Industry-wide practices include the use of geophysical and similar technologies to determine depth and location, and 2D as-built plans integrated with GIS databases for information management. The feasibility of incorporating 3D BIM models of the subsurface to replace the 2D plans to improve visualization and data management is examined in this paper. Obtaining an accurate image of the underground infrastructure would help minimize excavation accidents due to equipment-utility collisions and prevent property damage. Further, the inclusion of automated data collection and sharing features realized through BIM technology can enhance operations of smart cities. The research methodology consists of a state-of-the-art review of the current underground utility management systems, combined with statistical analysis of survey responses received from utility providers and one-call centers in the U.S. Three categories of utility practices are identified based on the level of digital technology integration. It is found that a vast majority of utility firms have adopted GIS databases with 2D plans, depth and other asset information, while a smaller percentage of providers have achieved full GIS-BIM in<span style="font-family:Verdana;">tegration, incorporating a wide range of asset data. However, the current knowledge of the relationship between DTs and supply chain resilience (SCR) is insufficient. This study draws on information processing theory to develop a serial mediation model to address this deficiency. We analyze a sample set consisting of 264 Chinese manufacturers. The empirical results reveal that digital supply chain platforms (DSCPs), as well as supply chain traceability (SCT) and supply chain agility (SCA), fully mediate the favorable association between DTs and SCR. Specifically, the four significant indirect paths indicated that firms can improve SCR only if they use DTs to directly or indirectly improve SCT and SCA (through DSCPs). Our study contributes to the literature on resilience by examining the possible mechanism of mediation through which DTs influence SCR. The findings also offer essential insights for firms to modify their digital strategies and thrive in a turbulent environment.展开更多

文摘Green development and the low-carbon economy in China have operated as parallel, distinct systems, with interactions limited to energy, industry, and technology.Guided by the concept of high-quality growth, green development—centered on sustainability principles and green targets—has focused on green living, production, industrial optimization,system-building,land-use planning, and global ecological objectives, thereby forming a uniquely Chinese green development framework.Similarly, the low-carbon economy, structured around carbon emission goals, development drivers, models of growth, management mechanisms, and international carbon responsibilities, has also developed a distinct framework.Introducing digital intelligence as a new dimension can serve as a coupling point to foster interactive mechanisms between green development and the low-carbon economy. These interactive mechanisms are reflected through smart green cloud collaboration systems and intelligent low-carbon governance platforms, using digital intelligence technology to enhance the synergy between green and low-carbon efforts in energy, carbon management, technology, innovation, governance, and the economy.Through analyzing these mechanisms, and returning to sustainability principles while responding to China's modern development philosophy,a uniquely Chinese theory and framework for green and low-carbon development can be constructed.
文摘Introduction Percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),as a primary treatment for coronary artery disease, has made significant strides in both technology and clinical practice since its inception.However,long-term management of post-PCI patients, particularly restenosis prevention and disease progression control, continues to face numerous challenges[1].Insufficient patient adherence to lifestyle interventions and secondary prevention, coupled with low utilization of cardiac rehabilitation, leads to a sustained increase in the risk of postoperative adverse cardiac events[2,3].The rapid development of digital health technologies(DHTs)offers opportunities to overcome these persistent difficulties. This editorial reviewed the latest applications and multiple challenges, and suggested future directions of DHTs in post-PCI patients(Figure 1).

文摘Digital technologies (DTs) can assist businesses in coping with supply chain (SC) disruptions caused by unpredictability, such as pandemics. The findings also offer essential insights for firms to modify their digital strategies and thrive in a turbulent environment.
