy that the faults map reveals en echelon distribution at the north and south margins of the basin. We suggest en echelon faults here are caused by the subduction of Proto-South China Sea toward NW Borneo block and cease of the South China Sea. Considering the pronounced unconformities, subsidence rates, fault activities and sediment thickness, the Cenozoic tectonic evolution of the basin can be divided into rifting(49–32 Ma), post-rifted(32–15.5 Ma) and rapid subsidence(15.5–0 Ma) stages. Our study will shed new light on the tectonics of SE Asia and petroleum exploration in the South China Sea. 展开更多

In this paper,the flocking flight of Northern Bald Ibises(Geronticus eremita)and their induced drag during the flock are investigated.Northern Bald Ibises are long-range migratory birds.These birds fly in an echelon and V-shaped formation,possibly to reduce their drag;therefore,as a result,they may save energy to fly farther.The aerodynamic drag forces of each individual bird and the flock are modeled theoretically.Extensive analysis shows how,during flocking flight,the drag force reduces as the size of the flock increases.Additionally,wingtip spacing effects on the total drag of the flock are investigated.The fraction of drag reduction of individual ibises is also analyzed.Four initial arrangement scenarios are considered for flocks of ibises of different sizes in this study.Two shuffling algorithms are applied for position switching and energy balancing of the ibises during their flight.It is suggested that ibises can save energy by means of different arrangements of flock members during long flights.The results indicate that how different sizes of the birds can manipulate their positions to fly further and save energy during migration. 展开更多

The paper deals with the mechanical origin and rules of en echelon folds and their secondary fractures by means of elastic stability theory and nonlinear fracture criterion.Obtains the quantitative relations among en echelon angles of en echelon folds,ratios of boundary stresses and en echelon pitches of shear zone under an action of general boundary forces(tension shear,pure shear or compression shear).As an applied example,the paper researches the displacement field,stress field,distortion energy distribution, state of secondary fractures and energy released by fracturing of en echelon fold structure developed at the east foot of Taihang Mountain.The results of research show that maximum principal (compressive) stresses,maximum shear stresses,high value area of distortion energy are in the nuclear parts of en echelon folds.In these parts compressive fractures were easily developed in approximately parallel with fold axis.So it is verified that the secondary fracture of en echelon folds is a mechanism controlling a strong earthquake. 展开更多

The article discusses five local stories that, without being connected to each other, tell about the socio-cultural circumstances accompanying creation of works of art that have received significant (but not the highest) recognition on a global scale. The discussion concerns three songs about cities: Torna a Surriento, Moscow Nights, and Li Beirut;a famous Soviet painting Low Marks Again;and the design features of Audi cars for the US market over the past decade. The approach to each certain artifact, be it song, painting, or the design of rear turn signals, is developed on the basis of disciplinary affiliation, whereas a discipline is more sociology, anthropology, or history of an appropriate art, than its theory. Another research method places a local context into the test tube of globalization. Experience shows that these two methods are applicable to different arts, places, and periods enriching the scientist with more detailed information about the era studied. 展开更多

It shows that b value of the sample decreases obviously when the sample with compressive en echelon faults changes into a tensile one after interchange occurs between stress axis σ1 and σ2. A similar experiment is observed when the sample with tensile en echelon faults changes into that with a bend fault after two segments of the en echelon fault linking up. These facts indicate that the variation of b value may con-tain the information of the regional dominant structural model. Therefore, b-value analyses could be a new method for studying regional dominant structural models. 展开更多

In order to solve fuzzy mathematical programming with soft constraints,the initial models must first be converted into crisp models.Membership functions are employed to describe the fuzzy right-hand side parameters needed to achieve this conversion.In some cases,echelon form membership functions(EFMFs)are required to depict the actual fuzzy situation.However,due to their discrete properties,fuzzy programming problems with such membership functions cannot be modeled by traditional methods.Motivated by these challenges,this paper introduces a novel absolute value representation modeling approach to formulate fuzzy programming using EFMFs.This approach can translate a discrete model to a continuous one which can then be easily solved.Finally,by means of a numerical example,the effectiveness of our new approach is demonstrated. 展开更多

Magnetic pressure in electromagnetic tube forming with echelon coil

The effects of geometrical characteristics of echelon coil on the magnetic pressure distribution and their contribution to the final shape of parts were focused and investigated through experiments and numerical simulation using FEM software ANSYS. The results show that the geometrical characteristics of echelon coil play a key role in controlling the magnetic pressure acting on the tube. They show a hump-like distribution near the interface between bigger diameter region and transition region of echelon coil, and affect the final shape of tubular parts then. With the reduction of relative diameter, the magnetic pressure in smaller diameter region decreases and its distribution gradient in transition region increases. With the augment of relative length, the magnetic pressure increases in bigger diameter region, while it almost remains constant in smaller diameter region, and the gradient in transition region enhances sharply. The distribution of magnetic pressure in the axial direction of tube agrees well with the profile of specimen. 展开更多
