Objective: this paper analyzes the impact of implementing health education measures on the compliance and disease knowledge of diabetic outpatients. Methods: From October 2019 to October 2020, 130 diabetic patients admitted to the outpatient department of our hospital were studied. They were randomly divided into two groups by the method of single and double number grouping. The single number was named as the conventional group (conventional nursing) and the double number was named as the observation group (conventional nursing combined with intensive health education). The number of both patients was equal, being 65. The clinical nursing effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: compared with the conventional group, the observation group had significantly higher compliance score, disease knowledge mastery score and total nursing satisfaction (P < 0.05). The difference between the two groups was statistically significant. Conclusion: the application of the method of strengthening health education in clinical nursing of outpatients with diabetes can effectively promote the improvement of nursing effect, with outstanding clinical application value and worth popularizing. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Purpura nephritis, also called Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis,is a systemic disease with small dead vasculitis as the main pathological change.AIM To observe the influence of transitional nursing activities on the compliance behaviors and disease knowledge of children with purpura nephritis.METHODS A total of 82 children with purpura nephritis were included and divided into a general nursing group(41 children)and transitional nursing group(41 children)using the envelope method. The general nursing group received routine nursing care, while the transitional nursing group received transitional nursing care. The behaviors, knowledge of the disease, and self-management ability of the two groups were evaluated after nursing care was provided.RESULTS The scores of four items(self-care ability,self-responsibility,health knowledge level, and self-concept)in the transitional nursing group were significantly higher than those in the general nursing group.CONCLUSION Transitional nursing can directly improve the disease knowledge level and selfmanagement ability of children with purpura nephritis and effectively reduce complications. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Cerebrovascular disease(CVD)poses a serious threat to human health and safety. Thus, developing a reasonable exercise program plays an important role in the long-term recovery and prognosis for patients with CVD.Studies have shown that predictive nursing can improve the quality of care and that the information–knowledge–attitude–practice(IKAP)nursing model has a positive impact on patients who suffered a stroke.Few studies have combined these two nursing models to treat CVD.AIM To explore the effect of the IKAP nursing model combined with predictive nursing on the Fugl–Meyer motor function(FMA)score,Barthel index score, and disease knowledge mastery rate in patients with CVD.METHODS A total of 140 patients with CVD treated at our hospital between December 2019 and September 2021 were randomly divided into two groups, with 70 patients in each. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received the IKAP nursing model combined with predictive nursing. Both groups were observed for self-care ability, motor function, and disease knowledge mastery rate after one month of nursing.RESULTS There was no clear difference between the Barthel index and FMA scores of the two groups before nursing(P>0.05);however,their scores increased after nursing. This increase was more apparent in the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The rates of disease knowledge mastery, timely medication, appropriate exercise, and reasonable diet were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate in the observation group(97.14%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(81.43%;P<0.05).CONCLUSION The IKAP nursing model, combined with predictive nursing,is more effective than routine nursing in the care of patients with CVD,and it can significantly improve the Barthel index and FMA scores with better knowledge acquisition,as well as produce high satisfaction in patients. Moreover, they can be widely used in the clinical setting. 展开更多

Objective: to investigate the knowledge of diabetes mellitus in patients of different ages and the duration of illness and to analyze the causes. In order to provide direction for patient care in the future. Methods: an in-depth semi-structured interview was conducted with 8 diabetic patients in the department of endocrinology of a top 3 general hospital, and the colaizzi seven-step data analysis method was used to determine the theme, and the 7 steps of Colaizzi phenomenological research data analysis were the most used data analysis methods. Results: (1) disease cognition is not comprehensive;(2) diabetic patients have low self-management efficiency;(3) face difficulties still have confidence in fighting diseases;(4) hospitalization and after discharge need professional guidance from medical staff. Conclusion: healthcare professionals should help patients fully grasp the disease-related content, promote their self-management ability, and provide long-term and effective professional guidance. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Cerebral infarction, previously referred to as cerebral infarction or ischemic stroke, refers to the localized brain tissue experiencing ischemic necrosis or softening due to disorders in brain blood supply, ischemia, and hypoxia. The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management is a continuous, fixed, orderly, and efficient nursing model aimed at standardizing the clinical nursing process, reducing the wastage of medical resources, and improving the quality of medical services.AIM To analyze the value of a precise rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management in patients with cerebral infarction.METHODS Patients(n=124)admitted to our hospital with cerebral infarction between November 2019 and November 2021 were enrolled as the study subjects. The random number table method was used to divide them into a conventional nursing intervention group(n=61)and a model nursing intervention group(n=63).Changes in the nursing index for the two groups were compared after conventional nursing intervention and precise rehabilitation intervention nursing for chronic disease management.RESULTS Compared with the conventional intervention group, the model intervention group had a shorter time to clinical symptom relief(P<0.05),lower Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale scores,a lower incidence of total complications(P<0.05),a higher disease knowledge mastery rate, higher safety and quality, and a higher overall nursing satisfaction rate(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management improves the clinical symptoms of patients with cerebral infarction, reducing the incidence of total complications and improving the clinical outcome of patients, and is worthy of application in clinical practice. 展开更多

Objective To explore and analyze the application effect of health education in cerebral infarction nursing and its influence on patients' quality of life. Methods 74 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from December 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the study subjects. According to the random color ball extraction method, 37 patients were divided into the reference group (routine nursing) and the study group (health education based on routine nursing). The scores of quality of life and disease knowledge mastery of patients in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results After health education, the scores of disease knowledge mastery and social, role and physical function of patients in the study group were significantly higher than those in the reference group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Health education can not only improve patients' cognitive level of disease, but also help them to correctly understand cerebral infarction. It also ensures their prognostic quality of life. 展开更多
