Displacement back-analysis is the most widely used method;however, the reliability of thecurrent approaches remains unsatisfactory. Therefore, in this paper, a multistage rock mass parameterback-analysis method, that considers the construction process and displacement losses is proposed andimplemented through the coupling of numerical simulation, auto-machine learning (AutoML), andmulti-objective optimization algorithms (MOOAs). First, a parametric modeling platform for mechanizedtwin tunnels is developed, generating a dataset through extensive numerical simulations. Next, theAutoML method is utilized to establish a surrogate model linking rock parameters and displacements. The tunnel construction process is divided into multiple stages, transforming the rock mass parameterback-analysis into a multi-objective optimization problem, for which multi-objective optimization algorithmsare introduced to obtain the rock mass parameters. The newly proposed rock mass parameterback-analysis method is validated in a mechanized twin tunnel project, and its accuracy and effectivenessare demonstrated. Compared with traditional single-stage back-analysis methods, the proposedmodel decreases the average absolute percentage error from 12.73% to 4.34%, significantly improving theaccuracy of the back-analysis. Moreover, although the accuracy of back analysis significantly increaseswith the number of construction stages considered, the back analysis time is acceptable. This studyprovides a new method for displacement back analysis that is efficient and accurate, thereby paving theway for precise parameter determination in numerical simulations.展开更多

Moreover, a circular crowded sorting approach is adopted to improve the uniformity of the population distribution. Finally, by combining the algorithm with control vector parameterization,an approach is proposed to solve the dynamic optimization problems of chemical processes. It is proved that the new algorithm performs better compared with other classic multiobjective optimization algorithms through the results of solving three dynamic optimization problems.

文摘A multiple-objective evolutionary algorithm (MOEA) with a new Decision Making (DM) scheme for MOD of conceptual missile shapes was presented, which is contrived to determine suitable tradeoffs from Pareto optimal set using interactive preference articulation. There are two objective functions, to maximize ratio of lift to drag and to minimize radar cross-section (RCS) value. 3D computational electromagnetic solver was used to evaluate RCS, electromagnetic performance. 3D Navier-Stokes flow solver was adopted to evaluate aerodynamic performance. A flight mechanics solver was used to analyze the stability of the missile. Based on the MOEA, a synergetic optimization of missile shapes for aerodynamic and radar cross-section performance is completed. The results show that the proposed approach can be used in more complex optimization case of flight vehicles.

文摘Multi-objective optimization is critical for problem-solving in engineering, economics, and AI.This study introduces the Multi-Objective Chef-Based Optimization Algorithm(MOCBOA),an upgraded version of the Chef-Based Optimization Algorithm(CBOA)that addresses distinct objectives. Our approach is unique in systematically examining four dominance relations—Pareto,Epsilon,Cone-epsilon,and Strengthened dominance—to evaluate their influence on sustaining solution variety and driving convergence toward the Pareto front. Our comparison investigation, which was conducted on fifty test problems from the CEC 2021 benchmark and applied to areas such as chemical engineering, mechanical design, and power systems, reveals that the dominance approach used has a considerable impact on the key optimization measures such as the hypervolume metric. This paper provides a solid foundation for determining themost effective dominance approach and significant insights for both theoretical research and practical applications in multi-objective optimization.

文摘Accurate determination of rock mass parameters is essential for ensuring the accuracy of numericalsimulations. This studyprovides a new method for displacement back analysis that is efficient and accurate, thereby paving theway for precise parameter determination in numerical simulations.

文摘Based on improved multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO) algorithm with principal component analysis(PCA) methodology, an efficient high-dimension multiobjective optimization method is proposed, which, as the purpose of this paper, aims to improve the convergence of Pareto front in multi-objective optimization design. The mathematical efficiency, the physical reasonableness and the reliability in dealing with redundant objectives of PCA are verified by typical DTLZ5 test function and multi-objective correlation analysis of supercritical airfoil, and the proposed method is integrated into aircraft multi-disciplinary design(AMDEsign) platform, which contains aerodynamics, stealth and structure weight analysis and optimization module. Then the proposed method is used for the multi-point integrated aerodynamic optimization of a wide-body passenger aircraft, in which the redundant objectives identified by PCA are transformed to optimization constraints, and several design methods are compared. The design results illustrate that the strategy used in this paper is sufficient and multi-point design requirements of the passenger aircraft are reached. The visualization level of non-dominant Pareto set is improved by effectively reducing the dimension without losing the primary feature of the problem.

文摘The nonlinear dynamic modeling by combining the equivalent linear mechanics with the multi-objective optimization algorithm is proposed to describe the nonlinear behaviors of the joint interfaces. The joint interfaces are simplified as the equivalent virtual material or linear spring damper element. The genetic algorithm for multi-objective optimization is then used to identify the mechanical properties of the equivalent joint by minimizing the error between the simulated dynamic characteristics and the experimental results, including the modal frequencies of the bolted joint beam and the frequency response functions(FRFs)of the rubber isolation system. The FRFs are divided into several subsections with frequency-varied dynamic properties of the joint to consider the nonlinear dynamic behaviors, and the effects of subsection number and excitation amplitudes on the FRFs are also investigated. The results show that the simulated dynamic characteristics of modal frequencies and FRFs agree well with the experimental results. With the increase in the subsection number, the simulated FRFs agree better with the experimental results, indicating a good performance of modeling the nonlinear dynamic behaviors of the joint interfaces forced by different excitation amplitudes.Larger excitation amplitudes will decrease the joint stiffness.

文摘Hydraulic circuits with high speed on/off valve(HSV)for servo control have become commonplace in aerospace. However, the individual valve that is not volume-optimized results in a large total size of hydraulic control system, diminishing the practicality. To address this issue, the high-precision equivalent reluctance model of the HSV is established by employing an equivalent magnetic circuit,on which the dynamic characteristic of the HSV,as well as the effects of structural parameters on switching behaviour, are investigated.Based on this model,multi-objective optimization is adopted to design an HSV with faster dynamic performance and smaller volume,NSGA-II genetic algorithm is applied to obtain the Pareto front of the desired objectives. To assess the impact before and after optimization,an HSV based on the optimized structure is manufactured and tested. The experimental results show that the optimized HSV reduces 47.1%of its solenoid volume while improving opening and closing dynamic performance by 14.8%and 43.0%respectively,increasing maximum switching frequency by 6.2%,and expanding flow linear control area by 6.7%.These results validate the optimized structure and indicate that the optimization method provided in the paper is beneficial for developing superior HSV.

文摘Optimizing convolutional neural networks(CNNs)for IoT attack detection remains a critical yet challenging task due to the need to balance multiple performance metrics beyond mere accuracy. This study proposes a unified and flexible optimization framework that leverages metaheuristic algorithms to automatically optimize CNN configurations for IoT attack detection.Unlike conventional single-objective approaches, the proposed method formulates a global multi-objective fitness function that integrates accuracy, precision, recall, and model size(speed/model complexity penalty)with adjustable weights. This design enables both single-objective and weightedsum multi-objective optimization, allowing adaptive selection of optimal CNN configurations for diverse deployment requirements. Two representativemetaheuristic algorithms,GeneticAlgorithm(GA)and Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),are employed to optimize CNNhyperparameters and structure. At each generation/iteration,the best configuration is selected as themost balanced solution across optimization objectives,i.e.,the one achieving themaximum value of the global objective function.Experimental validation on two benchmark datasets,Edge-IIoT and CIC-IoT2023,demonstrates that the proposed GA-and PSO-based models significantly enhance detection accuracy(94.8%–98.3%)and generalization compared with manually tuned CNN configurations, while maintaining compact architectures. The results confirm that the multi-objective framework effectively balances predictive performance and computational efficiency. This work establishes a generalizable and adaptive optimization strategy for deep learning-based IoT attack detection and provides a foundation for future hybrid metaheuristic extensions in broader IoT security applications.
文摘With the rapid development of intelligent navigation technology, efficient and safe path planning for mobile robots has become a core requirement. To address the challenges of complex dynamic environments, this paper proposes an intelligent path planning framework based on grid map modeling.First,an improved Safe and Smooth A*(SSA*)algorithm is employed for global path planning.By incorporating obstacle expansion and cornerpoint optimization, the proposed SSA*enhances the safety and smoothness of the planned path. Then,a Partitioned Dynamic Window Approach(PDWA)is integrated for local planning, which is triggered when dynamic or sudden static obstacles appear, enabling real-time obstacle avoidance and path adjustment.A unified objective function is constructed, considering path length, safety, and smoothness comprehensively.Multiple simulation experiments are conducted on typical port grid maps. The results demonstrate that the improved SSA*significantly reduces the number of expanded nodes and computation time in static environmentswhile generating smoother and safer paths.Meanwhile, the PDWA exhibits strong real-time performance and robustness in dynamic scenarios, achieving shorter paths and lower planning times compared to other graph search algorithms. The proposedmethodmaintains stable performance across maps of different scales and various port scenarios, verifying its practicality and potential for wider application.
