Our focus herein is on developing an effective taxonomy for the simultaneous and real-timemanagement of supply and demand chains.More specifically,the taxonomy is developed in terms ofits underpinning components and its research foci.From a components perspective,we first considerthe value chain of supplier,manufacturer,assembler,retailer,and customer,and then develop aconsistent set of definitions for supply and demand chains based on the location of the customer orderpenetration point.From a research perspective,we classify the methods that are employed in themanagement of these chains,based on whether supply and/or demand are flexible or fixed.Interestingly,our taxonomy highlights a very critical research area at which both supply and demandare flexible,thus manageable.Simultaneous management of supply and demand chains sets the stagefor mass customization which is concerned with meeting the needs of an individualized customermarket.Simultaneous and real-time management of supply and demand chains set the stage forreal-time mass customization(e.g.,wherein a tailor first laser scans an individual's upper torso andthen delivers a uniquely fitted jacket within a reasonable period,while the individual is waiting).Thebenefits of real-time mass customization can not be over-stated as products and services becomeindistinguishable and are co-produced in real-time,resulting in an overwhelming economicadvantage. 展开更多

This paper takes the total yield of products that need refrigerated transport as the impact factors of transport aggregate of cold chain logistics,such as meat,aquatic products,quick-frozen noodle,fruits,vegetables,dairy,and medicine.Through selecting the consumption data of urban residents on transported products via cold chain in Jiangsu Province from 2005 to 2000 as sample,this paper establishes grey prediction model GM(1,1) of cold chain logistics demand and uses DPS7.05 software for test,to predict the cold chain logistics demand of urban residents in Jiangsu Province during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period.The results show that in the period 2010-2015,the cold chain logistics demand of urban residents in Jiangsu Province is 1 151.589 1,1 185.136 6,1 219.661 3,1 255.191 8,1 291.757 3,1 329.388 1 t respectively;in the period 2005-2010,the cold chain logistics demand of urban residents in Jiangsu Province increases at annual growth rate of 3.9%;in the period 2011-2015,the growth rate declines to some extent,increasing slowly at rate of 2.9%. 展开更多

Contract is a common and effective mechanism for supply chain coordination,which has been studied extensively in recent years.For a supply chain network model,contracts can be used to coordinate it because it is too ideal to obtain the network equilibrium state in practical market competition.In order to achieve equilibrium,we introduce revenue sharing contract into a supply chain network equilibrium model with random demand in this paper.Then,we investigate the influence on this network equilibrium state from demand disruptions caused by unexpected emergencies.When demand disruptions happen,the supply chain network equilibrium state will be broken and change to a new one,so the decision makers need to adjust the contract parameters to achieve the new coordinated state through bargaining.Finally,a numerical example with a sudden demand increase as a result of emergent event is provided for illustrative purposes. 展开更多

Supply Chain Demand Forecast Based on SSA-XGBoost Model

Supply chain management usually faces problems such as high empty rate of transportation, unreasonable inventory management, and large material consumption caused by inaccurate market demand forecasts. To solve these problems, using artificial intelligence and big data technology to achieve market demand forecasting and intelligent decision-making is becoming a strategic technology trend of supply chain management in the future. Firstly, this paper makes a visual analysis of the historical data of the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU);Then, the characteristic factors affecting the future demand are constructed from the storage level, product level, historical usage of SKU, etc;Finally, a supply chain demand forecasting algorithm based on SSA-XGBoost model has proposed around three aspects of feature engineering, parameter optimization and model integration, and is compared with other machine learning models. The experiment shows that the forecasting result of SSA-XGBoost forecasting model is highly consistent with the actual value, so it is of practical significance to adopt this forecasting model to solve the supply chain demand forecasting problem. 展开更多

In a two-stage supply chain composed of one supplier and one retailer,the supply chain coordination mechanism in a fuzzy continuous demand environment is researched.A positive triangular fuzzy number is used to model the external market demand.Using the method of fuzzy cut sets theory,both fuzzy decentralized and centralized decision-making processes are analyzed,and another model of fuzzy return contract is proposed to help coordinate such supply chain.It is shown that in fuzzy environment there exists a unique solution of the retailer's optimal order quantity,the double marginalization problem can be solved by providing different tactics for wholesale pricing and return pricing,and the fuzzy expected profit of each actor can be expected to improve in the return contract.Finally,a numerical example is given to illustrate the models and the solution-seeking process. 展开更多

创新粮食供需匹配机制,是缓解现阶段我国粮食供需紧平衡、降低局部区域粮食供应风险和隐患的现实需求,更是畅通粮食国内大循环、提升粮食产业链供应链韧性的必要举措。基于粮食供需交易实践和区块链技术优势,构建基于区块链的粮食供需... 创新粮食供需匹配机制,是缓解现阶段我国粮食供需紧平衡、降低局部区域粮食供应风险和隐患的现实需求,更是畅通粮食国内大循环、提升粮食产业链供应链韧性的必要举措。基于粮食供需交易实践和区块链技术优势,构建基于区块链的粮食供需匹配机制,重点针对多源异构粮食供需数据构建规范化要素表达方式、设计基于要素相似度的粮食供需匹配算法并给出该算法智能合约实现的关键步骤,最后通过算例验证该匹配机制的科学性与有效性。该匹配机制不仅提供粮食供需数据规范化的语义和结构表达方式,而且能有效解决由时间、地域和信息不对称等因素造成的粮食供需匹配难题,同时通过智能合约的自动执行和动态调节可在无第三方参与的情况下达到可信状态,实现粮食供需交易的高效对接。模拟测试表明,基于区块链的粮食供需匹配机制能显著提高匹配效率,每笔订单平均匹配时间为1.2 s,可同时处理约2250条供需信息单,减少匹配决策的时间成本。 展开更多

A closed-loop supply chain network equilibrium problem is examined,which consists of mutual competitive manufacturers with production capacity constraints and retailers with fuzzy market demands,mutual competitive collectors as well as a binding price ceiling of the commodities.By utilizing the credibility measure of fuzzy event,variational inequality and Lagrange dual theory,the optimum behaviors of manufactures,retailers,collectors and consumers are described.Therefore,the supply chain network equilibrium model is established.Numerical examples were given to illustrate the impact of production capacity constraints and price ceiling on the network equilibrium pattern.The results show that the shortage of commodities in consumer market will be more serious,the wholesale price of product and purchase price of waste products rise,the profits of retailers decrease,the profits of manufacturers and collectors increase as the government gradually reduce the binding price ceiling on competitive markets,and the trend will be more obvious in the existence of production capacity constraints at same time. 展开更多

The demand for natural resources, energy and food facing the contemporary perception of sustainability is imposing challenges to the productive sectors in accordance with market guidelines. In this context, the Brazilian agribusiness seeks to maintain external competitiveness and to satisfy growing domestic demands. In beef production, this competitiveness pervades traceability, food safety and sustainability. This article aims to identify the sustainability state of the art in agribusiness and characterize it within the Brazilian beef chain. Descriptive methodology, combining a literature review and a documentary data survey were adopted. An outline of the dimensions of agribusiness sustainability, drawn from benchmark practices, indicates that environmental, social and technological demands have become part of the industry's agenda. The data for beef cattle point to a growth in production but demonstrate that expansion has occurred in areas of environmental tension, which creates a demand for sustainability in the beef chain. A table of guidelines for sustainability demonstrates that although perceptions are not yet harmonized among the links in the whole beef chain, many of the technological guidelines for sustainable production may increase the producer's economic efficiency. In the Brazilian case, the increment of initiatives and dissemination of sustainable practices among the beef chain is desirable to provide a coordinated response of production, processing and distribution organizations facing market opportunities for sustainable livestock. 展开更多

Quantitative safety assessment of safety systems plays an important role in decision making at all stages of system lifecycle, i.e., design, deployment and phase out. Most safety assessment methods consider only system parameters, such as configuration, hazard rate, coverage, repair rate, etc. along with periodic proof-tests (or inspection). Not considering demand rate will give a pessimistic safety estimate for an application with low demand rate such as nuclear power plants, chemical plants, etc. In this paper, a basic model of IEC 61508 is used. The basic model is extended to incorporate process demand and behavior of electronic- and/or computer-based system following diagnosis or proof-test. A new safety index, probability of failure on actual demand (PFAD) based on extended model and demand rate is proposed. Periodic proof-test makes the model semi-Markovian, so a piece-wise continuous time Markov chain (CTMC) based method is used to derive mean state probabilities of elementary or aggregated state. Method to determine probability of failure on demand (PFD) (IEC 61508) and PFAD based on these state probabilities are described. In example, safety indices of PFD and PFAD are compared. 展开更多

迅猛发展的数字技术正成为引领经济发展的新动力,探讨数字化赋能实体经济已成为学界关注的重要话题。本文基于2007—2023年我国A股上市公司的企业-年度数据,以供应链供需波动为视角,探讨企业数字化对供应链韧性的影响及其作用机制。结... 迅猛发展的数字技术正成为引领经济发展的新动力,探讨数字化赋能实体经济已成为学界关注的重要话题。本文基于2007—2023年我国A股上市公司的企业-年度数据,以供应链供需波动为视角,探讨企业数字化对供应链韧性的影响及其作用机制。结果表明,企业数字化能显著提升供应链韧性,且经过系列稳健性检验后结果依然显著。机制检验表明,企业数字化主要通过提高供应链管理水平及企业创新能力来提升供应链韧性,且当企业处于竞争性行业或非高科技行业、属于国有企业、存在较稳定的供应链关系、位于市场化程度较高的地区时,企业数字化的供应链赋能效应更显著。建议从搭建数据驱动发展模式、打造“数链科技”型供应链、培育数字化龙头标杆企业和“生态链”“典范”等方面进一步提升企业供应链韧性。 展开更多

Demand forecasting and big data analytics in supply chain management are gaining interest.This is attributed to the wide range of big data analytics in supply chain management,in addition to demand forecasting,and behavioral analysis.In this article,we studied the application of big data analytics forecasting in supply chain demand forecasting in the automotive parts industry to propose classifications of these applications,identify gaps,and provide ideas for future research.Algorithms will then be classified and then applied in supply chain management such as neural networks,k-nearest neighbors,time series forecasting,clustering,regression analysis,support vector regression and support vector machines.An extensive hierarchical model for short-term auto parts demand assess-ment was employed to avoid the shortcomings of the earlier models and to close the gap that regarded mainly a single time series.The concept of extensive relevance assessment was proposed,and subsequently methods to reflect the relevance of automotive demand factors were discussed.Using a wide range of skills,the factors and co-factors are expressed in the form of a correlation characteristic matrix to ensure the degree of influence of each factor on the demand for automotive components.Then,it is compared with the existing data and predicted the short-term historical data.The result proved the predictive error is less than 6%,which supports the validity of the prediction method.This research offers the basis for the macroeconomic regulation of the government and the production of auto parts manufacturers. 展开更多

农产品供应链数字化转型是传统农产品供应链升级的关键路径,对于提升供应链流通效率、实现供应链高质量发展具有重要价值。以嵌入理论、TOE理论为基础构建理论模型,基于农业企业问卷调查数据,运用结构方程模型实证分析了农产品供应链数... 农产品供应链数字化转型是传统农产品供应链升级的关键路径,对于提升供应链流通效率、实现供应链高质量发展具有重要价值。以嵌入理论、TOE理论为基础构建理论模型,基于农业企业问卷调查数据,运用结构方程模型实证分析了农产品供应链数字化转型动力机制,提出了转型的组态路径。结果表明:链主企业可持续发展需求、断链风险和价值链调整等内部动力因素显著正向影响农产品供应链数字化转型,其中断链风险的影响最大;政策支持、市场竞争和数字技术发展等外部动力因素也显著正向影响农产品供应链数字化转型,其中数字技术发展的影响最明显。基于内外因素的组合影响,应用模糊集定性比较分析方法,提出了农产品供应链数字化转型的三种组态路径,即技术支撑下的“断链风险+价值链调整”推动型、技术支撑下的“断链风险+可持续发展需求”推动型以及政策支持和市场竞争驱动下的“内部因素”推动型组态路径,且每一种路径均体现了技术、风险、竞争、政策与可持续发展需求等要素的差异化组合。为保障农产品供应链数字化转型顺利进行,农业企业要加强断链风险评估、技术实施框架构建和长效机制建设,政府要强化顶层设计、提高政策的精准性。 展开更多

测度国内区域层面的产业链对外风险敞口,可以加深对产业链风险系统性和异质性的认知,不仅有助于统筹国内国际两个大局来保障产业链安全,而且可以推动新发展格局的构建。本文拓展构建了国内区域层面产业链对外风险敞口及其结构的测算方法... 测度国内区域层面的产业链对外风险敞口,可以加深对产业链风险系统性和异质性的认知,不仅有助于统筹国内国际两个大局来保障产业链安全,而且可以推动新发展格局的构建。本文拓展构建了国内区域层面产业链对外风险敞口及其结构的测算方法,利用2017年内嵌中国省份的全球多区域投入产出表,系统考察中国区域层面产业链对外风险敞口的典型特征及全球产业链重构的潜在影响,主要的发现有:第一,中国区域层面供给侧与需求侧的综合产业链对外风险敞口均主要由国际产业链间接联系所引发的隐性产业链对外风险敞口构成。第二,中国区域层面供给侧与需求侧的产业链对外风险敞口均主要集中在资本密集型和知识密集型制造业,而且资本密集型和知识密集型制造业的产业链风险主要产生自国际产业链的间接联系。第三,中国区域层面供给侧和需求侧产业链对外风险敞口的市场集中度均比较高,而且来源国主要集中在美日韩三国。第四,依靠“国内其他省份+RCEP伙伴国”和“国内其他省份+‘一带一路’沿线国家”替代中美产业链,可以缩小中国区域层面供给侧与需求侧的产业链对外风险敞口。 展开更多

面对百年未有之大变局,提高韧性是企业应对危机、逆势成长所需的关键能力。基于2010—2022年制造业A股上市公司数据,以智能制造产业政策为准自然实验,并利用双重差分法检验智能制造对企业韧性的影响。研究发现,智能制造显著提高了企业... 面对百年未有之大变局,提高韧性是企业应对危机、逆势成长所需的关键能力。基于2010—2022年制造业A股上市公司数据,以智能制造产业政策为准自然实验,并利用双重差分法检验智能制造对企业韧性的影响。研究发现,智能制造显著提高了企业韧性。机制检验表明,智能制造主要通过促进供应链多元化配置和优化供需匹配两个渠道提高企业韧性。异质性分析表明,对于非国有企业、内部控制水平较低企业、数字化水平较高企业,以及数字基础设施建设水平较高和市场化水平较高的地区,智能制造对企业韧性的影响更为显著。拓展分析发现,智能制造对企业发展具有积极的经济后果,可以提高企业经济绩效。 展开更多

基于特朗普政府“对等关税”政策的实施背景,系统分析其对全球产业链的结构性冲击与中国产业链重构路径。“对等关税”政策通过动摇多边贸易制度根基、扭曲全球要素配置、剥夺发展中国家产业升级权利、强制推进产业链本土化以及引发贸... 基于特朗普政府“对等关税”政策的实施背景,系统分析其对全球产业链的结构性冲击与中国产业链重构路径。“对等关税”政策通过动摇多边贸易制度根基、扭曲全球要素配置、剥夺发展中国家产业升级权利、强制推进产业链本土化以及引发贸易福利损失,加剧全球产业链的风险。面对此变局,中国需加快构建具有独立自主、安全韧性的“中国链”体系。这个体系具体呈现为5类形态:“中国生产—美国消费”刚需型全球产业链;“中国总部—海外非美生产基地—美国市场”纵向一体化全球产业链;中国主导的“非美市场依赖型”全球产业链;“中国总部—美国生产—全球销售”纵向一体化全球产业链;“依托国内统一大市场”的全球产业链集群。为此,需加快构筑“预阻—对冲—反制”多维度全方位的政策框架体系,以自主定向开放预阻美国进一步以科技战、贸易战为手段遏制中国发展空间,以做强国内大循环对冲美西方经济体的非对称竞争,以系统性的政策框架设计反制“对等关税”对中国产业链形成的负面效应。 展开更多
