Effective separation of bulk phase and surface charges is crucial for maximizing charge utilization in the process of photocatalytic energy conversion.In this study,SnS_(2) nanoflowers and twinned Mn_(0.5) Cd_(0.5) S solid solution(T-MCS)nanoparticles were fabricated by a one-step solvothermal method respectively,fol-lowed by the formation of SnS_(2)/T-MCS nanohybrids through a facile physical solvent evaporation process for high-efficiency photocatalytic hydrogen(H_(2))production.The T-MCS crystal structure consists of alter-nating wurtzite Mn_(0.5) Cd_(0.5) S(WZ-MCS)and zinc blende Mn_(0.5) Cd_(0.5) S(ZB-MCS),forming a twin structure within the semiconductor.The charge migration mechanism between WZ-MCS and ZB-MCS follows the S-scheme pathway owing to slight differences in energy levels within their respective crystal structures,resulting in exceptional bulk phase charge separation capacity of T-MCS.Additionally,SnS_(2) enhances the electrochemical performance of the catalysts by providing more active sites,reducing charge transfer re-sistance and H_(2) production overpotential,thereby facilitating faster reaction kinetics.The photoelectro-chemical tests,radical trapping experiments,density functional theory(DFT),and electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy(EPR)confirm that the charge transfer path between SnS_(2) and T-MCS follows an S-type route that accelerates interfacial photo-induced electrons and holes separation while preserving useful charges.The synergistic impact of twinned homojunction and S-type heterojunction in 10 wt.%SnS_(2)/T-MCS composite contributes to a remarkable H_(2) production rate of 182.82 mmol h^(-1) g^(-1),which is 761.8 times higher than that achieved with SnS_(2) alone(0.24 mmol h^(-1) g^(-1)),as well as 5.8 times higher than that achieved with T-MCS alone(31.54 mmol h^(-1) g^(-1)).This study offers novel insights into design-ing highly efficient sulfide photocatalysts specifically targeting solar-driven H_(2) evolution through a dual S-scheme transfer pathway. 展开更多

Novel graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))nanosheet/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/NH_(2)-MIL-88B(Fe)photocatalysts(denoted as GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/FeMOF,in which MOF is metal–organic framework)with double S-scheme heterojunctions were synthesized by a facile solvothermal route.The resultant materials were examined by X-ray photoelectron spectrometer(XPS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),photoluminescence spectroscopy(PL),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy(UV-vis DRS),photocurrent density,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)analyses.After the integration of Fe-MOF with GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br,the removal constant of tetracycline over the optimal GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/Fe-MOF(15wt%)nanocomposite was promoted 33 times compared with that of the pristine GCN.The GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/Fe-MOF(15wt%)nanocomposite showed superior photoactivity to azithromycin,metronidazole,and cephalexin removal that was 36.4,20.2,and 14.6 times higher than that of pure GCN,respectively.Radical quenching tests showed that·O_(2)-and h+mainly contributed to the elimination reaction.In addition,the nanocomposite maintained excellent activity after 4 successive cycles.Based on the developed n–n heterojunctions among n-GCN-NSh,n-Bi_(5)O_(7)Br,and n-Fe-MOF semiconductors,the double S-scheme charge transfer mechanism was proposed for the destruction of the selected antibiotics. 展开更多

Multi-channel photogenerated charge transfer in double S-scheme for promoting photostability and mineralization of pollutants

Superior photo-mineralization of pollutants,outstanding charge separation efficiency and exceptional photostability of catalysts constitute three pivotal factors for the effective photodegradation of organic pollutants.In this study,a dual S-scheme In2 O3/Pedot/In2 S3(IO/Pedot/IS),inspired by natural photosyn-thesis,was successfully synthesized for the degradation of lignin and antibiotics.The resulting exceptional semiconductor contact creates a dual-interface electric field on Pedot,facilitating multi-channel charge transport and enhancing charge separation efficiency.The establishment of the dual S-scheme hetero-junction raised the reduction-oxidation potential of the type-II In2 O3/In2 S3.When subjected to 5 W LED irradiation for 60 min,IO/Pedot-2/IS demonstrated a remarkable mineralization rate of 85.8%for sodium lignosulfonate(SL),surpassing the 53.7%mineralization rate achieved by IO/IS.Furthermore,the degra-dation efficiency for tetracycline(TC)and ciprofloxacin(CIP)reached 91%and 88%,respectively.Crucially,the hole(h+)conductivity of Pedot efficiently alleviated the photocorrosion of sulfide,ensuring robust cyclic stability.Experimental simulations of natural photocatalysis showcased the exceptional versatility and applicability of IO/Pedot/IS.In-depth analysis led to the proposal of a potential photodegradation pathway for lignin,based on the intermediates detected through liquid chromatography-mass spectrom-etry(LC-MS).Overall,this study presents an effective strategy for the efficient photocatalytic treatment of organic pollutants. 展开更多

The photocatalytic performance can be significantly improved by constructing suitable heterojunction photocatalysts.It is well known that graphdiyne possesses a unique conjugated carbon network nanostructure,which gives it ample active sites on its surface and facilitates the reduction of protons.In this study,a unique new double S-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst was constructed by simple self-assembly of GDY prepared via organic synthesis methods and ZnAl-LDH.According to the study,an internal electric field controlling the transfer direction of the electron hole is formed between the interface of CuI-GDY and ZnAl-LDH,which broadens the light absorption range of the catalyst and improves the redox ability of the photocatalytic system.CuI-GDY and ZnAl-LDH are tightly bound together,which helps to separate the photogenerated carriers while preserving the strong reduction electrons in the GDY conduction band and the strong oxidation holes in the ZnAl-LDH valence band so that they can fully participate in the redox reaction.The charge-transfer paths on the S-scheme heterojunction interface were analyzed by in situ irradiation XPS.This work provides an effective strategy for the construction of double S-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts. 展开更多

The electric double layer(EDL)at the electrochemical interface is crucial for ion transport,charge transfer,and surface reactions in aqueous rechargeable zinc batteries(ARZBs).However,Zn anodes routinely encounter persistent dendrite growth and parasitic reactions,driven by the inhomogeneous charge distribution and water-dominated environment within the EDL.Compounding this,classical EDL theory,rooted in meanfield approximations,further fails to resolve molecular-scale interfacial dynamics under battery-operating conditions,limiting mechanistic insights.Herein,we established a multiscale theoretical calculation framework from single molecular characteristics to interfacial ion distribution,revealing the EDL’s structure and interactions between different ions and molecules,which helps us understand the parasitic processes in depth.Simulations demonstrate that water dipole and sulfate ion adsorption at the inner Helmholtz plane drives severe hydrogen evolution and by-product formation.Guided by these insights,we engineered a“water-poor and anion-expelled”EDL using 4,1’,6’-trichlorogalactosucrose(TGS)as an electrolyte additive.As a result,Zn||Zn symmetric cells with TGS exhibited stable cycling for over 4700 h under a current density of 1 mA cm^(−2),while NaV_(3)O_(8)·1.5H_(2)O-based full cells kept 90.4%of the initial specific capacity after 800 cycles at 5 A g^(−1).This work highlights the power of multiscale theoretical frameworks to unravel EDL complexities and guide high-performance ARZB design through integrated theory-experiment approaches. 展开更多

Wing design is a critical factor in the aerodynamic performance of flapping-wing(FW)robots.Inspired by the natural wing structures of insects,bats,and birds,we explored how bio-mimetic wing vein morphologies,combined with a bio-inspired double wing clap-and-fling mechanism,affect thrust generation.This study focused on increasing vertical force and payload capacity.Through systematic experimentation with various vein configurations and structural designs,we developed innovative wings optimized for thrust production.Comprehensive tests were conducted to measure aerodynamic forces,power consumption,and wing kinematics across a range of flapping frequencies.Additionally,wings with different aspect ratios,a key factor in wing design,were fabricated and extensively evaluated.The study also examined the role of bio-inspired vein layouts on wing flexibility,a critical component in improving flight efficiency.Our findings demonstrate that the newly developed wing design led to a 20%increase in thrust,achieving up to 30 g-force(gf).This research sheds light on the clap-and-fling effect and establishes a promising framework for bio-inspired wing design,offering significant improvements in both performance and payload capacity for FW robots. 展开更多

Vibrations induced by time-delayed double blastholes in underground rocks:Experimental study and theoretical analysis

Time-delayed blasting is widely utilized in engineering to mitigate induced vibration hazards and enhance fragmentation.The underlying vibration reduction principle is the decrease of the charge weight per delay,while the potential for further vibration reduction remains debated,largely due to unclear underlying mechanisms.In light of the popularization of electronic detonators and the representativeness of double-hole configurationsfor multiple blastholes,it is essential to investigate the vibration characteristics induced by time-delayed double blastholes.Therefore,a series of doubleborehole experimental blasts was conducted in an underground roadway to clarify the variation in vibration from single-hole to dual-hole conditions.Based on the experimental data and inherent limitations,an exact full-fieldtheoretical model was further employed to systematically analyze the effects of delay time,charge length,and borehole inclination angle on vibrations induced by various doublehole configurations.The experimental data and theoretical analysis reveal that the general scaled distance effectively predicts vibrations in delayed blasting but does not reflectvibration reduction.Increasing delay time causes fluctuatingPPVs,which stabilize slightly above single-hole PPVs as delay times exceed a certain value.The delayed blasting primarily reduces near-fieldfrequencies.Longer charge lengths in double boreholes increase PPV levels and attenuation rates within a certain length,and the vibration behavior of combined long and short charge lengths is governed by the long blasthole.Larger blasthole inclination angles enhance vibration amplitude and reduce PPV attenuation rates.Optimizing inclination angles is more critical than adjusting delay times,and parallel boreholes offer the best vibration control. 展开更多

The present study investigates the flow,heat,and mass transfer analysis in the bioconvection of nanofluid containing motile gyrotactic microorganisms through a semi-porous curved oscillatory channel with a magnetic field.These microorganisms produce density gradients by swimming,which induces macroscopic convection flows in the fluid.This procedure improves the mass and heat transfer,illustrating the interaction between biological activity and fluid dynamics.Furthermore,instead of considering traditional Fourier's and Fick's law the energy and concentration equations are developed by incorporating Cattaneo-Christov double diffusion theory.Moreover,to examine the influence of thermophoresis and Brownian diffusions in the fluid we have adopted the Buongiorno nanofluid model.Due to the oscillation of the surface of the channel,the mathematical development of the considered flow problem is obtained in the form of partial differential equations via the curvilinear coordinate system.The convergent series solution of the governing flow equations is obtained after applying the homotopy analysis method(HAM).The effects of different pertinent flow parameters on velocity,motile microorganism density distribution,concentration,pressure,temperature,and skin friction coefficient are examined and discussed in detail with the help of graphs and tables.It is observed during the current study that the density of microorganisms is enhanced for higher values of Reynolds number,Peclet number,radius of curvature variable,and Lewis number. 展开更多

Soft X-ray detectors play a vital role in materials science,high-energy physics and medical imaging.Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6),a lead-free double perovskite,has gained attention for its excellent optoelectronic properties,stability,and nontoxicity.However,its fast crystallization and requirement for high-temperature annealing(>250℃)often lead to inferior film quality,limiting its application in flexible devices.This study introduces an alloying strategy that significantly improves the quality of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)thin films annealed at a reduced temperature of 150℃.Devices based on the alloyed thin films exhibit an ultra-low dark current of 0.32 nA·cm^(-2)and a quantum efficiency of 725%.Furthermore,the first successful integration of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)with a thinfilm transistor backplane demonstrates its superior imaging performance,indicating that Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)is a promising material for next-generation soft X-ray sensors. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of double-puncture tympanic membrane puncture and tympanic cavity drug injection in patients with acute secretory otitis media.Methods:A total of 84 patients with acute secretory otitis media admitted to our hospital from June 2024 to June 2025 were selected and randomly divided into two groups by drawing lots.The control group(42 cases)was treated with the traditional single-puncture tympanic membrane puncture and tympanic cavity drug injection method,while the observation group(42 cases)was treated with the double-puncture tympanic membrane puncture and tympanic cavity drug injection method.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results:The overall treatment response rate,overall complication rate,time to symptom relief,and improvement in hearing threshold in the observation group were all superior to those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:For acute secretory otitis media,the treatment method of double-puncture tympanic membrane puncture and tympanic cavity drug injection demonstrates definite efficacy,significantly reducing the incidence of complications,accelerating symptom relief,and improving hearing function,making it worthy of promotion. 展开更多

Co_(3)S_(4)electrocatalysts with mixed valences of Co ions and excellent structural stability possess favorable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity,yet challenges remain in fabricating rechargeable lithiumoxygen batteries(LOBs)due to their poor OER performance,resulting from poor electrical conductivity and overly strong intermediate adsorption.In this work,fancy double heterojunctions on 1T/2H-MoS_(2)@Co_(3)S_(4)(1T/2H-MCS)were constructed derived from the charge donation from Co to Mo ions,thus inducing the phase transformation of Mo S_(2)from 2H to 1T.The unique features of these double heterojunctions endow the1T/2H-MCS with complementary catalysis during charging and discharging processes.It is worth noting that 1T-Mo S2@Co3S4could provide fast Co-S-Mo electron transport channels to promote ORR/OER kinetics,and 2H-MoS_(2)@Co_(3)S_(4)contributed to enabling moderate egorbital occupancy when adsorbed with oxygen-containing intermediates.On the basis,the Li_(2)O_(2)nucleation route was changed to solution and surface dual pathways,improving reversible deposition and decomposition kinetics.As a result,1T/2H-MCS cathodes exhibit an improved electrocatalytic performance compared with those of Co_(3)S_(4)and Mo S2cathodes.This innovative heterostructure design provides a reliable strategy to construct efficient transition metal sulfide catalysts by improving electrical conductivity and modulating adsorption toward oxygenated intermediates for LOBs. 展开更多

Double-vacancy-induced polarization and intensified built-in electric field in S-Scheme heterojunction for removal of antibiotics and Cr (VI)

Antibiotics and heavy metals usually co-exist in wastewater and pose serious environmental hazards.Herein,a series of VMo-BMO/O_(v)-BOB S-scheme heterojunctions with double vacancy(Mo vacancy and photoexcited O vacancy)were constructed via an electrostatic assembly method.The removal efficiency of Cr(VI)and tetracycline(TC)over VMo-BMO/O_(v)-BOB-0.3 was 2.47 and 1.13 times than that of a single system,respectively.In-situ EPR demonstrated that the surface O vacancies could be generated under LED light irradiation.These photoexcited O vacancies(P-O_(v))enabled VMo-BMO/O_(v)-BOB composites still exhibit satisfactory activity after five successive cycles and an amplified Fermi level gap.The enhancement could be attributed to the enhanced internal electric field and double-vacancy-induced polarization.Additionally,the density functional theory calculation results suggested that double vacancy induced polarization electric field increases the dipole moment,which was conducive to rapid electron transport.Photoluminescence and time-resolved photoluminescence analysis demonstrated that the introduction of S-scheme heterojunction and double vacancy promoted charge transfer and prolonged the lifetime of carriers.Degradation intermediates and toxicity of products were evaluated.In conclusion,a possible mechanism based on VMo-BMO/O_(v)-BOB S-scheme heterojunction in the simultaneous removal of Cr(VI)and TC was proposed. 展开更多

Abiotic oxygen formation predates photosynthesis,sustaining early chemical evolution,yet its elementary mechanisms remain contested.Here,we show the production pathways for molecular oxygen from doubly ionized carbon dioxide upon electron-impact.Through fragment ions and electron coincidence momentum imaging,we unambiguously determine the ionization mechanism by measuring the projectile energy loss in association with the C^(+) +O_(2)^(+) channel.Further potential energy and trajectory calculations enable us to elucidate the dynamical details of this fragmentation process,in which a bond rearrangement pathway is found to proceed via the structural deformation to a triangular intermediate.Moreover,we demonstrate a further roaming pathway for the formation of O_(2)^(+) from CO_(2)^(+) 2,in which a frustrated C-O bond cleavage leaves the O atom without sufficient energy to escape.The O atom then wanders around varied configuration spaces of the flat potential energy regions and forms a C-O-O_(2)^(+) intermediate prior to the final products C^(+) +O_(2)^(+).Considering the large quantities of free electrons in interstellar space,the processes revealed here are expected to be significant and should be incorporated into atmospheric evolution models. 展开更多

碳纤维增强树脂基复合材料已经成为航空、航天等领域的重要工程材料。然而,传统复合材料的铺层设计效率低、丢层设计复杂,导致复合材料构件存在一定的设计强度冗余和结构超重。Double-Double作为一种全新的复合材料铺层方法,具有铺层设... 碳纤维增强树脂基复合材料已经成为航空、航天等领域的重要工程材料。然而,传统复合材料的铺层设计效率低、丢层设计复杂,导致复合材料构件存在一定的设计强度冗余和结构超重。Double-Double作为一种全新的复合材料铺层方法,具有铺层设计简单且丢层减重便捷的优点,已成为铺层设计发展的趋势。本文结合Double-Double铺层方法、ABAQUS参数化建模和应变能理论,对复合材料C型梁进行了减重优化设计,建立的有限元分析模型可有效地显示C型梁的弯曲受力状态。结合有限元分析和试验结果,表明Double-Double构件能够有效替代传统铺层构件,在铺层数目一致时Double-Double铺层C型梁的弯曲刚度和极限载荷分别提高了9.28%和12.34%;针对两个优化后的变厚度Double-Double铺层C型梁,其弯曲刚度和强度不仅未减小,整体质量还分别减少了12.5%和17.5%,实现了减重优化目标。 展开更多

针对分布式柔性作业车间中存在的资源分配不均和调度稳定性不足问题,构建以最小化最大完工时间、机器总能耗和偏离度为目标的逆调度数学模型,提出一种基于Double Q-Learning的改进多目标蝗虫优化算法(DQIGOA)。针对该问题设计一种混合... 针对分布式柔性作业车间中存在的资源分配不均和调度稳定性不足问题,构建以最小化最大完工时间、机器总能耗和偏离度为目标的逆调度数学模型,提出一种基于Double Q-Learning的改进多目标蝗虫优化算法(DQIGOA)。针对该问题设计一种混合三层编码方式;提出一种基于逆调度特点的种群初始化方式以提高种群质量;引入权重平衡因子来提高非支配解存档中解集的多样性;将强化学习中的Double Q-Learning机制融入非支配解的选择过程,通过动态动作策略优化目标解的选取,提升调度方案的全局搜索能力与局部优化效率。最后构建26组算例,通过策略有效性分析证明了所提策略可显著提升DQIGOA算法的性能,并通过与NSGA-II、DE和SPEA-II算法进行对比证明DQIGOA算法的有效性。结果表明:相比NSGA-II、DE和SPEA-II算法,DQIGOA算法在HV、IGD、SP指标上均有优势,证明了DQIGOA能够有效提升解的收敛速度和多样性分布,在动态扰动条件下表现出更强的鲁棒性。 展开更多

Lanthanide ions(Ln^(3+))doping provides a potential strategy to control over the luminescent properties of lead-free halide double perovskite nanocrystals(DP NCs).However,due to the low energy transfer efficiency between self-trapped exciton(STE)and Ln^(3+)ions,the characteristic emissions of Ln^(3+)ions are not prominent.Furthermore,the energy transfer mechanism between STE and Ln^(3+)ions is also elusive and requires in-depth study.We chose trace Bi^(3+)-doped Cs_(2)Ag_(0.6)Na_(0.4)InCl_(6-x)Br_(x) as a representative DP matrix to demonstrate that by tuning the bromide concentration,the Ln^(3+)emission can be greatly enhanced.Such enhanced STE and Ln^(3+)ions energy transfer originates from the high covalency of Ln-Br bond,which contributes to improve ment of the characteristic emission of Ln^(3+)ions.Furthermo re,optical spectroscopy reveals that the energy transfer mechanism from DP to Eu^(3+)ions is different from all the other doped Ln^(3+)ions.The energy transfer from DP to Eu^(3+)ions is mostly through Eu-Br charge transfer while the other Ln^(3+)ions are excited by energy transfer from STE.The distinct energy transfer mechanism has resulted from the energy separation between the excited energy level of Ln^(3+)ions and the bottom of conduction band of DP.With increasing the energy separation,the energy transfer from STE to Ln^(3+)ions is less efficient because of the generation of a larger number of phonons and finally becomes impossible for Eu^(3+)ions.Our results provide new insight into tuning the energy transfer of Ln^(3+)-doped DP NCs. 展开更多
