In order to solve the problems of too large mass,too complex structure and poor flexibility of the 6 DOF manipulator,the topological optimization theory based on variable density method is applied to the 6-DOF manipulator,the topology optimization of the main structural components of the manipulator is carried out with the help of the finite element software ANSYS,and the optimized structure is simplified according to the density distribution of the units and the requirements of manufacturability.the results are compared and analysed by static mechanics.It shows that the whole mass of the 6-DOF manipulator is reduced by 47.23%without changing the original mechanical properties after topological optimization,and the optimized model can meet the requirements of manufacturability,the optimization effect is signifcant,which can be used as a reference for the structure optimization of the 6-DOF manipulator. 展开更多

The key points are as follows. (i) The theoretical method for the determination of the weight parameter in the energy coupling equation of transition region in multiscale model is given via constructing underdetermined equations. (ii) By applying the developed mathematical method, the weight parameters have been given and used to treat some problems in homogeneous charge density systems, which ,'ire directly related with multiscale science. (iii) A theoretical algorithm has also been presented for treating non-homogeneous systems of charge density. The key to the theoretical computational methods is the decomposition of the electrostatic energy in the total energy of density functional theory for probing the spanning characteristic at atomic scale, layer by layer, by which the choice of chemical elements and the defect complex effect can be understood deeply. Mapping coalmine goaf using transient electromagnetic method and high density resistivity method in Ordos City, China 被引量:17

The research about subsurface characteristics by using transient electromagnetic method(TEM) and high density resistivity method(HDRM) were already conducted in Ordos. The objective of this research is to detect coalmine goaf areas based on rock resistivity. The data processing using wavelet transform, three point smoothing, RES2 DINV and Maxwell processing software to obtain 2D resistivity structure. The results showed that the layers with maximum resistivity values(30e33 U m on Line 1, 30e31 U m on Line 2, 32e40 U m on Line3) are founded at station 1e7, and 14e20 on Line 1,13e18 on Line 2, and 8e13 and 16e20 on Line 3 which is predicted as goaf layer, and the minimum resistivity values(20e26 U m of TEM, 45e75 U m of HDRM) at the other layers. This resistivity difference was caused by the geology and characteristics of the study area which is located close by the cleugh with rich coal, so the goaf area distinguishable with aquifer layer and coal seam. The results were also significant accidents and serious destruction of ecological environment. 展开更多

Topology Optimization of Orthotropic Materials Using the Improved Element-Free Galerkin (IEFG) Method

In this paper,we develop an advanced computational framework for the topology optimization of orthotropic materials using meshless methods.The approximation function is established based on the improved moving least squares(IMLS)method,which enhances the efficiency and stability of the numerical solution.The numerical solution formulas are derived using the improved element-free Galerkin(IEFG)method.We introduce the solid isotropic microstructures with penalization(SIMP)model to formulate a mathematical model for topology opti-mization,which effectively penalizes intermediate densities.The optimization problem is defined with the numerical solution formula and volume fraction as constraints.The objective function,which is the minimum value of flexibility,is optimized iteratively using the optimization criterion method to update the design variables efficiently and converge to an optimal solution.Sensitivity analysis is performed using the adjoint method,which provides accurate and efficient gradient information for the optimization algorithm.We validate the proposed framework through a series of numerical examples,including clamped beam,cantilever beam,and simply supported beam made of orthotropic materials.The convergence of the objective function is demonstrated by increasing the number of iterations.Additionally,the stability of the iterative process is analyzed by examining the fluctuation law of the volume fraction.By adjusting the parameters to an appropriate range,we achieve the final optimization results of the IEFG method without the checkerboard phenomenon.Comparative studies between the Element-Free Galerkin(EFG)and IEFG methods reveal that both methods yield consistent optimization results under identical parameter settings.However,the IEFG method significantly reduces computational time,highlighting its efficiency and suitability for orthotropic materials. 展开更多

This paper proposed an efficient research method for high-dimensional uncertainty quantification of projectile motion in the barrel of a truck-mounted howitzer.Firstly,the dynamic model of projectile motion is established considering the flexible deformation of the barrel and the interaction between the projectile and the barrel.Subsequently,the accuracy of the dynamic model is verified based on the external ballistic projectile attitude test platform.Furthermore,the probability density evolution method(PDEM)is developed to high-dimensional uncertainty quantification of projectile motion.The engineering example highlights the results of the proposed method are consistent with the results obtained by the Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS).Finally,the influence of parameter uncertainty on the projectile disturbance at muzzle under different working conditions is analyzed.The results show that the disturbance of the pitch angular,pitch angular velocity and pitch angular of velocity decreases with the increase of launching angle,and the random parameter ranges of both the projectile and coupling model have similar influence on the disturbance of projectile angular motion at muzzle. 展开更多

A new analysis framework based on probability density evolution method(PDEM)and its Chebyshev collocation solution are introduced to predict the dynamic response and short-term extreme load of offshore wind turbine(OWT)towers subjected to random sea state.With regard to the stochastic responses,random function method is employed to generate samples of sea elevation,the probability density evolution equation(PDEE)is solved to calculate time-variant probability density functions of structural responses.For the probabilistic load estimation,a FAST model of NREL 5MW offshore turbine is established to obtain samples of bending moment at the tower base.The equivalent extreme event theory is used to construct a virtual stochastic process(VSP)to assess the short-term extreme load.The results indicate that the proposed approach can predict time-variant probability density functions of the structural responses,and shows good agreement with Monte Carlo simulations.Additionally,the predicted short-term extreme load can capture the fluctuation at the tail of the extreme value distribution,thus is more rational than results from the typical distribution models.Overall,the proposed method shows good adaptation,precision and efficiency for the dynamic response analysis and load estimation of OWT towers. 展开更多

Janus films with asymmetric physical/chemical properties have attracted con siderable attention due to their promising applications in personal thermal management,electronic skin s,sensors,actuators,etc.However,traditional methods for fabricating Janus films conventionally need the assistance of an interface or auxiliary equipment,which are usually complex and time-consuming.Herein,flexible poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)/graphene oxide(GO)/h-BN(recorded as PVA/GO/h-BN)Janus films with thermally,optically,and electrically anisotropic properties are fabricated by a simple density deposition self-assem bly method,which just utilizes the density difference between GO and h-BN during water evaporation.Experimental results show that the two sides of the acquired Janus films have obvious asymmetric characteristics.In the original state of the PVA/GO/h-BN Janus films,the thermal conductivity of the GO side(10.06 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))is generally lower than that of the h-BN side(10.48W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)).But after GO is reduced,the thermal conductivity of the rGO side reaches 12.17 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),surpassing that of the h-BN side.In addition,the relative reflectance of the h-BN side of Janus film is also significantly higher than that of the rGO side,and the su rface resistance difference between the two sides is about 4 orders of magnitude.The prepared PVA/GO/h-BN Janus films show great application potential in human thermal management,light conversion switches,and electronic skins.This study provides a simple and versatile strategy for fabricating Janus films with multifunctional(such as thermal,optical,and electrical)anisotropies. 展开更多

Effects of Different Density-reducing Methods on Canopy Microenvironment, Tree Growth and Fruit Quality in Closed Apple Orchard

In order to optimize and transform closed mature apple orchards with standard rootstocks and improve the quality of fruit,taking a closed Red Fuji apple orchard as the test object,the effects of different density-reducing methods(deinterlacing,removing every other plant in each row,removing every other plant every other row)on the canopy microenvironment,tree structure,leaf photosynthesis and fruit quality were studied.The results showed that different density-reducing methods significantly reduced the orchard coverage and increased the crown transmittance.Among them,the deinterlacing treatment was the best in improving the population structure of the closed orchard,as it reduced the orchard coverage rate by 55.68 percentage points and the canopy transmittance by 82.38 percentage points,compared with the control(CK).Different density-reducing methods all could significantly reduce the branch amount in the closed orchard and optimized the branch composition.The three density-reducing methods decreased the number of branches per plant by 18.96%,12.41%and 19.58%,respectively,compared with the CK.And compared with the CK,the proportion of short branches and leafy branches to the total branches was increased by 17.13%,14.27%and 7.37%,respectively,and the proportion of long branches and developmental branches to the total branches was decreased by 24.47%,18.04%and 10.79%,respectively.The effects of the different density-reducing methods on the temperature,relative light intensity,SPAD and leaf photosynthetic rate in canopies all followed an order of deinterlacing>removing every other plant in each row>removing every other plant every other row>CK,while those on the relative humidity showed an order of deinterlacing>removing every other plant in each row>removing every other plant every other row>CK,while those on the relative humidity showed an order of deinterlacing<removing every other plant in each row<removing every other plant every other row<CK.The average single fruit weight(238.3 g),coloring index(89.2),smoothness index(83.2),soluble solid content(15.1%)and high quality fruit rate(82.4%)of the deinterlacing treatment were higher than those of other treatments,and the values were 18.2%,11.4%,5.85%,26.9%and 25.2%higher than the CK,respectively.The use of dein ̄terlacing to reduce density is the best for improving the microenvironment of closed apple orchards and improving the photosynthetic efficiency and fruit quality. 展开更多

Based on the theoretical analysis of the flow field, electrical conductivity of rocks, the electrical field, the paper simulates the coupling relationship between the water saturation in soil and the apparent resistivity distribution. It combines the Richards equation, the Archie formula and the Laplace equation. The experiment simulates the potential field data by the Wenner setting in electrical exploration on a two-layer geologic model with continuous rainfall during 5 days, which shows that the effective saturation in soil is increasing with the rainfall time, while the apparent resistivity is decreasing. This can provide a theoretical basis for the analyzing the rainfall infiltration and porosity of the soil by using high-density electrical method in the future. </div> 展开更多

To obtain the precise calculation method for the peak energy density and energy evolution properties of rocks subjected to uniaxial compression(UC)before the post-peak stage,particularly at s0.9sc(s denotes stress and sc is the peak strength),extensive UC and uniaxial graded cyclical loading-unloading(GCLU)tests were performed on four rock types.In the GCLU tests,four unloading stress levels were designated when σ<0.9σc and six unloading stress levels were designated forσ≥0.9σc.The variations in the elastic energy density(ue),dissipative energy density(ud),and energy storage efficiency(C)for the four rock types under GCLU tests were analyzed.Based on the variation of ue whenσ≥0:9σc,a method for calculating the peak energy density was proposed.The energy evolution in rock under UC condition before the post-peak stage was examined.The relationship between C0.9(C atσ≥0:9σc)and mechanical behavior of rocks was explored,and the damage evolution of rock was analyzed in view of energy.Compared with that of the three existing methods,the accuracy of the calculation method of peak energy density proposed in this study is higher.These findings could provide a theoretical foundation for more accurately revealing the failure behavior of rock from an energy perspective. 展开更多

Various methods are available for calculating the TOC of shale reservoirs with logging data, and each method has its unique applicability andaccuracy. So it is especially important to establish a regional experimental calculation model based on a thorough analysis of their applicability.With the Upper Ordovician Wufeng Fm-Lower Silurian Longmaxi Fm shale reservoirs as an example, TOC calculation models were built by useof the improved DlgR, bulk density, natural gamma spectroscopy, multi-fitting and volume model methods respectively, considering the previousresearch results and the geologic features of the area. These models were compared based on the core data. Finally, the bulk density method wasselected as the regional experimental calculation model. Field practices demonstrated that the improved DlgR and natural gamma spectroscopymethods are poor in accuracy;although the multi-fitting method and bulk density method have relatively high accuracy, the bulk density methodis simpler and wider in application. For further verifying its applicability, the bulk density method was applied to calculate the TOC of shalereservoirs in several key wells in the Jiaoshiba shale gas field, Sichuan Basin, and the calculation accuracy was clarified with the measured dataof core samples, showing that the coincidence rate of logging-based TOC calculation is up to 90.5%-91.0%. 展开更多

Using density functional methods,some properties were studied such as the energies and compositions of frontier molecular orbitals and the atomic charges,which are related to the reactive behavior of thioureas containing different N-substituent groupings.The calculation results indicate that the N-substituent groupings have significant effect on the flotation performance of thiourea collectors.The order of electron-donating ability is N-propyl-N'-benzyl-thiourea(PBZYTU)>N-propyl-N'-ethyl-thiourea (PETU)>N-propyl-N'-allyl-thiourea(PALTU)>>N-propyl-N'-acetyl-thiourea(PACTU)>N-propyl-N'-ethoxycarbonyl-thiourea (PECTU)>N-propyl-N'-benzoyl-thiourea(PBZOYTU),and the order of feedback-electron-accepting ability is PBZOYTU> PACTU>PECTU>>PALTU>PETU>PBZYTU.This implies that PBZOYTU,PACTU or PECTU can react with copper atoms having(t2g) 6 (eg) 3Cu(II)or t 6e 4Cu(I)configuration on the surfaces of copper sulfide minerals through normal covalent bond and back donation covalent bond,and exhibit excellently collecting performance for copper sulfide minerals.These are consistent with the experimental data reported in the literatures. 展开更多

The joint probability density fimction (PDF) of different structural responses is a very important topic in the stochastic response analysis of nonlinear structures. In this paper, the probability density evolution method, which is successfully developed to capture the instantaneous PDF of an arbitrary single response of interest, is extended to evaluate the joint PDF of any two responses. A two-dimensional partial differential equation in terms of the joint PDF is established. The strategy of selecting representative points via the number theoretical method and sieved by a hyper-ellipsoid is outlined. A two-dimensional difference scheme is developed. The free vibration of an SDOF system is examined to verify the proposed method, and a flame structure exhibiting hysteresis subjected to stochastic ground motion is investigated. It is pointed out that the correlation of different responses results from the fact that randomness of different responses comes from the same set of basic random parameters involved. In other words, the essence of the probabilistic correlation is a physical correlation. 展开更多

We propose a method for calculating the nonradiative decay rates for polyatomic molecules including anharmonic effects of the potential energy surface(PES)in the Franck-Condon region.The method combines the n-mode repre-sentation method to construct the ab initio PES and the nearly exact time-dependent density matrix renormalization group method(TD-DMRG)to simulate quantum dynamics.In addition,in the framework of TD-DMRG,we further develop an algorithm to calculate the final-state-resolved rate coefficient which is very useful to analyze the contribution from each vibrational mode to the transition process.We use this method to study the internal conversion(IC)process of azulene after taking into account the anharmonicity of the ground state PES.The results show that even for this semi-rigid molecule,the intramode anharmonicity enhances the IC rate significantly,and after considering the two-mode coupling effect,the rate increases even further.The reason is that the anharmonicity enables the C-H vibrations to receive electronic energy while C-H vibrations do not contribute on the harmonic PES as the Huang-Rhys factor is close to 0. 展开更多

In Bayesian multi-target fltering,knowledge of measurement noise variance is very important.Signifcant mismatches in noise parameters will result in biased estimates.In this paper,a new particle flter for a probability hypothesis density(PHD)flter handling unknown measurement noise variances is proposed.The approach is based on marginalizing the unknown parameters out of the posterior distribution by using variational Bayesian(VB)methods.Moreover,the sequential Monte Carlo method is used to approximate the posterior intensity considering non-linear and non-Gaussian conditions.Unlike other particle flters for this challenging class of PHD flters,the proposed method can adaptively learn the unknown and time-varying noise variances while fltering.Simulation results show that the proposed method improves estimation accuracy in terms of both the number of targets and their states. 展开更多

A reliable assessment of wave energy resources must be performed before they can be exploited. Compared with wave model, altimeter can provide more accurate in situ observations for ocean wave which can be as a novel method for wave energy assessment.The advantage of altimeter data is to provide accurate significant wave height observations for wave. In order to develop characteristic and advantage of altimeter data and apply altimeter data to wave energy assessment, in this study, we established an assessing method for wave energy in local sea area which is dedicated to altimeter data.This method includes three parts including data selection and processing, establishment of evaluation indexes system and criterion of regional division. Then a case study of Northwest Pacific was performed to discuss specific application for this method. The results show that assessing method in this paper can assess reserves and temporal and spatial distribution effectively and provide scientific references for the siting of wave power plants and the design of wave energy convertors. 展开更多

Optimized calculations of 209 polychlorinated diphenyl ethers (PCDEs) and diphenyl ethers were carried out at the B3LYP/6-31G^* level with the Gaussian 98 program. Based on the theoretical linear solvation energy relationship (TLSER) model, the obtained structural parameters were taken as theoretical descriptors to establish the novel QSPR model for predicting aqueous solubility (-lgSw) of PCDEs. The model obtained in this work contains two variables: mean molecular polarizability (a) and the most positive partial charge on a hydrogen atom (qH^+), of which RE = 0.9606 and SD = 0.32. And the results of cross-validation test also show that the model exhibits optimum stability and better predictive power. Moreover, the predictive power of the new model is better than that of MCIs method. 展开更多
