Orientation Parameters Estimation and Lens Distortion Correction for UAVs Photogrammetry with Non-metric Cameras

The estimation of orientation parameters and correction of lens distortion are crucial problems in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)photogrammetry.In recent years,the utilization of UAVs for aerial photogrammetry has witnessed a surge in popularity.Typically,UAVs are equipped with low-cost non-metric cameras and a Position and Orientation System(POS).Unfortunately,the Interior Orientation Parameters(IOPs)of the non-metric cameras are not fixed.Whether the lens distortions are large or small,they effect the image coordinates accordingly.Additionally,Inertial Measurement Units(IMUs)often have observation errors.To address these challenges and improve parameter estimation for UAVs Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR)and photogrammetry,this paper analyzes the accuracy of POS observations obtained from Global Navigation Satellite System Real Time Kinematic(GNSS-RTK)and IMU data.A method that incorporates additional known conditions for parameter estimation,a series of algorithms to simultaneously solve for IOPs,Exterior Orientation Parameters(EOPs),and camera lens distortion correction parameters are proposed.Extensive experiments demonstrate that the coordinates measured by GNSS-RTK can be directly used as linear EOPs;however,angular EOP measurements from IMUs exhibit relatively large errors compared to adjustment results and require correction during the adjustment process.The IOPs of non-metric cameras vary slightly between images but need to be treated as unknown parameters in high precision applications.Furthermore,it is found that the Ebner systematic error model is sensitive to the choice of the magnification parameter of the photographic baseline length in images,it should be set as less than or equal to one third of the photographic baseline to ensure stable solutions. 展开更多

Cascade Kalman filter for gravity anomaly distortion correction based on second order potential model 被引量:1

Using a gravity anomaly covariance function based on the second-order Ganssian Markov gravity anomaly potential model, the state equation of a gravity anomaly signal is obtained in marine gravimetry. Combined with the system state equation and the measurement equation, a new method of the cascade Kalman filter is proposed and applied to the correction of gravity anomaly distortion. In the signal processing procedure, an inverse Kalman filter is used to restore the gravity anomaly signal and high frequency noises first. Then an adaptive Kalman filter, which uses the gravity anomaly state equation as the system equation, is set to estimate the actual gravity anomaly data. Emulations and experiments indicate that both the cascade Kalman filter method and the single inverse Kalman filter method are effective in alleviating the distortion of the gravity anomaly signal, but the performance of the cascade Kalman filter method is better than that of the single inverse Kalman filter method. 展开更多

X-ray image has been widely used in many fields such as medical diagnosis,industrial inspection,and so on.Unfortunately,due to the physical characteristics of X-ray and imaging system,distortion of the projected image will happen,which restrict the application of X-ray image,especially in high accuracy fields.Distortion correction can be performed using algorithms that can be classified as global or local according to the method used,both having specific advantages and disadvantages.In this paper,a new global method based on support vector regression(SVR)machine for distortion correction is proposed.In order to test the presented method,a calibration phantom is specially designed for this purpose.A comparison of the proposed method with the traditional global distortion correction techniques is performed.The experimental results show that the proposed correction method performs better than the traditional global one. 展开更多

The residual stress distribution along the depth direction of the peened zone was measured by an X-ray diffractometer. The microstructure of the treated specimens was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The Vickers microhardness was measured in different areas of welded joint before USPT and along the depth direction of the weld after USPT. The experimental results indicated that the welding buckling distortion of 5A06 aluminum alloy butt joint can be essentially corrected by USPT; the average correction rate reached 90.8% in this study. Furthermore, USPT enhanced specimens by work hardening. The microstructure of the peened zone was improved; moreover, the distribution of the precipitates and grains presented an apparent orientation. 展开更多

Surface low/distortion is one of the most challenging surface deflections that have a great effect on the exterior appearance of automobiles.Most studies on surface distortion/deflection have focused on evaluation and visualization techniques,the research work on correction or prevention of surface low/distortion is limited,and there is no perfect surface low/distortion corrective method that can satisfy the needs of the engineering.A B-spline based geometry morphing algorithm is proposed and then a new program based on UG-NX platform is developed to modify the die face in the surface low/distortion areas.To verify this developed system,the experimental dies that can replicate the surface low/distortion phenomenon successfully is put to use.Five geometric variables are introduced to describe the basic geometry of typical depression features of automotive outer panels.The experimental dies are then designed to reflect various combinations of these geometric parameters.The stamping experiments are conducted on cold rolled grade 5(CR5) sheet steel and various static measurements,such as oil-stoning,laser scanner,etc,are performed to measure and record the surface low/distortions.Three approaches including good bearing,holds in blank and die face morphing that aim to correct low/distortions are tried out and surface low/distortions are observed in the specimen with reverse draw depth of 10 mm.The measurement results show that die morphing is a practical and effective method to correct the surface low/distortion.The correction method proposed can be used to minimize the occurrence of surface low/distortion in die manufacturing,which has certain reference significance to the correction of surface low/distortion. 展开更多

To numerically study the impact of total temperature distortion on a transonic compressor with reduced computational costs,a Body-Force Model(BFM)is developed.Firstly,the interactions between the distorted flow and the compressor are analyzed using full-annulus Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS)results and the orbit method.It is found that the induced swirl distortion and the mass flux nonuniformity are intensified in the compressor upstream flow field.A correction factor is thus added to the BFM to account for the effect of the induced swirl,which is crucial for the accurate representation of distortion transfer in the intake.Then,steady simulations with large-amplitude 180circumferential total temperature distortion are performed using the developed BFM.It is shown that the distorted compressor map simulated with the BFM matches well with URANS results.The circumferential phase shift of total temperature and the generation of the additional total pressure distortion across the rotor are in line with the time-averaged URANS flow field.The compressor upstream effects on the distorted inflow can also be exactly captured.All above-mentioned results demonstrate the BFM developed in this paper can effectively capture the distorted flow features inside the compressor,and significantly reduce the computational costs by five orders of magnitude compared with URANS. 展开更多

In certain exceptional cases,capillary samples must be used to measure X-ray absorption spectra(XAS).However,the inho-mogeneous thickness of capillary samples causes XAS distortion.This study discusses the distortion and correction of the XAS curve caused by the inhomogeneous thickness of capillary samples.The relationship between the distorted XAS curveμ′d_(eq)(measured values)and the real absorption coefficientμ_(s)d_(eq)(true values)of the sample was established.The distortion was slight and negligible when the vertical size(2h)of the X-ray beam spot was smaller than 60%of the capillary tube’s inner diameter(2R_(in)).When h/R_(in)>1,X-ray leakage is inevitable and should be avoided during measurement.Partial X-ray leakage caused by an X-ray beam spot size larger than the inner diameter of the capillary tube leads to serious compressed distortion of the XAS curve.When h/R_(in)<1,the distorted XAS data were well corrected.Possible errors and their influence on the corrected XAS are also discussed.Simulations and corrections for distortions verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the corrected method. 展开更多

To alleviate the distortion of XRII X-ray image intensifier images in the C-arm CT computer tomography imaging system an algorithm based on the Delaunay triangulation interpolation is proposed.First the causes of the phenomenon the classical correction algorithms and the Delaunay triangulation interpolation are analyzed.Then the algorithm procedure is explained using flow charts and illustrations. Finally experiments are described to demonstrate its effectiveness and feasibility. Experimental results demonstrate that the Delaunay triangulation interpolation can have the following effects.In the case of the same center the root mean square distances RMSD and standard deviation STD between the corrected image with Delaunay triangulation interpolation and the ideal image are 5.760 4 ×10 -14 and 5.354 2 ×10 -14 respectively.They increase to 1.790 3 2.388 8 2.338 8 and 1.262 0 1.268 1 1.202 6 after applying the quartic polynomial model L1 and model L2 to the distorted images respectively.The RMSDs and STDs between the corrected image with the Delaunay triangulation interpolation and the ideal image are 2.489 × 10 -13 and 2.449 8 ×10 -13 when their centers do not coincide. When the quartic polynomial model L1 and model L2 are applied to the distorted images they are 1.770 3 2.388 8 2.338 8 and 1.269 9 1.268 1 1.202 6 respectively. 展开更多

This paper proposes a corrected method of distorted image based on adaptive control. First, the adaptive control relationship of pixel point positions between distorted image and its corrected image is given by using polynomial fitting, thus control point pairs between the distorted image and its corrected image are found. Secondly, the value of both image distortion centre and polynomial coefficient is obtained with least square method, thus the relationship of each control point pairs is deduced. In the course of distortion image processing, the gray value of the corrected image is changed into integer with bilinear interpolation. Finally, the experiments are performed to correct two distorted printed circuit board images. The results are perfect and the mean square errors of residual error are tiny. 展开更多

This paper presents a power factor corrected (PFC) new bridgeless (BL) Cuk Topologies for low power applications. A BL configuration of Cuk converter is proposed which eliminates the usage of diode bridge rectifier at the front end of the PFC converter, thus reducing the switching and conduction losses coupled with it. This new BL Cuk converter has two semiconductors switches. The current flow during each switching cycle interval of the converter reduces the conduction losses compared to the conventional Cuk PFC converter. It also reduces the input current ripple and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). The inrush current during the starting period is limited and the input, output currents of the converter are continuous with minimum current ripple. Hence it is preferred mostly compared to other PFC circuits. The proposed topology works in the Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM) with simple control circuitry to achieve almost a unity power factor with less distortion in the input AC current. The switching of the power switches is done under zero current. The proposed PFC topologies are theoretically investigated and performance comparisons are made with the conventional rectifiers. The proposed PFC converter is simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK with Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) and results are demonstrated to evaluate the effectiveness of the controller. 展开更多

当前的畸变矫正技术都是在有参照物的基础上进行的,比如直线、人脸等,应用范围有限。一些深度学习方法也只聚焦于单一的畸变矫正问题,其矫正效果不够好。为了有效解决生活中广泛存在的多种畸变问题,文中提出一种基于RepVGG网络架构的图... 当前的畸变矫正技术都是在有参照物的基础上进行的,比如直线、人脸等,应用范围有限。一些深度学习方法也只聚焦于单一的畸变矫正问题,其矫正效果不够好。为了有效解决生活中广泛存在的多种畸变问题,文中提出一种基于RepVGG网络架构的图像混合畸变矫正方法。该方法对于提取到的特征,分别采用预测模型和分类模型获取预测数据和畸变类型数据,通过这两组数据训练出畸变矫正模型,实现畸变图像的预测、分类以及矫正过程。网络还引入空间注意力机制来关注变形严重区域。同时,为了降低模型训练复杂度,引入线性缩放层代替RepVGG块中的非线性结构,使训练时可以合并块中的操作。再通过压缩块的方式将多分支结构转换为单个卷积层,既加速训练过程,同时又保持了多分支结构的表达优势。通过实验证明该模型在6种类型的畸变图像上都有出色的矫正能力。与现有算法相比,该算法的矫正率均可以达到98%以上,模型训练速度提升了约1.53倍,该方法在图像畸变矫正领域具有一定的适用性。 展开更多

光学相干断层扫描(optical coherence tomography,OCT)成像中不可避免的畸变常常导致成像空间与真实空间之间的不匹配,影响测量的准确性.为解决该问题,本研究提出了一种基于机器学习的OCT图像畸变校正方法.首先,将带有均匀分布圆孔阵列... 光学相干断层扫描(optical coherence tomography,OCT)成像中不可避免的畸变常常导致成像空间与真实空间之间的不匹配,影响测量的准确性.为解决该问题,本研究提出了一种基于机器学习的OCT图像畸变校正方法.首先,将带有均匀分布圆孔阵列的校准板依次在不同标记平面进行成像.选取坐标与所有成像平面的平均坐标偏差最小的点作为参考标记点.然后,利用数学模型重构参考平面上所有标记点的坐标,从而建立校准板成像空间与真实物理空间之间的映射关系.采用多层感知机来学习这种映射关系.利用训练完成的模型推导整个空间点的分布规律,从而实现透镜OCT图像的畸变校正,并求出透镜中心厚度与曲率半径.校正后透镜曲率半径精度达到10μm,误差在1%以内.中心厚度精度可达3μm,相对误差为0.3%. 展开更多

光学畸变是影响光学设备测角精度的一项重要因素,针对靶场红外&可见光炸点经纬仪存在光学畸变较大影响测试精度的问题,分别采用了基于多项式拟合法、多面函数拟合法、Kriging插值法这3种光学畸变校正方法验证校正效果。经验证:红外... 光学畸变是影响光学设备测角精度的一项重要因素,针对靶场红外&可见光炸点经纬仪存在光学畸变较大影响测试精度的问题,分别采用了基于多项式拟合法、多面函数拟合法、Kriging插值法这3种光学畸变校正方法验证校正效果。经验证:红外采用各阶多项式拟合法的畸变校正效果差异不明显,修正后均能优于8",而可见光成像设备三种模型差异较大,需五阶才可将误差降到10"以下;采用多面函数拟合法时,平滑因子对结果精度影响较大,核函数影响不明显,应将重点放在平滑因子的选取上;优化参数向量对Kriging预测模型的影响较大,尤其当变异函数为高斯函数时更为敏感,畸变向量的异向性特征不突出的情况下,Kriging插值的优势不显著。 展开更多

伽马成像可提供核辐射场中放射源分布信息,广泛应用于核安全、核应急、核退役和核医学等领域。核辐射场图像还需与光学实景进行融合,才能为作业人员提供直观的可视化图像。本研究针对伽马相机,提出了一种光学全景的图像畸变校正方法,建... 伽马成像可提供核辐射场中放射源分布信息,广泛应用于核安全、核应急、核退役和核医学等领域。核辐射场图像还需与光学实景进行融合,才能为作业人员提供直观的可视化图像。本研究针对伽马相机,提出了一种光学全景的图像畸变校正方法,建立正方体棋盘格空间,通过识别全景图像内棋盘格的角点坐标对图像全局校正,减少了放射源的定位偏差。硬件系统采用两个220度视野的鱼眼镜头,背靠背获取360度的全景图像。基于理想的角点坐标和识别出的角点坐标,利用Delaunay三角剖分和仿射变换方法来校正图像,实现拼接图像的360度校正。该方法将所有图像角点像素坐标的均方根误差从148.22降到1.13,实测单个点状放射源的方位显示,其在水平方向的1.93度偏差和垂直方向上的-0.48度偏差得以校正。 展开更多
