These syntheses involved...Before proposing an innovative process for the coproduction of ethyl and butyl acetates, the individual syntheses of ethyl acetate and butyl acetate by two different routes were first studied. These syntheses involved the reaction of ethanol or n-butanol with acetic acid or acetic anhydride in the presence of ion exchange resins: Amberlyst 15, Amberlyst 16, Amberlyst 36 and Dowex 50WX8. Kinetic and thermodynamic studies were performed with all resins. The lowest activation energy (Ea) value was obtained with Dowex 50WX8, which was identified as the best-performing resin, able to be reused at least in four runs without regeneration. The presence of water-azeotropes during the synthesis of ethyl acetate makes its purification difficult. A new strategy was adopted here, involving the use of ethanol and acetic anhydride as the starting material. In order to minimize acetic acid as co-product of this reaction, a novel two-step process for the coproduction of ethyl and butyl acetates was developed. The first step involves the production of ethyl acetate and its purification. Butyl acetate was produced in the second step: n-butanol was added to the mixture of acetic acid and the resin remaining after the first-step distillation. This process yields ethyl acetate and butyl acetate at high purity and shows an environmental benefit over the independent syntheses by green metrics calculation and life cycle assessment.展开更多
The extraction of coal measure gas has been shifted toward thin gas reservoirs due to the depletion of medium-thick gas reservoirs.The coproduction of coalbed gas,shale gas,and tight sandstone gas(called a multisuperp...The extraction of coal measure gas has been shifted toward thin gas reservoirs due to the depletion of medium-thick gas reservoirs.The coproduction of coalbed gas,shale gas,and tight sandstone gas(called a multisuperposed gas system)is a key low-cost technology for the enhancement of natural gas production from thin gas reservoirs in coal measure.As an emerging engineering exploitation technology at its early stage of development,gas coproduction confronts various engineering challenges in hydraulic fracturing,bottom-hole pressure regulation,well network arrangement,and extraction sequence.The current understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the gas coproduction from the multisuperposed gas system is not comprehensive enough.In this case,the previous achievements in the field of gas coproduction should be urgently reviewed to provide valuable guidance and recommendations for further development.This review first discusses the regional and spatial distribution characteristics and possible reservoir combinations of gas reservoirs in coal measure.Then,the basic properties of different reservoirs,engineering challenges,and interlayer interference are comparatively analyzed and discussed.The current simulation models for gas coproduction and potential future research directions are further explored.The results indicate that the coupling effects of reservoir heterogeneity,interwell interference,and geological structure for increasing coproduction prediction accuracy should be included in future simulation models for gas coproduction.Careful investigation is required to explore the mechanisms and their further quantifications on the effects of interlayer interference in gas coproduction.The fractal dimension as a scale can play an important role in the characterization of the gas and water transport in different reservoirs.The machine learning methods have tremendous potential to provide accurate and fast predictions for gas coproduction and interlayer interference.展开更多
The increased risk of chronic diseases has led to increasing importance of coarse foods in daily life,but the inclusion of new ingredients has a great degree of influence on the structural characteristics and sensory ...The increased risk of chronic diseases has led to increasing importance of coarse foods in daily life,but the inclusion of new ingredients has a great degree of influence on the structural characteristics and sensory qualities of the food.The effects of five different particle size variations on the physicochemical characteristics,dough,and steamed bread structure of Flaxseed-based milk coproduct(FMC)were investigated.As the particle size decreases,the structure of the dough becomes denser due to an increase in water retention capacity and dissolution capacity,weakening the competition for dough moisture and allowing for an increase in air-holding capacity.The reduction in particle size increased the specific volume of the steamed bread,a decrease in the spread ratio,and an optimization of hardness and elasticity,as well as an increase in consumer acceptance of the FMC steamed bread.However,it is not the smaller the particle size,the higher the quality of steamed bread,appropriate reduction of particle size can improve the quality of steamed bread.In addition,the addition of FMC reduces fat digestion.Therefore,the present study proposes a method to change the particle size of FMC to optimize the quality of the steamed bread and to reduce fat digestibility by adding FMC.展开更多
Regarding the carbon neutrality target,the proportion of renewable energy in global energy sources is predicted to increase to 50%by 2050,and the increment in penetration requires fossil fuel power plants to play a ke...Regarding the carbon neutrality target,the proportion of renewable energy in global energy sources is predicted to increase to 50%by 2050,and the increment in penetration requires fossil fuel power plants to play a key role in grid peak regulation.The integrated gasification combined cycle(IGCC)is a promising peak-regulating method for power grids.However,due to the strong coupling between units,the flexibility of gas turbines cannot be fully utilized in response to power demand.This paper proposed a novel polygeneration system integrating syngas storage,hydrogen production,and gas turbines for power.Through syngas storage,the dynamic characteristic of each unit can be decoupled to take advantage of the flexibility of the gas turbine.Compared to the general IGCC system,the load change rate of the new system could be increased from 0.5%/min to 3-5%/min without altering the dynamic characteristics of the original equipment.The design capacity of the syngas storage tank could be reduced by decreasing the ramp rate of the power generation unit or increasing the load change rate of the gasification and hydrogen production units.For the new 300-MW system,the required syngas storage tank capacity reached only approximately 1872 m^(3) under storage conditions of 35 bar and 25℃.Furthermore,the investment in the syngas storage tank only accounted for approximately 6.6%of the total investment cost.In general,the novel system can be more flexibly operated under variable loads with low carbon emissions,which can help to increase the penetration of renewable energy in the power grid.展开更多
Flaxseed milk coproduct(FMC)is a by-product of flaxseed milk.Okara is a by-product of processed soybean products.In this study,we investigated the quality of dough and Chinese steamed bread(CSB)with the addition of FM...Flaxseed milk coproduct(FMC)is a by-product of flaxseed milk.Okara is a by-product of processed soybean products.In this study,we investigated the quality of dough and Chinese steamed bread(CSB)with the addition of FMC and okara.We also examined the in vitro starch digestibility,expected glycemic index(eGI),starch crystallinity,and short-range order structure of CSB.The results showed that FMC and okara decreased the dough fluidity,formed a dense structure,and enhanced the mechanical properties of the dough.FMC and okara increased the hardness,gumminess,and chewiness of the CSB,while decreasing its cohesion and elasticity.The addition of FMC and okara improved the nutrient content of CSB and reduced the eGI from 75.86 to 51.56.FMC and okara altered the multiscale structure of starch,effectively shielding the amylase site of action,and limited the interaction between amylase and starch.This study provides a reference for the high-value utilization of oilseed processing by-products.展开更多
Reactive dividing-wall column(RDWC) technology plays a critical role in the energy saving and high efficiency of chemical process.In this article, the process of co-producing ethyl acetate(EA) and n-butyl acetate(BA) ...Reactive dividing-wall column(RDWC) technology plays a critical role in the energy saving and high efficiency of chemical process.In this article, the process of co-producing ethyl acetate(EA) and n-butyl acetate(BA) with RDWC was studied.BA was not only the product, but also acted as entrainer to remove the water generated by the two esterification reactions.Experiments and simulations of the co-production process were carried out.It was found that the experimental results were in good agreement with the simulation results.Two kinds of RDWC structures(RDWC-FC and RDWC-RS) were proposed, and the co-production process operating parameters of the two types of RDWC were optimized by Aspen Plus respectively.The optimal operating parameters of the RDWC-FC were determined as follows: 0.6 of the reflux ratio of aqueous phase(RR), 0.66 of the vapor split(R_V) and 0.51 of the liquid split(R_L).And the optimal operating parameters of the RDWC-RS were shown as follows: RR was 0.295 and R_V was 0.61.Furthermore, the energy saving analysis of the co-production process was based on the annual output of 10000 tons of EA, compared with the traditional reaction distillation(RD) to prepare EA and BA, the reboiler duty of the RDWC-FC column could save 20.4%, TAC saving 23.6%; RDWC-RS reboiler energy consumption could save 17.0%, TAC 22.2%.展开更多

Over the past two decades,Taiwan region of China’s welfare policies for the elderly have prepared for the arrival of an aged society with the aim of facilitating aging in place(AIP).The Long-Term Care Services Act pa...Over the past two decades,Taiwan region of China’s welfare policies for the elderly have prepared for the arrival of an aged society with the aim of facilitating aging in place(AIP).The Long-Term Care Services Act passed by the Legislative Yuan in 2015 set regulations for long-term care personnel,thereby improving the welfare system for the elderly.The government’s AIP policies focus on providing welfare institutions or service units and do not sufficiently explore key factors such as the relationship between care services and community governance models.Since the basic focus of elderly welfare policies is AIP,it is important to actively empower grassroots community organizations and consider the elderly as important subjects of community participation.AIP policies emphasize providing long-term care and nurturing the elderly until death;such policies will be more proactive and innovative if coproduction is incorporated.This study briefly discusses theories related to coproduction using the case study of Chiayi County’s Dingcaiyian Community Development Association,which links six communities in remote rural villages and establishes a community care network based on the coproduction concept.Follow-up issues related to community care are considered and potential practices and ideas to guide social welfare transformation and community governance in the future are discussed.展开更多

文摘Reactive dividing-wall column(RDWC) technology plays a critical role in the energy saving and high efficiency of chemical process.In this article, the process of co-producing ethyl acetate(EA) and n-butyl acetate(BA) with RDWC was studied.BA was not only the product, but also acted as entrainer to remove the water generated by the two esterification reactions.Experiments and simulations of the co-production process were carried out.It was found that the experimental results were in good agreement with the simulation results.Two kinds of RDWC structures(RDWC-FC and RDWC-RS) were proposed, and the co-production process operating parameters of the two types of RDWC were optimized by Aspen Plus respectively.The optimal operating parameters of the RDWC-FC were determined as follows: 0.6 of the reflux ratio of aqueous phase(RR), 0.66 of the vapor split(R_V) and 0.51 of the liquid split(R_L).And the optimal operating parameters of the RDWC-RS were shown as follows: RR was 0.295 and R_V was 0.61.Furthermore, the energy saving analysis of the co-production process was based on the annual output of 10000 tons of EA, compared with the traditional reaction distillation(RD) to prepare EA and BA, the reboiler duty of the RDWC-FC column could save 20.4%, TAC saving 23.6%; RDWC-RS reboiler energy consumption could save 17.0%, TAC 22.2%.
文摘There are many problems in terms of safe coal production and the sound developmentof the coal industry.Accompanying the intensification and increasing efficiencyof coal production and the conducting of mining operations at deeper and more remoteareas of mines,the efficient recovery and utilization of Coal Mine Methane:(CMM) is animportant issue in improving and stabilizing the productivity in the coal mining industry withhigh levels of gas,where the incidence of gas outbursts is increasing.We plan to studyvarious aspects of the development of production technology and characteristics of themine site.This is to establish the technology for highly efficient coproduction coal and gasoperation rate.As a result,the productivity at the coal mine face will increase due to thereduction in gas emissions in the mining face.Effective use of recovered gas can be expectedto reduce global warming by reducing the amount of coal mine methane gas emissionin the air.

文摘The duality theorem of generalized weak smash coproducts of weak module coalgebras and comodule coalgebras over quantum groupoids is studied.Let H be a weak Hopf algebra,C a left weak H-comodule coalgebra and D a left weak H-module coalgebra.First,a weak generalized smash coproduct C×lH D over quantum groupoids is defined and the module and comodule structures on it are constructed.The weak generalized right smash coproduct C×rL D is similar.Then some isomorph-isms between them are obtained.Secondly,by introducing some concepts of a weak convolution invertible element,a weak co-inner coaction and a strongly relative co-inner coaction,a sufficient condition for C×rH D to be isomorphic to Cv D is obtained,where v∈WC(C,H)and the coaction of H on D is right strongly relative co-inner.Finally,the duality theorem for a generalized smash coproduct over quantum groupoids,(C×lH H)×lH H≌Cv(H×lH H),is obtained.
文摘Over the past two decades,Taiwan region of China’s welfare policies for the elderly have prepared for the arrival of an aged society with the aim of facilitating aging in place(AIP).The Long-Term Care Services Act passed by the Legislative Yuan in 2015 set regulations for long-term care personnel,thereby improving the welfare system for the elderly.The government’s AIP policies focus on providing welfare institutions or service units and do not sufficiently explore key factors such as the relationship between care services and community governance models.Since the basic focus of elderly welfare policies is AIP,it is important to actively empower grassroots community organizations and consider the elderly as important subjects of community participation.AIP policies emphasize providing long-term care and nurturing the elderly until death;such policies will be more proactive and innovative if coproduction is incorporated.This study briefly discusses theories related to coproduction using the case study of Chiayi County’s Dingcaiyian Community Development Association,which links six communities in remote rural villages and establishes a community care network based on the coproduction concept.Follow-up issues related to community care are considered and potential practices and ideas to guide social welfare transformation and community governance in the future are discussed.
文摘This paper sets out a new paradigm of faith based organisation(FBO)called Curating Spaces of Hope.The paper sets out the paradigm and the interdisciplinary literatures into which the paradigm is applied namely,the diversifying belief landscape in the UK,the postsecular,the redefinition of FBOs,and liminality as the new norm in policy.The paper then turns to ethnographic research to evidence the ability of the paradigm to map and coproduce shared values,before considering applications of Curating Spaces of Hope in post-pandemic contexts in the north west of England through case studies with ecumenical Christian,non-religious,and Turkish Muslim and interfaith contexts.

In addition, let (H, a) be a Hom-σ- Hopf algebra with Hom-〇 --antipode SH, and a sufficient condition for this new monoidal Hom-bialgebra B#y H with the antipode S defined by S(b×h)=(1B×SH(a^-1)b(-1)))(SB(b(0))×1H to be a monoidal Hom-Hopf algebra is derived.

We introduce a Horn-ω-smash coproduct (Cω H, γ) and give necessary and sufficient conditions for (Cω H, γ) to be a Hom-bialgebra. We study the quasi-triangular structures over (Cω H, γ) and show the necessary and sufficient conditions for (Cω H, γ R) to be a quasi-triangular Hom-Hopf algebra. As applications of our results, we introduce the concept of D(H)* and construct quasi-triangular structures over D(H)*.

It is shown that there exists an isomorphism between the cocyclic object of the crossed coproduet coalgebra induced from two coalgebras with a cotwisted map and the cocyclic object related to the diagonal of the cocylindrical object.

Let B, H be two Hopf algebras with H acting weakly on B and α, β : B → H H be two linear maps verifying suitable conditions. We consider in this paper a twisted Hopf crossed coproduct B ×βα H and derive a necessary and sufficient condition for B # ×βα H with a Hopf smash product structure to be a bialgebra which generalizes in [14, Theorem 1.1] and the well-known Radford biproduct theorem [10, Theorem 1] .

文摘A lot of combinatorial objects have algebra and coalgebra structures and posets are important combinatorial objects. In this paper, we construct algebra and coalgebra structures on the vector space spanned by posets. Firstly, by associativity and the unitary property, we prove that the vector space with the conjunction product is a graded algebra. Then by the definition of free algebra, we prove that the algebra is free. Finally, by the coassociativity and the counitary property, we prove that the vector space with the unshuffle coproduct is a graded coalgebra.
