Industry-wide practices include the use of geophysical and similar technologies to determine depth and location, and 2D as-built plans integrated with GIS databases for information management. The feasibility of incorporating 3D BIM models of the subsurface to replace the 2D plans to improve visualization and data management is examined in this paper. Obtaining an accurate image of the underground infrastructure would help minimize excavation accidents due to equipment-utility collisions and prevent property damage. Further, the inclusion of automated data collection and sharing features realized through BIM technology can enhance operations of smart cities. The research methodology consists of a state-of-the-art review of the current underground utility management systems, combined with statistical analysis of survey responses received from utility providers and one-call centers in the U.S. Three categories of utility practices are identified based on the level of digital technology integration. It is found that a vast majority of utility firms have adopted GIS databases with 2D plans, depth and other asset information, while a smaller percentage of providers have achieved full GIS-BIM integration, incorporating a wide range of asset data. Future progress on broader implementation appears to be constrained by the digital literacy of personnel and high costs of technology acquisition and application. 文摘Green development and the low-carbon economy in China have operated as parallel, distinct systems, with interactions limited to energy, industry, and technology.Guided by the concept of high-quality growth, green development—centered on sustainability principles and green targets—has focused on green living, production, industrial optimization,system-building,land-use planning, and global ecological objectives, thereby forming a uniquely Chinese green development framework.Similarly, the low-carbon economy, structured around carbon emission goals, development drivers, models of growth, management mechanisms, and international carbon responsibilities, has also developed a distinct framework.Introducing digital intelligence as a new dimension can serve as a coupling point to foster interactive mechanisms between green development and the low-carbon economy. These interactive mechanisms are reflected through smart green cloud collaboration systems and intelligent low-carbon governance platforms, using digital intelligence technology to enhance the synergy between green and low-carbon efforts in energy, carbon management, technology, innovation, governance, and the economy.Through analyzing these mechanisms, and returning to sustainability principles while responding to China's modern development philosophy,a uniquely Chinese theory and framework for green and low-carbon development can be constructed.
文摘Introduction Percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),as a primary treatment for coronary artery disease, has made significant strides in both technology and clinical practice since its inception.However,long-term management of post-PCI patients, particularly restenosis prevention and disease progression control, continues to face numerous challenges[1].Insufficient patient adherence to lifestyle interventions and secondary prevention, coupled with low utilization of cardiac rehabilitation, leads to a sustained increase in the risk of postoperative adverse cardiac events[2,3].The rapid development of digital health technologies(DHTs)offers opportunities to overcome these persistent difficulties. This editorial reviewed the latest applications and multiple challenges, and suggested future directions of DHTs in post-PCI patients(Figure 1).
文摘Digital technology and the digital economy are at the forefront of the global technological revolution and industrial transformation. They are profoundly reshaping the international landscape of competition and restructuring the world economy.Major countries and economies around the globe are increasingly competing on digital technology and the digital economy, striving to secure a strategic advantage in the new round of international competition and establish a strong position in the evolving international order.
文摘With the advancement of digital technology, new technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing have gradually permeated higher education, leading to fundamental changes in teaching and learning methods. Therefore,in the process of reforming and developing higher education,it is essential to take digital technology empowering the optimization of the education industry as a breakthrough, focusing on five key areas:the construction of smart classrooms, the digital integration of teaching resources, the development of personalized learning support systems, the reform of online-offline hybrid teaching, and the intelligentization of educational management. This paper also examines the experiences, challenges, and shortcomings of typical universities in using digital technology to improve teaching quality, optimize resource allocation, and innovate teaching management models. Finally, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to facilitate the smooth implementation of digital transformation in higher education institutions.

文摘Despite broad consensus on the importance of enterprise digital transformation, significant discrepancies persist regarding its actual effects. This divergence stems primarily from two key measurement challenges:(1)a lack of clear and consistent definitions of enterprise digital transformation,and(2)a lack of rigorous and accurate measurement methodologies. These shortcomings lead to research findings that are incomparable, difficult to replicate, and often conflicting. To effectively address the aforementioned challenges, this paper employs machine learning and large language models(LLMs)to construct a novel set of indicators for enterprise digital transformation. The work begins by manually annotating sentences from annual reports of listed companies in China from 2006 to 2020.These labeled sentences are then used to train and fine-tune several machine learning models, including LLMs.The ERNIE model, demonstrating the best classification performance among the models tested,is selected as the sentence classifier to predict sentence labels across the full text of the annual reports, ultimately constructing the enterprise digital transformation metrics. Both theoretical analysis and multiple data cross-validations demonstrate that the metrics developed in this paper are more accurate than existing approaches.Based on these metrics, the paper empirically examines the impact of enterprise digital transformation on financial performance. Our findings reveal three key points:(1)enterprise digital transformation significantly enhances financial performance, with big data,AI,mobile internet, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things(IoT)all playing a significant role;however, blockchain technology does not show a significant effect;(2)the significant positive effect of digital transformation on financial performance is primarily observed in firms with weaker initial financial performance;and(3)enterprise digital transformation improves financial performance mainly through enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. This research has practical implications for promoting enterprise digital transformation and fostering high-quality economic development.
文摘In the era of the digital economy, traditional supply chain finance models face challenges such as information fragmentation, inefficient processes, and insufficient credit transmission, necessitating digital transformation. This study focuses on Kweichow Moutai Group, systematically analyzing its innovative practices in supply chain finance and examining the mechanisms through which digital technologies enhance core enterprise credit empowerment, improve supply chain collaboration efficiency, and optimize risk management. The research reveals that Moutai Group has transformed supply chain finance from unilateral credit granting to ecosystem-based credit sharing by establishing an IoT-enabled asset verification platform, developing smart contract-driven bill financing systems, and building a blockchain-based multi-party credit alliance. This model significantly lowers financing barriers for small and medium-sized suppliers while creating new value chain growth points through data assetization strategies. Finally, the study proposes further improvements from the perspectives of technical standardization and adaptive regulatory frameworks.
