New ambient sound absorption material,lightweight isocyanate-based polyimide foam(IBPIF),was fabricated by operable combination between different distinctive acoustic IBPIF.Cellular structure of IBPIF was facilely and obviously adjusted by increased slurry temperature corresponding to change in distinctive acoustic properties.Moreover,density of all IBPIF kept at only 12-17 kg/m3.With increasing slurry temperature from 0℃to 40℃,cell size and window opening rate gradually increased from 553μm to 791μm and from 6.85%to 58.46%,respectively.In this study,IBPIF generated by slurries at 0℃(marked as PIF-2)and 40℃(marked as PIF-6)showed best and distinctive acoustic behavior in 315-800 Hz and 800-6300 Hz regions,respectively.After acoustic behavior study of combined IBPIF prepared by stitching combination between two distinctive acoustic IBPIFs,results showed that only when PIF-6 sheet used as sound receiving surface even though with thickness of only 10 mm could the combined IBPIF possess the best acoustic level in 800-6300 Hz region as PIF-6.Furtherly,acoustic behavior in 315-800 Hz region could be significantly enhanced by increasing thickness of PIF-2 and could reach or close to the best acoustic level. 展开更多

Atmospheric lower-power pulsed microwave argon cold plasma jets are obtained by using coaxial transmission line resonators in ambient air.The plasma jet plumes are generated at the end of a metal wire placed in the middle of the dielectric tubes.The electromagnetic model analyses and simulation results suggest that the discharges are excited resonantly by the enhanced electric field of surface plasmon polaritons.Moreover,for conquering the defect of atmospheric argon filamentation discharges excited by 2.45-GHz of continued microwave,the distinctive patterns of the plasma jet plumes can be maintained by applying different gas flow rates of argon gas,frequencies of pulsed modulator,duty cycles of pulsed microwave,peak values of input microwave power,and even by using different materials of dielectric tubes.In addition,the emission spectrum,the plume temperature,and other plasma parameters are measured,which shows that the proposed pulsed microwave plasma jets can be adjusted for plasma biomedical applications. 展开更多

On the basis of the developmental status of Guangxi distinctive agriculture,the key selection of developing Guangxi distinctive agriculture is analyzed.Its distinctive agriculture contains distinctive plantation,distinctive forestry and distinctive breeding.Based on the analysis,two display indices,domestic comparative advantages index and domestic competitiveness,are selected to analyze the competitiveness of Guangxi distinctive agriculture.The results show that at present the overall competitiveness of Guangxi distinctive agriculture is strong,but its competitiveness is reflected on resource advantages and most of the resources are primary agro-products.Accordingly,in the future,Guangxi distinctive agriculture should adopt non-equilibrium developmental strategy;take the great-leap-forward developmental path;apply modern production elements to increase the competitiveness of Guangxi distinctive agriculture.It should lay stress on "three innovation",which includes organization innovation,developing distinctive agricultural firms ;technology innovation,enlarging the scope and scale of agricultural listed companies;financial fund-raising innovation,transforming traditional distinctive agriculture by using high and new technology. 展开更多

Remarkable strides have been made in science ever since the scientific revolution in the 17th century, and the scientific community continues to prosper today. In its professional activities and social life, this community has created a scientific culture that is increasingly prosperous and is having a significant impact on the development of human culture. The scientific culture has distinctive features that are different from those of the literary culture. For example, it emphasizes the decisive role of objective examination in the course of enquiry to reduce the impact of the subjectivity of researchers on the results. It also stresses the objectivity of knowledge and testing that objectivity through reproducibility. It favours experimental and mathematical approaches while underestimating the roles of imaginal and intuitive thinking, and advocates the values of utilitarianism. This paper concludes that the distinctive features of the scientific culture should be examined in the course of its current development to eliminate the negative impact of utilitarianism. 展开更多

With the process of globalization and integration,more and more people tend to be bilingual.Undoubtedly,mastering a second language is significant.This thesis aims to explore how to conquer the difficulties in learning British English sounds through analyzing a British cartoon Peppa Pig.Chapter one begins with the research background,significance and purpose of research.The thesis takes the cartoon Peppa Pig as the starting point to demonstrate the role of distinctive features for Chinese learners to conquer negative transfer.The empirical research could be found in Chapter two,because of requiring to know the concrete circumstance of Chinese learners.Through the collection and analysis of data,we can know these problems which Chinese learners exist in the process of learning British English.Based on the comparison of Chinese and British English,Chapter three clarifies the difficulties in learning British English.As for Chinese learners,mastering distinctive features can promote learners to master British English sounds better than stress and rhythm.Chapter four states the role of the distinctive features in helping conquer Chinese negative transfer in the cartoon Peppa Pig.The final chapter is the conclusion of this thesis and involves a new study for Chinese learners to learn British English sounds under the distinctive features. 展开更多

Bangladesh is enriched with beautiful traditional indigenous cultures.Different indigenous peoples with their distinctive existences also considerably create an enhance values and lifestyles to the socio-cultural sectors of Bangladesh[1].Habitually,these indigenous communities have been comparable to live a large combined family to shear their lifestyles[2].Presently the country has 45 indigenous communities who are living in different locations.All indigenous people within this country have their own style to build their settlements with special techniques to keep them safe and sound from all types of natural and environmental vulnerabilities and also enhance their knowledge of construction techniques and lifestyle.Rakhain is one of them with very small number of people are still living in different regions within the country which have their own system of building techniques.Study found that for several hundreds of years Rakhains are strictly following their indigenous prescription of house and settlement pattern.Although like other indigenous people of this country,they have mountains of problems,such as forced land occupation,lack of security and minority characteristics.Above all,forced political separation has gradually drowned them in the abysmal pit of marginal destiny.This has turned them into exiles in their own land.As a result,many of them are being forced to leave the country and as a result they misplaced their native knowledge and technique to construct.Thus,this study will initially focus on to search for the distinctiveness of their settlement pattern and building construction techniques and lifestyle.Again,in view of their problems,knowledge and experiences concerning archetype,built and house pattern,this study will finally explain how Rakhains accumulate their every distinctiveness from history and for present and future invention. 展开更多

Photodetectors convert photons into current or voltage outputs and are thus widely used for spectroscopy,imaging and sensing.Traditional photodetectors generally show a consistent-polarity response to incident photons within their broadband responsive spectrum.Here we introduced a new type of photodetector employing SnS_(2) nanosheets sensitized with PbS colloidal quantum dots(CQDs)that are not only sensitive(~105AW−1)and broadband(300–1000 nm)but also spectrally distinctive,that is,show distinctive(positive or negative)photoresponse toward incident photons of different wavelengths.A careful mechanism study revealed illumination-modulated Schottky contacts between SnS_(2) nanosheets and Au electrodes,altering the photoresponse polarity toward incident photons of different wavelengths.Finally,we applied our SnS_(2) nanosheet/PbS CQDs hybrid photodetector to differentiate the color temperature of emission from a series of white light-emitting diodes(LEDs),showcasing the unique application of our novel photodetectors. 展开更多

Small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)are key contributors to technological innovation.As China's vanguard for self-reliance and strength in science and technology,specialized,sophisticated,distinctive and novel(SSDN)SMEs have grown into an important motivation for high-quality development,a key stabilizer for the new development paradigm,and a vital force for an innovation-driven China.In recent years,China has been ramping up support for SSDN SMEs,and raised the focus on their development to a new level.At present,some problems and obstacles are befalling the high-quality development of SSDN SMEs,such as imperfect innovation system and mechanism,weak basic research service capabilities,a digital divide in digital transformation,and insuficient vitality of collaboration among players in the innovation ecosystem.In the future,China should promote the high-quality development of SSDN SMEs from system and mechanism,basic input,business environment,and digital empowerment.Specifically,China should increase policy support to consolidate the institutional guarantee for innovative development,build more platforms to form a dynamic innovation ecology,enhance intellectual property protection to spur entrepreneurship,and ramp up upgrading and transformation for the quality and efficiency improvement of traditional enterprises. 展开更多

Adolescence is a crucial period marked by significant developmental changes,during which risk-taking behaviors can be both a normative part of development and a potential source of concern.However,prior research has focused predominantly on the adverse aspects of risk-taking(i.e.,negative risk-taking),overlooked the positive counterpart(i.e.,positive risk-taking),and lacked a detailed examination of both.This study aims to elucidate the distinct characteristics and interrelationships of positive and negative risk-taking behaviors among adoles-cents and to identify the key factors that influence these behaviors.Through a comprehensive synthesis of theoretical and empirical literature,we explore the multifaceted nature of risk-taking,highlighting its complex influencing factors,including individual traits,family dynamics,peer influence,school environment,and broader community contexts.By identifying the shared and unique factors contributing to positive and negative risk-taking behaviors,we can enable adolescents to navigate this complex stage of life and design targeted interventions.Future research directions include the application of person-centered approaches,the implementation of longitudinal tracking and the interactive effects of influencing factors,among other aspects. 展开更多

Effect of Pressure on the Metal-Insulator Transition of the Cubic Pyrochlore Tl_(2)Ru_(2)O_(7)

The cubic pyrochlore Tl_(2)Ru_(2)O_(7) undergoes concurrently a metal–insulator transition (MIT) and a first-order structural transition at T_(MIT)≈120 K,below which the system was found to form one-dimensional spin-one Haldane chains associated with an orbital ordering of Ru-4d electrons.With an aim to tune and access distinct ground states with strong entanglements of multiple degrees of freedom,i.e.,spin,orbital,charge,and lattice,we utilize a high-pressure approach to regulate the MIT of this system.Our detailed resistivityρ(T) measurements on the polycrystalline Tl_(2)Ru_(2)O_(7) samples under various hydrostatic pressures indeed reveal an unusual evolution of the electronic ground states.At first,the MIT is suppressed monotonically from 120 K at ambient to about 70 K at 1.5 GPa and then vanishes suddenly at about 1.8 GPa without achieving a metallic ground state.Meanwhile,the system evolves into a semiconducting ground state with magnitude ofρ(T) in the entire temperature range enhanced gradually by further increasing pressure.Prior to the abrupt disappearance of MIT,a new electronic order manifested as a kink-like anomaly inρ(T) emerges at T_(0)>T_(MIT) at 1.2 GPa and it continues to increase with pressure,producing a tricritical-point-like behavior in the T–P phase diagram of Tl_(2)Ru_(2)O_(7).The presence of two successive transitions at T_(0 )and T_(MIT )in the pressure range 1.2–1.5 GPa indicates an inhomogeneous electronic state nearby the tricritical point.At P≥3 GPa,another broad anomaly emerges inρ(T) at T_(1)>T_(0),and T_(1)continuously increases with pressure,dividing the semiconductingρ(T) into distinct thermally activated regions.These rich phenomena in the pressurized Tl_(2)Ru_(2)O_(7) should originate from the complex interplay of strongly entangled multiple quantum degrees of freedom in the system near the localized-to-itinerant crossover regime. 展开更多
