This paper investigates the consensus control of multi-agent systems(MASs) with constrained input using the dynamic event-triggered mechanism(ETM).Consider the MASs with small-scale networks where a centralized dynamic ETM with global information of the MASs is first designed. Then,a distributed dynamic ETM which only uses local information is developed for the MASs with large-scale networks. It is shown that the semi-global consensus of the MASs can be achieved by the designed bounded control protocol where the Zeno phenomenon is eliminated by a designable minimum inter-event time.In addition,it is easier to find a trade-off between the convergence rate and the minimum inter-event time by an adjustable parameter.Furthermore, the results are extended to regional consensus of the MASs with the bounded control protocol.Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

This paper introduces a novel fully distributed economic power dispatch(EPD)strategy for distribution networks, integrating dynamic tariffs.A two-layer model is proposed:the first layer comprises the physical power distribution network, including photovoltaic(PV)sources, wind turbine(WT)generators, energy storage systems(ESS),flexible loads(FLs),and other inflexible loads. The upper layer consists of agents dedicated to communication, calculation, and control tasks.Unlike previous EPD strategies, this approach incorporates dynamic tariffs derived from voltage constraints to ensure compliance with nodal voltage constraints.Addi-tionally,a fast distributed optimization algorithm with an event-triggered communication protocol has been developed to address the EPD problem effectively.Through mathematical and simulation analyses, the proposed algorithm's efficiency and rapid conver-gence capability are demonstrated. 展开更多

This paper deals with the co-design problem of event-triggered communication scheduling and platooning control over vehicular ad-hoc networks(VANETs)subject to finite communication resource.First,a unified model is presented to describe the coordinated platoon behavior of leader-follower vehicles in the simultaneous presence of unknown external disturbances and an unknown leader control input.Under such a platoon model, the central aim is to achieve robust platoon formation tracking with desired inter-vehicle spacing and same velocities and accelerations guided by the leader, while attaining improved communication efficiency.Toward this aim,a novel bandwidth-aware dynamic event-triggered scheduling mechanism is developed. One salient feature of the scheduling mechanism is that the threshold parameter in the triggering law is dynamically adjusted over time based on both vehicular state variations and bandwidth status. Then,a sufficient condition for platoon control system stability and performance analysis as well as a co-design criterion of the admissible event-triggered platooning control law and the desired scheduling mechanism are derived. Finally, simulation results are provided to substantiate the effectiveness and merits of the proposed co-design approach for guaranteeing a trade-off between robust platooning control performance and communication efficiency. 展开更多

This paper concerns the decentralized event-based H_(∞)filter design problem for networked dynamic system(NDS).A more practical situation is studied,in which the communication between subsystems is affected by uncertainties and only local sampled measurement output is available for each filter in the developed filter scheme.Firstly,an event-triggered mechanism is introduced for each subsystem to process the sampled output in order to reduce the communication load.Secondly,on the basis of the well-posedness,the augmented filtering error system composed of the original NDS and the filter is modeled as a time-delay system of high dimension. After that,by employing the Lyapunov functional approach and space construction method, novel computationally attractive sufficient conditions are derived to check the well-posedness,asymptotic stability and H_(∞)performance of the augmented filtering error system.Thirdly,a co-design method of the filter and event-trigger matrices is obtained by using Finsler lemma and slack matrix approach. Finally,a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the derived design approach. 展开更多

This paper aims to reduce the communication cost of the distributed learning algorithm for stochastic configuration networks (SCNs), in which information exchange between the learning agents is conducted only at a trigger time. For this purpose, we propose the communication-censored distributed learning algorithm for SCN, namely ADMMM-SCN-ET, by introducing the event-triggered communication mechanism to the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM). To avoid unnecessary information transmissions, each learning agent is equipped with a trigger function. Only if the event-trigger error exceeds a specified threshold and meets the trigger condition, the agent will transmit the variable information to its neighbors and update its state in time. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the communication cost for training decentralized SCNs and save communication resources. 展开更多

The communication network system consists of a transmitter which sends messages to a receiver. The proposed model considers two possibilities. The first one, that messages are successfully received, while in the second one, during the sending process the transmitter breaks down and as a result the message does not reach the receiver. Timed Petrinets is the mathematical and graphical modeling technique utilized. Lyapunov stability theory provides the required tools needed to aboard the stability problem. Employing Lyapunov methods, a sufficient condition for stabilization is obtained. It is shown that it is possible to restrict the communication network system state space in such a way that boundedness is guaranteed. However, this restriction results to be vague. This inconvenience is overcome by considering a specific recurrence equation, in the max-plus algebra, which is assigned to the timed Petri net graphical model. 展开更多

The DSMC modeling is developed to simulate three-dimensional(3D)rarefied ionization flows and numerically forecast the communication blackout around spacecraft during hypervelocity reentry.A new weighting factor scheme for rare species is introduced, whose key point is to modify the corresponding chemical reaction coefficients involving electrons, meanwhile reproduce the rare species in resultants and preserve/delete common species in reactants according to the weighting factors. The resulting DSMC method is highly efficient in simulating weakly inhomogeneous flows including the Couette shear flow and controlling statistical fluctuation with high resolution. The accurate reliability of the present DSMC modeling is also validated by the comparison with a series of experimental measurements of the Shenzhou reentry capsule tested in a low-density wind tunnel from the HAI of CARDC.The obtained electron number density distribution for the RAM-C II vehicle agrees well with the flight experiment data, while the electron density contours for the Stardust hypervelocity reentry match the reference data completely. In addition, the present 3D DSMC algorithm can capture distribution of the electron,N+and O+number densities better than the axis-symmetric DSMC model. The introduction of rare species weighting factor scheme can significantly improve the smoothness of the number density contours of rare species, especially for that of electron in weak ionization case, while it has negligible effect on the macroscopic flow parameters. The ionization characteristics of the Chinese lunar capsule reentry process are numerically analyzed and forecasted in the rarefied transitional flow regime at the flying altitudes between 80 and 97 km,and the simulations predict communication blackout altitudes which are in good agreement with the actual reentry flight data. For the spacecraft reentry with hypervelocity larger than the second cosmic speed,it is forecasted and verified by the present DSMC modeling that ionization reactions will cover the windward capsule surface, leading to reentry communication blackout, and the communication interruption must be considered in the communication design during reentry in rarefied flow regimes. 展开更多
