Because of these advantages, this technique attracts the attention of many researchers. In this paper, a new distortion-free data embedding scheme for high dynamic range (HDR) images is proposed. By depending on Cartesian product, this scheme can obtain higher embedding capacity while maintaining the exactly identical cover image and stego image when using the tone mapping algorithms. In experimental results, the proposed scheme is superior to Yu et aL's scheme in regard to the embedding rate——an average embedding rate of 0.1355 bpp compared with Yn et aL's scheme (0.1270 bpp).展开更多

The dynamic strains of the embedded culvert models and the seismic soil pressure acting on the models due to sinusoidal and random strong motions were investigated. This study verified that the cor-rugated culvert model was subjected to dynamic horizontal forces (lateral seismic soil pressure) from the surrounding ground, which caused the large bending strains on the structure; and that the structures do not exceed the allowable plastic deformation and do not collapse completely during strong earthquake like Hyogoken-nanbu earthquake. The results obtained are useful for design and construction of embedded long span corrugated steel culverts in seismic regions.展开更多

In order to better understand the response characteristics on deeply embedded large cylindrical structures under random waves, and accordingly to offer valuable findings for engineering, the authors designed wave flume experiments to investigate comparatively dynamic wave pressures on a single and on continuous cylinders with two different embedment depths in response to two wave spectra. The time histories of the water surface elevation and the corresponding dynamic wave pressures exerted on the cylinder were analyzed in the frequency domain. By calculating the transfer function and spectral density for dynamic wave pressures along the height and around the circumference of the cylinder, experimental results of the single cylinder were compared with the theoretical results based on the linear diffraction theory, and detailed comparisons were also carried out between the single and continuous cylinders. Some new findings and the corresponding analysis are reported in present paper. The investigation on continuous cylinders will be used in particular for reference in engineering applications because information is scarce on studying such kind of problem both analytically and experimentally.展开更多

This recognition involves understanding short-term and long-term spatial collaborative relationships among support agents and positions from long spatial–temporal trajectories. While the existing methods excel at recognizing collaborative behaviors from short trajectories, they often struggle with long spatial–temporal trajectories. To address this challenge, this paper introduces a dynamic graph method to enhance flight deck operation recognition. First, spatial–temporal collaborative relationships are modeled as a dynamic graph. Second, a discretized and compressed method is proposed to assign values to the states of this dynamic graph. To extract features that represent diverse collaborative relationships among agents and account for the duration of these relationships, a biased random walk is then conducted. Subsequently, the Swin Transformer is employed to comprehend spatial–temporal collaborative relationships, and a fully connected layer is applied to deck operation recognition. Finally, to address the scarcity of real datasets, a simulation pipeline is introduced to generate deck operations in virtual flight deck scenarios. Experimental results on the simulation dataset demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method.展开更多

If PC-based hardware architecture is convenient in this field because of its versatility, flexibility, performance, and cost, current real-time operating systems are not completely adapted to long processing with varying duration, and it is often necessary to oversize the system to guarantee fail-safe functioning. Also, interactions with other robotic tasks having more priority are difficult to handle. To answer this problem, we have developed a dynamically reconfigurable vision processing system, based on the innovative features of Cleopatre real-time applicative layer concerning scheduling and fault tolerance. This framework allows to define emergency and optional tasks to ensure a minimal quality of service for the other subsystems of the robot, while allowing to adapt dynamically vision processing chain to an exceptional overlasting vision process or processor overload. The simulation model is deformed by uniaxial tension or compression in each of [111], [11-2], and [1-10] directions, respectively, before shifting the lattice to calculate the GSF curve. Simulation results show that the values of unstable stacking fault energy(γusf), stable stacking fault energy(γsf), and unstable twin fault energy(γutf) of the three elements can change with the preloaded tensile or compressive stress in different directions. The ratio of γsf/γusf, which is related to the energy barrier for full dislocation nucleation, and the ratio of γutf/γusf, which is related to the energy barrier for twinning formation are plotted each as a function of the preloading stress. The results of this study reveal that the stress state can change the energy barrier of defect nucleation in the crystal lattice, and thereby can play an important role in the deformation mechanism of nanocrystalline material.展开更多

A moving-embedded grid method and an Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS) solver coupled with k-x Shear Stress Transport(SST) turbulence model are established for predicting the complex flowfields of oscillatory airfoil under jet control. Additionally, a velocity boundary condition modeled by sinusoidal function has been developed to fulfill the perturbation effect of periodic jet. The validity of present CFD method is evaluated by comparisons of the calculated results of baseline dynamic stall case for rotor airfoil and jet control case for VR-7 B airfoil with experimental data. Then, parametric analyses are conducted emphatically for an OA212 rotor airfoil to investigate the effects of jet control parameters(jet location, dimensionless frequency, momentum coefficient, jet angle, jet type and dual-jet) on dynamic stall characteristics of rotor airfoil. It is demonstrated by the calculated results that efficiency of jet control could be improved with specific momentum coefficient and jet angle when the jet is located near separation point of rotor airfoil. Furthermore, the dual-jet could improve control efficiency more obviously on dynamic stall of rotor airfoil with respect to the unique jet, and the influence laws of dual-jet's angles and momentum coefficients on control effects are similar to those of the unique jet. Finally, unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of rotor via synthetic jet which is located on the upper surface of rotor blade in forward flight are calculated, and as a result, the aerodynamic characteristics of rotor are improved compared with the baseline. The results indicate that synthetic jet has the capability in improving aerodynamic characteristics of rotor.展开更多

The results show that the coalescence is driven by releasing the atomic energy of the coalesced zone. The deformation, which is induced by substitutional and vacancy diffusion during the coalescence, makes the coalesced cluster disorder. If the summation of the thermal energy and the released atomic energy is large enough to keep the disorder state, the clusters form a metastable liquid droplet; otherwise, the clusters coalesce into a solid cluster when the coalesced cluster reaches the equilibrium state, and the coalesced cluster experiences liquid to solid ordering changes during the coalescence of a solid Au767 with a liquid Ag767 and a liquid Au767 with a liquid Ag767. The centre of figure of the cluster system is shifted during the coalescence process, and higher coalescence temperature causes larger shift degree.展开更多

Intensive work has been done to investigate the mechanisms of the formation of persistent slip bands since the 1950s when Wadsworth[1] observed the fatigue fracture in copper. Simulations have indicated that PSBs formation during fatigue crack initiation is related to the dislocation driving force and interaction. In this paper, a molecular dynamics (MD) simulation associated with embedded atom model (EAM) is applied to the PSBs formation in nickel-base superalloys with different microstructure and temperature under tensile- tensile loadings. Five MD models with different microstructure (pure 5/ phase and γ/γ' phase), grain orientation ([1 0 0][0 1 0][0 0 1] and [1 1 1][1 0 1][1 2 1]) and simulation temperature (300 K, 600 K, 900 K) were built up in these simulations. Our results indicated that within the γ phase by massive dislocations, pile-up and propagation which can penetrate the grain. Also, it is found that the temperature will affect the material fatigue performance and blur PSBs appearance. The simulation results are in strong agreement with published experimental test result. This simulation is based on the work[2]. The highlights of the article include: 1) investigation of the PSB formation via molecular dynamics simulation with three different parameters, 2) conduct of a new deformation and velocity combination controlled simulation for the PSB formation, 3) high-performance computing of PSB formation, and 4) systematic analysis of the PSB formation at the atomic scale in which the dislocation plays a critical role.展开更多

文摘Molecular dynamics(MD) simulations are performed to investigate the effects of stress on generalized stacking fault(GSF) energy of three fcc metals(Cu, Al, and Ni). The results of this study reveal that the stress state can change the energy barrier of defect nucleation in the crystal lattice, and thereby can play an important role in the deformation mechanism of nanocrystalline material.

文摘To understand the atomistic mechanisms of tension failure of Ni-based superalloy,in this study, the classical molecular dynamics(MD)simulations were used to study the uniaxial tension processes of both the Ni/Ni3 Al interface systems and the pure Ni and Ni3 Al systems. To examine the effects of interatomic potentials,we adopted embedded atom method(EAM)and reactive force field(ReaxFF)in the MD simulations. The results of EAM simulations showed that the amorphous structures and voids formed near the interface, facilitating further crack propagation within Ni matrix. The EAM potentials also predicted that dislocations were generated and annihilated alternatively, leading to the oscillation of yielding stress during the tension process. The ReaxFF simulations predicted more amorphous formation and larger tensile strength. The atomistic understanding of the defect initiation and propagation during tension process may help to develop the strengthening strategy for controlling the defect evolution under loading.

文摘The effects of synthetic jet control on unsteady dynamic stall over rotor airfoil are investigated numerically. The results indicate that synthetic jet has the capability in improving aerodynamic characteristics of rotor.

文摘This paper studies the coalescence of heteroclusters Au767 and Ag767 by using molecular dynamics with the embedded atom method, where layer atomic energy is employed to describe the potential energy variation of per atom in different layers along radial direction. The centre of figure of the cluster system is shifted during the coalescence process, and higher coalescence temperature causes larger shift degree.

文摘Persistent slip band (PSB) is an important and typical microstructure generated during fatigue crack initiation. The highlights of the article include: 1) investigation of the PSB formation via molecular dynamics simulation with three different parameters, 2) conduct of a new deformation and velocity combination controlled simulation for the PSB formation, 3) high-performance computing of PSB formation, and 4) systematic analysis of the PSB formation at the atomic scale in which the dislocation plays a critical role.

文摘Power system simulations that extend over a time period of minutes, hours,or even longer are called extendedterm simulations. As power systems evolve into complex systems with increasing interdependencies and richer dynamic behaviors across a wide range of timescales, extendedterm simulation is needed for many power system analysis tasks(e.g.,resilience analysis, renewable energy integration, cascading failures),and there is an urgent need for efficient and robust extendedterm simulation approaches. The conventional approaches are insufficient for dealing with the extendedterm simulation of multitimescale processes. This paper proposes an extendedterm simulation approach based on the semianalytical simulation(SAS)methodology. Its accuracy and computational efficiency are backed by SAS's high accuracy in eventdriven simulation, larger and adaptive time steps, and flexible switching between fulldynamic and quasisteadystate(QSS)models. We used this proposed extendedterm simulation approach to evaluate bulk power system restoration plans, and it demonstrates satisfactory accuracy and efficiency in this complex simulation task.
文摘A dynamically reconfigurable system can change its configuration during operation, and studies of such systems are being carried out in many fields. In particular, medical technology and aerospace engineering must ensure system safety because any defect will have serious consequences. Model checking is a method for verifying system safety. In this paper, we propose the Dynamic Linear Hybrid Automaton (DLHA) specification language and show a method to analyze reachability for a system consisting of several DLHAs.
