In today’s complex and rapidly changing business environment, the traditional single-organization service model can no longer meet the needs of multi-organization collaborative processing.Based on existing business process engine technologies, this paper proposes a distributed heterogeneous process engine collaboration method for crossorganizational scenarios. The core of this method lies in achieving unified access and management of heterogeneous engines through a business process model adapter and a common operation interface. The key technologies include:Meta-Process Control Architecture, where the central engine(meta-process scheduler)decomposes the original process into fine-grained sub-processes and schedules their execution in a unified order, ensuring consistency with the original process logic;Process Model Adapter, which addresses the BPMN2.0 model differences among heterogeneous engines such as Flowable and Activiti through a matching-and-replacement mechanism, providing a unified process model standard for different engines;Common Operation Interface, which encapsulates the REST APIs of heterogeneous engines and offers a single, standardized interface for process deployment, instance management, and status synchronization. This method integrates multiple techniques to address API differences, process model incompatibilities, and execution order consistency issues among heterogeneous engines, delivering a unified, flexible, and scalable solution for cross-organizational process collaboration. 展开更多

The characteristic impedances of L-type and T-type networks are first investigated for a distributed amplifier design. The analysis shows that the L-type network has better frequency characteristics than the T-type one.A distribution amplifier based on the L-type network is implemented with the 2-μm GaAs HBT(heterojunction-bipolar transistor) process of WIN semiconductors. The measurement result presents excellent bandwidth performance and gives a gain of 5.5 dB with a gain flatness of ±1dB over a frequency range from 3 to 18 GHz.The return losses S11 and S22 are below-10dB in the designed frequency range. The output 1-dB compression point at 5 GHz is 13.3 dBm.The chip area is 0.95 mm2 and the power dissipation is 95 mW under a 3.5 V supply. 展开更多

Due to the limited scenes that synthetic aperture radar(SAR)satellites can detect, the full-track utilization rate is not high.Because of the computing and storage limitation of one satellite,it is difficult to process large amounts of data of spaceborne synthetic aperture radars. It is proposed to use a new method of networked satellite data processing for improving the efficiency of data processing.A multi-satellite distributed SAR real-time processing method based on Chirp Scaling(CS)imaging algorithm is studied in this paper, and a distributed data processing system is built with field programmable gate array(FPGA)chips as the kernel.Different from the traditional CS algorithm processing, the system divides data processing into three stages. The computing tasks are reasonably allocated to different data processing units(i.e.,satellites)in each stage. The method effectively saves computing and storage resources of satellites, improves the utilization rate of a single satellite, and shortens the data processing time.Gaofen-3(GF-3)satellite SAR raw data is processed by the system, with the performance of the method verified. 展开更多

The distributed hybrid processing optimization problem of non-cooperative targets is an important research direction for future networked air-defense and anti-missile firepower systems. In this paper, the air-defense anti-missile targets defense problem is abstracted as a nonconvex constrained combinatorial optimization problem with the optimization objective of maximizing the degree of contribution of the processing scheme to non-cooperative targets, and the constraints mainly consider geographical conditions and anti-missile equipment resources. The grid discretization concept is used to partition the defense area into network nodes, and the overall defense strategy scheme is described as a nonlinear programming problem to solve the minimum defense cost within the maximum defense capability of the defense system network. In the solution of the minimum defense cost problem, the processing scheme, equipment coverage capability, constraints and node cost requirements are characterized, then a nonlinear mathematical model of the non-cooperative target distributed hybrid processing optimization problem is established, and a local optimal solution based on the sequential quadratic programming algorithm is constructed, and the optimal firepower processing scheme is given by using the sequential quadratic programming method containing non-convex quadratic equations and inequality constraints. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation examples. 展开更多

In the distributed synthetic aperture radar(SAR),the alternating bistatic mode can perform phase reference without a synchronization link between two satellites compared with the pulsed alternate synchronization method. The key of the phase synchronization processing is to extract the oscillator phase differences from the bistatic echoes.A signal model of phase synchronization in the alternating bistatic mode is presented. The phase synchronization processing method is then studied. To reduce the phase errors introduced by SAR imaging,a sub-aperture processing method is proposed. To generalize the sub-aperture processing method,an echo-domain processing method using correlation of bistatic echoes is proposed. Finally, the residual phase errors of the both proposed processing methods are analyzed.Simulation experiments validate the proposed phase synchronization processing method and its phase error analysis results. 展开更多

Due to the restricted satellite payloads in LEO mega-constellation networks(LMCNs),remote sensing image analysis, online learning and other big data services desirably need onboard distributed processing(OBDP).In existing technologies, the efficiency of big data applications(BDAs)in distributed systems hinges on the stable-state and low-latency links between worker nodes. However,LMCNs with high-dynamic nodes and long-distance links can not provide the above conditions, which makes the performance of OBDP hard to be intuitively measured. To bridge this gap,a multidimensional simulation platform is indispensable that can simulate the network environment of LMCNs and put BDAs in it for performance testing.Using STK's APIs and parallel computing framework,we achieve real-time simulation for thousands of satellite nodes, which are mapped as application nodes through software defined network(SDN)and container technologies. We elaborate the architecture and mechanism of the simulation platform, and take the Starlink and Hadoop as realistic examples for simulations. The results indicate that LMCNs have dynamic end-to-end latency which fluctuates periodically with the constellation movement.Compared to ground data center networks(GDCNs),LMCNs deteriorate the computing and storage job throughput, which can be alleviated by the utilization of erasure codes and data flow scheduling of worker nodes. 展开更多

In the graph signal processing(GSP)framework, distributed algorithms are highly desirable in processing signals defined on large-scale networks. However,in most existing distributed algorithms, all nodes homogeneously perform the local computation, which calls for heavy computational and communication costs. Moreover,in many real-world networks, such as those with straggling nodes, the homogeneous manner may result in serious delay or even failure. To this end,we propose active network decomposition algorithms to select non-straggling nodes(normal nodes)that perform the main computation and communication across the network. To accommodate the decomposition in different kinds of networks, two different approaches are developed, one is centralized decomposition that leverages the adjacency of the network and the other is distributed decomposition that employs the indicator message transmission between neighboring nodes, which constitutes the main contribution of this paper.By incorporating the active decomposition scheme,a distributed Newton method is employed to solve the least squares problem in GSP,where the Hessian inverse is approximately evaluated by patching a series of inverses of local Hessian matrices each of which is governed by one normal node. The proposed algorithm inherits the fast convergence of the second-order algorithms while maintains low computational and communication cost.Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

This paper investigates the estimation problem for a spatially distributed process described by a partial differential equation with missing measurements. The randomly missing measurements are introduced in order to better reflect the reality in the sensor network. To improve the estimation performance for the spatially distributed process,a network of sensors which are allowed to move within the spatial domain is used.We aim to design an estimator which is used to approximate the distributed process and the mobile trajectories for sensors such that, for all possible missing measurements, the estimation error system is globally asymptotically stable in the mean square sense.By constructing Lyapunov functionals and using inequality analysis, the guidance scheme of every sensor and the convergence of the estimation error system are obtained. Finally,a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed estimator utilizing the proposed guidance scheme for sensors. 展开更多

To meet the challenge of implementing rapidly advanced, time-consuming medical image processing algorithms, it is necessary to develop a medical image processing technology to process a 2D or 3D medical image dynamically on the web. But in a premier system, only static image processing can be provided with the limitation of web technology. The development of Java and CORBA (common object request broker architecture) overcomes the shortcoming of the web static application and makes the dynamic processing of medical images on the web available. To develop an open solution of distributed computing, we integrate the Java, and web with the CORBA and present a web-based medical image dynamic processing methed, which adopts Java technology as the language to program application and components of the web and utilies the CORBA architecture to cope with heterogeneous property of a complex distributed system. The method also provides a platform-independent, transparent processing architecture to implement the advanced image routines and enable users to access large dataset and resources according to the requirements of medical applications. The experiment in this paper shows that the medical image dynamic processing method implemented on the web by using Java and the CORBA is feasible. 展开更多

A distributed processing system (DPS) contains many autonomous nodes, which contribute their own computing power. DPS is considered a unified logical structure, operating in a distributed manner;the processing tasks are divided into fragments and assigned to various nodes for processing. That type of operation requires and involves a great deal of communication. We propose to use the decentralized approach, based on a distributed hash table, to reduce the communication overhead and remove the server unit, thus avoiding having a single point of failure in the system. This paper proposes a mathematical model and algorithms that are implemented in a dedicated experimental system. Using the decentralized approach, this study demonstrates the efficient operation of a decentralized system which results in a reduced energy emission. 展开更多

Withthe rapiddevelopment of deep learning, the size of data sets anddeepneuralnetworks(DNNs)models are also booming. As a result, the intolerable long time for models’training or inference with conventional strategies can not meet the satisfaction of modern tasks gradually. Moreover, devices stay idle in the scenario of edge computing(EC),which presents a waste of resources since they can share the pressure of the busy devices but they do not.To address the problem, the strategy leveraging distributed processing has been applied to load computation tasks from a single processor to a group of devices, which results in the acceleration of training or inference of DNN models and promotes the high utilization of devices in edge computing.Compared with existing papers, this paper presents an enlightening and novel review of applying distributed processing with data and model parallelism to improve deep learning tasks in edge computing.Considering the practicalities, commonly used lightweight models in a distributed system are introduced as well.As the key technique, the parallel strategy will be described in detail. Then some typical applications of distributed processing will be analyzed. Finally, the challenges of distributed processing with edge computing will be described. 展开更多

This paper considers how to use a group of robots to sense and control a diffusion process. The diffusion process is modeled by a partial differential equation (PDE),which is a both spatially and temporally variant system. The robots can serve as mobile sensors, actuators,or both.Centroidal Voronoi Tessellations based coverage control algorithm is proposed for the cooperative sensing task. For the diffusion control problem, this paper considers spraying control via a group of networked mobile robots equipped with chemical neutralizers, known as smart mobile sprayers or actuators,in a domain of interest having static mesh sensor network for concentration sensing. This paper also introduces the information sharing and consensus strategy when using centroidal Voronoi tessellations algorithm to control a diffusion process. The information is shared not only on where to spray but also on how much to spray among the mobile actuators.Benefits from using CVT and information consensus seeking for sensing and control of a diffusion process are demonstrated in simulation results. 展开更多

In the manufacturing industry, reasonable scheduling can greatly improve production efficiency, while excessive resource consumption highlights the growing significance of energy conservation in production. This paper studies the problem of energy-efficient distributed heterogeneous permutation flowshop problem with variable processing speed(DHPFSP-VPS),considering both the minimum makespan and total energy consumption(TEC)as objectives.A discrete multi-objective squirrel search algorithm(DMSSA)is proposed to solve the DHPFSPVPS.DMSSA makes four improvements based on the squirrel search algorithm.Firstly,in terms of the population initialization strategy, four hybrid initialization methods targeting different objectives are proposed to enhance the quality of initial solutions.Secondly, enhancements are made to the population hierarchy system and position updating methods of the squirrel search algorithm, making it more suitable for discrete scheduling problems.Additionally, regarding the search strategy, six local searches are designed based on problem characteristics to enhance search capability. Moreover,a dynamic predator strategy based on Q-learning is devised to effectively balance DMSSA’s capability for global exploration and local exploitation. Finally, two speed control energy-efficient strategies are designed to reduce TEC.Extensive comparative experiments are conducted in this paper to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategies. The results of comparing DMSSA with other algorithms demonstrate its superior performance and its potential for efficient solving of the DHPFSP-VPS problem. 展开更多

The problems will have some impact on the results. To solve the problems, a method of improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process is proposed. By using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method, a hierarchical analysis model is established. And then according to the given judgment matrix of each index layer, we calculate whether it meets the consistency condition. And then if the judgment matrix does not meet the consistency condition, the problem will be solved by the improving of particle swarm optimization (PSO) with Kalman filter. The practice in the distributed energy system shows that the method can not only fully reflect the fuzziness of assessment elements and process, but also reduce the influence of individual subjective factors and better evaluation results can be achieved. 展开更多

Bone repair remains an important target in tissue engineering, making the development of bioactive scaffolds for effective bone defect repair a critical objective. In this study,β-tricalcium phosphate(β-TCP)scaffolds incorporated with processed pyritum decoction(PPD)were fabricated using three-dimensional(3D)printing-assisted freeze-casting.The produced composite scaffolds were evaluated for their mechanical strength, physicochemical properties, biocompatibility,in vitro proangiogenic activity, and in vivo efficacy in repairing rabbit femoral defects. They not only demonstrated excellent physicochemical properties, enhanced mechanical strength, and good biosafety but also significantly promoted the proliferation, migration, and aggregation of pro-angiogenic human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).In vivo studies revealed that all scaffold groups facilitated osteogenesis at the bone defect site, with theβ-TCP scaffolds loaded with PPD markedly enhancing the expression of neurogenic locus Notch homolog protein 1(Notch1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2),and osteopontin(OPN).Overall, the scaffolds developed in this study exhibited strong angiogenic and osteogenic capabilities both in vitro and in vivo. The incorporation of PPD notably promoted the angiogenic-osteogenic coupling, thereby accelerating bone repair, which suggests that PPD is a promising material for bone repair and that the PPD/β-TCP scaffolds hold great potential as a bone graft alternative. 展开更多
