The viscosity of material is considered at propagating crack-tip. Under the assumption that the artificial viscosity coefficient is in inverse proportion to power law of the plastic strain rate, an elastic-viscoplastic asymptotic analysis is carried out for moving crack-tip fields in power-hardening materials under plane-strain condition. A continuous solution is obtained containing no discontinuities. The variations of numerical solution are discussed for mode Ⅰ crack according to each parameter. It is shown that stress and strain both possess exponential singularity. The elasticity, plasticity and viscosity of material at crack-tip only can be matched reasonably under linear-hardening condition. And the tip field contains no elastic unloading zone for mode I crack. It approaches the limiting case, crack-tip is under ultra-viscose situation and energy accumulates, crack-tip begins to propagate under different compression situations. 展开更多

The COEC specimens present the lowest J—R curves in comparison with other three types of specimens. Based on the J—Q—M met hod, the constraint parame ter Q determined at the mid-plane in the through-thickness direction of the specimen is used to approximately quantify the threedimensional crack-tip constraint for COEC specimens. Combining with the previous experiments on J—R curves, the constraint-coirected J—R curves for SA-508 steel specimens are given, which may be used to predict the fracture toughness of actual cracked components in structural integrity assessment. 展开更多

Reproducing kernel particle Method (RKPM) is a meshless technology which has proven very useful for solving problems of elastic plastic fracture mechanics. The mode I plastic zone shape at the crack-tip in a work-hard ening material is obtained using RKPM. Ramberg-Osgood stress-strain relation is assumed and the crack-tip stress intensity factor (SIF) before and after formation of the plastic zone are examined. To impose the essential boundary conditions, penalty method is used. To construct the shape functions in the vicinity of the crack and crack-tip, both the diffraction and visibility criteria are employed. A comparison between two conventional treatments, visibility and diffraction, to crack discontinuity is conducted. The effects of different dilation parameters on SIF under plane-stress and plane-strain conditions are ~tudied. Results including plastic zone shape are compared with finite element method (FEM) to show the accuracy of RKPM. The main objective is to study the effects of different dilation parameters on SIF under plane stress and plane strain conditions and to obtain the mode I plastic zone shape at the crack-tip in a work hardening material using RKPM. 展开更多

The analysis and calculation show that at the crack tip the strain possesses logarithmic singularity (ln(R/r))(1/(n+1)) while the stress is like (ln(R/r))(-n/(n+1)), therefore the asymptotic behaviour of the elastic strain-softening viscoplastic field is revealed under the antiplane shear. 展开更多

The crack tip processes in copper under mode II loading have been simulated by a molecular dynamics method. The nucleation, emission, dislocation free zone (DFZ) and pile-up of the dislocations are analyzed by using a suitable atom lattice configuration and Finnis & Sinclair potential. The simulated results show that the dislocation emitted always exhibits a dissociated fashion. The stress intensity factor for dislocation nucleation, DFZ and dissociated width of partial dislocations are strongly dependent on the loading rate. The stress distributions are in agreement with the elasticity solution before the dislocation emission, but are not in agreement after the emission. The dislocation can move at subsonic wave speed (less than the shear wave speed) or at transonic speed (greater than the shear wave speed but less than the longitudinal wave speed), but at the longitudinal wave speed the atom lattice breaks down. 展开更多

高速列车转向架不同部位常采用不同强度铝合金材料进行设计,且采用焊接方式连接不同部件。当高速列车行驶在复杂路况时,转向架将承受拉伸过载作用,该拉伸过载会与焊接接头强度差异产生耦合叠加作用。因此,对转向架焊接结构件进行拉伸过... 高速列车转向架不同部位常采用不同强度铝合金材料进行设计,且采用焊接方式连接不同部件。当高速列车行驶在复杂路况时,转向架将承受拉伸过载作用,该拉伸过载会与焊接接头强度差异产生耦合叠加作用。因此,对转向架焊接结构件进行拉伸过载试验,研究拉伸过载作用下不同强度铝合金焊接接头的疲劳裂纹扩展行为和内在机制。采用柔度法测量拉伸过载作用下的裂纹扩展速率;用数字图像相关(Digital Image Correlation, DIC)技术分析了拉伸过载施加前后裂纹尖端塑性区的尺寸变化规律;采用扫描电子显微镜(Scanning Electron Microscope, SEM)观测了不同铝合金拉伸过载作用区域的断口形貌特征,用裂纹尖端塑性区尺寸变化和对应断口形貌特征解释了拉伸过载作用下的裂纹扩展行为和内在机制。结果表明,单次拉伸过载能降低疲劳裂纹扩展速率,延长疲劳寿命。分析结果表明,拉伸过载过程增大裂纹尖端塑性区,并钝化裂纹尖端,从而使疲劳裂纹扩展速率降低。材料强度越低,相同拉伸过载作用下,裂纹尖端变形越严重,迟滞效应越明显。焊接接头在拉伸过载作用下与母材试验结果保持一致,迟滞效应的强弱只取决于材料本身强度。 展开更多

火焰切割后局部钢材力学性能研究

当钢结构达到服役年限,或因使用功能调整需拆卸构件时,常采用火焰切割方式完成拆卸。在火焰切割的热作用下,构件热切割面的微观组织结构及力学性能会发生改变,若需将经该方式拆卸的构件再次利用,需对其火焰切割后钢材局部组织和力学性... 当钢结构达到服役年限,或因使用功能调整需拆卸构件时,常采用火焰切割方式完成拆卸。在火焰切割的热作用下,构件热切割面的微观组织结构及力学性能会发生改变,若需将经该方式拆卸的构件再次利用,需对其火焰切割后钢材局部组织和力学性能进行评估。文中对国产Q355B钢材分别开展了手工火焰切割及半自动切割机火焰切割试验,随后对两种切割方式下的热影响区宽度、金相组织进行观察分析,同时对母材和火焰切割热影响区的力学性能开展定量研究。结果表明:20 mm厚的Q355B钢材手工火焰切割后其热影响区宽度约为3.4 mm,半自动切割机火焰切割后其热影响区宽度约为3 mm;两种火焰切割方式对Q355B钢材的屈服强度、抗拉强度无显著影响,但会导致其应力-应变曲线的屈服平台缩短甚至消失;对热影响区Q355B钢材的韧脆转变温度几乎无影响,韧脆转变区略有减小,上、下平台吸收能均有小幅度提升,裂纹尖端张开位移(crack tip opening displacement,CTOD)特征值基本无变化。由此可知,经火焰切割的钢材其力学性能无显著下降,且具备较强的可再利用性,本研究为该类钢材火焰切割后的再利用提供了数据支撑。 展开更多

为了探讨珠光体重轨钢的微观组织对疲劳裂纹扩展速率的影响规律,明确钢轨疲劳裂纹扩展速率曲线Ⅰ(近门槛区)、Ⅱ(稳态扩展区)、Ⅲ(快速扩展区)区拐点处的应变与其断裂行为之间的关系。利用疲劳试验机对3种珠光体钢轨进行疲劳试验,并采用... 为了探讨珠光体重轨钢的微观组织对疲劳裂纹扩展速率的影响规律,明确钢轨疲劳裂纹扩展速率曲线Ⅰ(近门槛区)、Ⅱ(稳态扩展区)、Ⅲ(快速扩展区)区拐点处的应变与其断裂行为之间的关系。利用疲劳试验机对3种珠光体钢轨进行疲劳试验,并采用OM(光学显微镜)与SEM(扫描电镜)对其微观组织结构、珠光体片层特征、疲劳裂纹及断口形貌进行观测分析,通过应变仪测定疲劳裂纹扩展速率曲线Ⅰ/Ⅱ和Ⅱ/Ⅲ拐点处的应变值。结果表明,3种钢轨的珠光体片层间距分别为186.2、129.5、116.8 nm。在相同加载条件下,珠光体片层间距越小,钢轨的疲劳寿命越长,其断裂失效循环次数分别为6.7×10^(5)、7.05×10^(5)、7.7×10^(5)次;断口的近门槛区及稳态扩展区具有疲劳辉纹、解理台阶、河流花样的特征,其中稳态扩展区出现二次裂纹,3种钢轨的疲劳辉纹间距依次为325.8、236.6、162.4 nm,珠光体片层间距和疲劳辉纹间距均与疲劳寿命呈负相关,片层间距越大,疲劳裂纹扩展速率越快。应变试验结果显示,3种钢轨在Ⅰ/Ⅱ区拐点处应变值分别为0.115、0.163、0.484,而在Ⅱ/Ⅲ区拐点处应变值分别为0.254、0.400、0.616。较高的应变值反映了钢轨具有较高的应变能和更强的抗变形能力,可以阻碍延缓裂纹扩展;而较低的应变值对裂纹扩展有利。细化珠光体片层有利于提升珠光体钢轨的抗疲劳性能。 展开更多

重载铁路扣件弹条裂纹扩展与寿命预测

为研究重载铁路有砟轨道扣件系统中的弹条疲劳寿命,建立了车-轨-基础耦合动力分析模型与扣件系统分析模型;计算了不同轴质量情况下扣件处轨底位移时程曲线,并将其作为位移荷载施加于正常安装状态下的扣件系统模型中来分析弹条在服役状... 为研究重载铁路有砟轨道扣件系统中的弹条疲劳寿命,建立了车-轨-基础耦合动力分析模型与扣件系统分析模型;计算了不同轴质量情况下扣件处轨底位移时程曲线,并将其作为位移荷载施加于正常安装状态下的扣件系统模型中来分析弹条在服役状态下的力学特性;基于应变-寿命曲线、累计损伤理论与裂纹扩展理论,分析了弹条裂纹扩展过程中的受力情况及轴质量对弹条疲劳寿命的影响。研究结果表明:弹条在25 kN的螺栓预压力情况下达到正常安装状态,弹条中肢垂向位移为10.2 mm,扣压力为10.1 kN,且应力最大处位于弹条后弯肢处;轴质量的增加通过改变弹条的应力比来影响疲劳裂纹萌生寿命,随着轴质量的增加,弹条材料属性对萌生寿命的影响比重降低;轴质量在由27 t增加至40 t时疲劳裂纹萌生寿命逐渐减少,40 t轴质量时疲劳裂纹萌生寿命约为128万次,较35、30 t轴质量时分别减少约63%和95%,同时寿命的降低速率也逐渐变缓;裂纹在弹条内部扩展时方向会产生扭转,裂纹前端应力向四周呈放射性衰减,同时应力方向朝两侧呈张拉状;弹条裂纹在开裂初期扩展速率较慢,随着深度增加,扩展速率不断加快;弹条的疲劳裂纹扩展寿命与累计通过总质量随着轴质量的增大而减小,且裂纹扩展寿命低于裂纹萌生寿命。 展开更多

C形LNG储罐9Ni钢焊缝断裂韧性与裂尖拘束的关联研究

C形LNG储罐存在大量被视为薄弱环节的焊缝区域,所以对9Ni钢焊缝进行断裂评估至关重要。作为断裂评估的核心参数,需要准确获得材料的断裂韧性水平。由于断裂韧性与裂尖拘束状态密切相关,因此亟须探明断裂韧性与裂尖拘束的定量关系。文章基于细观损伤力学理论,建立单边缺口弯曲试件(SENB)的裂纹扩展阻力有限元模型,通过与试验结果进行对比分析,验证了有限元模型的准确性。采用裂尖张开位移δ(CTOD)及裂尖等效塑性应变区面积A_(p)作为断裂韧性及裂尖拘束的表征参数,研究了材料参数(硬化系数、强度匹配系数)和几何尺寸参数(裂纹深度、试件厚度)对材料断裂韧性及裂尖拘束的影响规律。利用ABAQUS二次开发技术建立9Ni钢焊缝试件断裂韧性和裂尖拘束的数值结果数据库,获取试件不同的裂尖拘束状态及对应的断裂韧性,构建9Ni钢焊缝断裂韧性与裂尖拘束的定量统一关联,准确获得9Ni钢焊缝的断裂韧性水平。研究表明:提高材料的硬化系数和焊缝的强度匹配系数,均能降低裂尖拘束度并提高焊缝的断裂韧性;增大裂纹深度和试件厚度均会提高裂尖拘束度并降低焊缝的断裂韧性;相较于裂纹深度,试件厚度对焊缝断裂韧性的影响程度低。拟合得到的关系式可准确描述9Ni钢焊缝断裂韧性与裂尖拘束的统一关联,能为C形LNG储罐的断裂评估时焊缝断裂韧性的确定提供工程参考。 展开更多
