Based on algebraic graph theory and matrix theory, a simple linear state feedback controller is designed to synchronize the master chaotic system and the slave chaotic systems with a time- varying communication topology connection. The exponential stability of the closed-loop networked synchronization error system is guaranteed by applying Lyapunov stability theory. The derived novel criteria are in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are easy to examine and tremendously reduce the computation burden from the feedback matrices. This paper provides an alternative networked secure communication scheme which can be extended conveniently. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed networked synchronization method.展开更多

In this paper, we use the nonlinear coupled method to implement the synchronization of two coupled map lattices. Through the appropriate separation of the linear term from the nonlinear term of the spatiotemporal chaotic system, we set the nonlinear term as the coupling function and then we can achieve the synchronization of two coupled map lattices. After that, we implement the secure communication of digital image using this synchronization method. Then, the discrete characteristics of the nonlinear coupling spatiotemporal chaos are applied to the discrete pixel of the digital image. After the synchronization of both the communication parties, the receiver can decrypt the original image. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed program.展开更多

The scheme first changes an ordinary RGB digital image with 8 bits into unrecognizable disorder codes and then transforms the disorder codes into an RGB digital image with 16 bits for transmitting. A receiver uses a non-symmetric key to verify the authentication of the received data origin, and decrypts the ciphertext. The scheme can encrypt and decz:Fpt most formatted digital RGB images recognized by computers, and recover the plaintext almost without any errors. Among all possible machine cooperation controls, to synchronize tremendous machines in a timing-efficient brings one of the greatest challenge and serves as the foundation for any other network control policies. In this paper, we propose a linear-time synchronization protocol in large M2M networks. Specifically, a closed-form of synchronization rate is provided by developing the statistical bounds of the second smallest eigenvalue of the graph Laplacian matrix. These bounds enable the efficient control of network dynamics, facilitating the timing synchronization in networks. The CBS protocol uses broadcasting rather than pairwise communication to accomplish synchronization. In the CBS scheme, the initial offset of local clocks can be successfully eliminated by the operation of clapping nodes, which leads to significant improvement in synchronization accuracy. The CBS protocol was implemented on the TelosB platform and its performance was evaluated in a variety of experiments. The results demonstrate that the CBS protocol outperforms the current state-of-the-art approach, the Flooding Time Synchronization Protocol (FTSP), in both single-hop and multi-hop scenarios in terms of synchronous precision and energy consumption. In multi-hop scenarios, the CBS algorithm keeps about 50% of its synchronization errors within 1 ms. In comparison, the FTSP keeps less than 7% of its synchronization errors within this range. In both single-hop and multi-hop scenarios, the CBS protocol is over 3.2 times more energy-efficient than the FTSP.展开更多

If the usual method working well in a single-mode laser system is applied to a multi-mode laser system, the memory effect of the two nearest digits can cause high rate of mistakes when the digits are decoded through the subtraction of receiver output from the transmittal. By introducing the deviations of two nearest maximum and minimum fluctuationsof the signal to decode the digit, the message can be decoded correctly. Also, this communication method does not critically depend on the quality of the chaotic synchronization of the two multi-mode lasers.展开更多

By introducing the time derivative of intensity difference between the receiver (carrier) and the transmittal (carrier plus signal), several signals can be encoded into a single pulse. If one signal contains several binary bits, two-dimensional messages in the form of a matrix can be encoded and transmitted on a single pulse. With these improvements in secure communications using chaotic multi-mode lasers, not only the transmission rate can be increased but also the privacy can be enhanced greatly.展开更多

文摘Integration of digital twin(DT)and wireless channel provides new solution of channel modeling and simulation, and can assist to design, optimize and evaluate intelligent wireless communication system and networks. With DT channel modeling, the generated channel data can be closer to realistic channel measurements without requiring a prior channel model, and amount of channel data can be significantly increased.Artificial intelligence(AI)based modeling approach shows outstanding performance to solve such problems. In this work,a channel modeling method based on generative adversarial networks is proposed for DT channel, which can generate identical statistical distribution with measured channel.Model validation is conducted by comparing DT channel characteristics with measurements, and results show that DT channel leads to fairly good agreement with measured channel. Finally,a link-layer simulation is implemented based on DT channel. It is found that the proposed DT channel model can be well used to conduct link-layer simulation and its performance is comparable to using measurement data. The observations and results can facilitate the development of DT channel modeling and provide new thoughts for DT channel applications,as well as improving the performance and reliability of intelligent communication networking.

文摘The Clapping and Broadcasting Synchronization (CBS) algorithm, which is specifically designed for large-scale sensor networks with low communication overhead and high synchronization accuracy, is introduced. In both single-hop and multi-hop scenarios, the CBS protocol is over 3.2 times more energy-efficient than the FTSP.

文摘The digital communication in a system of two multi-mode solid state chaotic lasers is investigated theoretically. Also, this communication method does not critically depend on the quality of the chaotic synchronization of the two multi-mode lasers.

文摘This paper studies the secure and accurate clock synchronization problem for sensor networks with time-varying delays and malicious attacks.A novel clock synchronization scheme based on the attack detection mechanism, attack compensation, and maximum consensus protocol is proposed. The proposed scheme starts with the detection of the malicious attacks and the clock data under attacks is eliminated. On the basis, software clock parameters are updated so that all the nodes in the network can have the same software skew and offset,so the clock synchronization can be achieved.Furthermore,it is theoretically proved that the proposed scheme can achieve the attack detection correctly, and further can guarantee a secure and accurate clock synchronization. In addition, extensive simulations are also conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

文摘The digital communication of two-dimensional messages is investigated when two solid state multi-mode chaotic lasers are employed in a master-slave configuration. With these improvements in secure communications using chaotic multi-mode lasers, not only the transmission rate can be increased but also the privacy can be enhanced greatly.
