Allan variance(AV)stochastic process identification method for inertial sensors has successfully combined the wavelet transform denoising scheme.However,the latter usually employs a traditional hard threshold or soft threshold that presents some mathematical problems.An adaptive dual threshold for discrete wavelet transform(DWT)denoising function overcomes the disadvantages of traditional approaches.Assume that two thresholds for noise and signal and special fuzzy evaluation function for the signal with range between the two thresholds assure continuity and overcome previous difficulties.On the basis of AV,an application for strap-down inertial navigation system(SINS)stochastic model extraction assures more efficient tuning of the augmented 21-state improved exact modeling Kalman filter(IEMKF)states.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior in denoising performance.Furthermore,the improved filter estimation of navigation solution is better than that of conventional Kalman filter(CKF). 展开更多

Dual Adaptive Turbo Coded Modulation for Integrated Multimedia Service Transmission

This paper proposes a cross-layer dual adaptive coded modulation architecture using turbo codes for mobile multimedia communication, which adapts to both the varying channel characteristics and the QoS of various multimedia services simultancously to increase the average system throughput substantially. A pragmatic channeladaptive turbo coded modulation schcme, which comes within 2.5 dB of the Shannon limit, is optimally designed, and then a QoS-adaptive scheme is superimposed to build the dual adaptive architecture. Simulation results show that the novel dual adaption reduces the gap from the fading channel capacity to 2 dB when assuming different services occur in equal probability and the service duration follows exponential distribution. 展开更多

Millimeter-wave radar,with advantages such as non-contact penetration detection and privacy protection,has become a promising solution for unobtrusive monitoring in the field of smart elderly care.To solve the problem of whether there are human body in the elderly care scene,this study proposed a method for judging the presence of a human body based on adaptive dual thresholds to reduce invalid vital sign detection in an empty environment.This method used a low-frequency energy ratio as the core judgment basis.It combined adaptive thresholds to accurately judge the presence of human targets,effectively reducing false detections caused by background interference.In addition,given the defect that variational mode extraction(VME)needs to rely on manual parameter adjustment based on empirical values,the crown porcupine optimization(CPO)algorithm is introduced to optimize the VME parameters adaptively,and the optimized VME is used to reconstruct the heartbeat signal to improve the signal purity.Then,the multiple signal classification(MUSIC)algorithm was used for spectrum analysis to improve the accuracy of heart rate estimation.The results show that in the experimental judgment of personnel,the miss rate in the case of personnel presence is 2.2%,and the false alarm rate in the case of no personnel is only 3.2%;the root mean square error and mean absolute error of the proposed heart rate(HR)estimation method are reduced by 4.4 beat per minute and 3.05 beat per minute respectively compared with the traditional VME,verifying its excellence. 展开更多
