Application of Gauss-Newton method in magnetic dipole model

With the increasing accuracy requirements of satellite magnetic detection missions,reducing low-frequency noise has become a key focus of satellite magnetic cleanliness technology.Traditional satellite magnetic simulation methods have matured in static magnetic dipole simulations,but there is still significant room for optimization in the simulation and computation of low-frequency magnetic dipole models.This study employs the Gauss-Newton method and Fourier transform techniques for modeling and simulating low-frequency magnetic dipoles.Compared to the traditional particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm,this method achieves significant improvements,with errors reaching the order of10^(-13)%under noise-free conditions and maintaining an error level of less than 0.5%under 10%noise.Additionally,the use of Fourier transform and the Gauss-Newton method enables high-precision magnetic field frequency identification and rapid computation of the dipole position and magnetic moment,greatly enhancing the computational efficiency and accuracy of the model. 展开更多

MEMS swallowable capsule is a novel technology in the non-invasive surgery. This technology provides a way to diagnose directly into the deep intestinal where the traditional invasive technology implemented, such as X-Ray, endoscopy. It is a key for us to locate and track the position of a MEMS capsule in clinical applications. To solve this problem, we implemented a magnetic sensor module based on the scalar form of the magnetic dipole model,which was designed with very small size (5.2 * 2. 1 * 1.2 em) and easy to assemble to satisfy the system requirement. Here we discuss in detail the principle of magnetic dipole model, rules of selecting sensor and functions of the module. Some trials are established to test the characteristic of the module. The results of the Cm experiment demonstrates that the module follows the rules of the new magnetic dipole model form. 展开更多

In the case of three-layered(air-seawater-seabed)model,the analytical expressions of the static electric and static magnetic field produced by the static electric dipole located in seawater were derived by using the mirror image theory.Combined with the distribution of the underwater electric potential measured in laboratory,an electric dipole model for physical scale of ship was established and the distribution characteristics of an actual ship' s corrosion related magnetic field were obtained.Based on established models,theoretical analysis and calculation were made to catch out the distribution characteristics of static magnetic field related with corrosion and anticorrosion,which can not be measured directly in seawater.The results show that the static magnetic field related with corrosion and anticorrosion is a kind of noteworthy obstacle signal for degaussed ships. 展开更多

We present an analysis of the color-dipole picture for determination of the gluon density at low-x which is obtained from the Altarelli-Martinelli equation by expansion at distinct points of expansion.The dipole cross-sections with respect to the improved saturation model of Bartels–Golec-Biernat–Kowalski are obtained in a wide range of transverse sizes r and compared with the Golec-Biernat-Ẅu sthoff model.We find that the model gives a good description of the dipole cross-section at large r which confirms saturation and matches the perturbative QCD result at a small r due to the significant role of the running of the gluon distribution. 展开更多

We apply an AdS/CFT-inspired color-dipole model which contains only three free parameters to describe the HERA data for the inclusive structure function F 2 at small Bjorken-x and virtuality.We found that the saturation scale in our AdS/CFT-based parameterization varies in the range of 1 ÷ 3 GeV becoming independent of energy/Bjorken-x at very small x.This leads to the prediction of x-independence of the structure functions at very small x.With the fitted parameters in our model,the predictions for F 2,longitudinal structure function,charm structure function and total photo-production cross-sections in the kinematic regions of future experiments can be given. 展开更多

A precise magnetic modeling method for scientific satellites based on a self-attention mechanism and Kolmogorov-Arnold Networks

As the complexity of scientific satellite missions increases,the requirements for their magnetic fields,magnetic field fluctuations,and even magnetic field gradients and variations become increasingly stringent.Additionally,there is a growing need to address the alternating magnetic fields produced by the spacecraft itself.This paper introduces a novel modeling method for spacecraft magnetic dipoles using an integrated self-attention mechanism and a transformer combined with Kolmogorov-Arnold Networks.The self-attention mechanism captures correlations among globally sparse data,establishing dependencies b.etween sparse magnetometer readings.Concurrently,the Kolmogorov-Arnold Network,proficient in modeling implicit numerical relationships between data features,enhances the ability to learn subtle patterns.Comparative experiments validate the capability of the proposed method to precisely model magnetic dipoles,achieving maximum Root Mean Square Errors of 24.06 mA·m^(2)and 0.32 cm for size and location modeling,respectively.The spacecraft magnetic model established using this method accurately computes magnetic fields and alternating magnetic fields at designated surfaces or points.This approach facilitates the rapid and precise construction of individual and complete spacecraft magnetic models,enabling the verification of magnetic specifications from the spacecraft design phase. 展开更多

Based on the magnetic interaction energy, using derivative of the magnetic energy density, a model is proposed to compute the magnetic-induced shear modulus of magnetorheological elastomers. Taking into account the influences of particles in the same chain and the particles in all adjacent chains, the traditional magnetic dipole model of the magnetorheological elastomers is modified. The influence of the ratio of the distance etween adjacent chains to the distance between adjacent particles in a chain on the magnetic induced shear odulus is quantitatively studied. When the ratio is large, the multi-chain model is compatible with the single chain model, but when the ratio is small, the difference of the two models is significant and can not be neglected. Making certain the size of the columns and the distance between adjacent columns, after constructing the computational model of BCT structures, the mechanical property of the magnetorheological elastomers composed of columnar structures is analyzed. Results show that, conventional point dipole model has overrated the magnetic-induced shear modulus of the magnetorheological elastomers. From the point of increasing the magnetic-induced shear modulus, when the particle volume fraction is small, the chain-like structure exhibits better result than the columnar structure, but when the particle volume fraction is large,the columnar structure will be better. 展开更多

The dipole–dipole interaction model is employed to investigate the angular dependence of the levitation and lateral forces acting on a small magnet in an anti-symmetric magnet/superconducting sphere system. Breaking the symmetry of the system enables us to study the lateral force which is important in the stability of the magnet above a superconducting sphere in the Meissner state. Under the assumption that the lateral displacement of the magnet is small compared to the physical dimensions of our proposed system, analytical expressions are obtained for the levitation and lateral forces as a function of the geometrical parameters of the superconductor as well as the height, the lateral displacement, and the orientation of the magnetic moment of the magnet. The dependence of the levitation force on the height of the levitating magnet is similar to that in the symmetric magnet/superconducting sphere system within the range of proposed lateral displacements. It is found that the levitation force is linearly dependent on the lateral displacement whereas the lateral force is independent of this displacement. A sinusoidal variation of both forces as a function of the polar and azimuthal angles specifying the orientation of the magnetic moment is observed. The relationship between the stability and the orientation of the magnetic moment is discussed for different orientations. 展开更多

Comprehensive radiation characteristics of polarized antenna are crucial in creating practical channel coefficients for next generation wireless communication system designs.Being currently supported within3 D geometry-based stochastic channel models(GSCM),field patterns are technically obtained by chamber measurement(or by its best fitting).However,in some channel related performance analysis scenarios,design insight can be crystallized better by starting the derivations with theoretical co-polarization and cross-polarization components.Specifically,these two components are mathematically linked with field patterns through the proposed polarization projection algorithm.In this manuscript,we focus on revealing the transformation criterion of polarization states between the antenna plane and the propagation plane.In practice,it makes retrieving the field patterns by electromagnetic computation possible.Meanwhile,the impact imposed by distinct antenna orientations is geometrically illustrated and consequently incorporated into the proposed algorithm.This will further facilitate flexible performance evaluation of related radio transmission technologies.Our conclusions are verified by the closed-form expression of the dipole field pattern(via an analytical approach) and by chamber measurement results.Moreover,we find that its 2D degenerative case is aligned with the definitions in 3^(rd) generation partnership project(3GPP)technical report 25.996.The most obvious benefit of the proposed algorithm is to significantly reduce the cost on generating channel coefficients in GSCM simulation. 展开更多

Detecting stress concentration, especially critical stress state leading to structure damage or failure, is one of the most important tasks of equipment diagnosis. Metal magnetic memory technique needs further research to evaluate stress concentration quantitatively due to ambiguous physical mechanism, though it has potential to detect early defects in ferromagnetic materials. Mild Q235 steel defective specimens in demagnetization state were loaded in tension up to visible necking, with magnetic memory signals measurement made at increasing stress levels. Magnetic signals varied greatly under first several loadings and subsequently tended to stability in the elastic region, which showed that the magnetization always approaches the anhysteretic magnetization curve and was explained by the theory of magnetomechanical effect. In the plastic stage, an abnormal wave occurred in the stress concentration zone and its height value was sensitive to plastic deformation levels and dependent on the distance between the probe and defect, in accordance with the simulation results based on the magnetic dipole model. Different magnetic signal characteristics in the elastic-plastic region indicate that the magnetic memory technique can identify macroyielding and early damage, which is of profound significance for ensuring safe operation of equipment in service. 展开更多

The influence of the magnetization of a soft magnetic sphere on the surrounding magnetic field is measured and characterized.The interaction force between two soft magnetic particles is directly measured using an ultra precision load sensor in uniform and non-uniform magnetic fields. The interaction force largely follows an inverse fourth power law as a function of separation distance between particle centers. At small distances,the effect of magnetization of one particle on the magnetization of its adjacent particle causes the attractive(repulsive) force to be larger(smaller) than that predicted by the inverse fourth power law.The theoretical prediction based on a modified dipole model,that takes into account the coupling effect of the magnetization among soft magnetic particles,gives excellent agreement with the measured force in a uniform magnetic field.The interaction force under a non-uniform applied magnetic field can be reasonably predicted using the dipole-dipole interaction model when the local magnetic field is used to determine the magnetization. 展开更多

The dipole segment is a good alternative model to study qualitative dynamical properties near dumbbell-shaped asteroids. In this paper, the dipole segment model and its equilibrium points are simply introduced. The stability of the two triangular equilibrium points of the system is numerically examined. Next, periodic orbits are presented around the dipole segment model in two different cases, in which triangular equilibria are linearly stable and unstable,respectively. New types of periodic orbits are illustrated in detail, including their orbital shapes, periods and the Jacobi integral.The orbital stability, topological classification and bifurcations of these orbits are also analyzed with numerical continuations. 展开更多

Periodic orbits are crucial in facilitating the understanding of the dynamical behavior of elongated asteroids.As a specific type of periodic orbit,resonant orbits can enrich the orbit design method of deep-space exploration missions.Herein,a dipole segment model for investigating the orbital dynamics of elongated asteroids is briefly introduced.A new numerical algorithm named the modified path searching method for identifying spin-orbit resonant orbits is proposed.Using the modified path searching and pseudo-arclength continuation methods,four spin-orbit resonant families for asteroid 2063 Bacchus are obtained.The distribution of eigenvalues and stability curves for the four resonant families are presented.In particular,some critical points corresponding to period-doubling and tangent bifurcations appear in the stability curves. 展开更多
