A New Dynamic Model of Hydro-Viscous Clutch in a Stepless Speed Regulation Fan Drive System Considering Oil Groove Structures

This study aims to develop an accurate calculation model of transmission torque and load-bearing capacity for hydro-viscous clutches(HVC)used in high-power vehicles,which is important to investigate the step-less speed regulation characteristics in a fan drive system.However,most of the existing models ignore the distribution differences of groove area along the radial direction,which may lead to significant deviations in calculating the mechanical property of friction pairs related to operating conditions and the engagement process.To fill this gap,a new calculation model for bearing capacity and frictional torque of friction pairs with different oil grooves is proposed,in which the traditional fixed contact area ratio coefficient for oil groove measurement is replaced by a more precise discrete micro-ring area ratio(DMAR)integration method.Then,a 32-degree-of-freedoms dynamic model of HVC at a fan drive system is established for the prediction of dynamic responses during speed regulation.Results show that friction pairs with different oil grooves have a direct influence on frictional torque and bearing capacity through the change of DMAR along the radial direction.The friction pairs with different groove structures have oscillation phenomena at the engagement steady-state boundary.Furthermore,a step-less speed regulation experimental setup is established to verify the correctness of the proposed model.It is demonstrated that the axial engagement force and the speed regulation curve predicted by the proposed method are in good agreement with the experimental data.The results could effectively predict the engagement dynamic characteristics.The numerical relationship among the structure parameters,the mechanical properties of friction pairs,and the speed regulation characteristics of the system are established through the proposed model,which lays a theoretical foundation for the structure design of friction plates and optimization of step-less speed regulation performance. 展开更多

Dual three-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(DTP-PMSM)is a nonlinear,strongly coupled,high-order multivariable system.In today’s application scenarios,it is difficult for traditional PI controllers to meet the requirements of fast response,high accuracy and good robustness.In order to improve the performance of DTP-PMSM speed regulation system,a control strategy of PI controller based on genetic algorithm is proposed.Firstly,the basic mathematical model of DTP-PMSM is established,and the PI parameters of DTP-PMSM speed regulation system are optimized by genetic algorithm,and the modeling and simulation experiments of DTP-PMSM control system are carried out by MATLAB/SIMULINK.The simulation results show that,compared with the traditional PI control,the proposed algorithm significantly improves the performance of the control system,and the speed output overshoot of the GA-PI speed control system is smaller.The anti-interference ability is stronger,and the torque and double three-phase current output fluctuations are smaller. 展开更多

However, they are hard to be obt... In the energy regulation based varibable-speed electrohydraulic drive system, the supply energy and the demanded energy, which will affect the control performance greatly, are crucial. However, they are hard to be obtained via conventional methods for some reasons. This paper tries to a new route: the definitive numerical values of the supply energy and the demanded energy are not required, except for their relationship which is called energy state. A three-layer back propagation(BP) neural network was built up to act as an energy analysis unit to deduce the energy state. The neural network has three inputs: the reference displacement, the actual displacement of cylinder rod and the system flowrate supply. The output of the neural network is energy state. A Chebyshev type II filter was designed to calculate the cylinder speed for the estimation of system flowrate supply. The training and testing samples of neural network were collected by the system accurate simulation model. After off-line training, the neural network was tested by the testing data. And the testing result demonstrates that the designed neural network was successful. Then, the neural network acts as the energy analysis unit in real-time experiments of cylinder position control, where it works efficiently under square-wave and sine-wave reference displacement. The experimental results validate its feasibility and adaptability. Only a position sensor and some pressure sensors, which are cheap and have quick dynamic response, are necessary for the system control. And the neural network plays the role of identifying the energy state. 展开更多

The speed regulation problem with only speed measurement is investigated in this paper for a permanent magnet direct current(DC)motor driven by a buck converter.By lumping all unknown matched/unmatched disturbances and uncertainties together,the traditional active disturbance rejection control(ADRC)approach provides an intuitive solution for the problem under consideration.However,for such a higher-order disturbed system,the increase of poles for the extended state observer(ESO)therein will lead to drastically growth of observer gains,which causes severe noise amplification.This paper aims to propose a new model-based disturbance rejection controller for the converter-driven DC motor system using output-feedback.Instead of estimating lumped disturbances directly,a new observer is constructed to estimate the desired steady state of control signal as well as errors between the real states and their desired steady-state responses.Thereafter,a controller with only speed measurement is proposed by utilizing the estimates.The performance of the proposed method is tested through experiments on dSPACE.It is further shown via numerical calculations and experimental results that the poles of the observer within the proposed control approach can be largely increased without significantly increasing magnitude of the observer gains. 展开更多

The output regulation approach has effectively addressed the speed tracking and disturbance rejection problem of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM).Although accurate speed tracking under time-varying load torque disturbance has been achieved,the number of disturbance frequencies should be known.In this paper,an adaptive observer-based error feedback control method is proposed,which can solve the speed tracking control problem of PMSM subject to completely unknown multi-frequency sinusoidal load torque disturbance,requiring only the upper bound of the number of disturbance frequencies.The design steps of this method can be divided into the following three steps.In step one,a filtered transformation is applied to convert the observer canonical form of the error system and the transformed exosystem into an adaptive observer form.In step two,an adaptive observer is designed to estimate the unknown parameters of the exosystem and states of the adaptive observer form.In step three,an adaptive observer-based error feedback controller is designed to solve this control problem.The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by experimental results. 展开更多

为满足电动汽车应用领域对驱动电动机大转矩、宽调速范围、高效率等的需求,结合漏磁可控型永磁(flux leakage controllable permanent magnet,FLCPM)电动机高速低磁通、重载高磁通的特性,提出一种基于交轴磁场调节的弱磁电流最小调速控... 为满足电动汽车应用领域对驱动电动机大转矩、宽调速范围、高效率等的需求,结合漏磁可控型永磁(flux leakage controllable permanent magnet,FLCPM)电动机高速低磁通、重载高磁通的特性,提出一种基于交轴磁场调节的弱磁电流最小调速控制策略.利用交轴磁场重构弱磁控制时i_(d)、i_(q)电流分配,有限调节永磁体漏磁磁通,间接实现气隙磁通控制.在此基础上,为减小漏磁通变化对电流分配计算及去磁电流计算的影响,引入最小i_(s)电流弱磁约束条件与在线调节判断,优选i_(d)、i_(q)分配量,提高弱磁运行效率.进行FLCPM电动机的i_(q)电流弱磁控制和最小弱磁电流控制试验,并分析了其电流大小、调速特性和弱磁效率特点.结果表明:在FLCPM电动机上的传统i_(d)电流弱磁存在过度弱磁,且最小弱磁电流控制拥有更小的is电流、更宽的调速范围和更高的弱磁效率,i_(s)电流最高减少了2.83%、弱磁效率最高可达91.0%. 展开更多

针对玉米精量播种机播种时存在粒距不均匀的问题,从播种原理角度进行分析,得出此问题与排种器清种间隙、导种管运种、种子落地精确定位、排种器转速控制和行驶速度检测不准确等因素有关。为此,主要对其中的排种器清种间隙和排种器转速... 针对玉米精量播种机播种时存在粒距不均匀的问题,从播种原理角度进行分析,得出此问题与排种器清种间隙、导种管运种、种子落地精确定位、排种器转速控制和行驶速度检测不准确等因素有关。为此,主要对其中的排种器清种间隙和排种器转速控制进行优化改进。设计了一种清种间隙自动调节装置,使不同粒径的种子实现单粒排种;通过计算地轮滑移距离,修正其打滑时检测的行驶速度;设计了清土装置,维持地轮直径稳定,使行驶速度检测误差小、排种均匀性提高。将改进前后清种装置分别对3种种子进行排种试验,改进后在降低漏播指数的同时重播指数也分别降低0.3、0.5和0.8个百分点;改进后装置对不同种子适应性良好,有较好的作业效果。在干土地、湿土地和沙土地上分别进行田间试验,结果表明:改进后播种机的株距变异系数分别为15.9%、16.8%、17.3%,比改进前分别降低了1.5、2.5、2.6个百分点,播种均匀性有所提高。 展开更多

为了提升永磁同步电机(PMSM)矢量控制系统的动态响应性能,提出一种基于准随机分形搜索优化算法(QRFS)与误差修正双幂次趋近律协同设计的滑模控制策略。首先,采用一种基于误差修正双幂次趋近律(EDPRL)的速度滑模控制器,以提升电机控制系... 为了提升永磁同步电机(PMSM)矢量控制系统的动态响应性能,提出一种基于准随机分形搜索优化算法(QRFS)与误差修正双幂次趋近律协同设计的滑模控制策略。首先,采用一种基于误差修正双幂次趋近律(EDPRL)的速度滑模控制器,以提升电机控制系统的精度和稳定性;其次,用人类进化优化算法(HEOA)和角蜥优化算法(HLOA)分别优化速度滑模控制器的参数,进行对比分析;最后,利用准随机分形搜索优化算法对速度滑模控制器中的参数进行优化,获得最优参数值,并进行仿真。仿真和实验结果表明,与HEOA-EDPRL和HLOA-EDPRL策略相比,QRFS-EDPRL控制策略在系统响应速度和抗干扰能力方面表现更为优越,超调量从9.2%降至0.6%、动态响应时间缩短了81.5%、负载转矩变化下的转速降低幅度减少了28.2%。验证了所提出的QRFS-EDPRL控制方法的合理性和有效性。 展开更多

Through simulations, the Kalman filter method based on minimum wheel speed shows improved accuracy, in addition to better adaptivity to vehicle reference speed. A pair of complementary sliding surfaces are constructed. And the Taylor series is used to estimate the steady state error of CSMC system to optimize the parameter value for the boundary layer of the saturation function without artificial settings. This proposed CSMC strategy is applied to the speed regulation in permanent magnet synchronous motor with lump uncertainties. The experimental results show that the proposed CSMC strategy can obtain an optimal value for the boundary layer parameter effectively suppressing the chattering and keep an excellent system performance. 展开更多

A Graded Speed Control Method for Cyborg Rats Based on Electrical Stimulation of the Cuneiform Nucleus

The precise movement speed regulation is a key factor to improve the control effect and efficiency of the cyborg rats.However,the current stimulation techniques cannot realize the graded control of the speed.In this study,we achieved the multi-level speed regulation of cyborg rats in the large open field and treadmill by specifically targeting the Cuneiform Nucleus(CnF)of the Mesencephalic Locomotor Region(MLR).Detailed,we measured the influence of each stimulation parameter on the speed control process which included the real-time speed,accelerated speed,response time,and acceleration period.We concluded that the pulse period and the pulse width were the main determinants influencing the accelerated speed of cyborg rats.Whereas the amplitude of stimulation was found to affect the response time exhibited by the cyborg rats.Our study provides valuable insights into the regulation of rat locomotion speed and highlights the potential for utilizing this approach in various experimental settings. 展开更多

This paper presents a contribution related to the control of nonlinear variable-speed marine current turbine(MCT)without pitch operating below the rated marine current speed.Given that the operation of the MCT can be divided into several operating zones on the basis of the marine current speed,the system control objectives are different for each zone.To deal with this issue,we develop a new control approach based on a linear quadratic regulator with variable generator torque.Our proposed approach enables the optimization of the rotational speed of the turbine,which maximizes the power extracted by the MCT and minimizes the transient loads on the drivetrain.The novelty of our study is the use of a real profile of marine current speed from the northern coasts of Morocco.The simulation results obtained using MATLAB Simulink indicate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed control approach on the electrical and mechanical parameters with the variations of marine current speed. 展开更多
