Failure mechanisms of power transformers are complex and uncertain; it is difficult to determine index weights of insulation state. Therefore, it is a challenge to acquire an accurate assessment of insulation state of power transformers. In this paper, an assessing strategy for transformer insulation is proposed base on part-division of transformer and a comprehensive weight determination method. An index system of transformer is established on the basis of part-division of transformer. Each index’s weight is consisted of two parts, the constant weight and the variable weight, which are determined by improved analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy method respectively. Af- ter categorizing insulation state into four levels and standardizing assessing indexes, a Cauchy membership function is forged, and a fuzzy algorithm is employed to simulate the uncertainty of the insulation state. Finally, a confidence criterion is employed to perform part-division based condition assessment of transformer. Case studies reveal that the proposed assessing strategy method is effective, convenient, and practical; with the new strategy, potential failures of transformers can be forecasted and insulation state of transformer parts can also be as- sessed. Furthermore, the assessing results can be used to guide condition-based maintenance. 展开更多

Based on the wave characteristics of wind power, this paper indicates that wind energy has continuous output characteristics on the hour-time scale. Through analysis on loads characteristic of industry, public facility and resident, this paper gets comprehensive response of load side resources. Considering characteristics of wind power output, combined with different load side resources and DR program, this paper suggests cooperation between wind power and load side resources on different time scales. 展开更多

The development of a high performance wideband radio frequency (RF) transceiver used in the next generation mobile communication system is presented. The developed RF transceiver operates in the 6 to 6.3 GHz band and the channel bandwidth is up to 100 MHz. It operates in the time division duplex (TDD) mode and supports the multiple-input multipleoutput (MIMO) technique for the international mobile telecommunications (IMT)-advanced systems. The classical superheterodyne scheme is employed to achieve optimal performance. Design issues of the essential components such as low noise amplifier, power amplifier and local oscillators are described in detail. Measurement results show that the maximum linear output power of the RF transceiver is above 23 dBm, and the gain and noise figure of the low noise amplifier is around 24 dB and below 1 dB, respectively. Furthermore, the error vector magnitude (EVM) measurement shows that the performance of the developed RF transceiver is well beyond the requirements of the long term evolution (LTE)-advanced system. With up to 8 x 8 MIMO configuration, the RF transceiver supports more than a 1 Gbit/s data rate in field tests. 展开更多

At present, mud pulse transmission systems are widely used in downhole data transmission. But the systems are very low in transmission efficiency, only 5-10 bits/s, with very large anti-inter-symbol-interference (ISI). It cannot meet high requirements for high-speed transmission of modern logging system. The development of communication technology has laid some foundation for this requirement. For this purpose, the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) Wireless Downhole Transmission Systems are proposed for the first time because of their high transmission rate, anti-inter-symbol-interference (ISI), and high spectral efficiency, etc. Due to non-linear power amplifier (PA) of logging systems with limited dynamic range, the drawbacks of high peak-average power ratio (PAPR) may outweigh all the potential benefits of OFDM wireless downhole transmission systems. Selective mapping (SLM) method can reduce the PAPR of OFDM logging signals without distortion. But at the receiver, the conventional SLM method needs exact bits of side information (SI) to recover the data signal. The probability of erroneous SI detection has a significant influence on the error performance of the system. And individual transmissions of SI result in the reduction of bandwidth efficiency. To restore the exact data signal, our scheme codes the SI bits by linear block codes (LBC), and is easily decoded by syndrome decoding. And then the coding SI bits are superimposed onto the logging signals to omit SI bits transmission. The theory and simulation results show that the proposed method has better performance than the conventional one. Accordingly, the OFDM wireless downhole transmission systems can tackle the high PAPR problem, and highten the transmission rate of logging signals. 展开更多

Based on the two-stage Stackelberg game method, value creation of supply chain cooperation between coal enterprise and power utilities is studied by formulating profit functions of coal and power enterprises and calculating the maximum profit. According to the analysis, it is found that the profit from supply chain cooperation between coal and power enterprises is more than that of non- cooperation. The cooperation is validated to be beneficial for both units; however, the profit is mainly taken by the power enterprise. Thus, it is necessary to set up the incentive mechanism to distribute cooperation value between coal and power enterprises to promote their continual cooperation. 展开更多

In the era of Internet of Things(Io T),mobile edge computing(MEC)and wireless power transfer(WPT)provide a prominent solution for computation-intensive applications to enhance computation capability and achieve sustainable energy supply.A wireless-powered mobile edge computing(WPMEC)system consisting of a hybrid access point(HAP)combined with MEC servers and many users is considered in this paper.In particular,a novel multiuser cooperation scheme based on orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA)is provided to improve the computation performance,where users can split the computation tasks into various parts for local computing,offloading to corresponding helper,and HAP for remote execution respectively with the aid of helper.Specifically,we aim at maximizing the weighted sum computation rate(WSCR)by optimizing time assignment,computation-task allocation,and transmission power at the same time while keeping energy neutrality in mind.We transform the original non-convex optimization problem to a convex optimization problem and then obtain a semi-closed form expression of the optimal solution by considering the convex optimization techniques.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed multi-user cooperationassisted WPMEC scheme greatly improves the WSCR of all users than the existing schemes.In addition,OFDMA protocol increases the fairness and decreases delay among the users when compared to TDMA protocol. 展开更多

Mobile WiMAX(worldwide interoperability for microwave access) air interface adopts orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA) as multiple access technique for its uplink(UL) and downlink(DL) to improve the multipath performance.All OFDMA based networks,like mobile WiMAX,experience the problem of high peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR).The high PAPR increases the complexity of analog-to-digital(A/D) and digital-to-analog(D/A) convertors,and also reduces the efficiency of RF high-power-amplifier(HPA).In this work,a new zadoff-chu matrix transform(ZCMT) precoding based random interleaved orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA) system was proposed for PAPR reduction in mobile WiMAX system.The system is based on precoding the constellation symbols with the ZCMT precoder before subcarrier mapping.The PAPR of proposed system is analyzed with the root-raised-cosine(RRC) pulse shaping to keep out of band radiation low and meet the transmission spectrum mask requirement.Simulation results show that the proposed system has better PAPR gain than the hadamard transform(WHT) precoded random interleaved OFDMA systems and the conventional random interleaved OFDMA systems.Symbol-error-rate(SER) performance of the system is also better than the conventional random interleaved OFDMA systems and the random interleaved OFDMA systems with WHT.The good improvement in PAPR significantly reduces the cost and the complexity of the transmitter. 展开更多

信道特征是影响电力线通信质量的关键因素,电力线信道特征的准确获取,需要现场采集实际的通信信号。为了实现电力线通信信号的现场采集与存储,文章提出了一种低压电力线信道正交频分复用(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,OF... 信道特征是影响电力线通信质量的关键因素,电力线信道特征的准确获取,需要现场采集实际的通信信号。为了实现电力线通信信号的现场采集与存储,文章提出了一种低压电力线信道正交频分复用(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,OFDM)幅频特性采集系统实现方法。基于现场可编程门阵列(field-programmable gate array,FPGA)实现OFDM信号的产生,可以灵活设置时钟频率兼容不同的通信带宽;可以灵活选择可用子载波数量以及子载波的开启和关闭。发送定值OFDM信号,无需实现调制解调功能,降低了设计难度。采用模拟带通滤波器代替宽带数字滤波器,降低了FPGA逻辑资源的使用,节省了设计成本。耦合器在实现隔离50 Hz工频信号基本功能基础上,增加了保护电路。搭建了220 V低压电力线测试平台,验证了该方法的可行性。 展开更多

The first one is an accurate computation method for small N, in which the peak of the Instantaneous Envelope Power Function (IEPF) is obtained by solving the roots of a polynomial, a linear sum of a set of Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind and the second kind. The second procedure, called Stepwise Refinement Algorithm (SRA), is a highly precise and fast computation method for arbitrary N by using Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT), the Chirp Z-Transform (CZT) and a newly introduced relationship between the IEPF peak and its most adjacent oversampled sample. 展开更多

In this paper, we develop an auction-based power allocation mechanism for network-coded cooperation in wireless networks, in which the sources compete for the relay power for maximum utility, while the relay node assigns the resource in accordance with the bids from the sources. Moreover, to improve the resource utilization, the relay node is allowed to perform network coding across the received information for the same destination. Finally, numerical results validate the performance of the proposed algorithm, and show that there exists a tradeoff between the system outage probability and the power consumed at the relay node. 展开更多

This paper proposes a bargaining game theoretic resource(including the subcarrier and the power) allocation scheme for wireless orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA) networks.We define a wireless user s payoff as a function of the achieved data-rate.The fairness resource allocation problem can then be modeled as a cooperative bargaining game.The objective of the game is to maximize the aggregate payoffs for the users.To search for the Nash bargaining solution(NBS) of the game,a suboptimal subcarrier allocation is performed by assuming an equal power allocation.Thereafter,an optimal power allocation is performed to maximize the sum payoff for the users.By comparing with the max-rate and the max-min algorithms,simulation results show that the proposed game could achieve a good tradeoff between the user fairness and the overall system performance. 展开更多

Network Coding (NC) is an effective technology to enhance the cooperative system spectral efficiency. However, since it is network-oriented, the existing performance metric of single-user outage can not comprehensively evaluate its gain and the impact to the entire network, which affect the user fairness. This paper proposes two novel user fair-based adaptive relay power allocation algorithms in single-relay NC cooperative multiple access channels. Firstly, common outage probability is employed as the performance metric, and to minimize it, a specific condition is deduced. On this basis, the instantaneous channel information-based adaptive relay power allocation scheme and the channel statistic information-based one with lower complexity are designed respectively, which make users' signals superimposed at accurately calculated proportion to maintain fairness. Simulation results show that compared with other existing schemes, the proposed schemes can best maintain user fairness, and effectively improve the common outage performance of the whole system, at the expense of small spectral efficiency. 展开更多

A novel cooperative injection and suction jet was employed in this work to improve the power extraction characteristics of a semi-active flapping airfoil(S-AFA).The combined Taguchi method and numerical simulations was used to optimize the characteristic parameters of the cooperative injection and suction jet that affect the power extraction characteristics of the S-AFA.Under the Reynolds number of 6×10^(4)and the pitching axis location at the center of the ellipse airfoil,the effects of jet position,jet width,jet coefficient as well as phase difference between the cooperative injection and suction jet and the active pitching motion on the power extraction characteristics of the S-AFA are systematically examined.It is concluded that the power extraction characteristics of the S-AFA can be enhanced by employing cooperative injection and suction jet.Compared to the S-AFA without jet,the maximum efficiency is increased 11.06%for the S-AFA with optimized cooperative injection and suction jet.The flow structure behavior analysis shows that the vortex strength,the low pressure range in the suction surface of the airfoil as well as the pressure value in the pressure surface of the airfoil are increased due to the cooperative injection and suction jet,and it is why the power extraction characteristics of S-AFA can be improved. 展开更多
