This shall be done under the following categories of analysis： snapshot, organization, socialization, reception, privacy, and copyrights in digital photography. The study explores the forms of digital photography production, technical problems of photographic management and the final uses that digital photographers give to their photos in terms of web tools 2.0, mobile telephones and social networks. Digital photography technology, compact cameras, mobile phones with cameras, specialized websites in photography and the lnternet generate new forms of production and emerging styles of digital photographic socialization. The study is carried out using a defined sample of university students, those digital natives who create and use digital photography.展开更多
Since graphic communications are increasingly dependent on digital and computer-aided processes,Information and Communication Technologies(ICT)skills and digital competence thus become important training and education...Since graphic communications are increasingly dependent on digital and computer-aided processes,Information and Communication Technologies(ICT)skills and digital competence thus become important training and education subjects for Graphic Communication majored students at the college and university levels.In order to establish effective curriculums for these students,it is essential to first establish a set of digital competence indicators as a general guidance to evaluate tl^e students'ICT skills and their Internet application abilities.However,relevant research studies in the field of digital competence are rare and so far there are no experts or scholars putting efforts together in compiling and promoting the application of a viable Digital Competence Standard.Qualitative analyses such as document analysis,collection of experts'inputs and judgments,in-depth interviews,etc.were carried out in this study to develop a comprehensive definition for Digital Competence.The resulted eight digital competence domains and sixteen aptitudes could be used as the major framework to establish a set of Digital Competence Indicators,hopefully these indicators in turn can be used as a standard to improve the college curriculums,advance the teaching materials,elevate the learning interests as well as providing a leveled platform in testing and evaluating the students'digital competence on Graphic Communications related subjects.展开更多
