In this study,we investigate the potential of mark-weighted angular correlation functions,which integrateβ-cosmic-web classification with angular correlation function analysis to improve cosmological constraints.Using SDSS DR12 CMASS-NGC galaxies and mock catalogs withΩ_(m)varying from 0.25 to 0.40,we assess the discriminative power of different statistics via the average improvement in chi-squared,ΔX^(2),across six redshift bins.This metric quantifies how effectively each statistic distinguishes between different cosmological models.Incorporating cosmic-web weights leads to substantial improvements.Using statistics weighted by the mean neighbor distance(Dnei)increasesΔX^(2)by approximately 40%–130%,while applying inverse mean neighbor distance weighting(1/Dnei)yields even larger gains,boostingΔX^(2)by a factor of 2–3 compared to traditional unweighted angular statistics.These enhancements are consistent with previous 3D clustering results,demonstrating the superior sensitivity of theβ-weighted approaches.Our method,based on thin redshift slices,is particularly suitable for slitless surveys(e.g.,Euclid,CSST)where redshift uncertainties limit 3D analyses.This study also offers a framework for applying marked statistics to 2D angular clustering. 展开更多

The dependence of chaos on two parameters of the cosmological constant and the self-interacting coefficient in the imaginary phase space for a closed Friedman- Robertson-Walker (FRW) universe with a conformally coupled scalar field, as the full understanding of the dependence in real phase space, is investigated numerically. It is found that Poincar6 plots for the two parameters less than 1 are almost the same as those in the absence of the cosmological constant and self-interacting terms. For energies below the energy threshold of 0.5 for the imaginary problem in which there are no cosmological constant and self-interacting terms, an abrupt transition to chaos occurs when at least one of the two parameters is 1. However, the strength of the chaos does not increase for energies larger than the threshold. For other situations of the two parameters larger than 1, chaos is weaker, and even disappears as the two parameters increase. 展开更多

In order t... We explore the problems of degeneracy and discreteness in the standard cosmological model(ΛCDM). We use the Observational Hubble Data(OHD) and the type Ia supernovae(SNe Ia) data to study this issue. In order to describe the discreteness in fitting of data, we define a factor G to test the influence from each single data point and analyze the goodness of G. Our results indicate that a higher absolute value of G shows a better capability of distinguishing models, which means the parameters are restricted into smaller confidence intervals with a larger figure of merit evaluation. Consequently, we claim that the factor G is an effective way of model differentiation when using different models to fit the observational data. 展开更多

With the rapid development of large scale sky surveys like the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), GAIA and LAMOST (Guoshoujing telescope), stellar spectra can be obtained on an ever-increasing scale. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate stel- lar atmospheric parameters such as Teff, log g and [Fe/H] automatically to achieve the scientific goals and make full use of the potential value of these observations. Feature selection plays a key role in the automatic measurement of atmospheric parameters. We propose to use the least absolute shrinkage selection operator (Lasso) algorithm to select features from stellar spectra. Feature selection can reduce redundancy in spectra, alleviate the influence of noise, improve calculation speed and enhance the robustness of the estimation system. Based on the extracted features, stellar atmospheric param- eters are estimated by the support vector regression model. Three typical schemes are evaluated on spectral data from both the ELODIE library and SDSS. Experimental results show the potential performance to a certain degree. In addition, results show that our method is stable when applied to different spectra. 展开更多

We constrain the Cardassian expansion models from the latest observa- tions, including the updated Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), which are calibrated using a cosmology independent method from the Union2 compilation of type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia). By combining the GRB data with the joint observations from the Union2 SNe Ia set, along with the results from the Cosmic Microwave Background radia- tion observation from the seven-year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe and the baryonic acoustic oscillation observation galaxy sample from the spectroscopic Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release. we find significant constraints on the model oarameters of the original Cardassian model ΩM0=0.282-0.014^0.015,n=0.03-0.05^+0.05 and n=-0.16-3.26^+0.25,β=0.76-0.58^+0.34 of the modified polytropic Cardassian model, which are consistent with the ACDM model in a l-or confidence region. From the reconstruction of the deceleration parameter q(z) in Cardassian models, we obtain the transition redshift ZT = 0.73 ± 0.04 for the original Cardassian model and ZT = 0.68 ± 0.04 for the modified polytropic Cardassian model. 展开更多

We have searched for the existence of the late time acceleration of the universe with string fluid as the source of matter in Bianchi-V space-time. To derive a deterministic solution, we choose the scale factor to be an increasing function of time that yields a time dependent deceleration parameter, representing a model which generates a universe showing a transition from an early decelerating phase to a recent accelerating phase. The study reveals that strings dominate the early universe and eventually disappear from the universe for sufficiently large times, i.e. in the present epoch. This picture is consistent with current astronomical observations. The physical behavior of the universe is discussed in detail. 展开更多

Some interesting results have been found with this form of the Hubble parameter to meet the possible negative value of the decelera- tion parameter (- 1/3≤ q 〈 0) as the current observations reveal. The coefficient of bulk viscosity ζ is assumed to be a simple linear function of the Hubble parameter H (i.e. ζ = ζ0 + ζ1H, where ζ0 and ζ1 are constants). The Einstein field equations are solved explicitly by using a law of varia- tion for the Hubble parameter, which yields a constant value of the deceleration pa- rameter. Effective extraction of data association rules can provide a reliable basis for classification of stellar spectra. The concept of stellar spectrum weighted itemsets and stellar spectrum weighted association rules are introduced, and the weight of a single property in the stellar spectrum is determined by information entropy. On that basis, a method is presented to mine the association rules of a stellar spectrum based on the weighted frequent pattern tree. Important properties of the spectral line are highlighted using this method. At the same time, the waveform of the whole spectrum is taken into account. The experimental results show that the data association rules of a stellar spectrum mined with this method are consistent with the main features of stellar spectral types. 展开更多

Direct constraint on cosmic neutrino mass using observational Hubble parameter data

In order to explore the properties of cosmic neutrinos, i.e. sum of the neutrino mass (∑mv) and the effective number of neutrino species (Neff), which affects the Hubble expansion rate H(z) and the power of observational Hubble parameter data (OHD) in constraining cosmological parameters under the ACDM model, we utilize OHD to constrain the properties of cosmic neutrinos and apply an accurate H(z) function with ∑ mv, and Neff. First, we simulate new OHD beyond the existing 43 OHD. According to the predictions of measurements of Ho (the current H(z) value), baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) peaks, Sandage-Loeb (SL) test and cosmic microwave background (CMB), we as-sume observational accuracy up to 2% and redshift 0 〈 z ~〈 5. With simulated H(z) data obtained from the fiducial model, we constrain the parameters including ∑ mv, and Neff. When all parameters are set free, ∑mv 〈 0.196eV (95%) and Neff = 2.984 ± 0.826 (68%) are obtained, and when fixing Neff as the standard baseline 3.046, we attain ∑ mv 〈 0.240 eV (95%). These constrained results are much tighter than the ones obtained by the current OHD, which makes the prospect of OHD in constraining cosmological parameters more promising as its accuracy and quantity grow. 展开更多

The effects of parametrization of the dark energy equation of state

We investigate in detail the influence of parametrizations of the dark energy equation of state on reconstructing dark energy geometrical parameters, such as the deceleration parameter q(z) and Om diagnostic. We use a type Ia supernova sample, baryon acoustic oscillation data, cosmic microwave background information along with twelve observational Hubble data points to constrain cosmological parameters. With the joint analysis of these current datasets, we find that the parametrizations of w(z) have little influence on the reconstruction result of q(z) and Ore. The same is true for the transition (cosmic deceleration to acceleration) redshift zt, for which we find that for different parametrizations of w(z), the best fitted values of zt are very close to each other (about 0.65). All of our results are in good agreement with the ACDM model. Furthermore, using the combination of datasets, we do not find any signal of decreasing cosmic acceleration as suggested in some recent papers. The results suggest that the influence of the prior w(z) is not as severe as one may anticipate, and thus we can, to some extent, safely use a reasonable parametrization of w(z) to reconstruct some other dark energy parameters (e.g. q(z), Ore) with a combination of datasets. 展开更多

A class of transient acceleration models consistent with Big Bang cosmology

Is it possible that the current cosmic accelerating expansion will turn into a decelerating one? Can this transition be realized by some viable theoretical model that is consistent with the standard Big Bang cosmology? We study a class of phenomeno- logical models with a transient acceleration, based on a dynamical dark energy with a very general form of equation of state Pde = αPde -- βpdem. It mimics the cosmolog- ical constant αde → const for a small scale factor a, and behaves as a barotropic gas with pde → α-3(α+1) with α 〉 0 for large a. The cosmic evolution of four models in the class has been examined in detail, and all yield a smooth transient acceleration. Depending on the specific model, the future universe may be dominated by either dark energy or by matter. In two models, the dynamical dark energy can be explicitly real- ized by a scalar field with an analytical potential V(O). Moreover, a statistical analysis shows that the models can be as robust as ACDM in confronting the observational data of Type Ia supernovae, cosmic microwave background (CMB) and baryon acoustic os- cillation. As improvements over previous studies, our models overcome the problem of over-abundance of dark energy during early eras, and satisfy the constraints on dark energy from WMAP observations of CMB. 展开更多

Light curve inversion of asteroid(585)Bilkis with Lommel-Seeliger ellipsoid method

The basic physical parameters of asteroids, such as spin parameters, shape and scattering parameters, can provide us with information on the formation and evolution of both the asteroids themselves and the entire solar system. In a majority of asteroids, the disk-integrated photometry measurement constitutes the primary source of the above knowledge. In the present paper, newly observed photometric data and existing data on(585) Bilkis are analyzed based on a Lommel-Seeliger ellipsoid model. With a Markov chain Monte Carlo(MCMC) method, we have determined the spin parameters(period, pole orientation)and shape(b/a, c/a) of(585) Bilkis and their uncertainties. As a result, we obtained a rotational period of 8.5738209 h with an uncertainty of 9×10^-7h, and derived a pole of(136.46°, 29.0°) in the ecliptic frame of J2000.0 with uncertainties of 0.67°and 1.1°in longitude and latitude respectively. We also derived triaxial ratios b/a and c/a of(585) Bilkis as 0.736 and 0.70 with uncertainties of 0.003 and 0.03 respectively. 展开更多

The effective field theory of dark energy(EFTofDE)provides a systematic and model-independent framework to study dark energy(DE)and modified gravity(MG)with one additional scalar degree of freedom.It can describe the known models such as Quintessence,k-essence,DGP,f(R),and Horndeski theories.In this work,we update constraints on EFTofDE by utilizing the most up-to-date public data including the Baryon Acoustic Oscillations(DESI DR2),CMB(Planck 2018 and ACT DR6),SNIa(DESY5),weak lensing(DESY3)and full-shape galaxy power(BOSS DR 12).We find with the ACDM background,general relativity(GR)is favored by the data,while with the w_(0)w_(a)CDM background,slight modification to GR is favored,but still consistent with GR within 1.5σ.We also find the significance level for dynamical DE is greatly reduced within EFTofDE compared to within GR,indicating the degeneracy between dynamical DE and MG. 展开更多

These methods usually contain deriva- tives with respect to observational data with noise. However, there can be large un- certainties when one estimates values with numerical differentiation, especially when noise is significant. We introduce a global numerical differentiation method, first for- mulated by Reinsch, which is smoothed by cubic spline functions, and apply it to the estimation of the transition redshift zt with a simulated expansion rate E(z) based on observational Hubble parameter data. Using the full spectrum fitting package UZySS, these spectra are reduced with single stellar population models and optimal age information from our selected sample is derived. With the decreasing age-redshift relation, four new observational H(z) data (OHD) points are obtained, which are H(z) = 69.0 ± 19.6 km s^-1 Mpc^-1 at z = 0.07, H(z) = 68.6± 26.2 km s^-1 Mpc^-1 at z = 0.12, H(z)=72.9 ± 29.6 km s^-1 Mpc^-1 at z = 0.2 and H(z)=88.8 ± 36.6 km s^-1 Mpc^-1 at z = 0.28, respectively. Combined with 21 other available OHD data points, the performance of the constraint on both flat and non-flat ACDM models is presented. 展开更多
