A consensus-based distributed control method of coordinated VSGs with communication time delays in isolate microgrid is proposed. When time delays are considered in communication, there are some effects on frequency restoration and active power output allocation. In the control structure, only local information exchange is needed, while the final frequency can be controlled to the nominal value and the VSGs can automatically share loads according to their rated values. An AC microgrid with three VSGs and some loads is implemented. The proposed control strategy is verified by MATLAB/ Simulink simulation results. 展开更多

With the increase of bridge reconstruction schemes, synchronous lifting of a bridge is more and more widely used. In order to solve the problems associated with the synchronoas lifting of a bridge, a multi-cylinder synchronous lifting power and monitoring system has been developed. This is a distributed control system, which is com- posed of an industrial computer workstation, a programmable logical controller and a hydraulic control system. The system can achieve distributed control and centralized operation of actuators, and centralized management of infor- mation. It not only can implement multi-cylinder synchronous lifting with an unbalanced load, but also can moni- tor the pressure, displacement and stress at each lifting point. The performance of the multi-cylinder synchronous system is verified through its application to several bridge lifting engineering projects. The details of such a project are given. 展开更多

This requires the stable velocities and velocity ratios of large number rollers separated throughout the workshop. To this goal,a distributed cooperative controller is designed to coordinate the velocities of the rollers to the desired values as well as the target ratios between the upper and lower rollers. During the whole evolution,only the neighbor rollers can exchange the working information,and neither global information nor central controller is required. It is proven that all the rollers asymptotically achieve the desired velocity ratios via the proposed control law,which is also demonstrated by numerical simulation. 展开更多

This paper explores the issue of secure synchronization control in piecewise-homogeneous Markovian jump delay neural networks affected by denial-of-service(DoS)attacks.Initially,a novel memory-based adaptive event-triggered mechanism(MBAETM)is designed based on sequential growth rates,focusing on event-triggered conditions and thresholds.Subsequently,from the perspective of defenders,non-periodic DoS attacks are re-characterized,and a model of irregular DoS attacks with cyclic fluctuations within time series is further introduced to enhance the system's defense capabilities more effectively.Additionally,considering the unified demands of network security and communication efficiency,a resilient memory-based adaptive event-triggered mechanism(RMBAETM)is proposed.A unified Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is then constructed,incorporating a loop functional to thoroughly consider information at trigger moments.The master-slave system achieves synchronization through the application of linear matrix inequality techniques.Finally,the proposed methods'effectiveness and superiority are confirmed through four numerical simulation examples. 展开更多

A synchronous control of relative attitude and position is required in separated ultraquiet spacecraft, such as drag-free, disturbance-free, and distributed spacecraft. Thus, a twistorbased synchronous sliding mode control is investigated in this paper to solve the control problem of relative attitude and position among separated spacecraft modules. The twistor-based control design and the stability proof are implemented using the Modified Rodrigues Parameter(MRP).To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed control method, this paper presents a case study of separated spacecraft flying control considering the mass uncertainty and external disturbances. In addition, a simulation study of the Proportional-Derivative(PD) control is also presented for comparison. The results indicate that the twistor-based sliding mode controller can ensure global asymptotic stability. The states converge fast with ultra-precision and ultra-stability in both the attitude and position. Moreover, the proposed twistor-based sliding mode control system is robust to the mass uncertainty and external disturbances. 展开更多

Two different scenarios for the rotation matrices of the agents are considered. In the first scenario, the rotations are contained in a convex subset of SO(3), which is a ball of radius less than π/2, whereas in the second scenario the agents are contained in a subset of SO(3), which is a ball of radius less than ~. Using a control law based on backstepping and sliding mode control, we provide distributed, semi-global, torque control laws for the agents so that the rotations asymptotically synchronize. The control laws for the agents in the first scenario only depend on the relative rotations between neighboring agents, whereas the control laws in the second scenario depend on rotations defined in a global coordinate frame, lllustrative examples are provided where the synchronization is shown for both scenarios. 展开更多

The swarm DF mapping is established for underactuated differentially flat dynamics, according to the control objective. The DF mapping refers to the fact that the system state and input of each robot can be derived algebraically from the flat outputs of the leaders and the cooperative errors and their finite order derivatives. Based on the proposed swarm DF mapping, a distributed controller is designed. The distributed implementation of swarm DF mapping is achieved through observer design. For a sampled-data control system with nonuniform sampling, the sampling interval sequence, which is continuously distributed in a given interval, is described as a multiple independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) process. With this process, the closed-loop system is transformed into an asynchronous dynamical impulsive model with input delays. Sufficient conditions for the closed-loop mean-square exponential stability are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), in which the relation between the nonuniform sampling and the mean-square exponential stability of the closed-loop system is explicitly established. Based on the stability conditions, the controller design method is given, which is further formulated as a convex optimization problem with LMI constraints. Numerical examples and experiment results are given to show the effectiveness and the advantages of the theoretical results. 展开更多

Therefore, this paper has proposed a method of automatic measurement and compensation of synchronization delay, and analyzed its operating principle and implementation procedure in detail. This paper considers how to use a group of robots to sense and control a diffusion process.The diffusion process is modeled by a partial differential equation (PDE),which is a both spatially and temporally variant system.The robots can serve as mobile sensors,actuators,or both.Centroidal Voronoi Tessellations based coverage control algorithm is proposed for the cooperative sensing task.For the diffusion control problem,this paper considers spraying control via a group of networked mobile robots equipped with chemical neutralizers,known as smart mobile sprayers or actuators,in a domain of interest having static mesh sensor network for concentration sensing.This paper also introduces the information sharing and consensus strategy when using centroidal Voronoi tessellations algorithm to control a diffusion process.The information is shared not only on where to spray but also on how much to spray among the mobile actuators.Benefits from using CVT and information consensus seeking for sensing and control of a diffusion process are demonstrated in simulation results. 展开更多

In this work,an adaptive sampling control strategy for distributed predictive control is proposed.According to the proposed method,the sampling rate of each subsystem of the accused object is determined based on the periodic detection of its dynamic behavior and calculations made using a correlation function.Then,the optimal sampling interval within the period is obtained and sent to the corresponding sub-prediction controller,and the sampling interval of the controller is changed accordingly before the next sampling period begins.In the next control period,the adaptive sampling mechanism recalculates the sampling rate of each subsystem’s measurable output variable according to both the abovementioned method and the change in the dynamic behavior of the entire system,and this process is repeated.Such an adaptive sampling interval selection based on an autocorrelation function that measures dynamic behavior can dynamically optimize the selection of sampling rate according to the real-time change in the dynamic behavior of the controlled object.It can also accurately capture dynamic changes,meaning that each sub-prediction controller can more accurately calculate the optimal control quantity at the next moment,significantly improving the performance of distributed model predictive control(DMPC).A comparison demonstrates that the proposed adaptive sampling DMPC algorithm has better tracking performance than the traditional DMPC algorithm. 展开更多
